The only Bo Katan redemption arc I will accept is if it ends with Din distracting her long enough by making her face him, so Boba Fett can sneak up behind her with a blaster, and blow her fucking head off.
Beacuse honestly she never wears her helmet anyways its an easy target.

God the Directing in this episode was just鈥mazing
Like I am genuinely at a loss for words bc it was just so beautifully shot and edited together
The Ray sheild fight scene, the fight scene with Gideon that cuts directly to the Praetorian Guards emerging, the whole shot with Bo leading them into battle with the darksaber, the fight in the air with the jet packs, the garden in the surface caves鈥m sure I鈥檓 going to think of so many more.
But Rick Famuyiwa and the whole team, you鈥檝e truly outdone yourselves.

Thinking abt Star Wars as a tragedy and im just.
You want it to go well, you want good things for the characters, but the storys already written, we know how it ends.
You can watch the mandalorian, and want lukes jedi school to work out, because he鈥檚 young and full of hope, but we know how it ends, we know it鈥檚 not going to.
You can watch watch Obi-Wan try his best, and hope that he gets a chance at some kind of, any kind of, reconciliation with anakin, you can want them to have some kind of positive thing, but we know how it ends, we know it won鈥檛 work.
Any part of star wars, it鈥檚 abt hope but so much of it is a tragedy anyway, you know how the stories end, and they dont end with long and happy lives.

So were they trying to parallel Din getting his blood drawn while captured and Grogu's blood being used in the cloning experiments??

I just watched the latest Mandalorian episode (Chapter 23)
I am not ok.
The pacing for the season is still a clusterfuck, and this episode is a great example of that. It's kind of all over the place, with too many lulls and then big bursts of exposition. But overall, I liked the info we got about Mandalore, the different factions and Moff Gideon.
Ok, so now the bantha in the room.
I'm not ok. Paz is fucking dead! He'd just been given a little fucking characterisation beyond "he doesn't like Din," and now poof gone. I know that's the point, give him some depth and a kid to make us give a shit but urgh. The problem was there wasn't enough really. Honestly, we barely know Paz, so his death won't hit the way they want it to.
I'm upset, but I'm not sure how much of that is based on headcanons and such. The average casual viewer is going to be like, "oh no, that's kind of sad," and then move on.
Also, why capture Din and not Paz. I get "plot reasons," but I mean logically.
I feel simultaneously upset and let down. This season has been all over the place and is now cramming everything into the last two episodes.
So much of what is wrong with season 3 could have been solved by not having Grogu and Din reunite in Book of Boba Fett. That was the wrong choice to make. It's fucked up the flow of this season and we got a shit ton of filler.

My thoughts of the Season 3 finale of The Mandalorian
Warning: Spoilers (duh)
Hello everyone, I just saw today's finale of The Mandalorian. In my honest opinion, I thought the ending was sweet but a bit rushed. Now, before y'all start typing in the replies like an angry mob, allow me to explain why I don't think this season was a bad season as some ppl think it is.
Moff Gideon's return was something I didn't expect but something I had to enjoy. Of course, we had other villains like Gorian Shard and Palleon show up, but Gideon is the one who stood out to me the most. The fact that he cloned himself was something so unexpected that I actually enjoyed it.
Now the Darksaber getting destroyed: I expected that to happen ever since Bo Katan grabbed it in the first place. I was shocked to see it, but I knew something like that was unavoidable. Yes I know that plays a huge role in Mandalorian culture (on Bo's side) but everything doesn't last forever and Moff Gideon proved that.
Just now, I am seeing ppl complain about Grogu's new name being Din Grogu and not Grogu Djarin. I am confused as to why ppl are making this a big deal. It's not. Maybe the planet Din Djarin is from, Din is a last name, and Djarin is a first name. Maybe the Armorer knows that and decided to do the same thing to Grogu since he is now Djarin's son. Like I said, I don't understand why ppl have a problem with this. That's like ppl having a problem with cat owners adopting a dog. Maybe the cat owner suddenly loves dogs. You never know.
Last but not least, the last thing I want to talk about is the future of Star Wars. As much as I love the franchise and I love the actors in Lucasfilm, I'm concerned for its future. I'm not talking about the fans, I'm talking about the writers. I am starting to understand why ppl are slowly falling out of love with The Mandalorian, and that makes me concerned for future Star Wars projects. I do want The Mandalorian to have a Season 4, and I do want all the other shows to do well than previous ones. I have faith that the writers would fix their mistakes and take some time. I am noticing some rushed elements into the story, and I want that to stop rn. Star Wars is art, and you can not rush art. If art is rushed, it would look ugly. Anyways I hope this sheds a light on other Star Wars fans, and I do hope one day we all will get better Star Wars content in the future. And if this all fails, we'll protest.

the mandalorian spoliers - carl weathers made episode as masterpiece shows how Kelleran Beq saved Grogu from order 66 and i think ahmed best is great
It was a good episode! Carl Weathers did a great job! I do think it was little too short though, especially after how long the last episode was.
Ahmed Best is great! He deserves the world.

I like that while its clear shes not a bad person, Bo Katan is incredibly biased, and full of secrets and hate. I mean shes dismissive of Dins beliefs and belittles him constantly only to boast about how she was born into this and then calls it nonsense.
But remember who she is also. She was not just born into a powerful family. She was raised here, knows exactly what might be down here and how to look for them, and used the darksaber before (also note she has never won it she took it from her sister). And then has the gall to look at Grogu "did you think your dad was the only mandalorian?" No. He didn't. Thats why you're here and Grogu is fucking scared of this place and wants his dad back.
Most of all though? Remember she helped do this. Bo Katan switched sides in the final days of Mandalore. Helped one side rise up only to turn heel and try to take them down in actions that led to Mandalores destruction. Thats why she knows the air isn't toxic and others don't.
Also don't like how much emphasis she makes to both of them about the power of birthright and claims the best Mandalorians were raised here. Din told Grogu all of them can trace their roots back to Mandalore one way or another and Bo Katan says that any worthy Mandalorians were *raised* there. I just don't like the way she seems to dismiss foundlings when they are just as if not more important to the Mandalorians.
I don't expect her to become a great person, but hey. Maybe seeing a fucking mythosaur in the living waters will teach her that mocking Din and his people for being religious might be the kind of unjustified superior attitude that caused people to stop following her.
Also being honest? Kind of irks me that she clearly knew what to expect going down there which is why she was fine. But heeded no such warning to Din despite knowing he's never been there before and wouldn't know what to expect. And the fact that she instantly spotted the darksaber and took no time to yeild it in combat over eveything she had on her. Like gee Bo Katan you were fucking quick to have any excuse to use it again weren't you?

Side note: I liked that Mayfeld鈥檚 superior officer didn鈥檛 recognize him. His fear wasn鈥檛 unfounded. He just overestimated how little the Imperial officers care about their soldiers. They鈥檙e canon fodder and the subsequent conversation proved exactly that. Which is why Mayfeld snapped. From that perspective Din had to be the one to go into the mess hall. That鈥檚 why the set up works.
