Honestly, Danny is having such a good time right now. He gets to travel with Ellie, explore space, just have fun. Plus his secondary protector-instincts are having soothed despite him not technically doing any hero-ing anymore. Really his sister had the right idea when she decided she wanted to become a doctor, this is honestly a blast.

And if someone does end up passing away, well, Ellie is always happy to help soothe their spirit and guide them to the Realms where they can reach their respective afterlife. Or become a ghost. 

They are completely oblivious to the fact that there are now legends and entire temples dedicated to them now. Apparently accidental ascension is in fact a thing, as Dan later laughs at them about.

you know i had a fun little vp idea i wanted to do for the cyberpunk anniversary but i haven't had the energy to even touch it recently so i'll just settle with saying that this game impacted me in ways i never thought it would when i first picked it up 3 years ago. i knew i would enjoy it, i had been looking forward to it for a long time, and despite a ~controversial~ launch, i had a fucking blast from day 1 (on ps4 no less). regardless of bugs and memes and public dunking, the story grabbed me like nothing else could at the time, and it reignited so much of my passion and motivation for art that i had lost in the clutches of mental illness and i'll always be grateful for that. it introduced me to so many wonderful people (some whom i carry very close to my heart), and maybe most personally surprising, it gave me an outlet to understand parts of myself that i had been too afraid to acknowledge for a long time, the courage to accept and embrace myself as non-binary, and allow myself to just BE without trying to convince myself i'm crazy. that's not what i expected from the get-go but it's been a really fun journey to be on ngl

The only person who has killed Tommy is Dream

The War of Independence has the least canon deaths

Antfrost’s, Mexican Dreams’s and Tommy’s second death, and Quackity’s first death are the only ones caused by a mutually agreed fight/duel. Everything else is murder intentional or accidental.

Schlatt’s and Sam’s final deaths are the only ones caused by body problems, not outsiders. Curiously both had 2 lives when it happened.  

MD is the only player to be canonically killed by a mob.

With BadBoyHalo and Skeppy sharing a death count, is actually very hard to tell how many lives they actually have left.

Even if C!Ranboo said that he only had one life when he died, he did die in canon 3 separate times.

Is shown that anyone revived has a single life, as Tommy was sent to purgatory when he was killed again. Jack is the exception.

12 have all three lives: George, Sapnap, Callahan, Alyssa, Eret, Niki, Hbomb, Puffy, Tina, Boomer, Jack, and Michael

Okay, so this requires like three different answers with mini-answers in between! Cause their routines would change based on who's place they're at, and IF they're together in the morning! 'cause they don't always sleep at the other's home. So let's get to it-!~

If they're waking up TOGETHER at Neon's house:

I can see Eclipse already being awake only because Neon doesn't do mornings exactly, they are the type to turn over and go "five more minutes..." and then those minutes turn into an hour and-- whoops!

So Eclipse would wake up first and set up the kitchen to make breakfast (but not cook yet.) N once Neon's alarm is about to go off he slips into the room and turns it off before it sounds. Two hands gently start shaking them awake and Neon groans and attempts their "Five more minutes" before Eclipse leans down and nuzzles their forehead. A soft hum of appreciation from Neon as they open their eyes and smile, "Good morning handsome"

Eclipse responds with an easy, "Good morning my little fire starter!~ Still want five more minutes?"

Neon heavily debates it before they nod and Eclipse just picks them up like every other day. He scoops them up with no effort and is now casually carrying them on his hip snuggly. That's when the prepared kitchen comes into play. He carries them in the kitchen and places them on the table, turning around and getting the cooking started. Neon sleepily watches him work, enjoying how all four of his arms can work in such beautiful sync.

And eventually, they slip off the table and just hug Eclipse from behind while he works. <3 What a beautiful start to the morning! and this is what they do :D cause it works to get Neon up n going while Eclipse gets to perform one of Neon's fav things, which is him just... doing things for them without asking <3 it makes them melt and Eclipse knows this well! <3!

If they're waking up TOGETHER at Eclipse's apartment:

Eclipse doesn't exactly have all of the human requirements in his apartment, he has the basics but it's not exactly meant for a longer stay than the weekend or a couple days at most. So this one wouldn't happen as often. BUT when it does! It is still very nice n enjoyable for them <3

This time I can see Eclipse being the one needing help outta bed, but not because he's tired! because Neon also doesn't wanna get up. So Eclipse lets himself be a little clingy, holding onto Neon tightly and cuddling them close.

Neon let's the cuddling continue for several minutes, basking in the gentle whirrs of his servos that beckon them back to sleep. But they sadly stay awake with the thoughts of work, and eventually, they whine, "uhhgghhhhhhh we have to get ready for work."

Eclipse whines in return and it's his turn for the "five more minutes?"

But Neon has to be the voice of reason, they sigh again and ask him to pass their shirt (which was forgotten over the night for close intimate cuddling <3 <3 <3 Skin-to-Silicone contact is great for bonding!)

And Neon slowly works on getting dressed all while staying in Eclipse's arms. Eventually, they do manage to wiggle free and lug the big guy with them. (not literally... He is too heavy for that, but he let's them "drag" him and he follows along)

Then Neon helps him get dressed. Grabbing his shirt, pants, lab coat and everything. It's very entertaining for them to help him get all four arms into their respective sleeves, but once it's all finished both are ready and even have some time to grab take-out for Neon's breakfast!~

If they're waking up APART:

Once Neon and Eclipse are close (so... pretty fast for them LMAO) Eclipse would wake up Neon with a phone call every day! A call n;

"Good morning Angel <3 Sleep well?" and Neon replies with "Morning Lovebug, I slept well. How was your night?"

and the two continue talking while doing their own respective morning routines. Them both getting dressed and asking the other for opinions on what to wear for the day. If that turtle neck is still good for a second wear, or if they should match for the day.

N once that's done Neon gets to cooking breakfast after a few reminders to eat from Eclipse, who lovingly dotes upon them the entire time to encourage them to do it! <3 Sweet little, "You can do it. Your cooking is amazing, I would love to hear the process!" or "You're so lovely, you should make breakfast! A tasty meal for my little fire starter!" and eventually Neon is just cooking and babbling about everything they're doing. Meanwhile Eclipse is already walking his way over to their place so they can walk to work together <3

They enjoy their mornings <3 <3 <3

I'M DONEEEE with bg3!!!!!! CREDITS ROLLING! almost 110 hours for one playthrough, doing the main + companion storylines and whatever sidequests i stumbled upon in the process. steam says i have 150 hours in the past two weeks, and since i didn't play EA any that shortly before release, those 40 extra hours are i guess from reloads and... does the time played displayed in-game not count loading screens? good lord i hope i didn't spend 20+ hours in loading screens. i think i spent about 30-35 hours in act 1, 30-35 in act 2, and the rest in act 3 (which would be my favorite if my performance in the city was better - but i at least never did have any crashes in it! just the first 2 acts)

some rambling thoughts on the ending/my playthrough in the tags, but tl;dr i'm not as underwhelmed as reddit led me to believe i would be (certainly less than i was by dos2's ending!), but i am frustrated by a great deal of visual bugs (flat textures, missing meshes, etc) i experienced in the ending cutscenes - but i have no idea how much was the game itself and how much was my computer not being up to the task (i'm leaning towards it being my computer, because it has a habit of making textures super fucked up after playing for a while, like they don't decompress properly or something and theyre 5 pixels big & nasty-looking, but also that's different than the bugs i got in the ending). i'm also confused by the lack of ending slides since those have been an rpg staple probably for as long as there have been rpgs. but overall: WOW I REALLY LIKED THIS VIDEO GAME. extremely worth the $60 i spent 3 years ago, and will be worth however much i have to spend to upgrade my computer to do it justice.

#SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS #READ THESE TAGS AT YOUR OWN RISK #so i ended up ditching the two-impulse-playthroughs concept at the start of act 3 #i couldn't commit both to being evil and also to playing the game twice as the same character in such a short span of time #so impulse consolidated into one astarion-romancing tadpole-eating mostly-chaotic-good disaster #they also romanced the emperor. because of course they did #what's that meme. *astarion voice* me my partner and the mind flayer that visits them in their dreams #yknow. the one with the $500 mareep plushie #but they actually faced no consequences for all their tadpole usage other than having a spooky face for act 3 #which no one ever commented on #so either they needed more tadpoles or i specifically had to pick the 'could i become illithid assimilate orpheus and use the stones' #option. which speaking of orpheus i am so sorry lae'zel i will do you justice next playthrough #uhhh what else. i'm not as unhappy with karlach's ending as reddit led me to believe either. but that's probably just because i love sad #endings. and also didn't fully romance her this playthrough. maybe i'd feel different if i did #the actual final boss fight was very very cool. gortash & orin's felt underwhelming compared to ketheric's #raphael's fight was super cool but mostly because of the disney villain song ass music. i managed to crowd him into a corner so it was just #a matter of hitting him over & over until he died. not that difficult #i never had to reload a fight more than once and that happened a single digit number of times. which i appreciate! i was on explorer #after all. the difficulty felt perfect - big fights were challenging and stressful but not frustrating to the point of tears #as they tended to be in EA for me. many an EA playthrough of mine ended against priestess gut #i got an achievement for saving every tiefling refugee i could #and specifically impulse killed the netherbrain & destroyed the tadpoles #i can't think of anything else. i like this game a lot #the companions & their storylines were the absolute highlight for me as they are in every rpg #even if i didn't properly complete lae'zels. or wyll's? i mean i broke his pact. and then found his dad who died anyway. but the quest was #never marked complete in my journal #the ending i got for gale felt strange to me too like bro youre really just gonna repeat the mistakes of your past self and that karsus guy #or whoever. i passed that dc 30 persuasion check and everything #still in awe of shadowheart & astarion's specifically. i'm sure i'll feel the same about lae'zels next playthrough #aaaand i hit the limit on tags! well. off to draw! maybe. i might sleep for 5 million years first. exhausting! 150 hours in 10 days!

I've been thinking a lot lately about Delirium and the way she speaks. She talks around a concept, never hitting it head on but glancing off through a series of metaphors and related concepts that explain things far better than wording them straight might. It's very relatable, and I think that's why I like her; that's how I think.

To me, the world isn't composed of precisely defined concepts but a series of interconnected existences which can all, ultimately, be related to each other. I also experience things in the incredibly specific manner Delirium seems to. I have sensitivities largely untethered from aversions, meaning that while I don't often find things deeply unpleasant or intolerable, I still experience them with an unusual specificity which often defies concise explanation. The best way I can convey certain feelings or experiences is through other feelings, experiences, and concepts to weave together a series of approximations that through their similar and dissimilar traits narrow down to what I'm trying to describe. Delirium does this too, and it's treated as a part of her that's no better or worse than any other. There are those that don't understand and those that do, and those that at least try to are awarded for their efforts because finally and most importantly, she genuinely has something to say. Her speech patterns are deceptively rambling because she takes a long time to say what she means to say, while simultaneously saying exactly it.

Delirium is neurodivergent coded in such a cathartic way because of this. I feel her frustration and joy because I know what it's like to be the person trying to explain something that has no words to assign, asking all of the time if there's a word for what she's feeling as a rhetorical and genuine question so that she can explain something without explaining it and call into question why we feel everything must be precisely laid in the place of as few words as possible. She is incredibly intelligent, but loses track of all of what's happening in a far more obvious way than most because there's just so much to keep track of, which is also very relatable as a neurodivergent person. Without putting labels on the experience, she perfectly captures it. I just... I like Delirium quite a lot, and think she'd be very good at post-modern literature.
