can i just talk about how much of a stickler i am for live albums? like the energy that the bands bring to every performance, its fucking astonishing. this also goes into how much i fucking love the real will wood. not only is the work in the film fucking amazing on chris dunne's part and perfectly captures what the will wood fanbase expects from will wood whilst maintaining a stable plot that the people behind the scenes actually love is amazing. its perfectly clear that every person who worked on this was super into this whole bundle of chaos.

not to mention the fucking music from trww live album has so much fucking energy and has perfect tone. i honestly think its the best album in will's discography. from the absolute screaming in the live cotard's solution to the beautiful rendition of skeleton appreciation day in the album, everything feels overall just really fucking complete. and i know that will's music from that time isn't as largely known as stuff like the normal album or icimi and all but they're still fucking bops.

as for another live album that im in love with. can we talk about how much fucking love and care that went into death to the mechanisms? like holy fuck they did the entire fucking bifrost incident amazingly. it's honestly better than the original album. not to mention that jessica law didnt show up for the first half of the show as a funny ode to her absence from the band during that period of time. and then after all of that, they IMMEDIATELY go into a bunch of other songs from their career as the mechanisms with all the energy ever. and they end it with the most emotional, energy packed song, Death To The Mechanisms, ending their career as the mechanisms with one final, passionate fucking bang.

that being said i fucking love those two live albums.
