I was looking for a video thumbnail to use for The Perfect Pear, and holy shit, I can't be the only one seeing this
No, no, think about it.
Applejack's parents both die before the events of the show, and in-show, it's never explained why.
You think... maybe they went out as outlaws and got shot out in the desert, by chance? 🤔

This is random, but I was in a Youtube spiral just now, and happened to watch the MLP episode “The Perfect Pear” (it was in the upcoming video list after I’d listened to some MLP songs). It was just as sweet and sad as I remembered, I cried a few tears.
ANYWAY! Buttercup and Bright Mac planted those seeds as a part of their wedding and it grew into the really pretty intertwined apple-pear trees, right? Well, it got me thinking idly what kinda wedding Applejack and Rainbow Dash had, and this cutest image just floated into my head.
I just imagine Applejack wanting to have the wedding by her parents’ trees, and depends on whoever imagines it I guess, but I like to think it’s a small intimate ceremony, just them and closest family and friends (the reception would be absolutely humongous tho). I don’t think they’d plant seeds, since that was a symbolic thing for AJ’s parents, but their vows would be so touching and beautiful (I imagine Rainbow Dash at some point talking to the tree and telling AJ’s parents she’ll take good care of their daughter) and Dash would cry and I’m almost crying from imagining it and Twilight would be officiating and she would absolutely cry. I feel like writing a smol fic, honestly, the image is so clear in my head.

Been down a nostalgia road-trip through Generation Four of My Little Pony and I still think that Season Seven Episode Thirteen "The Perfect Pear" is a gem of an episode. It holds up so well and it just beautiful. The story between the Apples and the Pears is one of my favorite versions of the classic Romeo and Juliet story.

Goldie Delicious: " Ah know they (Bright Mac & Buttercup) loved each other very much. They had that magical, star-kissed, "other-side-of-a-rainbow" kinda love. Y'couldn't be 'round them too long 'n not feel a little bit lighter than air yourself. "

You're in My Head Like a Catchy Song by Pear Butter (Buttercup)
Jussy x Cooper song 💗
-----------------------------------
Jussy: 🎵We're far apart in every way
But you're the best part of my day
And sure as I breathe the air
I know we are the perfect pair
On a prickly path that goes on for miles
But it's worth it just to see you smile
And I cannot be pulled apart
From the hold you have on my heart
And even if the world tells us it's wrong
You're in my head like a catchy song
The seasons change and leaves may fall
But I'll be with you through them all
And rain or shine, you'll always be mine
On a prickly path that goes on for miles
You're the only one who makes it all worthwhile
And you should not blame me, too
If I can't help fallin' in love with you...🎵
------------------------------------------------------
I listened to this song from the MLP episode "The Perfect Pear" and I thought it'll be a beautiful love song for Jussy and Cooper!! 💗💗💗

I've seen this episode so many times and I still get theary eyed I hate it
Its just so sad like grandpear never saw his daughter after that argument. He moved away and she died! The tree and her children are all he has left of her.
I can only imagine how apple bloom must feel likely having no memories of her parents (its implied they died while she was still an infant) which makes her line about meeting grandpear helping her find a piece of her she didnt know was missing even more of an emotional gutpunch
