Dean sending Jerry away, Jerry walks away like a sad clown but when the rope is completely tense (representing the tensions between them or between them and the "external forces"?) i was cuddling with my boyfriend last night when his shoulder started tensing up (like he was readjusting or gently pushing me off) and when i asked him if he was okay or needed me to move or something he went “no you’re fine, i was just imagining myself pulling a large rope. i didn’t even realize my shoulder was doing that lmao” then refused to elaborate and i have never been as attracted to him as i was in that moment.

What is meant with this quietly influential phrase? Well, this term refers to the musicians that are probably not mentioned a lot, yet they somehow continue to have their effect shown. Black Tape For A Blue Girl, for instance, are a cult band, yet the group has Sam Rosenthal as the main member and the latter didn't just bring darkwave to US with the collective, he also established a label for many similar musicians. Of course, one could jokingly call him the industrialist of darkwave thanks to all his hard work, but that would be way too cheeky. Moreover, another reason for that might be that his darkwave wasn't as defined as the genre became later on, which makes the records of Black Tape For A Blue Girl more interesting.

y'all can stop sending me asks about whether i consider femboy a slur btw, this is stupid fucking discourse. just like any other label it is okay to use for yourself, be it as a gender non conforming guy, a non binary person or even a transfem, but just randomly applying it to other people is obviously shitty and can be done with derogatory intent. most use of the word, especially in queer spaces, such as on tumblr, is self describing or about people who self describe as such. you don't have to be comfortable with the term yourself, or with being called that, but that doesn't mean other people using it for themselves or referring to people who use it for themselves is somehow derogatory. we also don't have discourse about whether tomboy is a slur now do we?
