Hazbin establishes very strong parallels between Charlie and Vaggie’s relationship and Lucifer and Lilith’s.
Charlie being as to Lucifer, the fantastical dreamer discouraged and rejected by the world around them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vaggie being as to Lilith, someone who failed their assigned role and were driven out of ‘paradise’ (Heaven/Eden) by someone they should have been able to trust (Lute/Adam).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In their most vulnerable moments Lucifer and Charlie find them, love blossoming between each pair because they defied the norm, Lucifer and Lilith being rebellious in a world of order and Charlie and Vaggie being kind in a world of cruelty.
Though at the same time, Charlie is to Lilith while Vaggie is to Lucifer.
Tumblr media
“This kingdom was something she really cared about. Something I care about.”
Charlie acknowledges she is the last thread of the hope her mother gave to Hell all those thousands of years ago. The responsibility to her home Charlie puts on her shoulders is born from the love Lilith had for it. She is directly following in her mother’s footsteps, truly believing her people deserve better and that they’re worth fighting for.
Then there is their partners, the fallen angels who don’t share their love’s connection to Hell. Lucifer saw sinners as horrible people who wasted the gift he went to Hell for giving them. Vaggie always kept everyone not named Charlie a spear’s distance away, treating them as people she tolerated but never trusted for a moment. Despite what Heaven had done, had done to them, they were still thinking like angels.
(Though, these mentalities would change throughout the first season, Lucifer choosing to support Charlie no matter what and Vaggie accepting the hotel crew as a part of the in-group which she wishes to protect)
Lucifer’s distaste for his people, not fighting alongside Lilith’s rebellion and instead agreeing to the exterminations, seems to be why they eventually split, despite the love they held for each other. In extreme contrast, Vaggie always supporting Charlie is what keeps them together despite bumps in their relationship. Vaggie always chose to believe in and support Charlie and that means the world and more to Charlie, who spent so much of her life unsupported.
The show also juxtaposes Lucifer’s parental love for Charlie with Vaggie’s romantic love for her, most prominently with Vaggie starting the reprise of More Than Anything to express her love as Lucifer did originally.
(They’re also just. Charlie and Lilith being these tall powerful demon women with Vaggie and Lucifer being their short and tiny fallen angel loves)
What becomes interesting is during the finale when Lucifer (very strongly, very tastefully) implies he ate out Adam’s first wife before fucking his second.
This seems to based on sexual interpretations of original sin. However, in Hazbin we are very much lead to believe the Fruit of Knowledge is a literal apple. Given that Lilith is said to have also offered the apple to Eve, I doubt the implication is that Luci had any sort of one night stand with Eve. Rather, I think Lilith, Eve, and him were once, or attempted to be, in a romantic relationship.
Tumblr media
(Considering Eve was made to be Adam’s lesser and Lucifer and Lilith shared the gift of free will with her specifically, I do wonder if Eve had fallen in love with the two, but was unable to leave Adam. The Fruit of Knowledge being given to her so she would be able to be free and join their relationship, but ultimately resulted in their separation as Lucifer and Lilith were casted into Hell)
Which certainly has implications about the future of Charlie and Vaggie’s relationship.
I think the show has actually set very compelling parallels between Eve and Emily.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Much as Lucifer shared forbidden knowledge with Eve, it’s Charlie’s actions that revealed the hidden truth of Heaven’s exterminations. There’s the specific ‘free will’ which Eve was gifted, which fits with Charlie’s influence giving Emily the ‘free will’ to defy Sera and act against Heaven.
I’ve also talked before about the possibility Emily was brought into existence to fill Lucifer’s place in Heaven. Considering the protective relationship Sera has with Emily, along with her looks of genuine horror at her acting against Heaven, it brings to mind the idea Sera has been fearful that Emily would fall just as Lucifer did for Emily’s entire existence, and as such raised her to be more likely to never stray from Heaven as Lucifer did. Which could add to why Sera hid Heaven’s genocide from her despite Emily being a high ranking seraphim; she couldn’t risk giving Emily a reason to rebel.
Which would be a very striking analogue between the two. Both living replacements for the fallen, born into someone else’s shadow to take their place, intended to be the more docile and proper version of Lilith and Lucifer, less likely to stray from the roles they were created to fill. Though, of course, we know Eve fell to temptation and maybe-probably-definitely left or tried to leave Adam, and that Emily is walking the edge.
(Emily having ties to both Lucifer and Eve seems relevant with how Charlie and Vaggie each have parallels to Lucifer and Lilith. Perhaps in her fall, we’ll see Emily ‘thrive in Hell’ just as Lilith did, and similarities between Charlie and Vaggie to Eve will pop up the more we learn about her?)
What’s also interesting is that Eve ‘falling into temptation’ (choosing Lucifer and Lilith over her preordained role) is what separated her from them. However, if Emily were to choose supporting Charlie’s dream over her place in Heaven, then her falling would be what brought her to Charlie and Vaggie. Thereby their situation acts as a foil to the previous generation’s.
And Emily supporting Charlie is very relevant. In More Than Anything we get the exchange of:
“I’ll support your dream whatever lies in store.”
“And who could ask for more?”
Tumblr media
Because Charlie can’t think of anything more she could ask. Charlie’s idea of love and being loved is so heavily based on support and being supported. It’s a part of the conflict in Hell’s Greatest Dad, that Lucifer is being genuine and Alastor manipulative, but Alastor is the one actually providing Charlie with what she asks of him, which Lucifer never has. Charlie shows her love for Hell by believing in them, that they can improve, they deserve safety, and they have worth. It’s why Vaggie’s love is so important to Charlie, because for a long time, she was the only one believing in her.
And what does Emily do?
Tumblr media
“I don’t know-”
“Yeah, let’s give him a chance!”
She supports Charlie! She believes and trusts her and argues on her behalf. She’s the only angel in Heaven to have faith in Charlie’s dream. Having Emily in the position of a fallen angel, falling right into Charlie’s arms, Charlie caring for her and nursing her back to health, with her being someone who very deeply believes in her, would be the same conditions that made Charlie fall in love with Vaggie three years ago.
Then for Vaggie, Emily also has a lot of the textbook traits that she loves Charlie for. The overexcited-ness, the care she has for others, even the way she doesn’t pull rank. And what she hasn’t expressed, that being seeing value in Vaggie where she herself does not, it feels natural that Emily would express that in the way Charlie does upon learning Vaggie’s history. We’ve seen her sense of justice and her horror at Heaven’s actions, so her deeply sympathizing with Vaggie would be entirely expected, and would be a very easy way for Vaggie to catch feelings for Emily.
However, there is this:
Tumblr media
Which suggests the direction of a jealous Vaggie. I think that works, at least initially, with Vaggie feeling insecure in her relationship with Charlie after Emily falling and being cared for by Charlie in the way she was all that time ago. Those feelings heavily changing however, at the realization that Emily is crushing on her just as much as she is Charlie and how deeply relatable to her Emily’s circumstances and trauma would be.
Then on Emily’s side, not only would she have very much been thinking and focusing on Charlie prior to her fall, once she does, she lands in a very emotionally volatile situation where Charlie and Vaggie are supporting her so much and caring for her so deeply. It makes sense that this would translate to her developing feelings for the both of them.
(Now, this is a bit less definitive, but with Emily’s design, the long hair and dress that covers every inch of her short of her fingers, and Heaven being a stand in for the imperialist church, I do read the coming-of-age story the show has set up for her to be one of a conservative christian raised girl striking out of the doctrine she grew up in and finding community in the people her home had demonized, or at least an allegory for such. So having her develop romantic feelings for two ‘vile and blasphemous’ women in a very non-monogamous way would be very thematically relevant I think)
I would say this all works great as an analogue to Lucifer, Lilith, and Eve. Eve being in the unfortunate situation of Adam’s wife but finding comfort in Lucifer and Lilith and falling for the both of them as Emily would as a fallen angel being comforted by Charlie and Vaggie. Lucifer seeing Lilith reflected in Eve and caring for and helping her as he did before being parallel to Charlie helping Emily as she did Vaggie. Lilith initially feeling negativity towards the woman made to replace her bond so closely with her new love, only to realize Eve is falling for her just as much as she is for Lucifer and empathizing with Eve’s situation so deeply, just like Vaggie.
Then, there’s Adam and Lute. I already mentioned that they play parallel with forcing Lilith and Vaggie out of their respective paradises. Their dynamics are built on Adam and Lute punishing, and their domination over, Lilith and Vaggie, because they need to know their place: beneath them. (There’s also the interpretation of that Lute had or has romantic feelings for Vaggie, which is certainly relevant) The show is being very clear with Lute being Adam’s successor I feel, with her taking on his position as leader of the exorcists following his death.
Then, her line: “Your brat is threatening the very foundation of Heaven.” Personally, that makes me think of a sediment Adam would feel towards Lucifer. That’s he is the source of every problem, that he stole his wives (ignoring that Lilith left him before even meeting Luci), and that he destroyed paradise, Eden. Now that Vaggie and Lute’s conflict has seemingly come to a close, I think the show will be shifting to a Lute vs Charlie conflict, much as Adam shifted from Lilith to his hatred for Lucifer.
Now, if the show wants to push a Adam-Eve dynamic with Lute and Emily, what I could imagine is Lute protecting onto Emily in a very one sided way, where she thinks Charlie has ‘corrupted’ the seraphim (threatening heaven’s foundation) and she must personally ‘save’ her, which would very much align with how Adam would feel towards Lucifer’s influence on Eve.
Now, we can tell that Lucifer, Lilith, and Eve’s relationship Did Not pan out particularly well. So I think much like how Charlie and Vaggie have succeeded where Lilith and Lucifer failed, Charlie, Vaggie, and Emily is going to be the successful foil to their attempted relationship. Then for Lute, I think it becomes a question of: does she accept the olive branch Adam did not, does she eventually understand that she is doing wrong, does she accept mercy, or does she continue down Adam’s path, digging her own grave as he did; except that unlike Adam, there won’t be anyone to cry for her?
And y’know, the angel and 3 immortal humans versus the demon/half immortal human and 3 angels serves as a nice counter.

I'm obsessed with Hazbin Hotel and Pokemon, so I just had to give everyone teams! I didn't want to give anyone specific types but things to fit both their personality, growth, and just Pokemon I thought they'd have.
Explanations below:
Charlie's main Pokemon is her Umbreon, to represent KeeKee, and Dreepy to represent Razzle and Dazzle. Hisuian Typhlosion is said to purify spirits before leading them to the afterlife but can also unleash those spirits when they're enraged. Quaxly and Mime Jr. are just fun little nods to Charlie's love of dance and Mime Jr. can also learn the move Sing. I imagine them singing and dancing along with her.
Vaggie's main Pokemon is actually her Absol. I was going to make it her Iron Valiant, which I believe all Exorcists would have, but I wanted to do something different for her. I gave her Pokemon that have weapons and a moth to call back to her earlier designs. Her Espeon is a parallel to Charlie's Umbreon. Because they might be the reverse in personality, you still have Heaven (the sun) and Hell (moon).
Alastor was difficult to give Pokemon to since he's such an enigma. His main Pokemon would be a Rotom that inhabits his microphone. Skeledirge has a microphone and is a ghost type. I'd imagine the Skeledirge has is much more malicious than is typical of its species. Dedenne is another Pokemon that I'd link to radio waves while Froslass and Runerigus are "evil" Pokemon. Runerigus even has strange tentacles like Alastor does. Unfortunately, there are no evil deer Pokemon but Autumn Sawsbuck are the most aggressive of the four seasons.
Angel Dust was a fun one to create. Because he's such a complex character. My first thought was to give him waifu Pokemon from different regions but I didn't want to focus on that aspect of him. Or just give him all spider Pokemon. So I focused on the Pokemon he might surround himself with. His main Pokemon is, obviously, his shiny Lechonk to represent Fat Nuggets. His Ariados plays on the fact that he's a spider but is also a poison type Pokemon. Togepi and Sylveon are both fairy types and Pokemon linked to empathy and feelings. Morelull could be the closest nod to shrooms or other drugs since it's, you know, Pokemon. I gave him a Mawile because it's feminine Pokemon with a scary bite.
Oh, Niffty. The funniest idea would be to give her an all bug team. But that would be mean to the bugs. Her Scyther is her main Pokemon because it's a bug but also has sharp knife hands. So I gave her a Joltik as her one bug Pokemon as a connection to bugs and Alastor. Her Minccino is another Pokemon that evokes the part of Niffty that's the hotel's maid. Mimikyu is just a creepy Pokemon that hides behind a cute look. And I just threw in Tyranitar because Niffty would have an insanely strong Pokemon that's a little crazy.
Yeah, unlike the others, I did give Husk mostly cat Pokemon, but they all fit his personality or the idea behind his character. His main Pokemon is his Meowscarada because it's a magician, just like Husk. Meowth represents the more regal yet greedy Overlord he used to be. His Torracat has very similar colors to Husk with the black and red. His Litwick reminds me of the magical lights Husk put up and were lit with Charlie's magic and his Purrloin represents his deviousness regarding his Overlord days. His Rookiedee represents his wings and chivalry when it comes to some of the characters later in the show and his steel exterior.
Sir Pentious was obviously going to have some snakes on his team but I also wanted to give him some steel types and psychic for his high intelligence and love of engineering. His main Pokemon is his Steelix. It's snake-like but in-your-face snake. He has an Arbok but it's not his main Pokemon. He has Exeggucte to represent the Egg Boiz, but also kind of Togedemaru since it's friend-shaped but spikey. Metang and Golurk represent things that have been created/man-made, which is his thing.
Cherri Bomb was fun because most of her Pokemon know the move Explosion. Her main Pokemon is her Camerupt, which shares her personality. Her Golem and her Electrode are for the whole, you know, bomb thing Cherri's got going on. Her Cherubi and her Hattrem are the more feminine Pokemon on her team but her Hattrem likes to terrorize people just like she does. Her Magnemite has the single eye like she does and also explodes.
Lucifer was really fun because I was originally going to try to give him Pokemon to match the forms that he changes into during the fight with Adam but then rethought the plan. Obviously, he needs to have an Applin for the forbidden apple that will eventually become a Hydrapple. And a Ducklett because of his love for ducks. It was between Ducklett and Psyduck but I thought the cuteness of the small Ducklett just makes me think of Lucifer putting a top hat on it. Lucifer's main Pokemon is actually his Hisuian Zoroark, which is the Baneful Pokemon. I was going to have his main be his Seviper but him being tossed out of Heaven and retreating into isolation and shadows once Lilith left him just fit Hisuian Zoroark. Spiritomb has evil spirits inside it which I think matches Lucifer being in charge of the evils of the world. And Lucario is based of Anubis, who is the guide of the dead to the Underworld.

If Charlie/Vaggie/Emily is a palleral to Lucifer/Lilith/Eve, would their be an Adam to go along with it? I think Lute may be the obvious choice.
Yeah, I think Lute being the Unholy Trinity's parallel to Adam definitely tracks.
Also, if we assume that Lute had one of those homophobic, hyper-repressed hate-crushes on Vaggie, this raises the fun possibility of Lute, post-season 1, trying to cozy up to Emily ostensibly for some kind of scheme. But deep down is clearly trying to find a 'replacement' for Vaggie, just like Eve was a 'replacement' for Lilith to Adam. Only for Emily to leave Lute for Charlie and Vaggie just like Eve left Adam for Lucifer and Lilith.
Furthermore, this could end up leading to a future antagonist one-sided rivalry between Charlie and Lute much like we saw with Lucifer and Adam. Which in turn could lead to us getting a HILARIOUS call-back:
Charlie (about to deliver a massive asskicking): "Now, I am going to FUCK YOU!"
Lute: stares in utter bafflement and horror
Charlie, with a VERY cheeky grin: "...up."

EPISODE 3
I had NO IDEA what this episode was gonna be like, so I was kept on the edge of my seat through the whole thing! Where to even START with this one?
-VAGGIE DEPTH? I'm glad for that! I knew I was gonna like her once she got more screentime, and yeah, I'm happy to be right! I love how devoted she is to Charlie, and how she feels bad about potentially failing her....and overall, I love the overall message of trust this episode has.
-NEW CHARACTERS? Carmilla Carmine.....I knew OF her, but I had idea she was gonna be that kind of character.....The overlord who makes the weapons actually is one that has a heart and wants to protect what's close to her....She wants to AVOID war with the angels....That's super interesting, and I love how Zestial gives her a place to vent. I have NO idea what to think of HIM yet, but Alastor can speak casually to him, so I'll trust him for now. My rule: If Alastor tolerates someone, so do I!
-VELVETTE GETTING SCREENTIME FOR HERSELF? Completely spitting in the face of everyone who thought she'd be a third wheel to VoxVal. I like how bratty she is when put against the other overlords. It really puts into perspective that to them, she's a CHILD. She's probably the newest overlord if I had to guess just from what we've seen. I'd make sense given she rules social media. But...at the same time.....I have to wonder if she's RIGHT....? Like, even if she's being a brat, she's not being, like....STUPID? For wanting to rise up against the angels? I understand why Carmilla DOESN'T want to, but I understand why Velvette would think it'd be the best choice. I like how there seemed to be no correct answer, and I can tell Alastor found it entertaining too~
-SONGS? YOU BET!! While neither of these songs stand up to the Alastor/Vox duet last episode, they were both SUPER good. Velvette's song was very catchy, but the other one was better. Carmilla's voice so AMAZING, and just.....the way that song makes you understand her mindset, and how they parallel that with Vaggie wanting to protect Charlie, I think that was brilliant. This episode did a good job at making me like Carmilla in record time. (Also yeah, I can't unhear Mirabel in Vaggie's singing voice, sorry)
-And finally, ALASTOR! He was PERFECT as always! I loved his dynamic with the Egg Boiz so much, how he didn't complain about them following him and instead used them to his advantage, as if they were his own little minions....! LuckylittlethingsWHATIMEAN How he kept a cool head through the whole episode was great, him chatting up Zestial was great, him going "Ooh, tasty!" at the severed angel head was great, and then when we cut to him and he's ACTUALLY TASTING IT- PFFFFFFFFF X/////D And then there's his "SHALL WE?" which I don't even need to talk about cuz....y-you already know how I feel about when he does stuff like that....
Also he has a swamp in his room-
He has a SWAMP in his ROOM-
......A-anyway, time for the last episode, here we goooooo-

Task From Heaven
Hazbin Hotel x Angel!Reader
Post Hazbin Hotel Season 1
The reader is an angel from heaven tasked by the Heavenly Courtroom to aid the Hazbin Hotel and its goal on rehabilitating Sinners.
Part 2
You sit on the edge of your bed, admiring the decor and wondering just how much red could be used before it became too much.
The red carpets, bed covers, and wallpapers stare at you.
Apparently not a lot for an angel like you and a lot for Hell. Just another thing you’d have to get used to, alongside the heat, smell, and the people.
A rapid knock comes to your door but before you can get up to answer the knocker bursts into the door instead. You blink in surprise as the princess comes to view, a smile spread across her rosy cheeks.
“Y/N! Hey, so sorry to just bust through in like this but—” she takes a moment to skip in place, squealing quietly to herself. “Ooh, I’m just so excited! To think that Heaven finally sees what I’m trying to do here is just— so, darn, exciting!”
You smile, unsure of what else you could do.
“Oh, sorry!” The princess gasps, bringing a hand to mouth as she takes in your blank expression. “I didn’t mean to ramble. I just wanted to see how you were settling in!”
Your smile turns into something a little closer to sincerity. “It’s very kind of you to give me a room of my own.”
Charlie’s rosy cheeks turns even rosier at the praise. “Oh, it’s the least we could do.” She looks at you for a second, brimming with joy. “I’m just so— so… happy you’re helping out at the hotel. I still can’t believe that Heaven is helping us out.” She guffaws.
“Of course, your highness. Sinners are still human souls, no matter how tainted. It’s Heaven’s responsibility to still treat them with the care we hold for the rest of Father’s creations.”
Charlie’s face flickers, her once joyful attitude turning to something more bitter. The sudden change in emotion makes you tilt your head, but she then takes a deep breath.
“You don’t have to call me ‘your highness’. Call me Charlie! Everyone does.”
You blink. To refer to such a high status individual by their first name? Well, who were you to tell her what she should be called or not.
In a way, Charlie reminds you a bit of Emily. Their insistence on the redemption of Sinners and cheerful attitude draws a lot of parallels that make you homesick.
“I believe that it’s time to introduce everyone to you! Since— you know, you’re now a part of the Hazbin Hotel.”
“Yes, that would be wise. It’d do good to know who I’ll be working with.”
Charlie beams.
Soon everyone is gathered at the parlour, waiting in silence as Charlie begins introductions. Charlie first slings an arm over the long haired woman who glowers at you. “This is Vaggie! Say hi,” she says the last bit towards Vaggie, noticing the scowl on her face and rubbing her cheek against hers. Vaggie noticeably softens at the touch. Cute.
“Hi.” Vaggie says, arms crossing. Her distrust reveals itself through her taut shoulders and hard expression. Charlie chuckles nervously at the tone as she moves on to a man with spider-like features.
“This is our only resident at the moment,” something mournful crosses her eyes. You remember that the other resident is in Heaven and wonder what’s there to be sad about? The sombreness is quickly vanquished, with her face lighting back up at full force. “Angel Dust.”
The man flashes a coy smile and a wave at you. “Heyya, baby.” His expression is flirtatious but you notice that he is just as tense as Vaggie.
“These are Husk and Niffty, employees at the hotel.” The ruffled cat doesn’t even signify you with a greeting except a slight tilt of his head as he gives you a scrutinizing look.
You look for the one-eyed woman that Charlie referred to as Niffty but she is nowhere to be seen, and it’s not because she’s short. Your eyes land on Charlie’s wide eyes when you feel something crawling up your back. A quick glance reveals that Niffty is on your shoulder trying to touch your halo.
“Niffty, no!” Charlie quickly snatches her off your shoulders, flashing you a nervous grin as she hands off the squirming Sinner to Vaggie. “I am sooo sorry, I—”
You put a quiet hand up to silence her and flash her a polite smile. “It’s alright. No harm done here.” Your placating response calms Charlie down just a bit as she turns to the last person who had been standing at the back for quite some time now.
“And this is Alastor, our host to the hotel.” Charlie proudly states, smiling at the other. “Without him, none of this would have been possible.”
Alastor smiles at you, a wide smile that couldn’t possibly be sincere, as he materializes in front of you in a vapour of black static. “What a pleasure to have an angel in our cohorts! To think that Heaven is actually taking an interest in Charlie’s unique dream is bringing me such delight.”
The way his eyes scan over you makes you feel uneasy. There’s a certain calculating gleam that you know that often ends in something sinister. You swallow down your suspicion and give him back a cordial smile.
“And I’m Y/N. It’s a pleasure to be of your acquaintance.” You look to the group. “I hope that we can all get along.”
“Likewise.” Alastor’s voice gleefully crackles in response whilst the others stare awkwardly at you, not quite knowing what else there is to say. Charlie looks on happily.
Introductions have gone pretty great, all things considered.

Lute, as an angel, was probably one of Mammon's prized possessions, talented hellborns? There's a lot of them, but an exorcist jester? That's worth so much!
So since apparently you would accept to do free commissions, I ask if you would accept to do an art of Adam showing his true power to Mammon, in the process showing to everyone that no, the Fall haven't weakened him, to get him to back off from Lute and letting her go.
Kind of a parallel of Ozzie being ready to square up to protect Fizz.
It would definitely be key in Lute's love for Adam I think, and why she accept his character flaws.
Also, I hope you will keep the more fun and unhinged side of Lute's relationship with Adam.
Because despite being the serious one of the two, she's just as unhinged as him, more actually, and they're both just as willing to get into music and be each other's hype persons, while Charlie and Vaggie are extremely sweet and more wholesome and calm, Lute and Adam are on the same wavelength, and beside Adam's hook ups and things like what happened with 666 news, I see them absolutely vibing in both chill and crazy moments.
For example, unlike Vaggie, they would say the "trust exercises" thing in perfect sync.
I also love the idea of Velvette hoping Lute is actually a stable-ish person only to be horrified by seeing how she's as much of a crazy bitch as Adam is a crazy bastard, the main difference being that Lute being younger, less powerful and used not to be treated with much deference (unlike Adam thanks to being the First Man) allow her to be professional.
Honestly, if you also are willing to do an art of this too, I would be so glad.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tada! been working on it all day. I forgot to let Lute have a say in things but she sends mammon an FU letter latter so it's all good...

I've seen a lot of people speculating why Alastor was so immediately pissed off at Lucifer. Some people think that Licifer reminds Alastor of his dad, so he was uncomfortable with him on principle. Others think that Alastor and Lilith have a deal, or were in contact with each other, and Lilith convinced Alastor to dislike Lucifer. Some believe that Alastor is egotistical and was upset at Lucifer immediately dismissing him.
Me personally?
Well I think that scene is an example of Hazbin's biggest flaws.
I've noticed that Hazbin has this problem of putting the cart before the horse, so to speak. I honestly think Hazbin works better when you rewatch the show, with the knowledge of future events. And not in a good, not in a "oh I understand this character's motivation now!" Kind of way.
Watching Hazbin for the first time can be confusing because a lot of time a scene will happen and you'll have no idea why the characters are acting the way that they are.
The first example is Vaggie's and Carmilla's duet in episode 2. It doesn't really make sense because you don't really know Carmilla, so hearing her sing an emotional song doesn't really make sense. Having her duet with Vaggie is even weirder because these two characters have never interacted before, so you're not even sure if they know each other.
(The song also doesn't work because it's about doing whatever you can to protect your loved ones, even doing things you don't want to do, but Vaggie hasn't really done anything that betrays her morals for Charlie, so it comes across as a little weird. Though this is a part of a different criticism I have for Hazbin.)
But after watching episode 7, the duet makes sense know. You can appreciate their dynamic because you better understand their thematic parallels.
Another example is in episode 4, when Husk starts singing he's a loser and that he and Angel are the same. This really caught me off guard the first time I watched it, because, like, Angel is being sexually and physically abused, and Husk just have to be a bar tender. Besides forcing him to be there, Alastor isn't really forcing Husk to do anything he doesn't want to do, hell, he doesn't even force Husk to do physical labor because he has his shadows to do that.
So the sing feels like emotional pay off, without really seeing that Husk and Angel are actually exactly alike, no really.
Until episode 5 comes out and you see Alastor treat Husk like a pet and even physically threatens him when Husk talks back a little bit.
I firmly believe that we should have gotten this scene before, or at least during, episode 4. It would establish to the audience that both Valentino and Alastor don't see Angel and Husk as human beings, but instead just a toy/pet. Then the song "Loser Baby" would make more sense.
(Honesty I would change quite a bit about episode 4, but yet again, there's another criticism for another day.)
So Alastor's instant animosity towards Lucifer feels like another one of those "pay off before set up" moments, where in the future we're going to get a scene that makes that scene feel more natural.

GUYS I'VE OFFICIALLY LOST IT-
So. Awhile ago, I saw this post, right? Basically it just said that Sera and Sir Pentious' cards have very similar compositions, and that Seraphim, which is what Sera is, are often associated with serpents. Interesting, but could still be a coincidence, right?
So anyways I checked the reblogs and saw somebody say they should kiss. And now I'm insane.
Because like... the only thing we know really about Sir Pentious' potential story arc in the show is that he's gonna have a crush on one of the other characters. And the only thing confirmed about his sexuality(to my knowledge) is that he is attracted to women. We don't really have any way to know who his crush is, because there are a lot of women in Hazbin Hotel, but could still be noteworthy, right? And like... okay this is gonna sound like the most "trust me, bro" evidence I could possibly pull out of my ass at first but I just need you to hear me out here, okay? Sera's crown and Sir Pentious' hat have a lot of visual similarities. Here's a helpful diagram :)

Which like. Okay. Could literally be nothing, right? Except for two small things that I can't let go of: One, Sir Pentious' goggles + the v-shaped brim on his hat were added to his design AFTER he was given a more prominent role in the show-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Pilot design, back when he was meant to be a one-off villain of the week vs current design as a member of the main cast)
And two, the Hellaverse shows kind of have a tendancy to use visuals in order to signify characters' relationships to eachother. It's also just a pretty popular form of symbolism as a whole tbh, but the Hellaverse has a lot of really good examples. Like, for instance, how Vaggie's new outfit is a lot closer to Charlie's color pallette than any of her previous designs, or this really good breakdown by @/raeynbowboi about the symbolism of hearts in Hazbin Hotel and how they pertain to Angel Dust/his relationships! It's from awhile ago so some of the info is a tad outdated, but overall I do think the analysis holds up. Meanwhile, in Helluva Boss, Moxxie and Millie have basically the same color pallette and they were the most functional relationship in the entire show before before Fizzmodeus came along. Which, speaking of those two...
Tumblr media
See, I made this diagram because, after I pointed out the similarities between Sera and Sir Pentious' headgear to my dad and asked him if those kinds of similarities were a valid form of analysis(because I am but a humble highschooler that doesn't know everything about media analysis, and also I felt like I was losing my mind-), my dad said that I should look at the creator's(Vivziepop's) other works to see if couples having similar motifs was a recurring theme. So obviously, I picked my favorite couple in either show and disected their designs for every little detail that could maybe possibly be an intentional parallel. And while some of it is kind of iffy, like Fizz's limbs being the same kind of blue as Ozzie's tufts could just be a way to show that Ozzie made them, or both of them having uh, two things sticking off of their head(that one's definitely a reach-), I think stuff like both of them having hearts as a recurring detail in their designs or having lITERALLY THE SAME EYE COLOR??? Are pretty good evidence that Viv/the Hellaverse design team tend to use visuals to signify characters relationships.
ALSO!!!! If the Fallen Angel Vaggie theory ends up being true, there could be some interesting parallels to draw between Chaggie and Sera/Sir Pentious! Something about like... demon royalty/random angel vs angel royalty/random demon. Could be used to draw parallels between how the two societies treat that kind of thing idk.
So, now that all the meta evidence is out of the way, we can get down to what really matters: would these two work as a couple? Do their personalities mesh well togther? And the answer to that is!
Tumblr media
IM SORRY FOR USING THE GIF IT WAS A GOOD JOKE IN MY HEAD BUT TYPING THIS OUT IDK IF IT'S ACTUALLY FUNNY-
But in all seriousness, I don't actually know. We just... haven't seen enough of Sera to know for sure. In fact, this whole theory is based off of small details that definitely add up to SOMETHING, but could very well be pieces to some very different puzzles that I'm trying to shove together because somebody jokingly suggested that they would fit. Like, the parallels really COULD mean something, and it COULD have something to do with Sir Pentious having a crush on another character, but like. There could also be a million other answers to both of those questions, y'know? I also have a tendancy to make wild conspiracy theories about genuinely inconsequential details... I almost never talk about them publically, but still. Though I will say, based off of Sera's description in the leaks, I could definitely see a world where she bounces off of Sir Pentious pretty well. Her description in the leaks very much gave me uh... Isabela cover of Surface Pressure vibes, y'know? Shit that is- that is a weird way to describe that but most people on here have seen Encanto right? Y'all get it? And Sir Pentious is both a Victorian Gentleman Type and completely unhinged. Like... idk there's something there. I could maybe see it working. But at the end of the day, it's just too early to tell.
That being said I WILL be trying to pump out some fanart of these two before the actual show comes out and crushes my crackshipping dreams. Also their ship name is either SeraPentious or PentSera I can't decide.
Edit: Wait a second... SeraPent. Serpent. PUN!!!!!!!!!! Okay I think I'm going with SeraPent-

Carmilla Carmine, an Angel?
(Warning for spoilers under the cut)
So I noticed two things instantly about Carmilla during her introduction in Scrambled Eggs. 1) She has the same exact color scheme as the Exorcists/Vaggie/the Seraphim (Grey skin with white hair), the only real difference in her colors to them, is her red demon eyes. 2) How she's immediately set up as a parallel to Vaggie
This doesn't seem like a lot to go on, but hear me out, what if Carmilla is a former angel just like Lucifer?
Those two things aren't my only reasons for thinking so, but they did lead me down a bit of a rabbit hole in regards to a few things about her and the only other true angels in hell. First of all, Carmilla, when she's singing Whatever It Takes with Vaggie, talks about protecting what's most important. But Carmilla refers to herself as her daughter's 'keeper'. I feel like this is a deliberate choice because of Cain and Able. Cain, after he kills able, very specifically tells god 'I am not my brother's keeper', aka, 'I am not responsible for him'. But Carmilla names herself her daughter's protector, that she is responsible for them and takes responsibility for keeping them safe when killing the Exorcist. This is also a contrast to Vaggie, who calls herself Charlie's *Armor*. Also to protect Charlie and keep her safe, but not take wholesale responsibility for her the way being her Keeper would be.
Another interesting thing to note about Whatever It Takes, Carmilla very specifically said she never wanted a fight. She 'crossed the line' solely to keep her daughters safe, though she mentions a genuine affection for Zestial as well. She also goes on to say that she has no idea who would survive the fight if they went into all out war with Heaven, and she does seem very concern about the number of sinners because of how that effects the Overlords. Seems like strange personality choices for an arms dealer considering it's her supplies that allow people to murder each other without restraint, but it does make sense when you compare her to Charlie, Vaggie, and Lucifer. Obviously demons can choose to care for others, as shown with Alastor and Rosie, and the playful banter between Zestial and Alastor, but Carmilla is very specific to what she believes in and who she loves and how she willing she is to care for others. Just like the other people we know for sure are angelic in nature; Charlie consistently crosses the line for her friends, Vaggie chose to cross the line for an Exorcist by allowing a child demon to live, and the entire reason Hell and Charlie exist in the first place is because Lucifer crossed the line in the first place.
Case in point, my next point about the further parallel between Vaggie and Carmille during Out For Love. We saw earlier during the trust exercise that Vaggie is extremely militaristic, and Carmilla shows the same hardcore sink or swim mentality. Demons can fight, obviously, we've seen it. Most of the demons we see however use guns or fight with magical abilities rather than actual martial arts, so it stands out that Carmilla does. It stands out more that she's a military woman. We do see Sir Pentitious take an active role as a military commander, but it's played more for laughs because a lot of his tactics are either ineffective or kind of silly (even his sacrifice is somewhat played for laughs (even though his friends take it deadly serious (as they should that's Good Writing))). Carmilla on the other hand is taken deadly serious as both a business woman and an arms dealer by the narrative even those Velvette tries to disrespect her. Carmilla further demonstrates her military mentality when she lets Vaggie in, but maintains control of the situation by telling Vaggie she has 'two minutes' and constantly reminds her of how little time she has. In fact she actively chooses to train Vaggie to fight by attacking her and explaining how stupidly angels fight after the fact. She even goes out of her way to get on Vaggie's level when she states she's never fought with long hair before, by letting her own hair down and still kicking the shit out of her. This is practically a trope in of itself that damaged former military types, especially those who worked for the enemy, are like that to the heroes.
(Also sidenote, Carmilla adopting Vaggie as her own when???)
And my earlier point about Carmilla choosing to fight for love, and how that makes her different, is also quite literally restated and reinforced by the song Out For Love. She tells Vaggie to dig deep and use her love and desire to keep her loved ones safe, her fear of losing them, as fuel to make her stronger and better and ends the song by Vaggie regrowing her wings. Which is fascinating to me because the other characters we see get actively stronger when they're fighting for the people they love and care for are Charlie and Lucifer.
Carmilla also does something very interesting during this scene that really stuck with me; She point blank stated that she already knew Vaggie was a former Exorcist. Literally no other character realized this, or even implied that they knew. I kind of find her reasons to be bullshit as well? 'You have an x over your eye', which we know for a fact that Exorcists have real faces under their masks and don't actually have X's for eyes. Vaggie got that after she lost hers and, well we haven't seen other demons lose limbs and how they handle that, it was very interesting that she stated that as one of the reasons. The other reason is even dumber 'You're carrying an angelic spear'. Carmilla you are literally an angelic weapon arms dealer. So, clearly, she had to have been able to guess what Vaggie.
(Another thing that really struck me is that we only hear Spanish out of two characters so far; Carmilla and Vaggie. This isn't really an indicator that Carmilla is an angel, considering we don't hear a lot of Spanish in Heaven, but with all this other stuff I Am Thinking About It.)
So, if I'm right, what is Carmilla doing in hell? And what's with her daughters? That point I think has to do with Zestial. Whether or not Zestial is actually fucking Carmilla (and the two of them would have good taste if they were- I am definitely shipping it) and is the father of Odette and Clara is irrelevant (but I like to think it is true), what is relevant, is how much trust and faith Carmilla places in him and how long they've known each other.
Carmilla is definitely a demon, angels don't have red eyes like she does as far as we can tell. Lucifer does have red eyes, but it's entirely possible he only got those after he fell. And he didn't become a demon willingly, he was forced into it, so only his irises are red. Carmilla, with her loyalty, her willingness to do whatever it takes, and her friendship with Zestial, I think she actively chose to become a demon and that's why all of her eyes are red. It's also stated that Sinner demons can't reproduce, only those Hellborn can have children, and we don't know if Angels can have their own children or not, but I assume 'yes' for now. So the two daughters Carmilla has? I think they're like Charlie with one caveat; Charlie was born after Lucifer and Lilith fell, I think Carmilla was pregnant with her daughters when she fell. I think she got pregnant, realized Heaven would either harm her daughters (if I'm right and Zestial is their father), or they would take her daughters away from her and throw her into hell without them. So she made the choice to walk away and seek a safe(r) haven in Hell. She made the mistakes to keep them safe, to keep the secret.
Whether I'm right or wrong on this, I'm very eager to see more of Carmilla she's already a personal fav of mine.

Hazbin Hotel opinion question: do you think Lute being captured at the end of episode 8 instead of retreating would be an interesting AU?
I ABSOLUTELY DO.
It hadn't even crossed my mind but wowww that opens up so much.
She'd obviously be super pissy about it and, I reckon she'd make some decent escape attempts (if its lucifer's magic holding her back though there's no chance).
The metaphorical removal of her wings by capturing her plays so nicely into her paralleling Vaggie. I reckon after she calms down a bit Charlie would probably pity her enough to try and help her, like with Vaggie.
From there you could branch off into Lute tricking Charlie in order to escape. Lute tricking Charlie but staying in hell, biding her time to betray them during an extermination or Lute playing an even longer game.
Lute could also genuinely become a better person (I think that would take even more effort than making Adam a good person but hey, anythings possible) then get sent back up to heaven not even by her own will but just because she's been 'redeemed'. I say that lightly because I'm taking it by being captured you mean there's no point at which she actually falls, but Lute isn't exactly the poster child of Heaven so despite not falling, there's still room to improve.
Lute could also opt to ignore Charlie/ try to antagonise from inside whatever cell she's in. There could be a constant theme of Charlie being nothing but kind and and Lute refusing to give in. (What's that? The sin of Pride?)
You could even have Lute being completely antagonistic to Charlie and Vaggie but its one of the sinners that help her, she's not used to being put in her place so somebody that does that and responds to her firmly? (From here I'd probably make that Angel given her insulting rant about him in heaven, but it could reasonably be others).
I'm sure there's a million other ways this could be handled but to me the most important thing to get down would be the character dynamics. Vaggie and Lute clearly have a rocky past even before she tore her wings off, but having Vaggie feel sorry for Lute rather than be angry could show how she's grown as a person ect. Charlie could end up in conflict with herself between wanting to help and wanting justice (a solid way to explore her morals). I'm sure Alastor would be having the time of his life watching an angel be so pathetic.
Lucifer is a whole other bag but whatever it'd be would certainly have to play into both his heaven based trauma and his desire to protect.
Though, all of this assumes she's captured by the hotel crew and not some other ill meaning overlords, I mean, imagine how much you could sell an Angel for. (With that though I reckon unless it was someone quite high up the power ladder that she'd just escape and kill them.)
Ty for the ask!!!! This got rambly but in short, yeah an AU like that has so many possibilities that I dont think you could go wrong. I'd enjoy reading any one of the hypotheticals I've mentioned, or others since I've certainly not covered everything. =)

Little Emily
>:3
UGH, STOP.
Emily is just too pure for this world, LITERALLY. SHES IN HEAVEN. I love her so much, and I can’t wait to see where Viv goes with her character. I’d love to see the parallel of Charlie, Vaggie, and Emily as Lilith, Luci, and Eve. BUT ANYWAY.
She’s a feathery little cutie pie. Ik she’d be very dependent, always needing a caregiver. She’s probably toddler age, maybe a bit younger. However, she doesn’t like seeming to young as she hates being treated like a child when big, and that can stem into when little.
HOWEVER. Once she’s down, she’s down. She loves anything soft and fluffy, like clouds are just her whole aesthetic. I can see her having a little cloud plushy named Raine or Cotton.
She would also try to help with anything and everything. This little girl is so kind, and she loves being a good seraphim. So, she’ll more than likely try to help with cooking, cleaning, even with other littles. Sure, she needs supervision when doing this, but it’s okay! Let her help >:(
Anyway, prob gonna do a one shot on her when I get through my inbox a little more. Debating whether or not Sera should care for her or if she should be down in Hell, as in fallen. And if so, who should care for her?
Ideas would be appreciated!

// spoilers, some thots, differences between canon and my worldbuilding. adhd style rambling.
- Contrary to like, the pilot and Alastor comic, there was a lot less of Alastor terrifying the shit out of everyone with his presence. I wonder if this is because the people he's seen interacting with are a) The hotel peeps, who are largely a self-selecting group of people who are okay interacting with him, and b) other overlords. Anyway, "almost everyone is terrified of Alastor and he is deeply lonely" is still a very important part of this blog and his development and I'm not changing it.
- Alexa is not an overlord. I'm pretty sure that the team (or Viv?) had said that Alastor wasn't a proper Overlord because he doesn't hold territory, but he's very powerful. Not sure if the series will clarify further or if they've decided he's an overlord. Alexa will continue to not be an Overlord. He controls radio as a mechanism and has the only radio tower in the area but he doesn't control actual territory.
- I was expecting Vaggie and Alastor to butt heads way more haha! Vaggie was not malding as much as I expected!
- I had really hoped to see more Alastor/Angel chaos interaction, especially because we got some fun stuff out of the Hunicast. They seem to get along okay. Though it looks like Angel + Husk are getting pretty chummy and Husk has beef with Alastor
(and they like... paralleled Alastor to Valentino? Which is INSANE to me... listen Alastor sucks as a person, and having his freak ass own your soul can't be fun, but there is a MASSIVE difference between the circumstances that had Husk sign over his soul and Angel sign over his soul. Like one is overlord-on-overlord violence and the other is, like, exploitation of structural violence at minimum. "I'll make you a star, I'll make you rich" etc etc. And there's a MASSIVE difference between the abuse & control that Val does and Alastor doing Diet Labor Trafficking by voluntelling Husk as a bartender.)
so I do wonder in canon how Angel and Alastor COULD be friends if the implied parallel is Husk (or anyone) befriending Valentino. Girl that is insane.
Whatever, I am on the radiodust train until I mf die, Alastor/Angel besties train, chaos friends, I think the funniest possible development on this blog is that (after canonically pulling up to the hotel and being like "girl you are delulu. This is a dumpster fire. and I want front row seats" and Vaggie was like "this freak is going to ruin this project") that he clown tax evasion married the ONE RESIDENT. They went "we could make each other worse. we could make all of this worse" (they did not make each other worse but hell certainly suffers when they open their mouths)
- I've talked extensively in the past on this blog about abuse and how Local Alastor thinks a situation like Angel's should be handled and it's not like how Charlie does Lmao bless her.
- I thought it was so funny that Alastor was like "now I have to go to the tailor" bitch your coat was already raggedy and you came back with a raggedy ass coat.
- Also... Alastor behaved a lot more than I thought he would? He was pretty down to do the job of disposing of the egg bois, even humanely, like he didn't really put up too many fights! Idk he was a behaved manager. I think he is having a good time at the hotel. I love that for his freak ass
- I love how him doing freaky ass facial expressions/lighting is mostly like, Something He Does and most of everyone just kind of accepts it. He really is out here saying wild shit too. "I pulled some limbs too. Hahaha!" lmao yesss Alexa randomly saying morbid ass shit bc he didn't think it through how it comes off was definitely a Thing that's happened and will continue to happen.

I think Velvet and Niffty would be better foils/parallels to each other than Velvet and Charlie. They both died in the 50's but one has a "stuck" mentality (much like Alastor) and the other has a more open-minded approach (like Vox). They both were also coddled by their friends b/c they're the cute little girls in the group, but Velvet was occasionally invasive and targeted for revenge while Niffty is seen handling herself. Just my thoughts based off the IG's and pilot!
I remember someone making a post a while ago about how Alastor parallels Vox, Niffty parallels Velvet, and Husker parallels Valentino (by being into Angel). I thought that was interesting, though I think Vaggie parallels more with Valentino.
Now I kind of wish the instagrams hadn’t gone down because I hadn’t been following them in a while and I didn’t think they’d ever go down. So I can’t go to the instas to look for evidence anymore. But I agree, they would be great foils to each other, and I hope we see them interact at some point.
Thank you for the ask.

So with Hazbin Hotel finally releasing in just a couple more months, I thought I’d talk about what might be the biggest underlying question a lot of us have:
How much, if any, crossover will there by with Helluva Boss?
Now to start with, despite Blitzo and Moxxie having originated conceptually as side-characters/villains in Hazbin, I think we should NOT be expecting any kind of major or even minor appearances of I.M.P. in Hazbin Hotel. And frankly, I think that’s a GOOD thing. These two shows really should be allowed to stand on their own without relying on any kind of crossover/cameo appeal. Not to mention that these two casts of characters don’t really have much reason to cross over, given that they occupy pretty different circles. Like just the fact almost all of Hazbin’s cast (human Sinners) are confined to the Pride Ring of Hell while Helluva’s cast are often traveling between the various rings and even going to Earth kind of limits the potential points of interaction. All in all, despite how much many of us might hope for it, I think we should be expecting appearances from the I.M.P. crew in Hazbin Hotel. Though barring one, VERY SPECIFIC possible scenario I’ll dive into later.
Instead, the potential crossover between these two shows that I’m actually very curious about comes not from Helluva’s main characters, but rather from some of the supporting cast.
Specifically, I’m very curious if we’ll get cameos from the other Sins.
Because whereas Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie or even Stolas run in entirely different societal circles than either Charlie or the Sinners she’s trying to help, with the Sins it’s an entirely different situation.
Not only are the other Kings of Sin we’ve met the fellow rulers of Hell alongside Lucifer, we’ve also gotten implications that they do see each other more or less as family. Which by extension, could very well mean they are family to Charlie as well. Basically, Ozzie, Bee, Mammon and the rest could absolutely be presented as Charlie’s aunts, uncles or cousins, depending on whether Lucifer is an ‘older brother’ or outright ‘father’ to the group as a whole.
Which all taken together means that the Sins actually have all the reason to make an appearance or two in Hazbin. Like we know from the trailers that we’re going to have a flashback to Charlie’s childhood of her spending time with her father. Imagine how cool it would be if said flashback included a couple cameos from the other Sins?
Obviously I don’t think we should expect Asmodeus, Beelzebub or any of the rest to be any kind of major recurring presence in Hazbin Hotel, especially when we consider that the vast majority of the action of Hazbin is going to be locked to the Pride ring. But it does feel very natural or even outright necessary to the narrative that they make an occasional appearance. Particularly when we consider that it’s pretty much inevitable that Hazbin dives into the backstory of Lucifer, Lilith and the creation of Hell as a whole, at which point it would be pretty weird if the other sins DIDN’T show up in some major capacity, especially if they are indeed fallen angels like Lucifer.
And of course I think we can all agree that it would be pretty awesome just to see any of the Sins show up in an episode of Hazbin, even if whatever they’re doing is largely unrelated to the events of Helluva Boss. Like imagine an episode or arc where Charlie and Vaggie have a big argument, and Charlie ends up getting advice from ‘Uncle Ozzie’? Like even if you haven’t seen Helluva Boss, the idea of Charlie getting relationship advice from the King and Embodiment of LUST is hilariously surreal on its own, but the fact that it would almost certainly be actually GOOD advice just makes it funnier. While those who have seen Helluva can appreciate, among other things, the parallels between Charlie’s relationship with Vaggie and Asmodeus’s relationship with Fizzerolli.
Now with that all being said, as I alluded to earlier there is ONE specific scenario where I can see the I.M.P. crew making AN appearance in Hazbin Hotel:
Given the fact that Blitzo and Moxxie did originate as Hazbin side-characters, I do think it wouldn’t be surprising if we got an episode of the show meant to pay tribute to this fact. Basically have an episode where Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie and Loona show up as one-off pseudo-villains as an episode-long ‘in-joke’ referencing the origins of Helluva Boss and giving the team a chance to give an idea as to what Blitzo’s and Moxxie’s original roll in Hazbin would have been.
Say, Charlie and co. are dealing with a sinner who is particularly fixated/obsessed with ‘unfinished business’/grudge from their life with Charlie trying to get them to let go of that grudge by convincing them there just isn’t anything they can do about it from Hell. Cue perhaps Angel Dust ‘helpfully’ mentioning that he’s heard of some people who do exactly that, or perhaps simply a rather familiar jingle can suddenly be heard over a nearby TV, and we’re off to the races.
Again, more or less doing an homage to what Blitzo and Moxxie likely would have originally been doing as Hazbin side-characters.

The end? When Charlie succeeds...
Tumblr media
Charlie succeeds with the hotel and she and Vaggie go to Heaven, married. Lucifer and Lilith stay in Hell to rule it, but Charlie is allowed to visit them for half the year. Charlie uses her demon and angel powers to spread cheer to both realms…and someday hopes to extend good influence to Earth and/or other worlds (which would be Vaggie’s job). Charlie becomes a gatekeeper for both worlds, teaching lessons about kindness and not judging others to both realms. Husk, Niffty, Baxter, and the others stay in Hell (doing their own thing but staying friends) for a while and once they redeemed themselves, they go to Heaven in their human forms with new memories.
Acheron: principal river of Tartarus where Charon ferries souls to Hell.
Nine Circles of Hell (Dante’s Inferno)
First Circle: Limbo, resided by virtuous non-Christians and unbaptized pagans who are punished with eternity in an inferior form of Heaven. They live in a castle with seven gates which symbolize the seven virtues.
Second Circle: Lust, souls are blown back and forth in a violent storm, preventing them from finding peace and rest.
Third Circle: Gluttony, live and lie in freezing slush produced by icy rain, guarded by Cerebrus.
Fourth Circle: Thieves, Greedy, hoarders versus spenders: forced to push heavy rocks, realm guarded by Hades/Pluto
Fifth Circle: Wrath, bad tempered, fight each other on the River Styx. Sullen gurgle beneath the water.
City of Dis: sixth through ninth circles
Sixth Circle: Criminals, heretics, flaming tombs. Natural resources/nature and human labor/art were seen to be the only two legitimate sources of wealth.
Seventh Circle: Violence, psychopaths, suicide, boiling blood lake:
Outer Ring: houses murderers, tyrants, plunderers, immersed in boiling lake of blood, while centaurs shoot at them.
Middle Ring: those who committed suicide are turned into trees and fed upon by harpies. The wasteful are chased and torn to pieces by dogs.
Inner Ring: houses those against God and Nature and Art, a great plain of burning sand and burning rain
Eighth Circle: Sorcerers, Fraud, Liars and Thieves, pit of darkness, beaten by demons. Divided by 10 stony ditches.
Bolgia 1: indulgers and seducers, eternally whipped by demons
Bolgia 2: flatterers, steeped in excrement and fight themselves
Bolgia 3: Those who sell church offices/sacred things. They’re placed head downwards in tube holes with their feet burned
Bolgia 4: sorcerers and false prophets. Their heads are twisted backward so they can’t see what’s ahead of them.
Bolgia 5: corrupt politicians, immersed in tar, guarded by demons who tear them with claws and hooks.
Bolgia 6: hypocrites, weighted down in leaden flashy robes along a narrow track.
Bolgia 7: thieves, bitten by snakes and reptiles.
Bolgia 8: evil advisors, fraud counselors in flames.
Bolgia 9: hostile people, sowers of discord and war, hacked and torn apart by a demon wielding a sword
Bolgia 10: falsifiers, alchemists, untruthful ones in court, counterfeits. They suffer from hunger, thirst, disease, etc.
 Central Wall guarded by giants
Ninth Circle: Treachery: Lake of ice, Satan, residents frozen in an icy lake. Satan having three heads, chewing on traitors.
Round 1: Traitors to family
Round 2: Traitors to country
Round 3: Traitors to guests
Round 4: traitors to lords
Hazbin Hotel is located in a lost Tenth Circle of Hell, closest to portals to Earth, Heaven, purgatory and paradise. Only imps and Lucifer and powerful demons can travel between worlds and/or Circles. Circle 10 is the realm of Illusion. It’s the only place where sinners can enjoy themselves in their sins of drinking, gambling, sex etc. living lives like they did as humans. However, the demons still suffer from violence, assault and the evils of society behind the pop culture glamor and media (illusions). Those who can redeem themselves can go to Heaven (at least after Charlie helped to dismantle the elitist system of Heaven). Lucifer was sent to this realm instead of the lake of ice due to his previous service to God and the angels, but it was still banishment.
Nine Circles of Heaven (Dante’s Paradiso)
First Sphere: (The Moon) souls who failed to keep their vows
Second Sphere: (Mercury) souls who were just and righteous but were driven by ambition
Third Sphere: (Venus) lovers who earned their place with their love of God and humanity
Fourth Sphere: (The Sun) crown of wise men
Fifth Sphere: (Mars) holy warriors whose souls form the shape of a cross
Sixth Sphere: (Jupiter) souls of just rulers who form an eagle
Seventh Sphere (Saturn) souls who dedicated themselves to prayer, climbing up and down a golden ladder.
Eight Sphere (Fixed Stars) Biblical saints test Dante (Italian writer) on faith, love and hope.
Ninth Sphere: (Primum Mobile) bright light surrounded by nine circles of angels around God at the center.
Empyrean: beyond space and time
Just as Hazbin Hotel (goal to redeem sinners) is located in the 10th Circle of Hell, Haven Hotel (goal to encourage moderate sin for self-freedom) is located in a lost Sphere of Heaven, a realm of the Outer Planets (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) as well as the Sphere of Delusion (parallel to Hazbin’s Circle of Illusion.) Here, everything seems grand and perfect, but the society is filled with deception and hidden truths.
Robotic versions of 2p characters are created to help out the worlds of Hell. Charlie complains they are not the same as the friends she knows. Angel Dust 2 goes to the Lust Second Circle. Husk 2 goes to the Third Circle of Gluttony. Baxter 2 goes to the Fourth Circle of Wealth. Alastor 2 goes to the Eighth Circle. Vaggie 2 and Cherri Bomb 2 go to the Wrath Fifth Circle. Lucifer 2 and Lilith 2 go to the Ninth Circle. Katie 2 and Sir Pentious 2 goes to the Seventh Circle. Niffty 2 goes to the Third Circle. They represent the sins of their original models. The robotic versions are there to help out until the real characters can arrive in Heaven.
