Wished they were taken more seriously, but won't deny some of their episode were my favorites by far (especially OP T.R.I.P). Less because of the gags they thrown them in, but rather we do finally see glimpses of their own personalities cause up until then there rlly wasnt much on them besides them failing and falling out a whole damn window all the time xxbdj honestly, that calls into question how resistant these guys are holy shit

The sister(if anyone got any name suggestions for them plz tell so I can steal them too/j), is fed UP, and I love her for it, cause with the amount of shit she's face i'd go fucking insane too. I vote we should give her gun, all her problems would be solved/j but actually, i enjoy that she's a little shit, impulsive, arrogant, etc, but i think it kinda stems from a fear of failure because how else would they've been known as father's bestest spies? Sector V had knocked down a pedestal, and that fucks with her head, but then their failures began to pile up and now she's becoming increasingly desperate to prove that she's still somehow #1– in turn she because implusive, impatient, etc. Sbe 100% cares for her brother, so at the same time she feels like she's dragging him down, it all piles on. Maybe a vaca would do her some good.

The brother, I absolutely adore him – tbh I adore both of them equally. He seems more like the younger of the two in terms of personality, we seem always following his sister's lead despite how irrational it could be. His loyalty and compassion to her is something that kinda pushes him to being my fav twin spot, cuz well im a sucker for good brother characters. And despite his more "softer" attuide compared to his sister's, they're both evil and flawed equally on the same level ‐ mo manipulation or pressure(well kind), nah-da. As the brother is just as implusive, selfish, and arrogant, but he hasn't let their failure get to his head just yet – in turn, he has more clearer head than his sister, so he ends becoming a voice of reason than a leader.

It's pretty popular theory that they're delightful, which is something I think about a LOT when it comes to their characters. And a bit more headcanon here: their non-delightful selves are still conscious, as to me(inspired heavily by my SS au with a friend), being delightful serves as just a filter for kids. Kinda like you feel the urge to chuck a plate, but because you're delightful, it's like a parasite keeping your hands folded in your lap, controlling your behaviors and words.

And they both don't like that their delightful-selves are fighting against old comrades because they were probably ex-KND operatives. perhaps got caught during a mission in Father's mansion, and faded to obscurity in KND history. Either that, or maybe they were father's first delightful experiments? Before the DCFDTL? Maybe that's why they aren't as insync as the DCFDTL, cuz you'd think them being related by blood would strength that bond.

Honestly, i just want an AU where they're happy:))

You can go through the entire game without romancing anyone and still have the entire crew be your friends for life, no romance necessary to rope in these fellers <3 There's gonna be an indicator for purely romance-building choices so there won't be accidental flirts when they're unwanted. They'll always be your friends though.

The NPCs are sorta the same but tbh it comes down to how you act bc these people love their town and if you piss on it and bounce , you'll get no season's greetings on Christmas. Actions and inactions have consequences 😌

(Btw I've never thought of this before, I never really pondered on this question of the things that make me feel happy but still ig I'll give it a try)

1. BOOKS, BOOKS AND MORE BOOKS!! The first on the list, always, will remain books. I just cannot live without them, they're the bestest friends I've ever had, even more closer to me than my IRL friends actually. I remember my grandpa saying this one line to me always when I was young: that people don't just live their lives, they live their stories, stories that their destiny crafted for them, and since then I've always been hooked on to stories that intrigue me, inspire me, and fascinate me, so I'm someone who cannot live without books at all because I need to devour stories to survive lol, my sanity solely depends on how I dwell in my fantasies and dreams 24*7

2. Badminton 🏸!!! I never had a boyfriend or a love interest of any sort so I decided to fall in love with this sport instead lmao 🤣🤣🤣 but jokes aside, playing badminton is equivalent to breathing oxygen for survival at least for me, because this sport has taught me SO MUCH, even the limited amount of wisdom I have, is because of the millions of moments in time that I've dedicated to the game, badminton taught me to stay strong, to stay hopeful and to stay opportunistic lol. I made so many good friends in my journey of sporting, in fact I've visited half of India already thanks to the different national tournaments conducted periodically in different cities of the country, I owe so much to the game and ig I'll never be able to love a boy as much as I love this sport lmao 🤣🤣🤣 but yeah although I never got permission to pursue this sport professionally, I'm glad I at least got the opportunity to learn the skills and hone my talent in this field

3. My family: mom, dad, sistah and my pet German Spitz named Lucky, idk what I'd do without them 😭😭❤️❤️

4. Singing and dancing and poetry ARGHHHHH I WON'T SURVIVE IF I DON'T HAVE THESE IN MY LIFEEEEEE, penning short poems in Urdu, Hindi and English is a different level of luxury tbh, and who would not want to shuffle their legs and hands for a moment of bliss if there's a Krishna bhajan playing nearby? Who would not want to dance to the beat of the raindrops beneath the darkest of clouds to forget their miseries? Who would not want to hum to old retro duets of Lata ji and Kishore da if they hear it playing in some radio nearby? So u see, life without music, dance and poetry would obviously be equivalent to hell for anyone because these simple luxuries are what make life worth living

5. Idk what the heading for this should be, but.....amongst the top 5 things that make me happy, I absolutely have to mention this otherwise it would be dishonest on my part.

The biggest thing that gives me happiness is, seeing others laughing with a smile on their faces. There's so much of darkness and despair around us, isn't it? We try finding ways to get out of our traumas, our troubles, our battles, but what if there's no way out of it really? Don't they say that "struggle is the other name of life"?? We're born with our own personal destinies, our own ill fates and misfortunes, our own sufferings and burdens, and life is nothing but a constant process of making your way out of this mess, so sadness in a way is inevitable in everyone's life, but that doesn't mean happiness should be out of bounds right? U can find happiness in everything u see around you, everything that happens around you or what happens TO YOU, you just need to have the eyes to identify happiness and the heart to feel the bliss, as for me, I try finding happiness in other people's smiles, there are so many days when I have no reason to be happy, when I am constantly in a state of bad mood, but then when I help others out around me and see a smile on other's faces because of me, that's perhaps the happiest feeling I can ever experience, which is far more superior than all other sources of happiness I've described in the above 4 points. So perhaps "helping others out and making others smile around me" tops the list of "5 things that make me happy"

look. carlando was my main ship when I got into F1 fandom and is going to stay in my top 3 forever. but I keep the lines drawn nice and sharp. I l-o-v-e shipping them but I'm also aware that they're literally big brother/little brother and that all of the physicality and closeness is identical to Charles with Arthur. that and the fact that Carlos is sahuuuuuper straight and folks just confuse euro dude behavior with friends for gayness. Carlos was the one who pushed for Lando to grow up and get a gf and Carlos himself was practically engaged for 6 or 7 years. his own sister gave Isa her wedding bouquet ffs. he's so confirmed heterosexual that he can't be alone for more than 2 seconds between girlfriends lol

but between McLaren content on social media getting absolutely bombarded with irrelevant carlando comments and the hate toward Rebecca ramping up every single damn day (I'd say it's a solid 80/20 mostly of rpf hate toward her and the remaining being plain old jealousy) idk it's not feeling good rn. and it's mostly on IG and a bit on YT (I don't use twitter) but yikes at how much Lando content has something about 'he's thinking about Carlos' or 'omg just like Carlos' or carlando when it's nothing to do with carlando. Lando works so incredibly hard at the two to three careers he's running consecutively and it feels pretty damn insulting to reduce him to one F1 friend - however close they are. Carlos has nothing to do with Quadrant or Lando's YT work or his own sponsorship work. that's Lando doing all of that.

that and when the Today show interviewer pushed the "bromance" angle you could see Lando get kind of fed up (which they tried to edit out) and steer the question back around to actual racing. tbh he even seemed a little icked by DTS making such a big deal about carlando and he and Max joked it off.

even through my Singapore euphoria I could tell Carlos and Lando were walking media ppl back from going too literal with the DRS and saying no, it was advantageous for Carlos and yes, Lando absolutely would've overtaken him if he could have gotten the win for himself. I've actually really respected Lando reminding people that they're not in these rarefied positions to do anything other than try to win or as close to it as possible. they're not making millions and living the high life just to throw race results in the air and play favorites with their friends !!??

and this whole "competition" between carlando and dando/charlos/landoscar/whatever is absolutely not making it's way onto my blog lol. I do know that a lot of people in tumblr are just joking when they do that and I think the 'angst' posts are funny but wow IG and YT are not playing around. they're making videos trying to like disprove other Lando ships and it's ??? (funniest one is the Vegas opening ceremony thing and fighting over who Lando was waving to, Daniel or Carlos) these dudes are absolutely not having real life in-fighting about which of their friends they like "better" or who is their bestest friend. (especially when Lando in the same interview as above stated that F1 drivers - Carlos included - are not his actual private life friends so uh oh how does that play into the competition?? it's so absurd)

I'm not a wives and girlfriends obsessive but I absolutely I am not here for them receiving anything negative from F1 fans unless they themselves have instances truly, openly as problematic as the drivers often are. even then I'm wary bc the sexism motive and double standards run so deep in fandom against women. Rebecca has done nothing but exist as Carlos' gf and it's just a sea of "there's something fake about her" and "body experts" claiming the relationship is fake and that she's "obviously a beard" while he's actually with Lando. that last part craaaaacks me tf up because these men travel to Middle Eastern countries where homosexuality has the death penalty or prison.......... they are NOT gonna be out here referring to themselves publicly as a bromance and their ship name if they're trying to keep this huge gay secret while they tour maximum home o'fobic countries???

I have a few extra thoughts about why folks have especially latched onto being proprietary about which men Lando is closest to or "should be with" when it comes to rpf but I feel like we all kinda know why. I'm over here writing pages of text about him which is lame in it's own way - but even I acknowledge that his greatest attraction as a person is himself and not his relationships to other people. it's why he's the sun that a lot of this content orbits around.

I'm also genuinely glad that Lily's existence and Oscar's quiet but firm reminders of her arrived alongside the landoscar fandom happening. I don't personally see any hate toward her and no one's in denial. even the rare fic that has him and Lily fictionally break up is fully fair to her. I've also posted a lot about how I genuinely love real life Lando and Oscar interaction even more than the rpf (and I love the rpf lol) and honestly the feeling seems shared with a lot of us from what I've seen. so especially if Lily uses her engineering degree to start working in F1 it's good to know that she won't have to deal with crazed conspiracy theories about her being an F1 industry plant to keep Oscar's dick out of Lando's hole or whatever.

for anyone who's read this far or skipped to the end tldr I'm always going to ship carlando and landoscar (and even dando) as well as charlos. but as a carlando shipper I really hope the commodification of it dies down before it truly starts to piss off Lando or Carlos. or Carlos has to put his foot down like Lando did and say hey, stop harassing my girlfriend it's weird.

Skipping forward to notes on Invasion of the Idiot Dog Brain to get a better grasp on GIR. (might do some for GIR Goes Crazy and Stuff too, but we'll see how much I got in me)

I know this isn't about the Tallest but I love how this episode opens. Like they're just confused,

Purple points out the kid behind Zim while he's talking about his improved security and "I'm glad it had a happy ending after all." "Me toooo."

Perfect, wonderful, I love it. They give no shits about being seen either

Zim's not nearly as frazzled as usual by being seen like he is slightly panicked but it's very muted. Whether that's cause he fumbled so hard in front of the Tallest (again) or the fear of being exposed he gets over it so quickly and just goes into fix it mode.

He love just telling people what he's doing, like he reveals his plans to Dib after they're solidly in progress when he thinks he has the upper hand, (unlike Dib blabbing immediately when he thinks of one) but he'll tell his minions anything and will inform the Tallest while he's in the middle of things or even afterwards with them though he doesn't go nearly as into detail with them. (It's like his only social outlet.) He's gotta at least try to look good to the Tallest

He just has the replacement part in his PAK and apparently has more up stairs? That's suspicious

Zim is so done with GIR in this episode. Like he's sorta but not really trying to work with him here. It's heavily reminding me of how he "fired" Keef in Bestest Friend. I still think he's mimicking someone or more likely multiple people who used to be in a position of authority over him at one point. But he almost always gives into GIR in the end. A good example this this little interaction

Big sigh, "Pretend it's a taco!" "If there are any changes in the data,"

big sigh again, "taco beam, just let me know." Turns away disgruntled with his brain

What's this episode about? Hurting Zim's pride. That's it go home lol

BUT GIR we're here to focus on GIR! He gets stuck on the taco commercial until Zim attempts to play into the taco thing. He goes into duty mode, he tries to focus, but it's simply not interesting to him

This show and mooses. I don't think I've ever seen A Room with a Moose tbh. And Mortos der Soulstealer. I'm pretty sure on that one

Notably Zim didn't yell at GIR or shout his name to get his attention in the lead up to GIR becoming the house. He's clearly exasperated by dealing with the bot, but he's not lashing out. Some character development there until things go wrong

This is flash of concern on Zim's face when GIR doesn't respond. He's wobbling between annoyance and concern as he carries him

There's the slightest moment dawning horror as Zim realizes GIR is the house now, but he shoves that down so quickly and just starts ordering him around like normal lol. And he's immediately hit with what he as expecting too getting squeezed like a chew toy

Zim can't let his guard down at all with GIR as the house even before it start to go bad. He's trying to stay in control of the situation and keep his authority over GIR so can't let his guard down at all

"BORING!" staving of the boredom is his life's mission

You learned nothing from the Doom song Zim. You danced cause you couldn't handle the singing, but you just let it happen again smh

Definitely agree that Zim struggles with threat assessment. Like he's scared that GIR is the house on some level (especially after the squeezing) but it's still just GIR too so not the biggest deal. (It's a very big deal.)

It is cute that GIR tries to comfort Zim with the things he likes tho

Anyway~ Zim was good on his word and handed the tacos over, before trying to convince GIR to let him fix things. Good move on his part

I don't think this episode really says a lot about GIR that we can't gleam from non GIR centric episodes, but it does show a bit of a shift in how Zim deals with him when he's actively getting in the irken's way

I'm tempted to also watch Bad, Bad Rubber Piggy cause I do feel like it's a bit of a GIR episode and it's literally the next episode, but I'm gonna stick to my plan for now

Shaundi and Pierce So quick thing about their general dynamic. I think you can all tell chosen family, particularly sibling pairings, is a big thing in my headcanons and honestly, I think these are the best two (OK my biggest soft spot is probably Matt and Viola but I'm trying to be more objective here haha). Partially because they're platonic nature is very genuine, and also partly because they have the balance just right between working together, teasing each other, and genuine heartfelt moments. I took that from canon and ran with it tbh.

So headcanon time. I've talked about the thing about them doing the dirty dancing dance with extreme proficiency enough times so I'll leave that one. 🤣

Shaundi is one of the first person Pierce comes out to as pan and tells that really he imagines himself ending up with another man. I've written before about how Pierce is sadly in the closet for some time because he has real concerns for his safety(I don't know wtf I tagged that as because I can't find the post).

Technically he didn't have much choice as she caught him in bed with someone. But it is so fitting for it to be her to be honest. Shaundi has certainly gone through a journey at this point to get to the eventual realisation that she generally has a preference for women. So I like that for them.

Matt and Kinzie OK so I think you're looking for more of an overview of their dynamic than a hc right?

I've mentioned before that Matt and Kinzie do become friends post-SRIV. OK, yeah, they're never going to be bestest besties after what Matt did, but I think they have personalities that are genuinely similar enough that it's inevitable they'll eventually get along OK. For me, Kinzie defending Matt when the Boss beat him up was kind of the first manifestation of how I see their eventual relationship, though it does take some time.

To put it another way; if they agree, they agree; neither of them is belligerent to each other for the sake of it. However if they don't... my god the arguments Casey has to break up/settle. If they're both convinced they're right, They. Do. Not. Back. Down.

On a less intense level they will forever be snarking at each other, especially Kinzie towards Matt, but I think it's done in a playful enough way. Matt can be pretty sweet when Kinzie is upset. Kinzie lets Matt get away with the odd "Agent Kensington" in return. I like their dynamic a lot.

basically its a scale rating for how good/bad morally each of them are (for my own amusement lajksklfj). it'd go smth like:

1 = goodest bestest squiggly v lovely would help others in need

5 = p neutral tbh literally vibing

10 = the worst the baddest they are in the naughty corner they cause problems on purpose lkJALKSFj

this is a p horrendous scale and v verse-dependent and situational and there's much more to their moral compass than this but. anyway:

allan is p firmly a 6 when he first starts out in hw, post-sharlayan banishment! he's v much the type to look out for himself and bc of his past experiences he does have a bit of a predisposition towards being a baddie (like, during sharlayan stuff he'd be a 3-4 ;; he was Nicer but... yeah lkajskf). obvsly he can change but he still tends to hold the ideal of 'to achieve something, one must do whatever they must', even when he begins skewing towards a good alignment T__T there's a lot more nuance to this but i will shut up here before i keep rambling lJLKASJF.

asclepius is a Good Bean... how did allan stray so far... LJASKLFJ he's v much a 1 on the scale hhhhh. while he does tend to hermit a lot and go off on his own/keep to himself, he will absolutely help ppl in need ;; he's a true healer, one of the best back in ancient times (though not very many knew about it), and if he ever came across ppl needing help in his travels or whenever he came back to amaurot, he'd absolutely do what he could to solve their problems! even better if they required a healer bc he's there and done and dusted lkjalksfj. however, due to his visions, he kinda gets a bit more hopeless so he tends to give up easier since his visions have mostly come true thus far. so like... if there's any situation where he neglects, its not bc he's bad, its bc he thinks he can't rlly do shit lkjaslkfj.

selene is... heh. like, u wouldn't be able to guess it initially, but she's... weirdly a skew of 4-6. she has no more family, no close friends, she's vibing on her own if she doesn't have someone to truly care for. she loves eulmore, but after realizing how shitty it truly is, she's v much in an 'idgaf' mood lkjalksfj so she ends up looking out for herself. she can be a good person... but she can also be a bad person if u kno what i mean LKJLAKJSF

naila is uhhh. i don't need to spell it out do i LKJASKLFJ. v much a 100000000000—

asclepius 2.0 is vibing. i did initially wanna yeet him into a 5 but he's actually... a good bean. sorta. he's a 2-3. he won't actively search for ppl in need, but he will do his best to aid ppl who need it if they're in the immediate vicinity. he will do Some Good to help ease his depresso.

mahalina... my bby... my angel. she's also such a Good Bean at a 1. even if she faces a lot of pressure from her mother, she's v much someone who will actively help people if she hears even a whiff about it. like... she is bitter about being 'forced' to be perfect, but that's only bc she's not allowed to be more like herself. when her brother disappeared, it was a catalyst to her becoming more like herself and standing up to her mother. she didn't want to be stuck in sharlayan, which chose to be neutral, she wanted to go out there and do some Good while searching for her brother, which is exactly what she did.
