what s5 scene could top the running up that hill scene?

ok ill answer for the sake of answering but im dead serious i would be SHOCKED if there is a scene in s5 that takes over as my favorite stranger things scene of all time. i really dont think they will beat that.

but one scene that would be way up there in my rankings that i really want to see is an emotional scene of mike coming out to el. i really want his coming out and their final breakup to coincide. ive seen some people say they think mlvn already broke up or that theyll break up in the first episode but i disagree. it’ll be a big deal! and i want it to be!!!! i want them to have a moment that parallels jonathan comforting will at the pizza place. i need mike to cry from relief when el tells him theres nothing wrong with him and admits that she also would rather just be friends. i hate when people just want mlvn to end and dont care how, they just want it as soon as possible so they can skip to byler. i love both el and mike and they deserve to have a beautiful breakup!!!!!!

that would also be an interesting opportunity to bring up the painting. el would tell him that she doesnt love him romantically either and he wouldnt believe her because of everything will said and then he’d say “but what about the painting?”

i also really want mike to get vecna’d and i know this is so fucking mean but i imagine he would get vecna’d and el piggybacks and tries to fight him off, mike for some reason doesnt see el in his trance and doesnt know shes there, vecna taunts him for being gay and being in love with will and tortures him with “friends dont lie” by saying hes been lying to everyone, then when he wakes up he sees el with blood on her nose and realizes she was there and she knows everything and he freaks out and thats what leads to their emotional breakup scene. I WANT THAT TO HAPPEN SO BAD!!!!

when do you think theyll make hawkdemetri canon; in s4 or later (assuming it goes to 6 seasons)? i think the romantic aspects of their relationship will be empathized more clearly in s4 (hawk's jealousy of yasmime, their deep understanding and love for each other, etc) but they won't officially get together until the fifth season, leaving the last one to explore them figuring out how to go public and all that. or or i was thinking they do get together in s4 but due to the cobras threatening demetri or smth like that, they break up shortly after and don't get back together until the s5 or 6 finale. i feel like i'm being bold bc nothings set in stone but w what jon and hayden liked/rted im just ahhh!! so excited!!

Oh man, are we actually doing this now??? Are we actually discussing when Hawkmetri would hypothetically go canon???

IF SHE-RA WENT THROUGH WITH IT MAYBE IT ISN’T A MERE GAY KARATE PIPE DREAM

I personally see them making Hawk/Demetri an endgame pairing, so they wouldn’t officially get together until close to the end of the series--maybe even IN the series finale (which, as I believe I mentioned in one of my other posts, I would strongly prefer to be the kids’ senior prom, where a giant karate fight breaks out and everyone has to battle in tuxes and dresses because it would be HILARIOUSLY AWESOME). I think they might do it like She-Ra did Catradora, where they don’t confess their love and get together until the last (or close to the last) episode (Ah, She-Ra spoilers, I guess...but anyone who doesn’t know by now that Catra and Adora end up together has been living under a rock XD) but there’s LOTS of ship tease prior and maybe even a stolen kiss/hand-hold or two leading up to that moment. Either way, if they decide to go the Hawkmetri route, it definitely has Endgame Ship vibes to me, which means...good news is, we’re gonna win this bitch, and bad news is, I don’t think we’ll be seeing Hawkmetri proper anytime soon, especially if the show goes on for 6+ seasons D: But hey, we sure as hell have something to look forward to, if our hope isn’t totally misplaced!

I think most likely Demetri and Yasmine will date throughout Season 4, and I can see the writers using this to give Hawk a “green-eyed epiphany” of sorts, where he realizes he’s jealous of Yasmine in slightly more than a you’re-hanging-out-with-my-best-friend-more-than-me kind of way, and he’s just like “...oh fuck, am I gay? Shit shit SHIT” and cue Big Boi Angst! Probably by Season 5 Dem and Yaz will be broken up (because ain’t no one telling me a relationship founded on wedgies lasts more than one goddamn season), and that’s when we’ll start getting a lot more ship tease with Demetri and Hawk--subtle touches, a bit of hand-holding (but, of course, they’d find a way to do it in contexts where they can get away with it lol), “friendship teasing” that’s basically flirting, longing gazes when the other isn’t looking, getting a little TOO contact-happy when they spar--that kinda deal. Maybe at the end of Season 5, they’ll share a kiss, but they won’t want to address it or it’ll come with some complication. Like they’re both drunk, or maybe one kisses the other and then doesn’t want to talk about it afterwards because they’re too embarrassed, etc etc. And they’re both trying to figure out if everyone’s even going to be cool with them being gay anyways.

Season 6 I see as being more or less the same thing, with lots of ship tease and mutual pining and such, but it’s a bit more intense now and kinda complicated by the fact that they’re more directly aware of their affection for each other being romantic and they’re both trying to come to terms with the fact that they’re definitely probably not straight. They’re also slowly realizing they’re full-on in love with each other too, and they’re both trying to work up the courage to just ask the other to be with them. And then at the end of the season they finally do it, and then go to Karate Prom together!!! The madlads!!!

GRANTED, I’m REALLY trying not to get my own hopes up about all this, BUT the fact that one of the show creators liked someone’s tweet asking if Hawk and Demetri were gonna be the LGBT rep and another creator straight-up RETWEETING Hawk x Demetri fanart is...admittedly very promising!!! I’m really really hoping beyond hope that this ship happens!!! But Korrasami happened, Catradora happened...so anything is possible!!! It’s certainly easier to make a gay ship with semi-major characters canon than it used to be. I just hope the homophobic side of the Cobra Kai fanbase doesn’t mess this up for us by bitching about “PC” LGBT representation to the showrunners or something :/ Man...it’s honestly kind of alarming to see the amount of people who seem against shipping Hawk and Demetri solely because...they’re both guys??? Like people really be like “UGH these two guys are PLATONIC FRIENDS why must you make it GAY???” As if anyone in the history of EVER has said “UGH this guy and this girl are PLATONIC FRIENDS why must you make it STRAIGHT???” because...they’re already “defaulted” to be straight :/ Sigh...this is the depressing world we live in, I guess.

Fingers still crossed for Hawk x Demetri, though!!! Let’s make it canon through the Power of Karate!!!

hopes for s13 and brief review of s12?

okok ik s12 just aired but--- hear me out skjskyjs

i really liked this season, wouldn't say i loved it, but still liked it. we got a proper storyline unlike in s11 and some(?) character development, the soundtrack was good - which it also was in s11 - and i loved that they brought the master back.

yet i cant help but be quite annoyed about some things in this season.

the master:

like i said i loved that they brought the master back BUT how can we not have missy mentioned at least once. if this master is an incarnation after missy he for sure would have mentioned her at least once to spite the doctor and hurther even more by her having failed missy or something like that. and if he was an incarnation before missy i'm pretty sure that the doctor would have mentioned her at least once. it just feels like everything that missy hat going for her during s9/10 got thrown out of the window and i highkey do not like that.

i really hope that in s13 we will get some closure on that because i don't really believe we've seen the last of the master yet.

angst? things?

something that bothered me and a lot of others with the doctor in s11 was that it felt like the doctor lacked something the other new who doctors always had and that had just become part of the doctors character over the years.

i'm talking about the darkness, the anger, the sadness.

and i know we got some of that in s12 which i LIVED for btw because i am a huge sucker for angst. but (i'm going to use this word so much in this blog thingy skjs) we never really had an anger moment that made one go "oh damn" like we had with the previous doctors. i mean matt smith had one of those moments in his second episode.remember how he had this cold anger towards amy for pressing the forgot button about the starwhale situation because she didn't want the doctor to have to make a decision - so basically making the decision for him - and how he then screamed at everyone in fury. those are the kinds of moments im talking about and i feel like we haven't had one of those with the thirteenth doctor yet. (i love her anyways because i am basically whipped for her but still)

and i know many, many people like exactly that about her and say that it's refreshing to see a doctor that didn't embody those things and this is obviously just my opinion. i just feel like the doctor isn't really the doctor withthout some characteristics and that's one of them. (maybe its just me growing up with him always being like that that makes me miss it so much now)

and this is definitely not jodies fault because she's a great actress and more than capable of doing a scene like that - she just wasn't given the right material to work with.

the companions:

so this will be quite short because i only have two things to say

1. character development.

it's been two seasons and i'm still not quite sure what kind of people yaz, graham and ryan are and thats just-- not good.

i think they introduced too many characters at the same time and thats why they could barely pull of any character development. would've enjoyed it more if they did something like in s5 where amy travels alone with the doctor for half the season - we get an idea of who she is, ect - and then properly introduced rory.

2. HUGS

where are the good old hugs? thirteen deserves a hug and if she goes of the show without being higged at least twice i will RIOT and steal chris chibnalls identity to rewrite doctor who.

the only hug thirteen got was when she hugged najia khan. yaz' mum. like---

okay so if there is one hope i have for the next season that i want to happen more than any of the others it's

DO NOT KILL THE FAM OFF

not because i love them so much (i mean i do love them but--)

but because its getting quite boring at this point.

the last three companions have all been (more or less) killed off in some way. amy and rory being taken by the weeping angels and dying of old age, clara being killed by the raven thing, bill being converted into a cyberman.

don't even need a huge donna situation. maybe just have them go on their own, deciding it'd be better to stay home now, like martha did in the end of s3.

that'd be refreshing.

i'm exited for how theyll decide to let the fam go especially since there are rumors that tosin (ryan) and bradley (graham) will be leaving the series.

maybe have ryan realize that all of that traveling is too risky for him after all and that he wants to stay in sheffield and have graham stay with him because he wants to look out for his grandson.

i don't know what to do with yaz tbh because i doubt they'd keep her as a companion for three full seasons with that little character development, ect. maybe have her stay and then go mid-season? idk

regeneration:

i think we all know its coming. the doctor is probably going to regenerate at the end of s13 or around the christmas/new years special. and while i'm not ready to let her go yet because i feel like they could do so much more with her character and i just lover her so much, i don't think they'll make her stay for four seasons. the longest run any doctor had was three seasons so thats why i'm assuming she's going in s13. (i dont fucking want her to go i cant - - - - -)

so if they make her regenerate i hope that they'll do two things:

have her have a memorable speech, doesn't have to be as deep and heart clenching as the one 12 had (i'm still crying about it) but maybe something along the lines of 10 would be nice. but just beacuse i love angst.

the other thing i'm hoping for is that she won't regenerate into a man just yet. not because i want to push some fEmInIsT aGeNdA but because i feel like there are many things that can still be explored with a female doctor - ESPECIALLY HISTORY WISE. yeah we got some of that during the with trials (was that the episodes title? not sure) in season 11 but 1 episode out of 372802275110 (ok i just smashed the numbers on my keyboard but still). have her explore some more of the struggles women in the past had to go and sometimes still go through.

jack:

let me tell y'all something

if they just brought jack back for those 5 minutes in s12 where he didn't even directly interwct with the doc and won't bring him back in s13 i WILL throw hands.

i need a thirteen and jack reunion with jack hugging thirteen tight and lifting her up from the ground and spinning them around while she's still in the air in his arms, grinning like a freaking retard beCAUSE I AM SOFT LIKE THAT

i'll probably do a blog about the things that i really liked about s12, because i feel like it seems like i hated s12 which i really didn't just kinda sad and disappointed (ex. the jack situation) about some things

The more I think about it, the more I am convinced Jason was genuinely not baiting us in S5 and is sitting at home rn wondering why the fuck the fandom still doubts romantic Bellarke.

Pretty sure he didnt mean “you will be happy” as one of those disses thinking “Blorkes are so pathetic theyll be content with anything” but more along the lines of... I wrapped up this beautiful love story, had it directly addressed by the main characters sister, called them boyfriend and girlfriend by another character, literally separated Becho for 10 episodes, had B&C flirting not in one, but in TWO scenes in the finale and ended it all with Bellarke cuddling, crying and adopting a second child. I’ve made it so obvious you have antis admitting there’s been a shift. And then I say ambiguous stuff in ONE interview and THATS the thing you take from this season.

This whole thing reminds me of those action movies where some John Doe (us) asks “can you help me with this?” and the lawyer (JRoth) pushes over a napkin with a number written on it. He goes “puuh I really don’t think I can. Im sorry.” and John Doe is like. “Oh that sucks.” The lawyer raises his eyebrows and looks a little confused. “I mean, I just really really can’t”, tapping the napkin. John: “I know I got that.” Lawyer, completely exasperated at this point, leans forward and stares into Johns eyes; says through gritted teeth “I said I can’t.” while nodding intensely. This would usually be the point where a person would catch on and be like ohhh I get it haha. But metaphorically speaking, at this point the Bellarke fandom gets up, insults the lawyer, waves around the napkin screaming “and what the hell am I supposed to do with this??” and leaves.

Like.. Jason can’t say anything. He’s showing us. And he sneaks in words like “yet” and “at the moment” and basically winks so hard his eyes must be hurting. For crying out loud, he retweeted an article that called bullshit on his “non-romantic” statement. If I were him, Id just be like

this isn’t meant to critique anyone at all I get if you’re all disappointed and have lost hope!! But if you take a step back and look at how we’ve been fed this season, this really is the only way it can be interpreted!

do you think they’ll come back to the whole “how’d you do it” convo with bellamy and clarke and he’ll find out about how she radioed him everyday? or do you think that was that cus it felt like a good place for her to tell him but she was also like yeet when an emotional aspect to the conversation came up

Well this is the question isn’t it?? I think everyone in the Bellarke fandom is probably asking themselves this right now.

So, I’ve been team “I don’t think they’re going to address the 2199 calls” since the beginning of the season. That’s for a couple of reasons: 1) I’m trying to lower my own expectations lol but mostly 2) Clarke does NOT say Bellamy’s name in 5x01, Eden. She says his name in the call at the end of 4x13, but the writers do not have Clarke SAY BELLAMY’s NAME in 5x01. Now, it’s extremely clear from context that he’s who she’s talking to (”I’m proud of you” + “this would be so much easier if I knew you were alive” + calling her other friends by name).

So it’s not that I don’t think we’re meant to think Clarke was talking to Bellamy the whole time; it’s that after an 11 month hiatus, if “Clarke radioing Bellamy” was about to become a Big Romantic Catalyst for bellarke, I would expect the writers to really flag it in 5x01 by having Clarke say his name, thus kind of putting a pin in that for the general audience. So, going in to 505, I was very pessimistic about the chances of Clarke’s The Notebook calls to Bellamy ever being relevant again.

BUT THEN

When I was watching this scene, when Bellamy asked, “how did you do it?” I literally froze because - are they really going to go there??? are they really going to have her TELL him that she spoke to him every day?? that the memory of him, his love, his partnership, was what got her through?? Because honestly, between the pause and Eliza’s acting, and the awkward way the scene ended - with the conversation LITERALLY UNFINISHED - that’s how it FEELS. It feels like she was about to tell him that he helped keep her alive, but then she chickened out at the last minute.

Like, idk what the stage directions were, but Eliza’s acting here makes Clarke’s hesitation in response to this question very clear. And if the answer is only and always just “Madi,” what awkwardness is there to be had??? In any sort of just world, this “omission” on Clarke’s part is a set up for her to reveal, down the road, probably when her and Bellamy are embroiled in some sort of angsty conflict, that it was in fact HIM that helped her survive 6 years without a peer on the ground.

Now, I’m also not going to pretend that this show always does what is just lol. They drop threads all the time, and as Bellarke has been building for seasons now, there are several scenes that were seemingly set-ups for later reveals that were pretty much forgotten (2x09 “Love is weakness”/”I was being weak” and 4x06 “Clarke, if we don’t see each other again-” come to mind). However, there are a couple of reasons that I feel like s5 might be the season where these kinds of ~romantic bellarke~ threads actually come home to roost.

One of the reasons I think that is something that a lot of fandom, included myself, has picked up on, which is the relatively muted nature of Bellamy’s reaction to finding out Clarke is alive. Like, the cast and writers have told us until they’re blue in the face that Bellamy is less “heart” than he used to be, less fiery, but there’s a difference between finding balance and like, not having a visible/visceral/conflicted emotional reaction to finding out that, contrary to what you believed, you weren’t responsible for killing your best friend/partner/woman you’re lowkey in love with by proxy.

Like Bellamy is clearly happy to have Clarke back, but he hasn’t verbalized really ANYTHING about how it feels to have this huge bomb dropped on him after he lived his life for six years in honor of her. After he mourned her and missed her and memorialized her and moved on from her. This omission of a nuanced reaction on Bellamy’s part makes me think either 1) the writers really fucked up and don’t care bout Bellamy/bellarke or 2) They’re saving big relationship-defining angst feelings about the Separation and Reunion for midseason Bellarke angst. Needless to say I’m hoping it’s door #2.

What does that have to do with the truncated fireside chat scene? Well, in my deepest darkest Bellarke wet dream fantasies, they have some blow up fights or angsty as shit moments later this season where all of these omissions and half truths and old wounds get put on the table, subsequently setting fire to the tentative automatic partnership bellarke have fallen back into. Something else that makes me hope we’re in for some knock-down, drag-out emotionally raw air-clearing angst is, of course, the last shot of 505.

So I don’t know if the show is really going to go full love triangle, and honestly I don’t much care, because THIS SHOT is intentional. Arguably, the shot of Clarke’s reaction to becho kissing is the first objectively nonplatonic framing of bellarke in the show. This shot tells me the show is ready to acknowledge in some way that Bellamy and Clarke’s feelings for each other go beyond platonic partnership. And to me, THAT means the door is open for all their baggage to come home to roost later this season. Because we as a fandom know that if the writers ever had Clarke and Bellamy really fully put all their feelings on the table, there would be no backpedaling into platonic territory. But if they’re willing to frame shots like the one above, I think they might finally be ready to stop just dropping hints and actually follow their own trail of bread crumbs to some MAJOR developments on the bellarke front.

Which brings me back around (finally) to your questions: will Clarke ever tell Bellamy that she called him every day for six years? The short answer is i don’t know!! If we do indeed get some relationship-changing moments between Bellarke, I would say it is highly possible, even likely, because this fact would be such an emotional bombshell for them - for Clarke, because she would essentially be admitting out loud that she loves Bellamy, and for Bellamy because he wouldn’t be able to escape the implications of Clarke staying so intimately connected to him for 6 years while he thought she was DEAD.

And THAT’S why I think Clarke hesitated. Because Clarke had six years to come to terms with the fact that she loves Bellamy, a fact that she was able to work out for herself by “confiding” in him every day. But when Bellamy comes back down, she realizes that she was in love with the Bellamy that LEFT, the Bellamy that has remained static, a ghost at the other end of her radio for six years. But this Bellamy is solid and real and DIFFERENT and, as she finds out at the end of 505, this new Bellamy is someone else’s. This Bellamy has moved on from her in a way that she never did from him.

So while I’m betting Clarke at the end of 505 was glad she hadn’t spilled the beans about Bellamy being her personal diary for 6 years earlier in the ep, I think it is a Definite Possibility that this fact comes back up at the MOST inconvenient (read: most CONVENIENT, for me) time so that Bellarke can really lean into that fucking angst like I know they want to. *Clarke voice* I still have hope. Here’s to the possibility of emotionally fraught Fights and Reconciliations and Realizations, anon.

i like expected it to end like that when lotor fired the shot but STILLLL that was heartwrenching s5 is gonna be packex in the beginning like who thought it would EVER go liek this

that really enver ever crossed my mind. when he heard the area was gonna be gone and we see jus a few scenes of him w his eyes closed, like hes so tired and trying to rest for jus a moment, i thorugh he headed towards it bc rly, this is a cartoon i know but really, i thought it was a ‘im gonna die anyway’ mindset not a ‘let me save the day and join their side’ thing i never EVER considered that that was a shocker

and the shot was such a crisp thing from that distance too and jus before keith rammed it and can i have a lil moment for keith-matt bonding despite like did they ever really meet in person i dont remember?? but wow they like had rly good communication adn shit that was really cool to see

but oh my god back to that final moemnt jeez that was absolutely such a shocker. at the very least i thought lotor would go there bc he thought voltron would save the day and he’d be safe there kinda hidden out like if galra forces werent going there anyway. but he jus. decides so savew the day. jus like that.

it makes me wonder where acxa and crew are now like they talked abt bargaining for lotor but zarkons as much as a nazi as his soldiers i rly dont think theyd be accepted as halfbreed galrans but they seemed to think they had a shot. maybe theyre on the run now too?? bc they did say theyd lost their bargaining chip so who knows where they are now.

okay but is narti dead tho??? bc i thought she wa jus knocked out and i rly idnt think even that happened when they showed lotor breaking the space and like cutting off haggar’s reach of her but then she was down and they jus left her like he didnt even explain it was haggars doing does he know/??? is narti gonna come back and be all like yee your mother was controlling me boi quit that or????

shiiiiiit that was intense. i mean not as intense as other things, like the end of s2 that THAT was intense, but it like you didnt know wht was gonna happen here like it wasnt do or die like s2 ending like it wasnt made out as dire somewhere in your mind you know theyd make it out but the consequences of failing were. wer out there. like. wo.w and jus keith. jus him willing to do that. and matt/the coalition crew realizing and full blown panicking was really gut wrenching that was wow. a wow moment.

did anyone expect keith to flat out leave voltron tho’/?? liek they gave him screen time nd shit but thats a little unexpected. makes you wonder how many times theyll change the paladin lineup now. i cant see lotor as one bc of his fancy comet ship but maybe allura steps down and they become a sorta force together??/ i dunno. theres a lot of possibilities

i rly liked how they were so understanding of keith tho like i expected the team to blow up and be all like ;this is bigger than you’ and lance to honest to god say ‘besides shiro youre the best pilot we need you’ even tho thats sucha hit of his selfworth there on his pilot pride but no they jus. digpiled him. said they understood. were so supporitve. get yourself a supportive group like the voltron squad.

iiiiiiiiiiii cannot believe that ending that was absolutely insane wild like even knowing full well he’d try and offer an allegiance once he fired that shot on the galra ship and keith pulled back in time like okay real quick what reflexes??? youre fully prepared to die like max three seconds away from it and have the instincts to back up and pull outta there liek boy??? what kinda skill. but ye despite knowing lotor would do that when he put out that broadcast signal and told him hey we should have a talk here i jus saved you allafter all that STILL blew my mind.

real quick did keith maybe see the ship or did he jus guess abt the shot being from lotor bc of the power?? bc that explosion was like point blank range for him i think he mightve guessed despite it being such an outrageous guess. which is.. iunno how to feel about that. actually.

but yea ending thoughts aside season four was GREAT fantastic even despite sorta filler ep 4 it was goood!!! i hope they explained abt lotor and the warp dimension tho bc if they used all their quintessence to cross over and didnt end up with the limitless amount how did they get back??? and other things like proper introduction to the wolf/coyote/dog coalition pilot w the pretty voice that would be nice.

ALSO an in depth explanation of what kinda magic shit allura pulled to get voltron out of naxzila(which i thought was naksilla until i looked on the netflix summary of ep 6 thx netflix aha) and like more in depth on the magic in the voltron verse pls pls pls.

i feel like i’m the only one who thinks even if byler goes canon they won’t have them kiss at all… like i’d love to see it but i feel like they won’t be that bold and just keep it kind of vague with an emotional moment between then or MAYBE a hand hold but i’m scared they’ll keep it too vague and people will deny forever 🙃

lets not think about the writers room or whether the duffers are bold enough to do it or anything outside of the fictional universe for a sec. for mike and wills story, i think its very necessary for them to kiss.

theyve been best friends since kindergarten and will is well aware that hes in love with mike. i think mike is aware that he loves him too but hes way more repressed than will. something like what we saw with vickie and robin was easily left ambiguous but still hopeful, but i think that was only doable because vickies a new character. mike and will have over ten years of friendship and theyve been dancing around their feelings like crazy lately. they wont just hold hands all of a sudden and the story ends there. they really need to blatantly talk about their feelings to each other and i cant see that happening without a kiss either before or after.

also keep in mind its still the 80s. they have to talk about their feelings for that reason alone. this is still a time with lots of homophobia and they both think the other is straight so they need to both get confirmation that theyre not before doing something like holding hands. i mean mike was afraid to even hug him, he definitely wouldnt just hold wills hand without knowing for sure that will feels the same way. and this coming out conversation is necessary not only for each other, but also the audience. theyve dropped lots of hints for mike being queer but after keeping him in a straight relationship pretty much the entire show, they really have to explicitly reveal that hes queer to the audience. i think that reveal tho may be a separate moment than mike and wills moment. mike might come out to el when they break up.

going back to the duffers, they recently said theyre in endgame territory and theyre starting to settle who ends up with who. they wont leave any of these ambiguous it would just feel so off. like imagine if s5 nancy, steve, and jonathan ended the way s4 did? where we’re not sure of nancys true feelings? itd just be so incomplete and a genuine plot hole. they wont do that with byler.

so i think theres no way theyll leave it ambiguous but that doesnt guarantee a kiss, however i think it would guarantee mike and el breaking up for good, mike and will coming out, admitting their feelings for each other, and then… they just hold hands?? or smile at each other a bit more? NAH THEY GOTTA KISS!!!! they’ve been building byler for so many seasons. i doubt what theyre building to is just an emotional conversation and a hand hold. i think they’ll kiss and be an established couple by the end of the series.

#also the actors have added unscripted kisses before and noahs crazy about byler so i think he’d riot if its canon but theres no kiss lmao #stranger things #byler #eden answers

Do you think there will be any time for a little normalcy in S5? I know the duffers said S5 will be fast-paced and there's going to be a lot of drama since there's basically an apocalypse, but I also remember when that picture of a prom poster was going around. I've seen people talk about it, but not much and i know the school they filmed at is getting destroyed.

thanks for the warning about the leaks i usually dont care/believe those but ill answer this.

i think there will some normalcy but it’ll probably mostly be at the end after vecna and the upside down is dead for good instead of the beginning like it usually is. and they usually do fit in some normal life situations amongst the chaos like robins coming out, jancy at the motel comparing scars, the crazy together scene, stuff like that.

idk if there will be a prom. i didnt even know that stemmed from a leak i thought people just liked that concept. id love if there was one but dont count on it actually happening. i also dont think they would skip to their senior or junior year bc it seems like it has to take place right where it left off. but i think they’ll end it well with more normal life scenes like how the did in s1 when they were all playing dnd again.

i didnt know the school was being destroyed. theyre filming this year tho so if there are scenes at the school theyll probably shoot those first and then it wont matter if its gone. but also all of hawkins is in the upside down now so i wouldnt be surprised if the school is completely disregarded bc everyone is living in the same weird dystopia and theyre not worried about education at the moment.
