On today's episode of 'what did I put in my notes at 3 am': rtc and video games!
Ocean hates horror games (and horror in general)
Girl will straight up piss herself
She used to play those math racing games and printed out the certificates
I don't think she was allowed to play games at home so all she knew for a long time was school-promoted games
She likes puzzle games but gets frustrated at them and complains when there's leaps in logic
Ricky loved newgrounds
Riddle school was his shit
Constance and Noel both have neon cat ear headphones
Constance used to play girlgogames and stuff even though she hated them because that's what the popular girls did
That was fully projection btw
Ricky is a beast at guitar hero
Mischa will freestyle while he does
He also likes the drumset
Ricky also likes dating sims
He likes the alien girls from Pico Sim date and mr massagy
You know the girl from Mr massagy that's just immediately like 'have my babies'
Yeah
They all play the Sims
They play wildly differently though
Ocean just tries to work her way to the top of every job and max out every skill
I feel like a vampire would get her and she cries that her life is over
She forgets to save often
Constance just tries to live a nice lil life
Probable marry a neighbor and max out cooking
Has far too many mods
Would make Sims of her and her crush
And her friends and their crushes
Noel never gets to the actual game because he spends so long on the character creator
He will then go through the community made stuff and roast it
He has absolutely crashed his PC trying to get custom content
Everyone thinks Mischa is going to be a menace but he ends up making him and talia and just woo-hoo constantly
He accidentally hit try for baby once and just sat there with a blank stare for ten minutes
He snapped out of it when the name your baby thing popped up
He calls talia after that
Penny does the relatable thing and just drowns everyone
Especially if Ezra is involved
They will try to find the weirdest ways to kill them
She loves the cow plants
She tries to get all the collectible things
Like the frogs she loves the frogs
She has them all presented in her home
The Sim is just randomized
Or she let Noel do it
Ricky tries to test how long he can go without eating or pissing
He tries to max out the weirdest things
Like he'll be going for fishing, violin, and mischief all at the same time
Ocean is upset at all of them
"Why would you spend your life on that???"
"Its a game, you up-tight fuck"
A lot of people say this but it's a fact ricky was/is a fnaf kid
He makes jokes about it all the time but no one else understands them
He tries to introduce it to everyone
Ocean is terrified and just. So confused.
Ricky will try to explain the lore and she will just sit there like 😥👍
Mischa wants to fight back
Especially if they're doing vr
Boy is swinging
Noel is scared but tries to play it off
At one point he gets super tense it's like 4am (probably both irl and in game)
Penny lies back and accidentally brushes his back with her foot
He fucking squeals
Ricky played poptropica when he was younger
Constance still plays all the papa's restaurant games
Noel tried to get a boyfriend on club penguin
Ricky has an atari
He also likes speedrunning
Do yall remember Marvel Super Hero Squad Online? Ricky played that.
Also mischa Is weirdly good at claw games

Doors (Chapter 20) Get Used to Disappointment
Get Used To Disappointment
Luisa sat in her room staring at nothing as her father told her they would not be able to go to the city as previously planned. It was just too dangerous. He did not go into specifics, but it was clear his mind was made up. While she said she understood, she was most definitely not happy about it. He sat with her for a time but Luisa didn’t want to talk about it. And after a prolonged awkward silence, he got up and said after kissing the top of her head, “I’m sorry Lulu, I wanted more than anything for this to work out.”
“I know Pá.”
Her father left and Luisa laid back on her bed. She looked out at the archway; she’d not been out there. Didn’t want to go out there, though working out had always been something that helped her relieve stress. Which only served to remind her that her gift was, in fact, back.
She took Hernando off the night stand and laid on her side turning away from the archway. Always something, she thought, always. She wondered if Abuela had had something to do with this. Maybe it was her destiny to be stuck in the Encanto…forever. The tears started and Luisa cried a good long while until there was a knock on her door. She didn’t answer it, whoever it was would likely come in regardless. The knock came again, this time she heard the muffled voice of her Tía.
“Come in,” Luisa said as she sat up and wiped her tears away with a handkerchief Casita supplied from her nightstand. The door opened and Tía Pepa was there with a cup in her hand and a small bowl of something. “Lulu, I have your afternoon dose,” she said and she stopped when she noticed Luisa’s eyes were swollen from crying. Her Tía sat beside her on the bed as she set the bowl and cup on the nightstand.
“Thank you, Tía,” Luisa said trying not to sound depressed.
“You’re welcome,” Tía Pepa said but she did not get up. Instead, she pulled Luisa’s head onto her shoulder. She began gently rocking and told her to let it all out. She'd likely heard that her plans to go to school had been crushed like a bug under the heel of her destiny so Luisa did and after a while she realized that her Tía was not raining at all. Curious she looked over her Tía’s head, not even a cloud.
Her Tía smiled and said, “See even your old Tía can learn a new trick.” And offered Luisa a new handkerchief. She took the hankie and smiled when her Tía hugged her, “It will work out, Lulu. Just think of this as a minor setback.”
“Do you really believe that?”
“Yes,” she said confidently. “I believe that one day, you will be the finest vet the Encanto has ever seen.”
“Tía, I’ll be the only vet the Encanto has ever seen.”
“Exactly,” she said and nudged her. Luisa realized she just said she would be a vet and it made her smile. “Now drink your juice and eat your lunch,” her Tía said as she got up, “We don’t want to make your mama fret, now do we?”
“Okay,” Luisa said as her Tía reached the door and added, “Tía Pepa?”
“Yes Lulu.”
“Thanks.”
The small cloud above her Tía’s head was lightly sprinkling and she said, “You are most welcome, Luisa.” Then she was out the door. Luisa drank the juice and ate the soup. Picking up both she headed out the door feeling kinda okay. She went into the kitchen to find Dolores and Antonio sitting on the patio. Antonio was tying a small bundle on Pico’s leg saying, “Straight to Mariano, don’t you get lost this time, okay?”
There was a short squawk from the toucan as he dutifully flew off in the direction of the town. Luisa set her dishes in the sink as quietly as she could so as not the disturb her cousins then went out into the courtyard. Isa was sitting in the alcove looking through a very large book, she didn’t look up so Luisa decided to rest a bit and laid down on the hammock. Her throat, while a bit scratchy, did not hurt all that much. It was pretty quiet with everyone either being sick or on sick watch. She closed her eyes and was having a pleasant dream about helping people and their pets when she felt an out of place nudge on her arm. She opened her eyes and realized it was much later in the day. In fact it was almost dark. It really wasn't like her to sleep so long, maybe she was sicker than she thought. She blinked the sleep away and found her mother was next to her holding a cup.
“How are you feeling?” she asked and lightly touched Luisa's forehead and let her hand slip down to her cheek. “Throat still hurting?”
“About the same as this morning.”
Her mother nodded and Luisa sat up swinging her legs out of the hammock. It was weird to her but she was pleased that her Mama was there at all. Normally her mother would have been out in the town plaza with her father ministering to others. Slowly giving away bits of her strength, Abuela would have insisted it be so. Luisa felt a moment of anger toward Abuela, but squelched it. She was here, and had been all day. Her mother could not heal herself, but Mira had said the doctor had given her some medicine that would work like the juice did. This was a change she could live with. Luisa could tell by how slowly and carefully her mother was moving that she needed to take a good long break.
“I’m okay, Mama,” she said taking the cup. “How are you? You look really tired.”
“Nice of you to notice,” she said with a tilt of her head and a wry smile.
“Sorry,” Luisa said after drinking the juice.
“Don’t be, you’re right. I’ll be heading to bed after I make sure everyone has had their dose.”
“Why don’t you let me do that for you, Mama. I'm wide awake now and I would love to be able to do this for you.”
Her mother looked ready to say no, but instead she smiled and said, “Thank you Luisa, that would be most helpful.” Her mother took her to the kitchen and set out a pitcher next to a basket filled with cups. “I’ve already given one to your sisters and cousins, so you’ll just want to give some to your Tios, Tía, Abuela and your father. He’s out on the patio,” she said with a tilt of her head. Her mother left the kitchen toward the stairs, aside from the fact that she was moving at half her normal speed, you would never know she was not feeling well. Luisa walked outside to find her father sitting with his back to her, looking out over the town. She set down the basket and filled a cup. She sighed, she was feeling a bit embarrassed about her behavior earlier. It certainly wasn't his fault that people were behaving badly outside. She knew he would never lie to her just to keep her happy.
“Hello, Pá,” she said.
He looked back at her and smiled. She came around in front of him and he took the proffered cup, “Thank you, Luisa. Your mother finally went to bed?”
Luisa nodded and sat on the only other chair. “I’m passing out the rest of the juice for her.”
“That’s good, your mother needs to rest or she’ll never get better.” He was looking back at the town and asked, “How are you feeling?”
“Better.”
He nodded.
“Pá?”
“Hmmm?”
“Love you.”
“Love you too, Luisa.”
“Goodnight, Pá,” she said as she rose, picking up the basket and pitcher.
Luisa went next to her Tío Bruno’s room. She tapped lightly on the door, which Casita opened without waiting for an answer. Her Tío was sitting in the red high backed chair with his eyes closed. Luisa thought maybe he was asleep, but just as she was setting the cup on the desk, he opened his eyes. They were glowing green and she almost spilled the juice. He blinked and after a moment the glow left his eyes and focused on her.
“Hello Luisa,” he said as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened. Maybe for him this was normal? She was pretty young when he’d gone missing so her memories of him were pretty scattered and incomplete. He reached into his shirt pocket and pulled out a small bottle. He popped the lid, took a sip of the contents then closed it and returned it to his pocket. Looking up at her he said, “Time for juice then?”
She nodded and handed him the cup. He drank it down in one go and handed her the empty cup.
“I’ll see you later Tío, still need to give some to Tía Pepa and Tío Félix.”
He nodded and said, “If you ever have questions, you know, about all this, he said and gestured toward his eyes, “just ask…”
She smiled and headed out the door stopping next at her Tía’s door. She knocked and the door was opened by her Tío Félix. He nodded to her as she held up the pitcher and basket. After filling both a cup she waited for them to finish the juice, collected their cups and went next to Mira’s room.
Mira’s door was not all the way closed and Luisa could hear the sewing machine. She knocked and Mira turned and waved to her and seeing what she was carrying, she smiled and returned to her sewing. Abuela’s door was open so Luisa knocked on the door frame and heard Abuela say to come in.
-----------------------------
Alma was sitting near the window, doing a little crocheting in the fading light when she heard the the sewing machine stop briefly so it was likely Julieta was here with her next dose of juice. Mirabel had already had hers she said when she was in Isabela's room earlier. Alma hoped her daughter was not overdoing it. It was apparent that Julieta was suffering from the same thing as everyone else, she however did not have the luxury of magical juice. So, Alma was pleasantly surprised to see Luisa standing in her doorway.
“Good evening Luisa,” Alma said.
“Good evening,” Luisa replied but she seemed stuck in place and somewhat hesitantly said, “Abuela. I'm just...just...” she trailed off as she held out the basket and pitcher of juice.
The two of them had not been in a room alone together since before the breaking. Her almost run in with her own mortality the previous night made Alma all too aware she could not afford to waste a single opportunity. It was clear Luisa had more to say, but did not want to say it. Alma did not want to let her go until her nieta said what she needed to. No matter how hard it would be for her to hear so Alma braced herself and said, “Please come in, Luisa and close the door.”
Luisa frowned but did so very reluctantly. Alma motioned for her to come and sit on the bed near her and Luisa's face said it all; she did not want to, but would because she was Abuela. Luisa set aside the pitcher and basket, put her hands on her knees, it appeared, in an effort to keep them still and sat as if awaiting judgment for some transgression.
As the silence stretched Luisa's face became more and more emotionless. Not a frown or even a crease of her eyebrows. Ay, woman look what you've done. Okay, no more stalling, Alma thought and said, “I have wanted to talk with you for some time now...because I know I have wronged you...” Luisa looked at the floor for a moment, it was clear she'd thought about this at length but was still unwilling to speak about it. So Alma said with much trepidation, “Please speak your mind, Luisa.”
There was a long pause, but Alma knew she would have to be patient. She'd waited far too long to address this hurt she'd caused. This hole she'd created in her nieta's confidence.
“I used to believe you cared about the things I did for the town and by extension, you cared about me.” Luisa finally said, “But it wasn't until Mirabel said it out loud that I saw the truth of it and it hurt me to my core, Abuela,” Luisa said gruffly as she looked at her directly and once she began it all spilled out. “In that moment I saw that there would never be time to think about my future and as time went on there would always be another thing to do, another task even harder than the last. That I was being used up...I really can't say that I know where I stand with you. As strong as I am and even with everything I've accomplished. I've never felt like those accomplishments were enough, even this feels like an afterthought. Last night when Mira asked me to pray with her, I did it, but I want you to know it wasn't for your sake. It was for Mirabel's. She needs you alive and whole. I need to get on with my life and can't. I know your trying to set things right, but there is a part of me that does not trust you. Sounds weird to say, but it's how I feel, right now.”
Alma took this all in and found she could not deny any of it. She set aside her crocheting and sat back in the chair. She looked out the window for a moment, then back at her granddaughter. She reached over and gently touched Luisa's arm and said, “Thank you for being honest and to begin, I want first to apologize for waiting too long to say this; you are right, I have hurt you deeply but you were never an afterthought, it was my own fear that kept me from this.” Luisa looked about to say something, but Alma plowed on, “Please hear me out, I also wish to apologize and I do so from my whole heart for having taken you for granted.” Alma covered one of Luisa's hands with hers and continued, “You have always been a blessing to our family and I was so very wrong to take advantage of your kindness and willingness to help. I am ashamed because it went on for far too long. Something I will always regret allowing to happen.”
“Abuela, it's okay-” Luisa started to say but Alma interrupted her shaking her head.
“No. no, Luisa, it was not and it will never be 'okay' to treat someone like that and most especially, someone you are supposed to love and care about. Such things should never be conditional and I am sorry that I made it so,” Alma said as she gave Luisa's hand a squeeze. Luisa's doubt was clear so Alma went on, “As it should have always been, it is your dream for your future that matters. A future filled with the promise of healing, you are so like your mother in that regard and I hope you will allow me to be a part of that, though I understand if you cannot. As I said yesterday, you are not required to do anything you do not wish to. I also know your father explained about the dangers of leaving the Encanto right now, however please be assured we will not rest until we find a solution.”
Luisa's sighed and almost smiled. It was obvious she did not believe a way could be found. Luisa filled a cup from her basket and handed it to her. Alma took a long drink of the juice to give herself a moment to untangle her thoughts. Luisa started toward the door but turned and said, “Abuela, see you in the morning?”
Alma nodded and said, “Thank you, Luisa.”
Luisa went out the door gently closing it behind her. Alma picked up her crocheting, Casita brightened the room for her to see better as she thought, still so much to do, but at least it was a beginning.
------------------------------
Luisa closed the door to Abuela's room and took a really deep breath. She realized maybe avoiding Abuela wasn't the best way to deal with her issues with her. She knew a year ago she would not have dared say the things she did and Abuela had listened and taken her seriously. All in all, she felt a little better about the day and decided to take Tía Pepa's advice and think of this as a small setback. As she stood there she noticed the sewing machine was silent. She looked over and saw an excited Mirabel smiling holding out a pair of dark blue pants.
“These are for you,” she said, “Wanna try them on? Well, you need to try them so I can make sure they fit right. Don't want em to split when your bending over. Gosh I hope that doesn't happen. Girl pants are so different than boy pants...I mean just taking your hips into account almost drove me batty...”
Luisa set down the items she was carrying and went over and hugged Mirabel effectively cutting off the flow of words with a small squeak. Her sister would never know just how loved she truly was.
“Wow! I hope Isa's that excited,” Mirabel said once her feet were back on the floor.
“Yup, it's all about the pants,” Luisa said examining them. She pushed the door closed and switched out her skirt for the pants. They felt snug at the top but that was probably because of her bloomers. Something she hadn't considered when she asked her sister to make them. Mirabel instructed her her squat then bend over and touch her toes. They were too long and Mirabel asked if she wanted them to come above or below her ankle. Luisa had not actually considered that and decided above would be best.
Mirabel nodded and had her stand on then stool as she pinned the material telling her she could pick them up tomorrow. Luisa changed back into her skirt but before she left she sat her sister down on the sofa. Sitting next to her she said, “Pá told me today that we wouldn't be able to go to Bogota any time soon, it's too dangerous on the roads. So no need to rush.”
“Oh, I'm so sorry Luisa...”
“I'm okay now. Had a good cry over it with Tía Pepa. But I wanted you to know that you were right about Abuela. She actually apologized...never thought that would happen,” Luisa said, “but, thanks for helping me see past my anger, there was more of it in there than I thought.”
Mira nodded and smiled, then her expression turned curious as she said, “You know, Tío Bruno showed me a vision he had last night and since I've already recruited Isa's help...”
Luisa stared at her hermanita and was not surprised by her calculating gaze. All the best trouble they'd ever gotten into when they were younger was because of her. It used to drive Isabela to distraction and truth be told this made Luisa feel somewhat nervous but still she wondered what in the world were her sisters up to.
“I wonder if Tío is still up, Casita?” Mirabel asked. There was a clatter and Mirabel rolled her eyes. “Too late. What time is it?” she asked and looked at the clock. “10:30 already? I guess that is kind of late...”
Luisa poked Mira's shoulder to get her attention and said, “You are not getting off this sofa with out a better explanation of whatever it is your talking about.”
Mirabel smiled and said, “We need you for a mission of utmost importance...” Mira then went on to explain about what she'd seen in Tío Bruno's tablet as well as what she thought they might actually be able to do about that. Luisa felt her smile grow and thought, well I can't leave town but at least I'll have something to do.

Got a random burst of inspo, turned my brain off and wrote some Picenessandra fluff (also some lore/future stuff???? owo??)
💖❤️💚
(Takes place like 2 years after the “incident” was stopped)
Three lovesick teenagers, Pico N. Grounds, Nene Romanova and Cassandra [REDACTED] were all laying down in bed together, safely snuggled closely under the fuzzy blankets. They were “trying to sleep” in Nene’s bedroom, or at least, her second bedroom. The three had all kind of been taken in by the famous and rich couple Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest due to ties with their daughter Girlfriend Gearest. While almost no one had been officially adopted, quite a few had been taken under the Dearests wings, with the entirety of the basement of their house being dedicated to their rooms. The only one who had been legally adopted was Benjamin Fairest, with his boyfriend…another Pico, occasionally coming over to be with Benji. Currently the trio should have been sleeping but instead decided to spend their night talking for a bit while cuddling. In tonight’s cuddle position, Pico laid in between his girlfriends, holding Cassandra’s hand whilst resting his head in the crook of Nene’s neck. Nene was softly stroking Pico’s hair, whilst Cassandra spooned him from behind. “So…I’ve been…thinking about stuff lately..” Pico started to speak. Nene stopped petting him for a bit, cocking her head to the side questionatively. “Yeah prico?” Cassandra asked, still holding onto him. “It’s just kinda funny how we’re all together and dating now. I mean, what are the chances that we all just..happened to go to the same school, happened to all meet and become friends, and then just happened to all have crushes on each other?” “When you put it that way, yeah, it’s kinda weird :P” Nene said, kinda rethinking over how they’d even started dating. They’d all just randomly confessed at the same time (originally prompted by Cassandra), and all loved the others, so they started dating. “I didn’t honestly think that you two would…you know…like me…” Cassandra said quietly, burying her face in the back of Pico’s neck. “Well, why wouldn’t we like ya?” Pico asked. Cassandra shrugged. “Lot’s of reasons from just off the top of my head…..I’ll spare you the details…” “Cassy..” Pico said sadly. He knew of the doubts that both of them had about themselves, and attempted in all ways that he could to help their self esteem. “Hey, Pico!!” Nene cried, trying to change the topic. “Have you still been having those weird dreams?” The ginger teen was a bit surprised by this. “Nene….” “Oh..SHITIWASNTSUPPOSEDTOMENTIONTHOSE!!!! Pico sat up a bit, gently placing his hand on the side of Nene’s face. “Hey, hey, no need to yell..it’s…okay…..it’s only us three, it’s not like everyone else knows…” Cassandra also sat up. “What dreams…?” Pico rubbed the back of his neck, his face starting to lose its smile. “I keep having these weird nightmares of sorts…they’re usually very..well, best I can describe it is sketchy looking…” “Like you’re gonna get mugged sorta sketchy, or scribbles sorta sketchy?” The horn haired goth questioned, her head cocking to the side like a dog’s would. “Scribbles. It’s also always in colors. Like everything has a certain color key to it.” Pico continued to explain. “Most things like objects, or the school I keep having them in are gray or desaturated colors. I’m this weird half blue half purple sketch guy…” “I’m light pink and light green apparently!!” Nene chimed in happily. “You’re….red and yellow cass….” Pico said, trailing off. “…what happens in them is…usually…bad. They start with just me, Cassy, and some other students sitting in class…then…you get up and start yelling some about apples and bananas and goth music…it’s really weird” Cassandra bit her lip, trying to stifle laughter. “What the fuck??? What’s so bad about those?” She asked. “U…Um………Cassandra you….pull out a gun and….” Pico started to shake slightly, tormented by the memories of these dreams. “You shoot our teacher…and everyone else in the room…I’m the only one left alive”

PICO HEADCANONS
- definitely knows how to cook, he became really independent after the whole school incident and cooking was one of the things he got really good at
- he cries often just thinking about what happened and if ur dating him expect tears out of nowhere, he just wants to be comforted despite him being afraid to say so
- he's never sought help after the incident, it's why he has undiagnosed schizophrenia and insomnia and you always try to encourage him to get it but it's difficult sometimes
- not very into PDA! he prefers those special moments to be spent alone in the apartment because vulnerability is something hard for him to do in front of others
- extremely self deprecating. he doesn't feel worthy being your bf at times, he notices you crying because it hurts you to see him so broken. you reassure him though that you love him but its still very hard for him
- huge fuckin dork. truly a heartthrob when he's not sad, sexy too even. you'll both often watch cool action movies, attend house shows, graffiti and of course you'll watch his rap battles and him mixing music as he is an aspiring dj. he'll make u special mixes too
- calls u babe, babygirl/babyboy, SHAWTY, sweet THANG, JK!!! but definitely calls u shawty just cuz its funny
- LOTS OF SWEARING.
- overprotective, he treasures you a lot and honestly loosing you is something he fears so he'll do absolutely anything to make sure you're safe
- oh also jealous, he'll put your arm around you if he hears someone or see's someone tryna flirt with you, also waves his uzi around a bit to scare em off. what a sweetheart

We're In This Together [Pico's School AU] Chapter 1 - New Kid
Pico let out a loud, droned out groan at the kitchen table. He hated school so bad, just thinking about having to go made him wanna bash his skull into a brick wall. "Boy if you don't shut all that noise up and eat your cereal." Darnell's mother, Clarissa, snapped from the sink. Darnell choked a little bit on his cinnamon toast crunch, and Pico pouted, lowering his head over his half eaten bowl of Cap'n crunch.
"What, did you remember we had a test today or something?" Darnell asked him. PIco's eyes damn there bulged from his sockets, and he dropped his spoon dramatically. "We have a test today??" He breathed, and Darnell snorted again. "No, I was asking you if you knew." Pico huffed in response, slouching in his chair. The only thing that could make this Tuesday worse would be a test. At least he didn't have that. This asshole scared him.
Well not scared, startled.
two very different things.
Darnell got up from his seat, grabbing his bowl and Pico's to give to give his mother, mouthing "You owe me." To the ginger. Pico let out Thankful hum, then got up as well. He'd return the favor by bringing his his backpack to the front for him when he went back to grab his own. It was still morning. They weren't even in school yet. This day was gonna take forever..
________________________________________________________________________________
Darnell and Pico were on time today, finally. Nene stood by the staircase, chatting with some red haired girl they've never seen. Now this girl, Pico damn there fell head over heels instantly. She was wearing a cute little jumper, a bright red shirt under the suspenders. She had on little red boots, and her hair was up in a ponytail. Her skin was a nice, soft peach color, and she even had a natural blush??
Darnell and Pico looked at each other, the other seeming to have noticed her natural beauty as well. "I call dibs."
"What? You don't call dibs on a person asshole!" Darnell pushed him, but that only propelled the boy forward, enough to make a complete fucking fool of himself. He tripped over his own foot as he took a step forward, falling face first into the pavement right in front of the girl's feet. "Pico! What the fuck!" Nene barked, but stopped when the girl in front of them gasped softly. "Oh no, are you okay?" She lifted him by his arm, resisting the urge to giggle at his dumbstruck face.
Pico stared at her for a moment, then his eyes lidded, and he lowered his voice. "Hey.." He tried to sound smooth, but a deep voice just wasn't going for him right now. She giggled, and helped him up. "Oh gosh, your nose is bleeding. Do you wanna go to the nurse?" She pulled a tissue from her pocket and held it to his nose. His face was red as a bitch, and he knew it. "No! I can handle it! I've been through worse!" He sniggered, but took the tissue.
"Sorry for this dumbass causing trouble." Darnell walked up to the three, pushing past the ginger, who only cried out "Hey!" He took his victory though. She thought he was funny. "No, it's fine. It's kinda cute." She admitted sheepishly. "I guess you would have to meet these two idiots at some point." Nene grumbled. What, did she not want them to meet this mystery girl? Selfish! "This is Darnell. He burns stuff." She pointed to the brown skinned male, who waved awkwardly. "And this is Pico. He breaks stuff." She pointed at he who stared the girl down so hard, his bleeding nose seemed to mean something else at some point.
"Like his nose?"
"Exactly! Like his nose!" Nene giggled, and Pico glared at her. "I don't break my nose that often!" He growled at her, puffing his cheeks. "You don't seem to be proving that right now." Pico almost tackled her, but paused when the other girl started talking again. "You guys can call me Gigi. I'm in Mr. Lawrence's class." She then introduced herself. God her voice was like lying on a bed of flowers..
"Well it's nice to meet you Gigi! Hope we can hang out and Nene doesn't hog you all to herself." Darnell spoke the last few words through grit teeth, and Nene huffed irritably. She probably would have hogged her all to herself if they were late again.
"Speaking of class, we should get going before we're late. Again." Darnell grabbed Nene by the arm, who cried out in protest, then grabbed Pico's arm. Gigi waved as the two were dragged off, kicking and cursing the shit out of their buddy. Pico wouldn't be done with her..
________________________________________________________________________________
They did have a test today.
Pico groaned loudly and slammed his head on his desk at the announcement. Darnell poked his head over, laughing a little at how dramatic he was. "At least it's a test." He tried to reassure him. "Man you know I'm shit at Math." Pico grumbled back, his angry little pout returning for the umpteenth time today.
"Now, now, settle down." Mrs. Fee began to speak, thankfully quieting the class. They were giving Pico a fucking headache. "We have a new student joining our homeroom today."
"Oooooh, hope it's another girl." Darnell nudged Pico's leg with his own. Yeah right, Pico didn't need another girl. That other one has already chosen him.
Is what he would have said if he wasn't looking the new kid dead in the face.
It wasn't a girl, no. It was a boy. His hair was a bright blue, almost nauseating to look at, sure, but his eyes took away from that. He couldn't tell if they had color, from where he was sitting. they were dark, but the confident little smirk on his face spoke for them. His skin was pale, but not as much as Pico's. A comfortable milky white.
He was short as fuck, it almost made him laugh. He pretty much looked like he was nine or something. He could already tell it suits him though.. He had a nice style to him, baggy jeans and a white tee shirt with a red circle with a line through it, messily painted on. Or maybe it was supposed to look like that.
"Beep!" The entire class seemed taken aback when he spoke. "Um.. Can you use.. words?" Mrs. Fee visibly began to sweat nervously. He must have been speaking like this for a while. "Boop bep!" He chirped to her in response, his hands comfortably tucked away in his pockets.
He was.. kinda cute..
"Well, class.. this is uh.. our new student.. I'm sure you'll learn his name.. eventually." Mrs. Fee laughed nervously, rubbing her hands together as the strange boy eagerly made his way to the nearest open seat, hopping up just a small bit to sit down on it. He kicked his legs as he began to pull his supplies out of his backpack. How unlucky for him to be shipped in on a test day. Bah, lucky bastard probably won't have to take it.
"Looks like we got a new freak to add to the codex, huh?" Darnell leaned over and joked lightly. Pico scoffed. "You don't know that, he could be cool.." he mumbled the last part under his breath. "You don't even know him and you're defending him? You must have caught feelings." Nene giggled childishly. "Yo, really? Man, you're lookin' desperate. First the girl from earlier, now him?" Darnell teased him as well, and Pico's face flushed red. "No you ass fuckers!" He seethed quietly.
"Ewwwwwwwww~" His friends cooed to each other, sniggering like little kids, which technically they are, but that's not the point! The point is he's about to bite both of hem!
"Shut the fuck up.." Pico put his head on his desk, covering it with his arms. Later he found out he was right. That little blue haired midget didn't have to take the test since he just got there. Meanwhile he's left to suffer.
Boring test stuff, blah blah, Pico got a C, Darnell and Nene got an easy A, and they tease him, yeah yeah. Once they walk outside those doors he's gonna punch the shit outta both of them.
And he did.
"Ow!! Why didn't you just do it in the classroom!?" Darnell rubbed his arm in front of his locker, and Nene rubbed hers. "Because I didn't feel like getting yelled at again, fuck off." Pico retorted bitterly. He hadn't been able to stop looking at the guy. He watched him walk down the hall, holding his backpack to his chest. He was so cute and small, he wanted to hold him..
Wait.. Where'd he go?
His eyes swept across the crowd for a sign of the little guy. He disappeared. Gone with the wind. What a ninja. "I'll be back." The ginger lightly patted Darnell's arm, and he made a face. "From where??" He called out, but Pico didn't answer. He kept walking, moving down the hall quickly, pushing past other students to get where he needed to.
________________________________________________________________________________
There he was, sitting at a picnic table outside. He pulled out a phone to do.. whatever the fuck he was doing. Pico would admit, he's hella interested in this beep boopin' fella.
"Yo, uh.." Pico started, having slowly approached the table. The small boy jumped with a gasp, then turned to look at Pico, his cheeks flushing slightly red in embarrassment. "Woah, didn't mean to scare ya." Pico laughed a little, and the boy pouted. "Beep boop.." He mumbled in response. Pico tilted his head. "That a new language I never heard of?" He asked him. He shook his head.
"Beep bop."
"So you just.. say it just to say it..?"
"Bep!"
"That sounded like "yep" so I'll take that answer."
The strange boy giggled a little. It seemed he was right anyway. "I'm uh.. Pico, by the way. You got a name?"
"Bee!"
"Is.. That another noise or is your name Bee?"
The smaller puffed one of his cheeks in frustration. Well.. Pico could be patient, it's okay. It was still super weird though. "Bee." He said again. "Bee, gotcha. Cute." Pico snurked a bit to himself, and the other's cheeks flushed once more. "Well, we still have class.. uh.. I have History next, you?" Bee nodded. Wow, what a coincidence. "Well come on you dip, we'll be late." He urged him. Bee puffed his cheek again, but gathered his stuff, quickly typing on his little phone before putting it away.
Pico had started walking to the doors again, and turned around to see Bee scurrying after him. He must have been real clumsy or something, more so than Pico. Great, he had another person to laugh at other than himself when they fell.
Pico learned a lot a lot about Bee in History. Funnily enough, they sat by each other It didn't seem like he had any friends, or knew anyone at all. Good thing he met him first. Any other asshole to put their hands on him would have tainted him immediately. Of course Pico would be the best first-friend this kid would have.
Bee wasn't very talkative, but man he was doing everything but the work. It's like he couldn't focus for more than a minute before spacing out again, and by then they've moved to the next slides. Then he would ask to copy off Pico's notes. He respected the hustle, but jeez, not a single page on his own?
The next class he had with him was P.E. This kid was not very athletic.. At all. His shoes managed to be untied half the time, so he couldn't even run around outside if he wanted to. He watched him fall flat on his face twice now. Twice. In the span of five minutes. Pico, Nene, and Darnell met back up P.E, so he was hanging with them under a tree. He couldn't leave the awkward goofball by himself though.
"That's.. kinda sad.." Darnell murmured as he watched the boy fall for the third time ten minutes later. "I'ma go get him." Pico sighed lightly. Nene and Darnell didn't have time to stop him before he jogged over to him. Apparently some of the girls thought it would be funny to laugh at him. Surprisingly, Bee was laughing too. Maybe he didn't know they were laughing at him. "Bee!" The ginger called, and he looked up from the grass.
The girls damn there scattered when they saw Pico. He had a bit of a destructive reputation. His father was proud. "Come on, can I take you to some of my friends? They're cool, I promise." He offered a hand to help him up. "Beep!" Bee thankfully took it. Still with the bobbity bops? They've at least spoken for a whole day at this point. Is this not how romantic comedies work?
Pico led him over to the duo, who watched nervously. They were prepared to laugh if the little dude fell over again. Pico couldn't blame them. He was too.
"Nene, Darnell, this is Bee. He still beeps."
"Beep boop!"
Darnell seemed astonished, probably getting the urge to write down notes or something. "Do you speak english?" Nene asked him awkwardly. She probably didn't want to ask that, knowing full well sometimes people ask her the same shit. Kids were stupid. Bee nodded, and it made her more confused. "You.. Then.. the beeping.." She trailed off, and Bee simply gave her a knowing smirk. He seemed to do that a lot.
"Just call him Bee. Also dude tie your fucking shoes." Pico elbowed the smaller in the arm, going back over to sit by Darnell, who was now watching the boy intensely for his next words. "Skdoo bep.." Bee laughed sheepishly, bending over to do so. That's a new sound. Skdoo. Hah, funny. "Is it like.. your own way to communicate because you don't wanna speak english?" Darnell suddenly asked, which made Bee gasp and shoot up, completely forgetting about his shoes. "Beep! Boop Beep!" He pointed at the brown skinned boy and nodded.
"THAT MAKES EVEN LESS SENSE!" Nene cried out exasperatedly, tugging at her hair in despair. She had a point there. It would make it easier for everyone else if he would just talk in a way they could understand. However, if he didn't want to, he didn't have to. Plus Pico liked the sound it made. It was kinda.. musical.
"Wait, are you holding a microphone? Where did that even come from?" Pico suddenly pointed out. Bee turned around, pushing his hands against his pants and into the back pocket. Those were some.. deep ass pockets. Maybe that's why he wore baggy pants.. To sneak that in there. "You like to sing?" Darnell asked curiously. The boy nodded vigorously. The three seemed to lean to attention, waiting for him to do something.
Bee blinked, but seemed to get the memo after another moment of silence. He gave his little smirk, then cleared his throat. Much to the group's disappointment, what came out weren't words, just more.. unintelligible noises, however that changed when they heard how he sounded. The noises made a little melody together, to the sound of a show they would all watch at three in the morning. It sounded... Good?? Not the best but he was just a kid after all.
"Wow that was really pretty!" Nene gushed lightly, causing Bee to blush a little. He had hella confidence, it was admirable. "You might just become a singer in the future if you keep working at it." Pico sniggered lightly. That must have been a genuine compliment to Bee, since he gently kicked the dirt and looked down with his hands behind his back. "We're gonna need to hear more from you." Nene then demanded. Bee nodded eagerly, and started the next song he had in mind.
________________________________________________________________________________
He had sang to them for the rest of P.E. It put Pico to sleep, so he was startled when Bee woke him up. He had looked up to see students retreating back inside, and was urged to follow by his friends.
Just like the day before, Pico, Nene, and Darnell were walking home together. Bee was a rider, meaning his parents or whoever came to pick him up. It was a regular routine, the three stopping by the park, hijacking the playground, and hanging around.
Pico relaxed on his favorite spot near the slide, watching Nene play on the monkey bars, and Darnell sat by him after getting off the swings. "Things are weird." Pico suddenly spoke up, which seemed to startle Darnell. "What do you mean?"
"It feels like something is gonna happen."
"Gee, did I scare you with the warzone talk?"
"No, dumbass!" Pico socked Darnell's shoulder, who lightly laughed at him. "It felt like.. something was following us yesterday."
"Now you're really paranoid." Darnell sucked air through his teeth. "I'm not! I saw something! What if... I mean.. I'm not scared. I can handle anything.." Pico rolled his eyes. He knew he was the shit, no one needed to make him second guess that. "Come on, let's go home before it gets dark again. Someone is afraid of the dark." Darnell called to Nene, a smug look on his face as he looked back to Pico. "Shut the hell up!" Pico huffed loudly, damn there launching himself off the play set. They were gonna tease him about this forever. Whatever, he knew what he saw. He just wasn't scared of it.
Later that night he texted his dads to stay safe, but at the same time protect the city like they always do. His father, of course, sent a kitten gif that said "best son" at the bottom. He laughed quietly under his blanket, but quickly turned off his phone and pretended to be asleep when Clarissa opened their bedroom door, poking her head in. "Night boys." Her voice was gentle, and Pico found himself smiling a little. Yeah. Everything was fine.

All in My Head
(This is an au I've had in my head for months, but I never talked about it because it's VERY ooc of Keith and Pico. This is a basic explanation of it through Keith's eyes. If people are interested, I'll talk more about it.
Btw, the only characters that would be involved with this au is Keith, Pico, Amelia, and Otis, but Ami and Otis aren't mentioned here)
He's always been there, for as long as I can remember.
I can't think of a time when I was younger that he wasn't around. He was there every time I woke up, when I went to school, when I played games at home, and when I went to sleep. He wasn't creepy though; he was a kid, just like me, and he was my friend. He played games together, we did my homework together, we talked together.. We did everything together.
His name was Pico.
My parents told me that he was my imaginary friend, which is something all kids had. I didn't quite understand it though, because he felt real to me, and he wasn't based on anything I have ever seen before. But he was my friend, and it got my parents and sister to act like he was around, so it was nice!
But.. Pico never went away, like most "imaginary friends" did. He grew up with me. I never had a problem with it obviously. I didn't WANT my best friend to disappear! But it got my parents worried.. I was talking to what seemed like nothing, which confused a lot of people at middle school and their friends from work, who were judging me for being a lonely weirdo. They didn't want my life to get harder when I continued to grow up, so..
They tried to give me "medicine". They said it was to make me "feel better". I didn't know what they meant, but I didn't think much of it, so I took it before going to sleep.
The next morning, Pico wasn't there.
At first, I thought he had gotten up before I did and left the room, but he never did that; he always waited until I got up, so that we could have breakfast together. I got up and looked around the house, but I couldn't find him, no matter where I looked. I called for him, I tried to listen out for his voice, but.. nothing. I started to panic. He's never left me before, but now, he was nowhere to be seen.
I cried to my parents. "He's gone!" I said, "Pico is gone!"
"It's ok!" They responded. "It's ok that Pico is gone!"
"That's what is supposed to happen!"
…..
I felt sick.
That's when they explained what that "medicine" was: it was a drug prescribed by my doctor to help fight "delusions". "Schizophrenia", the doctor said I might have. If I take that medicine for a long time, Pico will stay gone, and I can finally live a normal life..
They gave me that drug again. I put it in my mouth, drank my water, and opened my mouth to prove I took it. They were happy that I was doing this, and they promised it was for my own good..
Once they left, I threw it up.
It hurt so much, but I did it anyway. No way in Hell was I going to keep taking something that took my best friend away! I might as well have murdered him when I took that drug! That whole day was absolute torture because all I could think of was how I killed Pico.. even if I was tricked, I still took that drug, and that's what killed him, and I didn't know where he was anymore. Everything felt wrong, everyone felt against me, I was scared, cold, I wanted to cry, I wanted to find him..
The next morning, he was sleeping by my bedside.
He wasn't sleeping on the bed with me, but rather resting his head on the side while sitting on the ground. I shot awake and shook him, and he looked up with dull eyes. His whole face looked paler than normal, and he looked very weak.. but he still smiled and said, "Good morning, Keith. Did you miss me~?"
I told my parents I wasn't feeling well, so they let me stay home from school. I kept myself locked in my room and laid in bed the whole day, hugging Pico and crying out apologies until my voice gave out. He didn't hate me at all, though. Not once did he blame me for what happened. He was mad at my parents for tricking me, but he didn't hate them either.
I kept pretending to take the medicine. I pretended Pico wasn't around when I was near people. But I always saw him, and I always talked to him through my thoughts.
Years later, he's still with me. He's still my best friend.
When I'm thinking about something I saw, he acts it out in front of me to help me remember. When I listen to music, he moves along with the song. Even the scenery begins to change once he starts dancing. When I wake up from a dream, he tries to tell me as much as we can remember about it.
When I'm sad, he's there. When I'm happy, he's there. When I'm lonely, he's there.
….
He was my first kiss, too.
It happened after a girl confessed to me in high school. I didn't know her very well, since she was only in one of my classes, and we hadn't talked much at all with each other. It left me confused. She wasn't ugly at all, really pretty actually, but I didn't know anything about her, so.. y'know, why would I go out with a stranger?
"Have you ever had a crush on someone before?" Pico asked.
"No," I answered, "But you already knew that answer."
"Heh heh, true." He laughed a bit. I remember him swaying a bit in his seat, until he leaned closer to me, his expression turning soft. "Y'know, I have a crush on somebody.. Do you know who it is?"
I didn't answer. Because I already knew the answer.
So that's why I didn't move away when he pressed closer to kiss me.
That kiss? It felt so real.. it was sweet, it was gentle.. he tasted like apple and cinnamon, which was his favorite flavor in anything. I wanted him to keep kissing me, so he did. He gently pushed me down onto the bed and climbed on top, kissing me more and more. I could feel his hands travel under my clothes, raising my shirt to touch my chest, slipping into my pants to rub between my legs..
"Pico.. Pico, nn.. a-anh~"
"I love you, Keith.."
"I-I love you too..!"
"Let's stay together forever, okay?"
"Y-Yes..! I-I wanna be with you, I wanna love you more, I.. Ah~!"
A loud knock on my door startled me awake. "Honey, dinner's ready!" My mother called out.
I looked down at my body. One of my hands was grabbing my chest, while the other was buried beneath my pants and underwear. I looked back up to see Pico at the door, facing away from me, rubbing and squeezing his own arm.
.. I started to cry.
I know Pico isn't real. The countless pictures taken, the way he ends up in places no normal person can get to, the fact that nobody else can hear nor see him but me.. I've accepted the fact that Pico was just someone my brain created for some reason, ever since I was a baby. No matter how hard I wished.. no matter how hard I tried to think of him as a real person..
He will always be something my fucked up brain thought of.
.. but I never want him to go away. Even though I know and accept the fact that he's a hallucination, he's always been there for me in ways that nobody else would ever be. He helps me sleep at night, he makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, he's always supportive of me..
And he'll always love me, just as I will always love him.

No Idiots Were Harmed in the Making of His Reality
(AO3)  (Previous)  (Bonus)
Summary: Despite Boyfriend's brain resembling nothing more than an empty screensaver at times, he also switches frequently between different screensavers almost at will.
Today, as he holds his ex tightly in his arms, listening to those rare, sought after snores, his mind is twisting and turning with thoughts as his thoughts become those never-ending pipes that seem to stretch on forever. Now, if only he could actually put his thoughts into words.
Or:  A little insight into the actual thoughts of Boyfriend (and Girlfriend).
Word Count: 1395
////
Pico’s snores fill the living room, and Boyfriend’s chest fills with warmth.  The ginger always did have trouble falling asleep.  Girlfriend lifts her head up from where she’s been lying on top of Pico, their eyes meeting as she tilts her head curiously.  There’s no doubt to either of them that Pico is dead asleep, but she still speaks in a whisper as she asks her question.
“Do you have any idea what could have made him cry?”
It wasn’t the food.  He knows they both know this, but she pulled that out as a reason when they both saw how desperately he was trying to avoid spilling his thoughts in detail.  Sure, Girlfriend suggesting that Pico was crying over fast food of all things made them seem like even bigger idiots than they already were (and he’s seen Pico cry over food before, so it wasn’t as much of a stretch that Pico made it out to be), but the laugh that came from Pico was worth it.  The tension was eased, the ginger was relaxed, and now they had him practically melting in their arms.
It’s only fair that he tells her what he thinks, right?  He opens his mouth, ready to tell her his suspicions but… he hesitates.
What if he’s wrong?  What if he’s assuming he knows all about Pico when really, three years of radio silence is enough time to change a person completely?
...At the very least, his habit of falling asleep in gore-covered clothes hasn’t changed at all.  It made sense then, and it makes sense now - Pico would take advantage of any moment to rest, even if it meant having to sleep covered in blood at times.  An old habit wants to take hold of him, to find a towel and wet it.  To gently wipe the splatter off his face and hands.  To carefully change him out of his outfit into something cleaner, something more comfortable.  But he’s underneath Pico now, with his girlfriend on top of said ginger, so some habits just have to lie in wait until then.
His fingers twitch, wanting to take hold of Pico’s hand and give it a little squeeze.  Instead, Girlfriend takes hold of his hand and squeezes.  She smiles sweetly and understandingly, waiting for him to gather his words and figure out what he wants to say.  Boyfriend never was good at conversation.  It was easier to make noise and have people place meaning into it so that he didn’t say the wrong things.  Most people always miss the mark when guessing what his response may be, but Pico and Girlfriend are surprisingly good at figuring out what his beeps and boops could possibly mean.  They both know him so well, but does he have any right to say that he knows them just as well?  He never really enjoyed his thoughts too much.  It’s why he tries so hard not to think about them.
What was he supposed to be doing again?  Oh right, Pico.
“B-”  He stops himself.  No, beeping wouldn’t do good here.  She needs to actually know what he thinks.  And what does he think?  All his thoughts circle back to the break up.  The one where Pico cried more than Boyfriend, even though he was the one doing the breaking up.  How Pico shook and trembled and acted like he wasn’t falling to pieces in front of Boyfriend.  How he tried to give no explanation, but kept looking at the band aid on Boyfriend’s face with guilt.
Boyfriend is stupid, sure.  He’s not very good at books, and he only ever managed to graduate from high school thanks to Pico.  But he’s not braindead.  Sure, it takes him a while to put two and two together, but once the dots connect, he can see things in full clarity.
Which was why he knew that Pico was hurting himself more than he was hurting Boyfriend.  Pico needed someone in his life that he could rely on, but could he even give himself that?
There were books he read once.  Books he really tried to commit to memory.  Books about mental illnesses, of PTSD, of schizophrenia, of getting help, of finding help, of so many things that he wanted to commit to memory, but his measly attention span couldn’t keep focus long enough for him to read an entire chapter, much less consecutive passages.  Shit, wait, he’s supposed to be talking to Girlfriend, not getting lost in his overwhelming thoughts.
What even were his thoughts from earlier?  Something set off Pico, right?  They were going to watch some Bob Ross when…
Ah.  Right.  He said something about his thoughts being not good, but not bad.  Something in between.
Bittersweet.
“I… think…”  Boyfriend scrambles for the right words, squeezing Girlfriend’s hand to ground himself.  She always has been so patient with him.  “He was remembering some things from when we were dating.”  There’s dots in front of him, but he doesn’t know what to connect, so he starts drawing as many lines as he can in hopes of finding the answer.  “Um, to me, they were good memories.  I like remembering them.  But maybe… Pico doesn’t?  Or maybe, he doesn’t like that he has happy memories because…”
Because it’s a reminder of what he purposely lost?  A reminder that he’s not allowed to have happy things?  Pico always had a hard time accepting he was allowed to have good things.  Back then and even now.  He struggles to find the right words to say, but Girlfriend nods slowly and picks up from where he left off.
“It makes him sad, remembering good things after they happened.  Especially after bad things happened after the good things.”
“Yeah.”  He nods as she catches his drift with ease.  She was always good at figuring out what he wanted to say.  “Maybe, because he was feeling okay again, it made him remember all the times he felt okay, and- y’know how he is.”  He hugs Pico closer to his chest, feeling the older shift against him with a grunt as he gets comfortable again.
“I think so.”  Still, she smiles and brushes Pico’s bangs away from his face.  “I think he’s got a lot on his mind that he should talk about, but when he’s ready to, of course.”
“Mmm.”
“Do you have anything you want to talk about?”  Her eyes lift from Pico to Boyfriend, making him look away from her attention.  Normally he loves all the attention he gets from her, but this is the one time he feels nervous under her gaze.  Still, there are some things he wants to tell her.  Like his past with Pico, how he waited for Pico to come back for those long, few years, how seeing him again made him realize that he never stopped loving him, not really.  He’s sure she’s figured that out though.  It’s not like he’s good at hiding his feelings to begin with.  She cups his face with a smile, no doubt getting his vibes immediately.  “I won’t judge you, I promise.”
God, she’s amazing.  He cups her hand and smiles.  “I know.  It’s just- it’s a long story.”
“We’ve got a lot of time.”  Right on cue, Pico’s loud snore rings out into the room.  They both stifle their giggles over the snore before she reaches over to poke Boyfriend’s cheek playfully.  “You have all my attention!”
His eyes soften as he takes her hand and kisses it.  “Yeah, I do, huh?”  He rubs his thumb against the back of her hand, humming to himself as he thinks of a good place to start.  Not at the beginning, but maybe near the middle.  Close to the end but not quite the end.  Yeah, he decides, that should be a good place to start.  “So, around my junior year of high school, me and Pico were already dating for like, a yearish?  And I already knew him for a good couple of years before we were even dating, so I knew what kinda stuff he got into all the time.”
“Of course.”
“But uh, that didn’t stop me from liking him, right?  It just helped me understand him more.  Why he was the way he was, what I could do to help.  So we found out that…”
And for once, the words come easy to him.

Zima: ik but still it’s annoying.....
Pico: well what are you craving?
Zima: something sweet
Pico: a sweet tooth?
Zima: I always have a sweet tooth
Pico: alright I’ll go see what we have ..
Pico leaves the room and looked in the kitchen to see if there was anything sweet *

Zima: good
Pico: I’m sorry I went crazy on you
Zima: it’s ok

Make Your Girlfriend Mad Type
Billy Hargrove Soulmate AU, part of the So You’re A Tough Guy series.
Warnings: NSFW, possessive behaviour
Enjoy!
“It’s showtime ladies!”
Daisy scowled from her spot on a pool lounger near the housewife groupies. She chose this seat because it had a good view of her boyfriend and was at a good angle for sunbathing without having the sun in her eyes, but she was regretting it purely because she had to listen to the gross old ladies mooning over HER man. At least she knew she looked better than them. She wore a white one-piece bathing suit that was backless and double lined over any private areas, but nearly see-through everywhere else. Steve had picked it for her, funnily enough, claiming he would grovel at his soulmate’s feet if they wore it for him. That sounded just right to her.
Billy started in about five minutes, so she stood from her spot where she’d already dried off from her earlier swim and dived back into the pool. She swam a couple of laps, then climbed out of the pool right on time to walk back towards her pool lounger as Billy was coming out of the employee area. Daisy squeezed her hair out as she walked, proud to see that her soul mark showed through her bathing suit. Billy’s gaze immediately snapped over to her, and he watched her walk back to her lounger like she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. He said hello to the housewife groupies, but he barely cast a glance their way, far too preoccupied with his soulmate bending over to fetch her towel and then crawling onto her lounger to dry off.
“I like the new swimsuit Mrs. Wheeler.” Billy complimented on his way by, bending to drag Daisy up into a kiss the moment he reached her. Daisy wasn’t usually impressed by PDA in front of children, but the housewives were watching, so she made the fact that she was fighting him for dominance and stealing his gum obvious. Daisy pulled away and smirked at her boyfriend, blowing a bubble that had him grinning and dragging his teeth over his bottom lip. He kissed her again, hands grasping her ass and squeezing hard enough she was sure she’d have bruises.
“I fucking love your ass, babygirl. For a skinny thing, you’ve got a perfect butt.” Billy growled against her lips, skimming his fingers under the seam of her bathing suit only to have his hand smacked away. Daisy gave him his gum back and took a moment to suck at his tongue and kiss-swollen lips, then broke away and sat on her lounger.
“Lemme know if you need help putting on sunscreen, babe. Love you.” Daisy cooed, blowing him a kiss just to make him smirk.
“I’ll need it in a couple hours. Probably around the same time as my break – imagine that?” Billy teased playfully, and Daisy snickered.
“I’m sure I’ll be around. Now go to your chair, I wanna watch your ass while you strut.”
Billy laughed, a full on belly laugh as he held his arms out to his sides as if to say ‘watch away’ and walking off to his lifeguard stand. Daisy smirked, stretching out with a book, her red lens aviator sunglasses perched precariously on her nose. Steve showed up soon enough, dressed in a pair of sailor-style swim shorts that Daisy had bullied him into getting to tease him for his summer job.
“Oh my god, you might as well be wearing a bikini! I think this might even be worse!” Steve crowed at the sight of her, snickering at her smug grin, “Hargrove must be dying.”
“Oh, he most certainly is. He’s been blowing his whistle every few seconds for dumb shit, and he keeps shifting. You just taking a dip before work?” Daisy asked, moving over so Steve could sit with her. He nodded.
“Yeah, I just need to beat the heat. I have to work in half an hour.” Steve pouted, and Daisy shrugged.
“Poor baby has to be a grown up. Go jump in, don’t waste your pre-work de-stress swim on chatting with me. I’ll see you… what, Tuesday for our movie night?”
“Yeah, Tuesday at seven.” Steve agreed, waggling his fingers at her and heading over to jump into the pool.
Steve left just in time to get to work on time, but Daisy guaranteed he’d be late due to his inability to do anything in a timely manner. She rolled onto her stomach partway through her wait to get some colour on her back, but when she got up to adjust the lounger chair, she noticed Billy talking to a cute girl and frowned. Before he could notice her looking, she finished adjusting her chair and sat down, trying to keep from pouting too much. Both Billy and her had quite strong jealousy issues, despite the fact that both of them were 100% certain their partner would never cheat. It was something they usually got through in healthy ways, for instance showing off how sexy they were for each other, teasing each other, and dragging each other away for rough sex. It was rare that they actually fought about it, and that was really only when one of them was already in a horrific mood.
That being said, it didn’t stop them both from pouting over their jealousy and having little hissy fits. Billy had one when Daisy got a text from a guy in their grade wanting to hook up shortly after they first together, even though Daisy told the guy to fuck off. She’d had to give him a blowjob in his car before their dinner date, and had finally broken his pouty phase when she joked that she wasn’t supposed to have dessert before dinner while wiping cum from her chin. Billy broke down into a fit of laughter, and they were fine again like it never happened.
Billy was staring at her and holding his soul mark, but she ignored him, putting her book aside and getting up. She slid her thumb under the fabric of her swimsuit to adjust it to cover more of her ass, swinging her hair over her shoulder and making a show of strutting past him and the girl to get to the part of the pool more reserved for laps once again. She stretched, arching her back to push her ass out the way Billy liked, then bent to plant herself at the side of the pool. Daisy dove into the pool and pushed herself hard, knowing she’d feel better if she got some of the negative energy out by exerting herself. She only stopped when she truly felt tired, climbing out of the pool without using the ladder. The other lifeguard, a girl that Daisy recognized from school, was in the chair watching the pool.
Before she could head back to her lounger, a large hand grasped her hip and she was guided towards the employee-only area. Billy shoved her into the employee locker room and bent her over the large desk, pulling her bathing suit aside so he could enter her without any prep. He placed a hand on the centre of her back to hold her down, the other grasped around her hip to pull her into his thrusts, enjoying the way she was stretched around him tighter than usual.
Daisy whimpered, relaxing on the desk and letting him use her body how he liked. She knew he’d get her off regardless of if he came first, and she loved when he fucked her like this – primal and possessive. Probably not healthy, but it worked for them. Billy grunted softly, fucking into her roughly, relishing in the loud slaps of skin on skin and the way she clenched around him when he thrust at the right angle.
“Who’s pussy is this, babygirl?” Billy asked, moving his hand from her back, trailing swirls over her skin until he reached her clit, tapping it gently.
“Oh fuck, Billy. It’s yours. I’m yours. I’d let you do anything you wanted to me, you know that? Anything.” Daisy moaned, digging her nails into the wood of the desk as he began to pound into her harder and faster. He trapped her clit between his index and middle fingers and worked her hard, groaning every time she thrust back against him. Billy dug his fingers into her hip, giving a final hard thrust that had her biting her lip to hold back her cries as they tipped over that edge together. Billy pressed kisses to her shoulder, pulling out of her slowly and putting the crotch of her swimsuit back into place.
“I’ll be home at 6, princess. Want me to bring home dinner?” He asked.
“No, it’s okay. I’m going to make shrimp tacos and pico da gallo for dinner. Make sure you’re home on time, or I’ll hold out on you and walk around in one of your shirts and nothing else.” Daisy teased, grinning as Billy growled against her skin.
They were both jealous grumps, but at least the make up sex was good.
Billy gave her ass a hard slap, enjoying the red mark left behind, and kissed her temple. He headed off towards his chair again and Daisy headed into the women’s change room to put her summer dress on over her bathing suit. She didn’t care that cum was dripping down her thighs. She’d be home soon and could shower there far more comfortably.
By the time Billy got home, she had showered, changed into Billy’s Sterling crop top and booty shorts, and she was just finishing up dinner. He kicked off his shoes, dropped his work bag, and snuck up behind Daisy to steal snuggles. She was used to it, and honestly, she loved it. Billy was touch-starved, and he was probably one of the most contact driven people she had ever met. It was rare that he didn’t have at least some part of him touching her, even if it was just a thigh against hers or his pinky locked around hers. Daisy sighed happily as Billy’s arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her back against his body and tucking his face into the crook of her neck.
“You smell like heaven, princess. Did you use that bodywash I got you? Fuck, you look so good in my clothes.” Billy murmured, nipping at her ear.
“I did. Glad you like it, sweetheart.” Daisy giggled, getting two plates ready with tacos and pico de gallo, and carrying it into the dining room. Billy followed her without letting her go, and Daisy laughed when he nearly knocked her over.
“Good thing I was hear to catch you, angel.” Billy joked, and Daisy snorted, setting out their plates. Billy dragged the two plates closer together and sat down, then guided Daisy down into his lap.
“Did the rest of your day go okay?” Daisy asked, settling against him without complaint. Billy shrugged.
“S’alright. Got asked out. Told her I had my girl at home, my soulmate, and she said she’d fuck me better like that was going to draw me in.” Billy rolled his eyes, taking a bite of one of the tacos and groaning softly, “Fuck that’s good, princess. You’re such a good cook. My little housewife.”
Daisy rolled her eyes at him, “I am not a housewife. I have three jobs and I own this house. You’re the housewife.”
“Househusband.” Billy corrected her, sliding his hand under her shirt to rest over her ribs, “You calling me a kept man?”
“I most certainly am. My very own boy toy.” Daisy giggled, kissing the point of his cheek and stealing a chunk of mango from his taco. She went back to her own, not even bothering to protest when Billy stole one of the pepper slices from her taco. Dinner continued like that, trading favoured bits and occasionally even kisses. When they were done, they did the dishes together and then collapsed onto the couch to watch a movie. Daisy ended up laying atop her boyfriend, drawing patterns like their soul marks on his tummy while he played with her hair.
“We still having movie night with Steve and the kids on Tuesday?” Billy asked partway through the movie, trailing his hand down from her hair to grip the hem of her (his) shirt and slowly begin pulling it up.
“Yeah, they are. Seven. I think everyone is sleeping over. Max will be over at six for dinner, though. She still wants to move in with us.” Daisy mused.
Billy sighed, throwing her shirt to the floor, removing his own shirt, and pulling her closer so her bare chest was smushed against his.
“I don’t think that’ll ever be able to happen. Remember how hard it was for me to get out?”
“Yeah, I know sweetheart. We’ll talk to her and check in. Make sure she’s safe.” Daisy rested her cheek against Billy’s collarbone and traced her fingers down his side to where he’d tattooed her name upon his hip, just above the waistband of his pants.
“Possessive today, huh, princess?” Billy teased.
“Can’t have anyone stealing my househusband. I’d miss his stupid, sexy smile and his perfect ass.”
“Ahh, he won’t leave you. He likes being a kept man.”
“So it’s okay that I got you a chain with my name on it?” Daisy asked playfully.
“Considering your name is tattooed on my body, I think a chain is perfectly fine, babygirl. I want to watch you bounce on my cock tonight, though.” Billy retorted, sliding his hand into her shorts and squeezing her ass.
“Any time, sweetness. Any time.”
It was a good thing they were both possessive little shits. They really had been paired perfectly, as most other people would never deal with their behaviour.

Hit n Run [BONGLENI]
XXVI. Your Baby
Leni continued working in Rocos as Bongbong's executive assistant after she declined the promotion offered to her.
They continued treasuring their time together after such decision making. They couldn't help but see each other as their own priorities. The loved each other so much and it felt like their worlds already revolved around each other.
As Bongbong's love grew for Leni, the more that he got scared of disappointing and hurting her at some points of their relationship as he thought about his insecurities in life, he never saw himself as a great and perfect man, he never felt that confident of himself when it comes to being the perfect lifetime partner for Leni, yet, all he thought about is that she is with him and that is all that matters now.
Leni informed Bongbong about leave as she is about to come with Natalia for their school camping at Pico de Loro from Tuesday until Friday morning (4D/3N). He allowed her to go and bought her the necessary things she might need for the camping as he couldn't come with them due to he has big project to work and attend to.
She consistently texted him updates about them as soon as they left the apartment. He called her before their bus departed.
Bongbong: First aid?
Leni: Check.
Bongbong: Off lotion?
Leni: Check!
Bongbong: Extra clothes?
Leni: Got that too.
Bongbong: Okay, good. I-text mo ako every town ha?
Leni: Yes, mahal. Paalis na kami ngayon.
Bongbong: Okay. Ingat kayo.
Leni: Opo, mahal.
Bongbong: mamimiss kita. I love you.
Leni: Sus! Mamimiss din kita.
"Hello Kuya Bongets!" Natalia shouted at the phone. "Natalia, umalis ka nga." Leni scolded her jokingly. "Naghehello lang!!" Natalia laughed.
Leni: Sorry. Gulo ni Natalia e.
Bongbong: *chuckles* okay lang, gagawin ko na pala yung keynote. Basta update mo ako ha? Love you.
Bongbong dropped the line and went back to working on his proposal.
Afternoon came, Bongbong took a short break from working. He slouched at his seat and looked at his photo with Leni framed photo on his desk — it brought a smile in his lips. He exhaled heavily and felt so thankful for her existence, she made his life better.
*knocks*
"Mr. Marcos. May bisita po kayo." A clerk informed him. "Who?" He asked.
"Louise Araneta po." The clerk replied. Bongbong couldn't recall any Louise that he knows. "Let her in." He replied out of curiosity. The clerk allowed the woman to come in. Bongbong found her familiar though he couldn't specifically recall where they met before.
"Please leave us." Bongbong asked the clerk. The woman came closer. "Have a seat." He offered. She sat in front of his desk, she seemed polite and shy.
"I'm sorry but have we met before?" He asked as he really found her familiar. "Naaalala mo ako?" She asked. "Uhm... I meet a lot of  people everyday so I can't really recall everyone." He chuckled. "Oh." She replied softly.
"So... how can I help you?" He asked. "Kailangan kase kitang makausap in private." She replied vaguely. "Okay...?" He replied sounding curious.
"Sorry ha? Saan nga tayo nagkakilala?"He asked. She took a deep breath before she even spoke. "One night stand." She reminded him. His bright mood turned a bit awkward as he heard her response. "Oh... I see." He uttered as her formulated a guess of why she came to him.
"Okay, look Lea.. Lara..-"
"Louise." She corrected.
"Yeah. Louise. I actually don't pay for séx anymore if that's why you came here." He immediately declined before she was even able to bring it up. "So if you have no other business... You can go." He continued and stood up to walk her out.
"No." She uttered making him sit back again. "Hindi ako nandito para dyan." She clarified. "I actually came here because I wanted to tell you something in person." She continued.
"Then ano yon?" He asked. She paused for a moment and tried to build her courage to confess.
"Buntis ako." She spilled. Bongbong snorted.
"I guess that's none of my business. If you came here to ask for donatio—"
"Ikaw ang ama." She cuts him in making him extremely staggered. "What?" He uttered in shock. She remained silent and a bit teary upon confessing.
"Okay..." His heart started to pound heavily. "Paano ko naman masisiguradong saakin yan? Look. If you're joking around, I'm telling you this is not a good joke. Kung pera lang naman ang kailangan mo, hindi mo kailangan mag-imbento ng kwento—"
"Sana nga nag-iimbento lang ako kaso sigurado ako na ikaw yung ama nito dahil wala naman akong ibang sinamahan after nung one night stand natin and hindi ka pumapayag gumamit ng protection. Remember when you slept with me because you were so devastated about your break up with your girlfriend?!" She cuts him in again. "Kung gusto mo, after ko manganak, ipa-DNA test natin kayo para makita mo ng sarili mong mata." She dared making him even more petrified.
She dared to put their child and him on a DNA test without a fear, she was that confident, and it scared him a lot. He felt so doomed upon the unexpected news she brought. He began to recall what she was saying. He finally recalled his session with her when he was devastated about Leni and Antonio dating before. He also remembered how hard he was and how they did it without any protection, he was out of his mind that time due to extremities of his emotions. He knew everything she said was true and the tendency of him being the father of her child is huge. He felt extremely flabbergasted with the news she had for him. He didn't know how to appropriately respond to such an abrupt happening.
He panicked and took a paper from his desk. "Isulat mo yung mailing address and your complete name." He instructed, she followed. He took the paper and asked her to leave. "Ano? Ganon nalang yon? Magpakalalaki ka naman, Bong. Magpaka-tatay ka sa magiging anak mo!" She yelled at him.
"Umalis ka na muna. Magpapadala nalang ako ng pera sayo. Wag ka nang magpapakita dito unless I said so. Go." He was talking so fast, he could feel his heartbeats racing in fear.
"Sige, pero Bong, magiging tatay ka na. Tandaan mo yan." She warned him before she left.
Bongbong sighed heavily as soon as she left. He felt like he has been hit hard that he has been badly startled, he felt oblivious, he didn't know what to do. His thoughts cluttered across his head that he couldn't think straight anymore.
This can't be happening. Leni will get hurt if she discovers.
Hindi ko siya pwede saktan. Nangako ako na hindi ko siya sasaktan. Paano ko maayos 'to? Ipa-abort ko nalang kaya? Should I come clean or should I keep it from Leni?
He wanted to faint in fluster. He felt like his stomach twitched and his world suddenly turned upside down. It was a huge problem and it is very unlikely that it won't affect his relationship with Leni. His limbs were trembling in worry as he thought about Leni.
I'm so sorry Leni. I'm so sorry...
He cried in his head as he felt doomed.
Bongbong got himself wasted that evening to forget about it, he finished a pack of cigarettes as well trying his best to relieve himself from the stress. He went home and sprawled at his bed before he began to build up rage inside him. Rage to himself after being such a moron for causing this mess. He was receiving Leni's messages but he felt so bad that he couldn't even reply or pick up her calls.
Nakakapagod ngayong araw. Nagset up kami ng mga tents. Lelz. Hope you're doing well. Miss you, mahal! :P 3:16PM

Bongbong still felt so bad and sinful for him to be able to pick up Leni's calls and texts. In the evening, he invited Martin out on a bar to drink with him and so he could open up to him as well as he felt like he is already about to explode over thinking about the situation. Even Martin was badly perturbed after hearing his situation. He could really see the fear and worry in Bongbong's voice and face.
"Maybe you should tell, Leni?" Martin suggested. "Hindi... She can't know about this. It will break her. It will hurt her and ayokong masaktan siya. Hindi ko kaya. Ang hirap." He took a heavy drink. "So... What are you thinking? Anong plano mo?" Martin asked.
"Hindi ko alam! Wala akong maisip na dapat gawin. Tàngína!" He complained looking so hopeless. He looked at his phone and saw thirteen missed calls and quite a number of SMS from Leni since the morning. He still didn't have the guts to talk to her after everything.
"Why does it have to go like this? Bakit kailangan dumating 'to kung kelan okay na okay na kami ni Leni? Bakit ngayon pa?!" He whined. "Hindi ko kayang saktan si Leni." He continued and took heavy shots continuously. "Bongets... I wish I could help but... Come on. You can make it through this." Martin tried to cheer him up. Bongbong continued drinking until he felt the influence of alcohol in him.
"Kung alam ko lang na magkakaganito eh di sana hindi ko na ginawang girlfriend si Leni. Siguro less pain pa sakanya. Kaso eto na e, I don't even think I deserve her." He felt so bad. "Martin, Leni is so wonderful. Napakabait ni Leni, she doesn't deserve to be hurt like this... God. Bakit kase ngayon pa e." He sounded so miserable. He continued to drink as he vented out to Martin until he was completely wasted. Martin took over him and drove him to his place.
Casey, a friend of Leni at the camp, noticed Leni continuously attempting to call someone over the phone since the morning. "Nagreply na ba?" She asked as Leni told her about Bongbong not picking up or responding since the morning. "Hindi pa nga e..." She sounded sad. "Nag-aalala na tuloy ako." She shared. "Wala ka bang number ng mga kaibigan niya? Baka pwedeng sila yung contact-in mo." Casey suggested. Leni recalled that she has Martin's number. She immediately dialed his number to ask for some update.
M: Hello, who's this?
L: Martin! Si Leni 'to. Sorry kung napatawag bigla ha...
M: Leni... Hey.
He looked at Bongbong peacefully wasted on his passenger seat as he drove him home.
M: napatawag ka yata?
L: Oo e... Gusto ko lang kase sana malaman if nakakausap mo si Bong? Tinatawagan ko kase kaso hindi siya sumasagot. Tinetext ko pero hindi naman nagrereply. Medyo nag-aalala lang kase ako...
M: Ah...
Martin knew he has to cover up for Bongbong for the moment.
M: Muka namang okay siya. Nakita ko siya kanina and he seem to be very busy.
L: Oh... Okay. At least alam ko na.
M: Don't think too much, Leni. Baka busy lang yon. Alam mo namang seryosong seryoso yon sa trabaho.
L: Oo nga e, miss na miss ko na siguro. Di kase ako sanay ng malayo sakanya. If magkikita kayo ulit sabihin mo naman i-text ako.
M: Yeah! Yeah! Of course.
L: Thank you! Pasabi narin na miss na miss ko na siya.
Martin felt guilty for hiding a secret from her. He felt her sincere love for Bongbong and he felt bad thinking how it will break her once she discovers about Louise.
M: Sure.
L: Thank you! Pasensya na sa abala ha? Bye. Sige.
Bongbong continued getting himself wasted until the last evening of Leni and Natalia's camp. He got himself sober before Friday despite that his devastation over Louise still remained tough.
As soon as Leni arrived home, she immediately took a cab and went to Bongbong's place. She ran towards him and gave him a tight hug,
"I miss you! I miss you! Miss you!" She squealed and placed continuous kisses on his face. "I miss you too, mahal." He replied acting as if nothing is wrong.
"Hindi mo pinapansin yung mga tawag ko. Alam mo ba kung gaano kita namiss?!" She kissed him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Sorry... Sobrang busy lang talaga pero miss na miss na rin kita. Sobra." He made an excuse.
"Yan lang naman gusto ko marinig." She smiled at him. "How about we go on a dinner tonight? Maybe with Natalia so I can make it up to you?" He suggested. "Sige!" She giggled.
Later that day, they went to Paru's for a dinner. Bongbong couldn't even look straight at Leni's eyes as he recalls the secret he is keeping from her. He still didn't know how to deal with his issue with Louise. He has been a bit distracted as he thought about whether to come clean to Leni or just keep it from her forever.
He has been a bit quiet until the end of the night. "Okay ka lang ba?" She asked while they walk towards the parking lot. "Ha? Oo." He replied vaguely. "Hay nako, kung tungkol nanaman yan sa work, kalimutan mo muna yan. May bukas pa o. Wag mo na i-stressin yung sarili mo masyado." She cheered him up. He smiled and held her hand. "Sorry. Basta ang mahalaga magkasama tayo ngayon." He replied. "Eh di ako nang third wheel." Natalia joked making them laugh.
"At least libre pagkain mo!" Leni retorted continuing the laughter.
A couple days have passed, Bongbong decided to keep the secret from Leni while he still cogitate on how to deal with the situation correctly. Each day, Leni's love and affection towards him remained constant and ideal. She even became sweeter and more affectionate as she sincerely missed him so bad and it made him feel bad as he know that he is hiding something from her and she is just clueless of everything.
It was evening, Bongbong got out from the bathroom after taking a bath as they planned to go on a dinner together. Leni was sitting at the bed side waiting for him to be ready. She peacefully watched him dry himself with his towel.
"Bakit ganyan ka makatingin?" He asked. "Wala lang, ang gwapo mo kase." She replied as she walked towards him  and hugged him, gently caressing his bare chest as she flashed a smile next to his eyes.
"Ang gwapo gwapo ng mahal ko..." She complimented as she continued doodling around his trunk with her fingers. "Leni..." He uttered as he knew the sexual tension rising. She knew that he felt what she was trying to do already. She initiated a kiss and wrapped her arms around him.
"Pwede bang dito nalang tayo? Bukas nalang tayo lumabas." She suggested and went back into their escalating kiss.
He suddenly broke off from the kiss and held her about an inch away from him. She looked at him with vexation. "Sorry..." He apologized randomly. "Bakit?" She asked. "I'm... not on the mood right now." He changed his mind about confessing. He knew it wasn't the right time.
"Oh... Okay sige..." She frowned a bit. "Sorry talaga, mahal. Pagod lang talaga ako. Sorry." He continued.
"Okay lang, mahal..." She pulled off a soft smile. "Aam kong pagod ka sa trabaho. Pwede naman sa ibang araw nalang." She replied and hugged him. He hugged him back and just felt more bad to see how understanding and perfect she was. He felt like he didn't deserve her. She was too good for him.

Hi! Heyo! Salutations!
Yooo!
Hi! How's it going? Haha, I ask this as if I'm waiting for an immediate response...
Ok, so I've been scrolling round here a bit and I noticed that a lot of you guys have similar interests such as: long conversations, discussions about weird conspiracy theories, obsessions with Harry Potter, and a taste for indie music ie. Arctic Monkeys (I mean no harm and I have nothing against anything that I listed above, I just wanted to point out this lil' observation I have made and maybe what others have made as well)
Anyways, the name's Cin (well Cindy, but I like Cin because it's shorter... not that Cindy isn't already short as it is...). So, I believe that this is the third? time I'm submitting something on here and I've met a but of splendid people (some as of right now I'm still "friends" with!) but things didn't turn out well (mainly me) and we lost touch. Now that I'm older and (I hope) a bit more mature, I decided to give this another go! :)
So the basics: I'm 16 (almost 17..) (<-- this is also another observation I've made! A lot of us are turning 17 soon... Man, don't you just love aging??), I live in the United States of America (Southern California, woo!), I also struggle with mental thingy things, mainly anxiety disorders (Selective Mutism) and depression because that's a thing _._ (I don't take any medication for it though because my family is more for the alternative methods of medication unless situations are like oober severe), I'm also not the best conversationalist, but that doesn't mean I've lost interest in you or anything, I just don't know how to use my words at times, so if we do end up talking, do be patient with me :)
Oh, también hablo español! Pero estoy más comoda hablando inglés solomente porque es mi lengua primera. Si no hablas inglés y solo hablas español, es perfectamente bien! Puedo hablar contigo en español si quieres! ( haha (not really, but more advance than most) bilingual problems... ammirite)
Anywho, here's a list of my interests!:
Interests:
Books- I'm always reading something, whether it'd be the newspaper or an article online. When I do read novels, I tend to read Arthurian based novels, YA, mysteries, or supernatural/paranormal. My favorite books/book series are: The Name of this Book is Secret, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Gilda Joyce, Enola Holmes, Molly Moon, The Catcher in the Rye, The Canterbury Tales, Star Girl, Notes From a Teenage Underground (and that's only to name a few ha). Some of my favorite authors include: Mitch Albom, Jerry Spinelli, and Ellen Hopkins (those are the only ones I can name off the top of my head)
Films- I myself haven't watch a bunch of movies, I haven't been to the theater in like a year and a half ago. But I still admire films. I am currently taking a film class in high school and I love it! I love writing scripts (although it tends to be such a pain xp and not that mine are any good haha) and I also love the whole cinematography factor, all those different shot are A++ lovely (some I'm still learning how to perform though -.-)! I'm totally down if you want to co-write a script with me because that'd be cool! (just tell me what script writing programs you use and we'll see from there!). A few of my favorite movies are: August Rush, Scott Pilgrim, St. Trinian's, Sing Street, Like Sunday, Like Rain, A Brilliant Young Mind (or X + Y in the UK), How to Follow Strangers, Jack and the Cuckoo Clock Heart, and Hugo (Basically almost anything that has either Freddie Highmore or Asa Butterfield because they are my babes and I just really like their acting (and faces(and voices lol))).
Music- So, I have no real music taste. It's more like the "if I like it, then I like it" sort of thing, but if you want to know what I do listen to, here's my Spotify (hopefully I hyperlinked it correctly xp) so you can check that out (if you'd like of course)! Also, it'd be nice if you give that a follow aha, I think my playlists are pretty dope or fire (whatever you kids are saying nowadays lol).
Television Shows- Now I am very picky about what I watch so I'd like to say I don't watch much, but that'd be a lie haha. What I did enjoy watching was Skins (those relationships tho!!! 💕💕💕💕), Criminal Minds (Matty Double G, my main man 💕💕💕💕💕), Misfits (Yo I was very iffy about this until I found out that both an Irish guy and a Welsh guy were playing dynamic roles and I just have a soft spot in my heart for those "types" of guys haha so it got me hooked until I got to series 5 or so), The Messengers (another great television show dropped by the CW *cry*), House, Dance Academy (Did y'all hear about the movie in the making???), Freaks and Geeks, Degrassi (YO BOI HOW 'BOUT THAT NEW SEASON!!), The Inbetweeners (I'd be lying if I said I didn't see myself in at least one character from that show lol), . Some shows I'm currently watching are Portlandia (I hate it but like it's so good..?? ;-;), Rebelde (I remember watching this as a little girl and I still love it!), Sherlock (gotta watch that new season but I've already heard/ seen so many spoilers I already cried ;-;), The Get Down (Jaden Smith ammirite??)... and a lot more, just ask...
Anime- Ok, so I'm not a hard core anime fan or a weeb, I just dabble a bit into the anime/ manga sector of things (boku no pico ammirite hahahahaha please stop me). But yeah I like a few animes and mangas. I've recently watched Kimi No Na Wa and it was so beautiful ;-; the last time I cried/yelled that much was when I watch Clannad (and man, there are already tears forming in my eyes as I speak, that was a really touching anime 💕💕)
I take reccomendations for any of those bullet points because I like new things!! :))
So dislikes, I don't really dislike anything, just the regular stuff you see others put on their posty things as well ie. homophobes, misogynists, etc.
What I'm looking for: currently internet buddies from anywhere and everywhere, race, gender, sexuality, it doesn't matter! I just wish to speak to people I can talk to (hopefully every day) and just converse about all sorts of things.
Haha, so if y'all are still reading this then congrats on putting up with my ever so long "about me" introduction and my abuse of parentheses and exclamation marks! (<-- see haha)
If you want to contact me then you can either email me at: cindyr . mails @ gmail . com (of course without the spaces)
or
message me here at smolangstchild (again, hopefully that hyperlink works!)
I also have other sorts of social media ie. Snapchat (I use this the most), Skype, Kik, Instagram (some I use more than others though! only because I don't have enough storage space on my phone to download all at once) if you want to talk through those instead just notify me which one you prefer!
And if you are someone who I've already talked to and things just didn't work out, please don't be afraid to say hi because I'm down to give it another go and try to become friends (again)! :)
Hopefully that's it because now that I scroll up and down, this turned out to be realllyyyyy long and I'm truly sorry for that!! I hope you have a good (or at least decent) day! :)))

back in the day
Boyfriend held onto his microphone with a strong grip, staring down at the dulled, black surface that triggered memories in his mind. this wasn't the mic he used in his everyday quests of rap battling, no. this was, what he used to call, his battle mic. It was a pretty lame name, but now it holds loads of sentimental value.
Back when he and Pico were dating, yes he dated in his middle school, his parents couldn't tell him he wasn't allowed to, he would often hang out with his friends, Nene and Darnell. He actually enjoyed Pico's friends a lot. Nene helped get him in touch with his feminine side, and Darnell would give him guys talk about things Pico hated talking about. Being together with them had its downsides of course. he was occasionally dragged into their hijinks, which would get him pretty beat up. He and Pico even argued over it. Boyfriend didn't mind, he thought it was cool in all honesty, but Pico didn't want him getting hurt anymore, and his parents might start noticing the cuts and bruises. It gave Boyfriend a bright idea.
________________________________________________________________________________
"Mom! I'm heading out!"
"Okay sweetie! Be back BEFORE ten, okay?"
Bee rolled his eyes, then closed the front door of his home behind him. He had a bright idea. A dangerous one, but it was totally smart. He skated his way down to the lesser developed area of Newgrounds City, which already put him in a bit of danger. He was the brightest thing there. Stopping near an old, rusty bus drop off, he took out his phone. Maybe he should tell the others he was there, just in case anything went wrong. He stopped himself though. Nene would panic and tell Darnell and Pico. Darnell would doubt the idea and tell Pico. And Pico... He would come down there himself just to chew him out.
he shook his head to clear his thoughts, then pocketed his phone. He was already there. there was no point in going back.
He had a couple hours to put his new skills to the test. Did he start training only a week ago? yes. Was he impatient to prove himself? Very much so. Was this a good idea? Hm.. probably not, but he'll get nowhere if he doesn't believe in himself!
He set down his board, then began his walk down to the little ice cream parlor a couple minutes from him. He remembered Pico saying something about it swarming with Uberkids. This was his ticket. He held his microphone tight in his sweaty palms. it seemed like the parlor was the only thing using power around here. All the other buildings were either dark, devoid of life, or destroyed, as if fires have been set and holes have been blasted through the walls.
He stepped foot at the door, already feeling the refreshing cool air brushing against him from the other side of the glass. He swallowed hard, then pulled the door open. He couldn't see anyone behind the counter. That alone made him nervous. "H..Hello?" His voice quivered, despite his best attempt to sound tough. Standing in front of the selection of ice cream is when he noticed a kid his height standing there. It was one of them.
Boyfriend smiled nervously. these guys don't really talk huh? He gripped his microphone to comfort himself. He was now realizing he didn't really have a plan, and he was mostly daydreaming about kicking ass on the way there, but now this felt super stupid. Maybe they won't wanna fight? "Uh.. hi? Can I get a chocolate mint ice cream?" Maybe ice cream would make him feel better. The other was about to comply with his order, but seemed to stop, staring into Boyfriend's eyes for longer than he was comfortable with. No doubt they knew him, he was literally always with Pico.
the way he recoiled confirmed his thoughts, and before he knew it, he had a gun pointed at him. "Bad idea.." bee murmured before immediately ducking as a shot was fired in his previous position. "Oh shit! Shit!" He scrambled off the floor, making a run for the front doors, which he kicked open with his foot. He could hear the uberkid chasing him down, firing shot after shot at his moving target.
Boyfriend ducked behind a dumpster for cover. His hands were shaking, and he felt like he was about to collapse. Wait no, he knew what this was. Adrenaline. He could call Pico.. Or he could handle this himself and prove he was fine with the other three. Right. He's not being brushed off anymore.
He waited for footsteps, hearing them get closer and closer to his location. Right when he saw the shadow, he flung himself out into the open. he heard gunfire, and felt a searing pain in his shoulder, but he ignored it. In one swift motion, he threw his mic at the kid, then yoinked it back. He had his eyes closed, so he had no idea what he really did, but when he opened them, he was holding the kid's gun.
"Ha! Hahaaa!!" Boyfriend laughed triumphantly, but quickly made more distance between him and the approaching opponent. He flung his mic again, pulling the cord down. The solid object made direct contact with the other's skull, tripping him up and flinging him face first into the pavement. With a wide grin, Boyfriend dropped the gun, then kicked it away behind him. "Not so useless now, am I?" He put his hands on his hips, but wasn't prepared for the next act.
The uberkid lifted himself up on shaky arms, and pulled a whistle from his pocket.
oh no..
"Oh! Wait! nono please!" Boyfriend held his hands up, but the shrill sound of the whistle cut him off. He knew what that meant. He could already feel the buildings around him come to life. They were probably waiting for the signal this whole time. Maybe they thought he had Pico, Nene, and Darnell with him.
He's really starting to think he should have called them.
Boyfriend began running without a second thought, passing the barely conscious kid on the ground. He needed to get to his board. he needed to get out of here.
He pulled out his phone and pressed on the first contact he could see. Pico. Oh great, now he had to get yelled at. he pressed call, hearing the gun fire begin to echo around the decrepit walls of the broken down area. Pico picked up on the second ring, a yawn following right after. "Bee-"
"I'M BEING CHASED BY UBERKIDS AND THEY'RE SHOOTING AT ME!!"
Silence crept between them for a moment before Pico responded, his voice dripping with a stern, serious tone. "Where are you." Boyfriend cried out at the feeling of another bullet grazing him, almost tripping over his foot. "Downtown! Near the ice cream parlor!" He heard Pico sigh heavily. "We're on our way. Get behind something." With that, the ginger hung up the phone.
Boyfriend felt relief wash over him at the news of backup on its way, however it was short lived when he felt a solid hit in his left arm. He gasped out in pain, the spot immediately boiling with heat. He tried to focus on his skate board but.. Oh god, they were already there.. he skidded to a halt, but quickly moved in a different direction. he hoped to god this alleyway didn't have a dead end. He tripped over an open garbage bag, tumbling over and rolling into a brick wall, hitting the back of his head.
His vision swirled, and he was in so much pain. He bit back tears and tried to stay quiet, doing that thing he saw Pico do when he got shot. he ripped off a piece of his shirt, then tied it around the wound. The pain was unbearable, but he had to be tough.
The gunfire stopped, supposedly because they didn't know where he was. All he had was his microphone.. It wasn't really a weapon.. But it could be.. He looked around, squeezing the hand of his injured arm. The sooner he got used to the pain, the sooner he could fight. Drawing in a breath, he stood up, suppressing the urge to curl up in a ball to wait for his saviors.
There stood two uberkids, thankfully unarmed, but still looked dangerous. He was quick to jump forward, throwing out his mic. The force of the sling wrapped the object around one of their necks, and with all his force, Boyfriend gave it a hard tug. He made direct contact with his opponent's face with the top of his head, hearing the crunch of his breaking nose. The buddy he was patrolling with quickly ran to help, grabbing Boyfriend by the shoulders, and the blue haired struggled against his grip.
He then smacked his head up into the uberkids' jaw, then kicked his leg up at his crotch, causing the clone to double over. "When Pico gets here you guys are FUCKED." He threatened them through grit teeth, kicking away the one in front of him. He didn't have it in him to kill them like the others did. If anything he just hoped he knocked them unconscious.
He breathed out as the two bodies collapsed under him. The adrenaline really did do wonders huh.. He limped his way out of the alley way to get to his skateboard, hopefully it was less crowded-
The moment he stepped out he saw a good five of these wastes of science grants running his way. "Son of a-" He began to back track, almost stumbling backward into the wall to hide. Welp, at least he did some cool fighting shit before he died. He squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for the sounds of gunfire to end his life.
Well, it didn't.. kill him when he heard it.
he cracked an eye open as blood splattered onto the pavement in front of him, but it wasn't his. He turned the corner to see no other than Nene, who jumped in the middle of them for dramatic affect. Pico covered her from some ways back, gradually making his way toward the scrap. It wasn't too long until Boyfriend heard an explosion, surprisingly nearby. He often forgets how bloody these fights are.
"Nene..!" Bee quickly rushes toward her, surprising both her and Pico. "Bee, wait!" The ginger yelled out, but Boyfriend didn't listen. The blue haired boy held up a hand for Pico to hold his fire, then threw his microphone to wrap around the neck of one minion about to grab Nene from behind. he tugged to give himself a speed boost, then lifted his legs to collide with his stomach, knocking him to the ground, the shorter standing on top.
"Wow Bee, where'd you learn that?" Nene smiled, impressed, and Boyfriend couldn't help but breathe out a laugh. "It's why I'm here." He admitted to her.
With all the immediate ubers handled, Darnell came down from one of the already destroyed buildings, seeming giddy as hell while Nene checked Boyfriend for any wounds. "Holy shit Bf! I saw what you did! Where the fuck did you learn to fight like that??" He clapped the boy on the back, which made him wince painfully, and the taller muttered an apology with another laugh. Pico was quiet, as to be expected. "Did you know you got shot in the leg?"
"I what."
Boyfriend looked down to see blood oozing out of his calf. Oh wow, he hadn't even felt it.
"N..No I didn't know that." He felt the pain wash over him though when he looked at out. "Wow that hurts!" He forced himself to laugh at it, and  Nene and Darnell happily lent him their shoulders to limp on. "Let's go, before he loses too much blood." Pico muttered, walking over to the rusty bench and grabbing his skateboard. Boyfriend already know how this talk was gonna go..
________________________________________________________________________________
The three kids easily helped boyfriend patch up his wounds. The worst hurdle was taking the bullets out of his arm and leg. He had to bite down on a towel for that.
Pico had him lie down on his bed, the boy no wearing one of his sweaters and a pair of his boxers since he had to shower. He texted his mom to ask if he could stay at Pico's, and being the understanding mother she was, she allowed it.
"Get better soon, okay Bee?" Nene waved as she walked out of Pico's bedroom, Darnell playfully saluting him. With those two gone, Boyfriend grew tense, watching Pico walk into his bathroom to clean up everything they used to dress his wounds. He felt bad about making them do all this. He knew it was his own fault he got in trouble like that. He should endure the punishment.
Pico came back, turning the light off as he left the room. Without a word, he sat down on his bed, then turned to look at Bee. They stared at each other for a moment, and Boyfriend's cheeks began to redden. Now wasn't the time to faun over his boyfriend-
"Uh.. I'm sorry.." He started, looking away in embarrassment. He couldn't read Pico's expression, and frankly he didn't want to. Pico put a hand on his face, drawing a slow breath, then letting it out. "bee, you could have gotten seriously hurt."
"I know I know! I just.. I wanted to.." Pico grunted before he could finish. "You wanted to put yourself in danger to, what, prove a point? What's the point in doing that if you might not live to prove it to people?!" Boyfriend flinched as he raised his voice, then winced at the dull throb he was met with from moving so suddenly. Pico sighed again, and without warning, leaned forward to gently hug onto Boyfriend's torso. The smaller's eyes widened, and his heartbeat increased. "I'm just.. glad you're okay. Don't.. Don't do that again, okay?"
Bee smiled brightly as Pico sat up. It always melted his heart when he smiled like that. "I promise! I obviously can't fight on my own like you can." He teased, then whined as Pico flicked his nose. "No dumbass. Since when do I fight armies without backup, huh?" He scoffed, and Boyfriend laughed again, gently rubbing his nose. "Yeah, yeah. I learned my lesson." Pico rolled his eyes. "You better have.." He leaned down and kissed Boyfriend on the forehead. He was dramatic about it, a happy squeal leaving him while the ginger simply rolled his eyes again. He should stop doing that, he could feel his sockets loosening already.
________________________________________________________________________________
Bee smiled at the memory. He was lucky enough to get away without any scars. Meeting Pico this week was tough. he could barely explain to Girlfriend why he started crying after that. He wasn't ready to tell her about it yet. He would soon though, he doesn't like hiding stuff. He loves her too much.
.......
"You up?"
The phone showed Pico was typing for a while.
"Ya, why"
"I wanna talk"

We're In This Together [Pico's School AU] Chapter 2 - Donut Rendezvous
Today was the day..
Wednesday..
It was a half day, being the day before a teacher work day. They didn't have school on that Thursday. Teachers had donuts available to them in the break room every Wednesday.
Pico and Darnell have been planning this for months.
They got the whole class on their side, having started a little protest in the cafeteria. "We're tired of adults hogging the sweets to themselves!" They cried out to the other students. "This time we take the sweets for ourselves!"
They were being normal at first, all arriving when the bell rang, sitting in their seats, and listening to the lecture. Most of the students shot each other knowing glances. Pico was the leader of this rendezvous, of course. On his signal, the others would move.
Ten minutes into class now, Bee was curious about the restlessness of the other students, looking around himself, having made eye contact with a few. Right, he's new. Pico had a grand idea. He'd lead in the front with him, like his queen of the army or something. He snickered at the thought, looking down at his blank paper. Right, perfect move. He and Darnell looked to each other, then nodded.
It felt quiet. Too quiet. The seconds ticked by loudly from the clock above them. Usually the teacher that buys the donuts would buy two boxes, which should be enough for two classes to feed each student one time.
Oh, right, the other class was in on it too. This would be big.
Pico stood up from his seat, slowly, as to not alarm the other students. Mrs. Fee's back was turned to the children, the woman mindlessly explaining some math equation and writing on the chalk board. He walked over to Bee, gently grabbing his hand. "Bee-" He almost started, but Pico covered his mouth, as to not alert Mrs. Fee as well. "Follow me.." He whispered. Bee nodded and stood quietly as well. The two shimmied from between the desks, and Pico held up one finger.
One...
Two....
Three...
The cacophony of screeching desks an chairs startled the woman up front, and many children began to yell at the top of their lungs, mostly those also known for causing trouble. A thunderous rumble of feet crossed the floor, and Pico raced for the classroom door, Bee just barely able to keep up with him. He threw the wooden slab open, and bolted out of the classroom, not looking back, but he could hear the monstrous amount of kids following him.
"Beep!! Beep bop!!" Bee cried over the noise, then heard the door next to theirs slam open. The second class took the message, and now raced after the other. Pico could hear Darnell's laughter over the noise as the group of students scattered around down the hall. It was a straight shot to the break room, right down the hall. Their school had no security, all they had to worry about were the teachers.
"What are you kids doing?!" The voice of one of the teachers rang out, muffled by the sound of stomping feet and ecstatic screams. "Scatter!!" Pico yelled out. Some of the taller kids blocked view of Pico, Darnell, and Bee, entering the room in which the donuts resided. Bee stood off to the side, hiding behind the wall as Darnell closed the door behind them. "B-Beep?? Brappity-"
"Yeah, you weren't here for instructions. You see, me and Darnell been planning this for a long time." Pico began to explain it to the shorty, quickly grabbing one of the boxes. Still warm. Nice. "Darnell grab a bag." Darnell saluted and went to look for a plastic bag. They would snag a little under half the donuts exclusively for themselves, being Darnell, Pico, Nene, Gigi, by Nene's begging, and Bee, because Pico said so.
"Bep bop.." Bee breathed out. Pico could damn there hear his heart thumping in his ears. It wasn't over yet. "Darnell, assess the situation." Pico then ordered. Darnell poked his head out the door. "No teachers in sight, sir." He responded. "Good, let's book it." Pico grinned maniacally, Darnell holding the door open for him and Bee.
"Boop bepoo?" Bee pointed at himself, and Pico raised a brow. Their next stop was their secret spot, but they had to go past the main office to get outside, since the doors were chained during the day. "Why did I grab you? Well, cause you would have been left alone in there with Cassandra." Pico gagged as he said her name. the goths wanted no part in it. He didn't care, more donuts for everyone else. "Now come on, there shouldn't be anyone in the office right now." He led the two past the glass room, which as he stated, was devoid of any staff. They most likely went to deal with the kids, which the screams still echoed faintly down the halls.
They scampered past the view of some cameras, then accessed the side door. The empty area behind some trees across the walkway was visible. They were in the home stretch. "Hey, Darnell, carry one of these will ya? My arms are dying." Pico huffed softly, and Darnell snurked. "Whatever you say, sissy." He teased. "Hey, I'm the leader of this whole operation. I ain't no sissy." The ginger shot back, making Bee giggle lightly.
They made it without error to the hiding spot in the trees. Bee fumbled with his hands awkwardly, staring at the bag of donuts Darnell held. Pico laughed a little, setting one of the boxes on top of the other on a tree stump. "Wait just a second there Bee." He walked over, elbowing the smaller's shoulder, who winced a little, but rubbed it with a goofy smile. "Those are the special donuts. We're gonna go heat them up in the lounge." Bee made a face. "During lunch dummy."
"There's a part two to this plan??" Darnell quickly asked. Pico shook his head. "I just know how to get in and out. Me and the janitor are on good terms. I'm close to him letting me into his closet." He nudged the brown boy's arm, and they made their way back into the building.
_______________
"Now, I don't know what's gotten into you kids, but this behavior is unacceptable."
Mrs. Fee had decided to give the kids a lecture after they all returned to their respective classrooms. "The only one who didn't leave was Cassandra, which means the rest of you get workbook homework for the rest of the week." Darnell groaned, but Pico had a shit eating grin on his face, his cheeks flushed in triumph. "Fucking worth it." He muttered, holding his fist out to Darnell. "Yeah, I guess." He responded with quiet laughter, returning the fist bump. the other kids probably thought it was worth it. Hell, Pico controlled the distribution of the donuts. They better think it's worth it or they ain't gettin' shit.
Pico looked over to Bee, who was smiling and kicking his legs a little, fiddling with his pencil. That whole ordeal must have filled him with quite the adrenaline. "Stick with me, and you'll be on top of the food chain dude." He had told him when they were coming back in. Bee didn't seem opposed to the idea, but he still didn't wanna scare him off. They did things like this pretty often. Having the parents Darnell had, usually others had to get involved so just those two, or three, including Nene, wouldn't get in trouble.
After the end of first period, Pico waited for Bee by the door, of course being teased by Nene and Darnell as they left. Bee stumbled a bit as he threw his big bag on his shoulders, walking over to Pico with a big smile on his face. "You like that chaos, huh?" He asked the boy, returning the grin. "Beep boop!" He responded, bouncing on his toes a bit, and they left the room.
"That's just how it is in this school. Of course I'm the instigator, got kind of a reputation. I make my father proud." Pico laughed a little. His ego was inflated as hell considering the dads he has. Well, dad. Steve didn't like to entertain the chaotic nature those two shared. Said he didn't like to lose sleep while those two jousted with frying pans at two AM.
"Bep bop.. Skdoo beep.." Bee muttered softly, a bit of a bitter tone to his voice. "What, your dad doesn't like that kind of mess?" Bee shook his head in response. Must be on closer terms with his mom huh? Yeah, he's lucky he had a dad who didn't suck ass. "Well when lunch rolls around, you can have your donuts, okay?" Pico reminded him to reassure him. He didn't wanna see the sad look on the kid's face. He was too bright to be frowning like that. "We could work on that homework together too, if it'll make you feel better." He then offered him. There it is, that bright smile.
Man this kid was just so precious..
_______________
History was mostly uneventful, save for Bee falling asleep in the middle of writing a sentence. He must have crashed from all the excitement. It was so abrupt that his face banged against the desk, and his head shot back up as he let out a yelp. Pico snurked from beside him, and heard some others begin to laugh as well.
Once the class had ended, Pico made sure he and Boyfriend were the first ones out, so they could run and grab the donuts. Thankfully the boxes were still there, untouched. "Come to papa." Pico rubbed his hands together, and lifted the boxes. he hoped all the glaze didn't melt off, it's hot out here.
They made their way back into the school, walking in through the side door to the cafeteria, where all the students waited eagerly for their treats. Darnell, Nene, and Gigi caught up to them when they saw them enter. "Wow, you actually managed to pull it off. I'm impressed." Gigi commented lightly as they set up the boxes on the end of one of the lunch tables. Pico cleared his throat, his cheeks reddening as he put a hand on his chest. "Well, they don't call me Pico "danger" Neil-Griffiths for no reason."
"literally no one calls you that." Nene snorted. Bee held back a laugh, turning his head away, while Darnell just openly cackled. "Whatever, I like my name." Pico scoffed in response, then opened one of the boxes. He was right to be worried. It's a mess in there. "You sure they'll want these?" Nene asked him, doubt in her voice. Pico waved his hand dismissively. "They're idiot kids, they'll take anything with sugar in it." Bee reached for it, but Pico smacked his hand away. "We get the nice donuts. Darnell?" Said boy held up the large plastic bag of almost half a box of donuts. "You sneaky.." Gigi mumbled, sweating nervously. "That's capitalism for you. Now take the best looking ones outta here, and we'll let them have the rest- quit your yappin', you'll get your turn!" Pico glared at some kids that had gathered around the table, and allowed his buddies to grab whatever ones they wanted. He had a mind to sock one of these greedy children in the face.
He often forgets he's a child himself, but he doesn't associate with these gremlins.
Once each of them were satisfied with what they got, the group began to move to leave out of the cafeteria. Pico stayed behind to whistle, signaling to the others to come get their donuts. And like a pack of starving dogs, the children rushed over, once again, save for the goth kids, who glared at Pico knowingly. the ginger only flipped the bird at them, and ran off with the others.
"What are you guys doing for the half day?" He heard Gigi talking to the others. She and Bee were walking pretty closely. Pico stayed back a bit, narrowing his eyes at the little pit in his stomach. He felt nauseous, or something. He didn't know, but he didn't like it. He didn't linger on it for too long though, noticing Bee glance behind him. "Bep!" He slipped between Nene and Darnell, who looked to see where he was going. They cooed when they saw Bee grab Pico's hand, which made the taller flush exponentially. Geez this guy could pull. He must have been an annoying toddler.
"C'mon man, how are we gettin' in?" Darnell then asked as Pico was brought to the front. Pico laughed to hide how flustered he was, then cleared his throat. Literally everyone, except for Bee, weren't buying it. Oh whatever, he didn't need to convince everybody. "Simple, just walk in." Pico walked over and opened the door. "We're on schedule, so the teachers should be on their way in a little bit. Hurry and throw that in there." The others filed inside, looking around and snooping through drawers. "Nice. Sharp scissors." Nene pulled a pair of scissors out of the metal cabinet, and Bee flopped onto the couch, letting out a content, "Beeeeeeep.." Gigi laughed and sat beside him, causing his face to go red.
Pico forced himself to look away, as to not seem weird.
_______________
As everyone wouldn't shut the hell up about, school ended early. Pico was so ready to leave, he even had a couple spare donuts. He stashed them away in his backpack for safe keeping. "Geez P, how do you understand Bee so well so fast?" Darnell had asked them, the group hanging out in the front of the school. "I dunno, it's like.. telepathic." Pico looked to the blue headed boy in question, who was mindlessly tapping away on his phone a a bit away from them. "Bee, you're sitting in the middle of the staircase, someone can trip over you." Pico pulled him closer, just barely missing some kid who wanted to launch himself off the top stair. Dumbass..
"Bop.." Bee mumbled softly, turning his body to face Pico, then continued what he was doing. Gigi and Nene talked with each other some bit away. He didn't care to listen in, they were probably chatting about girl stuff.
"Hey, who the hell rides a limo?" Darnell grumbled in question, and Gigi's head shot up. The horn from said vehicle honked loudly, and some people stared at it. "God, that's so embarrassing.." Gigi covered her face. "That's mine.."
"What?!"
"Beep?!"
The group had shouted simultaneously, and the red head girl giggled. "What are you, rich??" Darnell questioned her, and she made a nervous sound. "I'll explain some other time. See you guys!" She gripped her backpack and ran off, the group watching as the door opened for her, and she hopped in. It left just as quickly as it came. "Huh.." Darnel murmured thoughtfully. "New objective. Find out if Gigi is rich." Pico joked lightly, and Nene scoffed.
"Knock it off. You've done enough today." She went and sat with the three. "Hey Bee, you wanna hang out with us today? We always stop at this playground on the way home." Pico then offered. Bee hummed in thought, but paused when he noticed Pico give him the puppy eyes. He giggled, then held up his phone. "Bee bo bop." He responded. "Is that.. a yes?" Nene questioned. "He'll text his mom." Pico answered for her, standing up from his spot. "Wizard." Darnell mumbled, and followed suit.
Thankfully Bee was able to go. Pico thought he would have to rant to his dad about mean parents.
_______________
Pico wanted to do everything and absolutely nothing all at once.
He sat in his favorite spot near the slide, Bee sitting beside him. "Behp beppo." He muttered nervously, and Pico scoffed. "We steal the playground every day, those kids should know better by now." He huffed.  Bee went quiet after a moment, and Pico looked up to him staring at him. His cheeks flushed red. "Uh.. What?" He then asked. The boy only responded quietly with "Hm?" as if he were spacing out. Pico clicked his tongue and looked away again. "Hey, you got your mic, right?" He then asked. Bee popped out of his trance almost immediately, and nodded excitedly. He reached into his back pocket and pulled it out. "Bee-dep?" He then asked the other, and he nodded, a light smile on his face.
Bee seemed ecstatic to sing for him again, and so he did, gaining Nene and Darnell's attention as well over some time. Just like at P.E, they listened to him sing for quite some time. It was calming, Pico would argue he enjoyed it the most.
"You know, you should hang at my place sometime. I got games and stuff." Pico offered, about an hour after Bee's little jam session. "Beep?" He turned to look at him. leaning against the bars of the playground structure. "I mean, I live with Darnell when my dads go off in the army. Oh, you get to meet my dads sometime! They're cool. I'll be completely honest, one of them will tease you for speaking in bee-bops." He then snickered lightly at the thought.
"Baps?" Bee tilted his head, holding up a two with his fingers. "Yeah, technically, I call them both dad. They're real close, but they're not married or in a relationship or anything." Pico then hummed softly. Sure they also sleep in the same bed when they're at home, but that's just because it's more comfortable than bunkers out where they are.
Bee hummed in thought, then nodded. Cool. It's a date.
Yes, he meant to think that.
It's a date.
Pico's mind swirled with thoughts of what he could do when they met up again. He pulled one of the donuts out of his back pack. It was a little mushed, but still good. He ate at it slowly, wanting to savor the taste. He could eat cold donuts, they were fine. He caught Bee staring at him again, then raised a brow. "What? What's up?" He then asked, his voice muffled with food. Bee's cheeks flushed, and he pointed at the donut. "Oh.. I can give you a piece." Pico looked down and tore off a piece of the treat, handing it to Bee, who took it thankfully. He popped the entire piece in his mouth, a happy "mmmmffff" emitting from his throat. Pico laughed a little. "You like donuts, huh?" He teased him, and Bee curled up a bit, still chewing away happily so he could get every little bit.
Pico spent the rest of that afternoon with the three. Darnell and Nene definitely understood Bee a little bit more after today.
Even if it is just a little bit.
