Johnny  +  not being able to look Robby’s way

Johnny has a tell when he is — for want of a better phrase — ashamed of himself. He looks down or away and very lightly shakes his head. To be fair, most people react similarly in embarrassment. It’s not something too peculiar.

But Johnny is very specific in his movements. More importantly, it almost always is about Robby. He practically cannot look him in the eye.

omg hello!! :)) thats such a fun question bc ultimately i think its a given that gifmaking is kind of a time consuming/tough process so i choose to make sets out of love and dedication for the media i have 😭 regardless of whether it might be a flop set or not because i am the target audience 🤭 but usually when i have an idea i open up the 500th google doc titled 'unnamed document' and jot down some bullet points abt what media i need, what the gifset will be, what the effects will be, and so on 🫡 and then i have to hype myself up to start screencapping bc thats always so tedious and time consuming but i always go back to reference my bullet points on the google doc

that “you’ll call, right?” gifset is killing me they’re such good actors cas is literally like “oh no. oh no i’m gonna have to do everything in my power to protect this man forever” and dean’s face is “yeah this is way too intimate but you know what i kinda dont care anymore” 😭😭😭😭😭😭

that scene makes me go FERAL it’s the same episode as “the worst part was dean, trying so hard to be loyal” and it’s cas looking at him and realizing, for the 500th time, how GOOD Dean Winchester is and he knows he’s going behind his back with crowley but he’s convincing himself it’s for the greater good but it’s also in dean’s best interest to not get involved, and cas, always with the i would give anything not to have you do this convinces himself its better to go into a civil war alone than to ask this man to give up anything else and meanwhile dean, who even after all this time is still frightened by how much he trusts this angel but he does and he can’t seem to stop even though sam and bobby are suspicious, and he’s staring at cas and silently begging him to prove them wrong because he can’t handle losing him and they just stare and i want to scream!!!!!!!!

Hi! So I would literally kill for anything based on the last gifset you reblogged, where all the Targaryens escaped to Essos. Maybe with a dash of JonxDany and/or JonxRhaenys? :D

It isn’t the first fight he’s had with his brother.  it isn’t even the 500th fight he’s had with his brother.  But this time, when Aegon and Jon start to get into once again, Aegon shouts, “You’re the reason we’re in this mess, living like nomads, safe nowhere!  It’s because of you and your whore mother!”

Jon vaguely hears Daenerys gasp before he is on Aegon, wailing on him with rage so powerful, he does not even care if he kills his brother.

Viserys, Jon Connington, Duck, and Haldon are all trying to pull them apart when Rhaenys gets involved.  There has always been a hierarchy to their little knot, an understanding that Viserys was oldest so he knew the most about things related to Westeros; next came Rhaenys and Aegon, the true heirs to the Iron Throne, the ones to be protected at all costs; and then it was Jon and Dany, both infants when their family was destroyed and both rather useless to the cause of restoring the Targaryen dynasty.  Jon knew once he was pulled off of his half-brother, he’d be thumped by Connington and Viserys both for daring to raise a hand to his future king.

Which is why Jon is stunned dumb when Rhaenys grabs Aegon by the face, her fingers squeezing his cheeks tight, and growls, “You apologize to him right now.”

Aegon’s violet eyes are wide with disbelief.  “What?  No!  It’s true!  If his mother hadn’t - “

Rhaenys cracks him hard across the face, hard enough that Viserys and Haldon lose their grip on him and he stumbles backward.  “Lady Lyanna was Father’s wife just as Mother was.  Jon is no more responsible for what they did than we are.  Would you let a man besmirch our mother’s memory?”

Aegon shakes his head.

“Then you will not do it to his mother either.  We are here because our father was careless and the Usurper is a man without honor.  Do not forget that.”  She looks to Connington and Duck, both of whom still have hold of Jon.  “Release him.”

“My lady - “

“I am your princess,” Rhaenys corrects, glaring at Connington, “and I will not repeat myself.”

The older men comply, and Daenerys runs to Jon, trying to study the cuts on his face while Aegon went off to regain his battered pride.  Jon watches Rhaenys disappear into their borrowed home and murmurs an apology to Dany, who hates violence.

He finds Rhaenys later in the gardens near the fountain, a book in her hands.  As he takes a seat beside her, Rhaenys marks her place, raising a dark eyebrow in silent question.

Finally he says, “If Father hadn’t eloped with my mother, none of this would’ve happened.”

“And if Tywin Lannister had agreed, my mother would’ve married the Kingslayer and I’d have been a lion instead of a dragon.  There are a thousand things that could’ve changed that would have meant you and I were not sitting here, but they did.  And what our parents did is not our fault.”

“You don’t…You don’t blame my mother?”

Rhaenys smiles, tucking a dark curl behind her ear.  “Oh, I did.  There was a time when I hated her more than anyone, even the Usurper.  But…she was six-and-ten when she died, when you were born.  I am older than that.  Soon you will be too.  Your mother was young, and our father should have known better.  If there is a villain in your origin, Jon, it is not Lyanna Stark.”

He has always loved Rhaenys more than Aegon.  It has never even seemed like a question because Rhaenys is smart and kind and wonderful.  But Jon does not think he’s ever loved her more than right then.

“Are you - Are you truly going to wed your Martell cousin?”

Rhaenys’s smile begins to curdle.  “We cannot take back the Seven Kingdoms without an army and strong allies.  Connington is right; it is what needs to be done.”

“But Aegon - “

“Aegon will wed some other high lord’s daughter, maybe a Tyrell girl.  They were loyal during the war.”  Rhaenys cups his bruised cheek.  “Do not worry too much about me, Jon.  No one forces me to do anything.”

You could marry me, Jon almost blurts out, thinking of Haldon’s lessons, of how the Targaryens wed brother to sister for centuries.  And they were only half-siblings beside, less likely to bring madness down upon them.

Almost as if she can read his thoughts, Rhaenys kisses his brow and says, “You’re destined for someone too, Jon.”

Jon doesn’t doubt that.  He just doubts it is anyone other than Rhaenys.

TDB Rewatch: Girls and Boys on Film (4x15)

Welcome to Season 4! This week we’re doing Girls and Boys on Film!

Will states that movies and films are another way to calm people down from the day-to-day anxieties, in this case, himself being left at the altar by Emma in the last episode. He sets up a mash-up Boys Vs. Girls competition, based on songs from films. The Glee Club preps up for the competition as they perform their 500th musical performance on the show. As the Glee Club prepares for the competition, Finn assists Will in finding Emma successfully. Back in New York, Santana gets too comfortable in the Bushwick apartment for Kurt and Rachel's liking. When Adam, Kurt, Rachel, and Santana are snowbound, Santana digs out the dirty secret to who Brody really is and also finds out Rachel's pregnancy test results. Marley and Finn make confessions about kisses that do not end up well.

It was directed by Ian Brennan and written by Michael Hitchcock.

Sundays: Pretty much the kick off day for the week, and also where Meta Monday and First Listen Friday are distilled into.  So – do that rewatch, dust off that old meta, listen to that music again, then write about it and put it in the tags!
