okay so basically reality shifting is the process of using affirmations, manifestation, meditation, and a few other things to shift your consciousness into another, mroe desired reality. its based off of the multiverse theory, that there are infinite universes with every impossible possibility.

some use it as a way of escapism, some use it as a way to explore various fictional universes, some use it as a way to date whoever it is that they have a crush on. there are some who literally keep everything the same except for one small change. it honestly depends on the person and their end goal

and the great thing about it is that you can make it whatever you want. because its based off the idea of infinite universes, there will always be at least one universe that perfectly fits everyones most desired existence.

and it is real. its not a mental illness, its not schizophrenia or hallucinations, its not some huge joke. its real. there are hundreds of thousands of people that do it, if not more. i do understand your scepticism though, it does sound kind of wild at first, but i promise that its real.

i have...not watched outer banks in like- 2 years (i never even saw season three) but it's fiiiine

and this is mostly just gonna be me rambling nonsensically about juno cause i have been- rethinking some stuff for her lately

but mainly i think about her and jj

i actually- lose my mind a little every time i think about her and jj ngl. because they're so... two sides of the same coin. they are also Siblings™️ not literally but also like..... maybe? if i listen to the demon in my brain 👀

she did canonically steal his girlfriend and- has not apologized for it. but in her defense, sarah was like- really hot.

whenever i get around to season three, this is the vibe i am manifesting for her. because she really just gets.... more and more violent every season. it's fun.

honestly at this point her grip on reality is tethered very strongly to like.... jj, john b, and sarah. and those are- not the three most rational people on the planet

Dead was she… as she layed on the once enchanting flowers outside their lovely house… now stained with blood as the merciless rain pours from the heavens…. Her lifeless figure laying oh-so gently and softly as the rain poured on her, her vision became blurry as she was barely breathing. Whispered her lover’s name… hoping that before she leaves this world, at least the last thing she sees is her warm and loving darling… but that could not be… her eyes became heavy… her hearing became subdued and muffled.. “when I see you again….” she muttered out before closing her eyes as the rain caressed her cheeks and the flowers hold her in glory…

He held her in his arms. Close. He closed her eyes as he regret not coming home sooner… the gentle wind swayed the broken lovers…. As he saw her beautiful eyes one last time…. “At least let me hear her voice…” 

At her grave finally, he couldn’t bare the pain…. First it was the flowers that were stained with the precious blood of his lover…. Now it was her grave… that was soaked in blood of another….

the man finally stopped pacing and looked at himself in the nearest reflective surface. he grabbed his brightly colored mask in a place where it coincided with the wig cap he was wearing and pulled the both of them off at once, his hair spilling out to frame his face. he stared at himself some more, not quite knowing what he was wishing for.

he felt himself sink to the ground and, before he even realized it, he was wiping tears from his face. the tears kept coming, but he still kept wiping them, the spandex gloves creating a texture against his skin that he wasn't quite sure how to feel about

he looked down at the spider he'd ever so carefully painted onto this stupid uniform. at the webbed lines and the general mess of color and lack of consistency

he stared at his symbol of heroism. his way of encouraging himself. his own part in the vast multiverse he strongly believed was out there

he only wept more

the man knew he could never live up to the man he'd always wished he could be. ever since he was a child and he pictured the man in blue and red, swinging across the sky and stopping crime and...being a hero. even if not everyone agreed, it didn't matter

he was a hero and a friend. he could save tons of people from mortal danger and then turn around and give a lost man directions. that had always been what he wanted to be.

who was he kidding, though? he wasn't anybody's hero. no one would ever be in danger and look to him for help. he wasn't a hero and he never would be, no matter what kind of animal bit him, radioactive or not

he wiped the drying tears away and pulled his gloves off, setting them on the ground next to him with his mask

thinking about elwenn, my stupid elf druid who lived in self-imposed exile for 10 years after her girlfriend leanna drowned in the river they were having a secret rendezvous at night at, how she only came out of the exile to help save people with a group of other various fuckups. about how the first real town they visited out of the frozen wastelands introduced her to anna, a reborn that looks like leanna, that woke up 8 years ago on a necromancer’s table and was rescued 3 years ago. about how she cried when she saw pale people with white hair but no emotion showed on her face.

thinking about the feeling of having the wind knocked out of her that elwenn had when she walked into that combat arena and saw those eyes, the one good green eye that wasn’t quite right, but it was on her face, beneath the dark makeup to hide the blue lips, the sutures to hold her together, that familiar red hair.

thinking about anna and her group joining elwenn and co for their first job with the guild, supposed to only make sure they don’t get killed. thinking about anna putting herself in between elwenn and a hobgoblin she missed during a night watch and taking damage for her.

thinking about the fact that the very first job elwenn saw on that board was about a monster drowning lovers in that cursed river. how when they reached that spot in the river anna started spitting up water and the last words leanna said to elwenn. how she projected leanna’s memories of that last day to everyone around, showed everyone how leanna saw elwenn search and search and then give up ten years prior. im going to make myself cry actually
