What would be Blinkys and Arrggghhs reaction be to Y/N putting string/jewelry across their horns?

Trolls instintually like being pampered. It's a bonding activity amongst their kind after battle and it's how mates and loved ones show they care. Mom's lick and preen whelps hair, battlemates and spar partners patch wounds and clean armor, and mates, mates show the utmost care and affection while taking care of their partner.

Perhaps its because they've been at war for so long and forgot many of the old ways or perhaps its because its fun and reminds them of better times but if you give a troll a spa day they'd become very happy and lethargic. Even Gunmar couldn't resist something every troll has experienced and craves.

Now one doesn't simply put jewellery on a troll. No, no, no there are many steps to it Blinky explains as you walk in on him grooming Aarrrgh and ask to help. First you have to scrub and file their horns til their sharp and clean. Second you have to wash and brush out their manes. And its a whole long process that takes all night for them to complete. Or maybe Blinky lied to get some cuddle time and gentle pampering from his favorite human and beloved mate. Who knows?

As you finished tying Aarrghs mossy hair into neat little braids he nuzzled into you gently, rumbles coming deep from his chest sending vibrations through your very being. As you gave him snout and horn scratches he was in heaven making pleased noises. The little beads braided into his once messy mane tinkle against each other and he clearly enjoys the sound as he shakes his head a bit to listen. Gold rings with emeralds are placed on his horns as well. Blinky sweet as he is, can be prone to jealously. He smirks and pulls you into his embrace stealing you away.

Aarrrgh makes a whining sound and Blinky smiles mischeviously. He pats the bed so Aarrrgh will follow and you can all cuddle.

Smiling up at them happy their happy Blinky kisses you as Aarrrgh continues to nuzzle against you making you smell like him. Two of Blinkies hands weave through your hair as two more massage you. Aarrrggs arms encircle you both so your all cuddled together and warm in your shared bed.

"Thankyou love." Blinky hums silver shifting on his horns as he leans in to be closer to you. You smile in response humming as your nuzzled and kissed and pampered just as much as you pampered them.

"My pleasure." You respond beaming in joy at this new experience and the bonding that comes with it.

Almost everyone in TOA, Trollhunters is autistic coded omg, did you see Jim and Claire in episode 17?! TOTALLY AUTISTIC.

Okay, Jim might not be autistic, but he surely has some form of ADD or ADHD at the least!

And Toby with his love for rocks? That's gotta be a special interest. Also his ability to just smell a sandwich and be able to tell what's in it, he knows what he likes and he can recognize if even the slightest thing is off.

Claire has a special interest for theatre and plays of course, like she wouldn't be interested in Papa skull and their hamlet shirt if not!!

Blinky is a history fan, totally his special interest. All that information on their history in both trolls and humans (not much on humans but still) doesn't seem neurotypical to me. Even history teachers probably wouldn't be able to hold that much history.

Aarrrgh, he's got some trouble communicating his emotions and all those obvious autistic things, how could he not be autistic?! Not only conveying his emotions, but also his words. He doesn't communicate as much as other people do, and even when he does it's only using simple, easy to understand words.

TLDR; Everyone in Trollhunters is neurodivergent somehow.

EDIT: ALSO KREL FROM 3BELOW, IN THE MOVIE HE SAYS HE FOCUSES BETTER WITH MUSIC ON, I DO TOO, AND I’M AUTISTIC AND I FOCUS BETTER WITH MUSIC, HE’S AUTISTIC BECAUSE I SAY SO.

OKAY.

SO. I just finished watching Rise of The Titans, and here’s what I think. (WARNING. SPOILERS BELOW THE LINE)

For all those who said it’s “the worst movie they’ve ever watched” and that “Dreamworks really messed it up”, I don’t think that’s the case. Yes, sure the m-preg Steve wasn’t exactly the best way to go, and maybe having Jim reset time with Toby becoming the new Trollhunters wasn’t what we wanted to see but in all other aspects of the movie, it was really good! And I wish people would stop going after the animators and director about how bad it was when in reality, it’s just a movie, it’s not the end of the world. If you wanted a different ending, make your own movie that had just as well developed characters and just as beautiful graphics, and stop coming after others hard work.

The cinematics were phenomenal with the animation quality skyrocketing from the first Trollhunters series, the fight scenes that happen through pretty much the entire movie were amazing visually, and in my opinion, the storyline was really good as well.

Of course, like all movies, there is things I would change if I had made it. Let’s list a few, shall we?

1) The whole Steve scenario that was sort of disturbing, but at the same time a small piece of comedic relief from the serious and darker nature of the movie.

2) Having Aja seem like she doesn’t want to fight for the planet even though she lived there and got emotionally attached to it the same way Krel did, and just wants her idea to be the idea they went with.

3) The ending. Enough said I think.

But even though there is things I would change, I have more good things to say about it than bad.

1) The animation. Again, enough said. (Like really, did you see Jim’s eyes 😍)

2) The real emotions coming from Jim as he rollercoasters through trying to figure out his new place in the world and the team without his amulet.

3) Honestly, the storyline. Though there was some questionable moves, in my opinion the story itself was fairly solid. Trying to protect Nari, and trying to help Jim get his amulet back were all part of the bigger “they’re going to destroy the world” picture.

Still kinda depressed we didn’t get a StrickLake wedding but tHaTS FiNE😭

So if someone asked me if I recommend ROTT, I would for sure say yes I do.

(Remember this is just my opinion, and everyone else is entitled to their own opinions on the movie) 🤷‍♀️

Oh an idea , what if in lore arrrgh and jim bonded over both being forced in a role where they basically had no choice to refuse and them having to fight constantly because giving up/surredening meant death or whatever

The circunstances are different , but the trauma in the base of it is more or less the same ( i think )

Oooh, I like it!! Aaarrrgghh!!! and Jim will definitely be bonding, though I don't know how much talking they'll be doing due to the language barrier. But yes, they both are/were child soldiers, so there's tons of opportunities for bonding there! I'm very excited to get to that part of the fic, haha :3

Aarrron: Not going! Death first over bath!

May I politely request a Aaarrrgghh + Blinky(together) and their s/o having a cozy little night-time picnic? nothing better than snuggles and snacks with the ones you love.

Blinky was rather excited. He'd been planning this with Aarrrgh for a few days now and they couldn't wait to surprise you. As he held the basket of goodies close he hums taking in the earthy scent of his library. Lately your scent had been mixing with his books and the cave they resided in and he rather liked it. Having a reminder of you during the day.

Aarrrgh chuffs holding the various heavy items and Blinky nods.

"Right." He hums nodding his head and getting ready to leave. He looked back one last time and shaking his head he smiled. Tonight with you was going to be magical.

Aarrrgh was carrying a barrel of human wine and a wood carton of poetry human books with highlighted poems for you. Blinky had a basket of all your favorite foods in his top set of arms along with glowing crystals and jars that clanked against each other. Blankets and pillows were folded and pressed carefully against his chest with his lower set of arms. He could already imagine your glowing face, brighter than any heart stone as you walked to where they wanted you to meet.

As they leave TrollMarket Blinkous frees an arm and cuddles close to Aarrgh enjoying the giants warmth. Aarrrgh purrs and nuzzles Blinky who purrs and nuzzles back. Soon the lovers find their planned spot and begin to lay eveything out for you. Blankets and pillows make a soft covering while chunks of glowing crystals placed around the soft things light up the night. The trees kept you safe from the wind but were open and spread out enough that you could see the sky through the branches and the city lights from the bushline.

Spreading out all the food and getting ready the trolls layed against each other waiting for you to appear.

"It perfect." Aarrrgh stated and Blinky hummed in reply laying against his mossy stone skin.

"It is." He agreed ready to have the perfect night with you.

Ok, it’s been a couple of days since I watched Rise Of the Titans, and while I still don’t fully like the ending, I think there’s more to it then we realize.

Hear me out:

What if Jim doesn’t get the Amulet of Daylight in the alternate timeline because he still has the Akiridion Amulet. The Amulet of Daylight senses that Jim doesn’t need it so it calls out to its second choice: Toby.

Jim is technically still the Trollhunter. He’s just not Merlin’s trollhunter anymore. Maybe he’s his own trollhunter now? I don’t fully know yet.

Jim didn’t change the timeline to shift all the responsibilities onto Toby! He created a timeline where they’re BOTH the Trollhunter!

And Jim most likely uses the knowledge from the first timeline to prevent certain character deaths and gain allies such as Strickler and Nomura earlier than before.

Aja and Krel coming to earth isn’t exclusively linked to the events of Trollhunters, so their stories will still unfold, including Staja’s love story.

Am I saying that I like the ending now? No. I still think it ruins some of the emotions behind certain character deaths and it did feel a little like the writers took the easy way out. And if anyone out there is creating a hashtag or petition for a rewritten ending, I’m 100% on board.

However, I think I understand the ending a little better now and if this ending remains canon no matter what we do, I’ll have an easier time moving on.

But these are just my thought. What do you guys think?

What is something’s you like about Blinky and Aaarrrgghh? Why do you like them as a ship (aside from being cute ^^)

Something I like about Blinky is how relatable he is, while he's 'super smart' he's still kind.... Dumb. Like he's smart dumb, book smart but not street smart.

Something I like about Aarrrgh is how his character is played out, he has trauma but it doesn't rule his life. Sure he has triggers but their easily avoidable and he has other that can help him through a break down.

As a ship

They work well together, Blinky helps Aarrrgh understand things he might not. Aarrrgh helps Blinky stay grounded and not go off in his rants and theories.

They're chemistry is really good too, they argue but talk it out. When their mad at each other they give each other space.

It's nice to see.

Here’s an angsty thought for y’all, what if they disbudded aka dehorned changlings as children/as punishment? I know nomura doesn’t have any visable horns and we never see Otto in troll form. What do trolls think of their horns anyway? Is it a status symbol? Or just biology like hair? Either way do not look up disbudding unless you have a strong stomach.
