Okay, was Mikey in this chapter acknowledging that he knew about Sanzu’s plan or did he put together that what just happened was because of Sanzu because the distinction is important I think

I mean, it’d make more sense to his character if he didn’t know/condone this because the whole reason he’s in KMG is to protect everyone, but he also has no good influence to steer him towards good decisions. This could either be Mikey is annoyed at Sanzu’s failure or he’s annoyed that Sanzu tried to solve this on his own. I’m not totally sure, but I’m thinking (and hoping) it’s the second.

Also, a teeny tiny part of me is kinda hopeful (?) that Kakucho is not dead yet?? I have no real basis aside from how the ‘narrator’ (i.e. voice in the side notes) has yet to actually declare that Kakucho’s died. It’s been vague in 257 and 258 (i.e. only “Kakucho is…” or “Kakucho has…”). And the supposed ‘death scene’ doesn’t feel as drawn out or ‘dramatized’ as Baji’s / Emma’s / Draken’s. And Kakucho’s CB3 profile actually kinda makes his future sound hopeful? He still has the Tenjiku dream to achieve on Izana’s behalf 🥲 Guess I’ll have to wait till the end of the battle to know the final death score. I mean either way I’ve also accepted his death BUT yknow I’m just sayin’…….
