Lol I’m sorry wait, Loki creates Yggdrasil in the s2 finale? Aka the thing I had him do in The Real Asgardians of the Galaxy, a fic I wrote 4 years ago?

i want to read your fic but you have written SO MUCH and i am SO ADHD so like, can you tell me where to start? the chronology? what links to what? please break it down for me <3 <3 <3
Of course!! I'm happy to! :D
My main series is it's not going to matter if we fall down twice. It's a How Loki Healed And Got His Groove Back, 10 fic journey, which starts at the New York Sanctum, travels all over two different galaxies, and ends...I guess I can't say. The whole thing is from Loki's POV, and there's lots of Brodinsons. Loki/Stephen Strange is endgame for the series. It's comprised of:
Sleight of Hand (12 chapters, 42.3k)
even if we come upon a language we both know (1 chapter, 9.6k)
The Real Asgardians of the Galaxy (44 chapters, 175k)
A Full and Factual Account of Asgard (54 chapters, 245.5k)
Afterimage (9 chapters, 39.5k)
Here, Here and Here (15 chapters, 14.3k currently posted)
far away from here and closer to somewhere else (1 chapter)
Life on Earth (11 chapters)
Unready (7 chapters)
The General Mess and Imprecision of Feeling (46 chapters)
Most of my non-AU fics take place in this verse. I usually note it when they don't, though it's typically pretty obvious because if I'm writing a fic that doesn't take place in this verse, it's usually a fic about Loki and Stephen getting together in a different way, haha.
Will you be my festar-man? Love and courtship in the New Asgardian court (or, How Loki Stopped Worrying and Proposed to Stephen Strange) (9 chapters, 40.6k) is a romcom about Loki courting Stephen.
Entanglement (9 chapters, 34.2k) is an accidental baby acquisition fic which takes place in the far future, featuring Loki and Stephen as older adoptive parents. May or may not have been motivated originally by spite
My mafia AU turned out to be shockingly popular? Nasty Boys Don't Mean a Thing (17 chapters, 70.2k)
There's also just like...a LOT of pwp, haha. Though a lot of it actually has a plot tbh.
Thank you so much for the interest!! :D :D

Fic question. I know ur fic has a lot of loki and strange. but was curious how thor and loki have progressed as brothers as well
The Real Asgardians of the Galaxy is about Loki and Thor working through their baggage. There's still a little of that going on in A Full and Factual Account of Asgard, but by the end of that the two of them are in a really good place. Here, Here and Here has a little friction between them stemming from the fact that Loki doesn't know what to do with himself on Earth.
There's a scene near the end of the final fic in the series where Thor holds Loki while Loki sobs, haha. So they really become steadying presences in each other's lives.

4 & 9 for the writing ask
4. Do you have any OCs? Do you have a story for them?
Tons of OCs! The kinds of fics I write often calls for original characters. I guess I could try to shoehorn canon characters into those parts, but I'd rather just create new characters.
My MCU fic has a few major OCs: Mira, Kalmsh, and Skadi. There are also OCs in more supporting roles (Loki's unit on Preccat in The Real Asgardians of the Galaxy, Gymir in A Full and Factual Account of Asgard). And lots of others with smaller parts.
I have one major OC in my WIR fic (Mal, the villain). My big DS9 fic, Anamnesis, has several major OCs (Deimos, Leto, Soltoi, Parnon).
I haven't written any separate fics for my MCU OCs, though I'd like to. I have a couple oneshots that have Deimos in them for Anamnesis.
9. Thoughts on cliffhangers.
I write them all the time, lol. Only at the end of chapters, though. I don't really like when books end on a cliffhanger.
Thank you!
Yet another writing ask

GUYS LOKI SPOKE LATIN HE SPOKE FUCKING LATIN AHHHHH AND HE DID THE CORRECT PRONUNCIATION
This is like one of my favorite random head canons (I mean obvs he can speak any language because of Allspeak but the fact that they had him actually speak Latin in the show is killllllling meeeee). Check it out:
The Real Asgardians of the Galaxy:
When Strange had gotten wind of this, he’d said, “Learning new things—definitely your MO.” When Loki had looked at him questioningly—because his Allspeak had failed him on that, Strange had said. “Modus operandi? Latin?” But Loki had shrugged. Strange had disappeared for a few minutes without a word, which was unusual for him.
When he reappeared in the study, he dropped several books on the end table next to Loki. “Latin,” he’d repeated. “I learned it for pre-med. Enjoy.”
Afterimage:
“Yeah,” Strange said. “That’s when you enjoy someone’s company. You also care about their wellbeing. Ergo—”
“Latin,” Loki murmured.
A grin flickered over Strange’s face. “Ergo, I genuinely want to help you. If you decide to come back to Earth.”
and
There was a frustrated look on Strange’s face. “You’re the one with the spaceship. I hate to tell you this, but the New York DMV doesn’t cover spaceships in driver’s ed—and anyway, my license is expired. You maybe want to explain what the big deal is? A few minutes ago you were telling me about all these great things I’ve done for you, and now you’re cursing me out in Asgardian.”
“English, Latin, Kree, and Xandarian, as well, if you must know,” Loki shot back.
Life on Earth:
With a grin, Strange said, “Just luck, Odinson.” Luck. Right. Loki rolled his eyes. “Also,” Strange added, “I hate to ruin the mystique, but we happen to have run into each other in two major cities that are also home to Sanctums.”
“Shouldn’t that be Sanc-ta?” Loki asked.
Looking like he was trying not to laugh, Strange said, “Guess you haven’t forgotten that Latin yet.”
It was impossible to keep a smile from twitching at his own mouth. Loki didn’t deny his affinity for languages.
The General Mess and Imprecision of Feeling:
“Mm,” Loki said distractedly, paging through the book, his eyes scanning the words. It was a field guide to the native flowers of Asgard. The sort of thing he never would have touched before Ragnarok, but which now seemed more precious than all the gold in all the Realms.
“That’s the best one,” Strange said. There was a note in his voice that Loki couldn’t quite read. “But there are a couple more that look like they came from Asgard—one about Alfheim, and a few from Earth that I just thought might pique your interest. Oh, and Catullus. So you can practice your Latin.”
And a mention of it in a ‘deleted scene’ from Sleight of Hand:
There’s another person in the universe who understands dying more than once and improbably surviving. He’s 6’2, from another planet, generally considered to be a Norse god, and is currently sitting in the Sanctum’s kitchen with a cup of tea and a book. It’s Wheelock’s Latin; Stephen can identify it even from a distance, and Loki Odinson, God of Mischief, is reading it, his nose wrinkled delicately, his eyes flicking back and forth, his lips occasionally parting to mouth a word or a phrase. One lock of his hair loose and falling over his face, his long fingers marking his spot on the page, his tunic loose enough that the neckline gaps in the front so that Stephen can see the graceful line of his bare shoulder and chest before it fades into the shadows under his clothing.

I'm rereading the Real Asgardians of The Galaxy and I just wanted to say I think it's fantastic. And everytime Loki's inner monologue sarcastically questions Thor's intelligence you write it in the most funny way. Like.. I lold and had to shut up before people thought I'd lost the plot.
First of all!!! You're rereading!! The Real Asgardians!!!
Tumblr media
Second of all, haha amazing, that makes me so happy. I love writing Loki being an absolute shit and insulting other people's intelligence, lol.

Title: The Real Asgardians of the Galaxy Author: @aurorawest Rating: M (language, violence, mild sexual content) Relationships: Loki & Thor Major Archive Warnings: Creator Chose Not to Use Archive Warnings Word Count (so far): 133.3k Summary: Loki and Thor are finally together again and everything's great. Everything's perfect. It's all exactly as Loki imagined. He wouldn't change a thing.
That's...a lie. Nothing is right. Loki knew things wouldn't be simple, but they're so much less simple than he expected. Thor has forgotten who he is. Loki isn't sure that he ever knew who he was to begin with. They're quite the pair. They have a spaceship and each other, but not much else—certainly nothing resembling purpose or direction.
So Loki decides to change that. What could give the Princes of Asgard purpose?
Well—what if they reopened the Bifrost?

There was a screech of metal and the ship shuddered. Up on the deck, Thor swore. The thickness in his voice made Loki think he’d been asleep. The ship shuddered again. Loki heard the inner airlock scrape open and the clomp of footsteps. Lots of footsteps. Far too many footsteps.
“Who the hel are you?” Thor growled.
There was a laugh. “Thought you’d know. You’ve been looking for us, haven’t you?”
Loki’s eyes widened. His pulse hammered painfully.
Oh, shit.

“Hello?” he said, not really expecting an answer. He could hear noises, the sounds of Asgard humming along on a normal day—the clank of an Einherjar’s armor, a gardener shouting for the right pair of shears. Further away, the faint roar of water plummeting from the edge of the world, distant and omnipresent. He realized he still wasn’t used to not hearing it, so not used to hearing it that he had to wonder if its absence had driven him a little bit insane.

The docking bay doors wouldn’t open. Thor repeatedly punched the button to open them, regardless. “It’s like they’re stuck.”
“Stop hitting it,” Loki hissed, not sure why he was keeping his voice down.
Thor slammed his fist on the button again, but the doors still wouldn’t open all the way. With a growl, he jammed his fingers between and hauled at them, his arms straining. Loki just folded his arms over his chest and rolled his eyes.
He froze as his gaze fell on what had been jamming the doors.
“Oh shit,” Thor said.
