I just ✨noped✨ out of a fanfic so fast that my phone glitched. It was not for me. There was nothing in the tags that indicated it would be a hard pass, but it wasn’t anything traumatising either. Just a personal preference.

You know what I didn’t do? Comment on said fic with why I didn’t like it! I also didn’t post a hateful review of it or DM the author on social media. It’s basic human decency, respect for others, and fandom etiquette all rolled into one non-action.

And the ✨bonus✨ was that it was so much easier than being an arsehole! Zero effort required.

I feel like a lot of people would be happier if they allowed themselves to engage in unselfconscious movement. Like, put on some music with a beat and turn the lights off and move your body in any way that feels good. How a chef makes grilled cheese sandwiches

My son is a chef. He's sick and wanted a grilled cheese sandwich. He told me how he wanted it made, and it was sooo much better than the way my Mom taught me to do it.

Butter both sides of both slices of bread.

Place both slices in a preheated pan, and 'toast' them until they are slightly brown.

Flip one slice over and place your favorite cheese slices on the already toasted side. Top that with the other slice with it's toasted side against the cheese.

Once the downside of the sandwich is toasted, flip it to get the last side of the sandwich toasted.

Voila--the cheese is melted better than usual and the crispy consistency of the sandwich is a REVELATION. (stole that from Martha Rodgers).

Try it. I'm almost mad at my son for not cluing me into this method before today. Usually when he's home for a meal, he orders Sushi which I do not eat because of allergies.

I don’t know nor care if anyone has said or made a point of this already but may I preach the value of showers in the dark?

Maybe just me, but it always feels so different from if you just close your eyes. It’s darker for starters but being in the dark?? Like—

it feels so fucking ethereal. Like, your mere fleshbag doesn’t exist. You’re all and nothing and it’s awesome! It might help with dysphoria if you’ve got that like me If you can, I you want to and if it’s safe so you, try Turing the lights off while you shower sometime. I swear it changed the fucking game for me

Once again, my buddy Dres comes in clutch!

Since I'm already a fair way through Prism(I'm at the area where you play that board game with the wild Pokemon), I decided to play through a game he suggested:

Pokemon Black & White 3: Genesis!

It sorta just made sense. Jason's adventure takes place in Unova(If you can't tell, I'm really struggling to write his story), and it's also my favorite region(Being a Samurott has nothing to do with this, I have my fair share of beef with this place). That, and I've never really gotten the chance to beat the original B & W or their sequels. The furthest I've gotten was that one farm area in Blaze Black(I was there for hours, trying to evolve my Riolu into a Lucario).

I heard that it's literally just Gen 2 Unova, so I'm excited to see what they do with that. GSC has some of my favorite spritework, since a lot of them have very dramatic and dynamic poses, and some even show a side of a Pokemon you'd never see before.

With that being said, let's do this!
