Raven had been drifting around for who knows how long now. She figured it was time for a change. So she applied for a job to earn some money for once so she won't have to do other odd jobs or favors for basic needs. She decided that a simple position as an assistant would be at least somewhat interesting. Luckily she was called in for an interview and she managed to get a good set of professional clothes to wear for the occasion. She made her way over and talked with the greeter. "Hello. I'm here for an interview. I'm Ms. Tsukikage." She states as she was curious to who her potential new boss would be like.

Someone pointed out that I didn’t yet have an RP rules page, so here it is: (Message me if you’re interested in rp-ing!)  - 3rd person, literate  - I don’t typically rp with OCs (though some exceptions can be made if the OC is well fleshed-out and isn’t a self-insert)  - No pedophilia or incest - This isn’t really a rule, but I prefer to rp with writers that include their characters’ inner thoughts in their works (believe it or not,  a lot of people still only write actions/dialogue, so..) - Again, not a rule, but I’m an angst fan! < 3  - I’m not really a super strict/picky person when it comes to rps, so don’t worry too much! ^ ^  *Main Characters I RP:* (Note: I rp more than this, but these are just the main ones. Ash raised a hand to her mask in thought.  She looked at the trees for a long time.  They were so tall and so green… so pretty… so… pretty.  “There are two ways to beat a trickster.  You can pull an even better trick on them, or you can show them that you do not intend to play their game.  We could burn down a portion of their woods and show them that we are not interested in their nonsense.”  After all, this place was the Old Light Kingdom and there was no greater symbol of light than fire.

———  THREE  FACTS! ♡

1! ♡  I tend to be a little bit clumsy. Like...just the other day I was running an errand and I was about to cross the street but as there had been construction going on sometime earlier this year, the curb still had residual gravel so I slipped and face-planted hard on the ground. I ended up visiting the vet that was conveniently right there to get a few bandages and the anti...whatever stuff so i wouldn’t risk infection. Gravel is slippery!!

2! ♡ I am not very fond of loud noises. I don’t think anyone is but like...the sound of doors slamming are enough to make me cry. Bad memories. 

3! ♡ When I was seven, I had my appendix removed! See, what happened was that I was playing with a turtle...and then I forgot to wash my hands. I ended up in the hospital and the nurses were like, telling my mother how lucky i was that she had brought me in, otherwise there wouldn’t be a Lis. here now!

PLATFORMS USED! ♡ I started RPing in MyCandyLove of all places...I had an OC named Sidel that was pretty much all doom and gloom because I made him part of an RP plotline that involved colors so like...he was technically a bad guy?  Other than that, I of course use Tumblr and surprise surprise Discord!!

GENDER! ♡ I tend to pick female muses…I do have Lafayette as a male muse...and Tsukikage but I haven’t been active at all on them. Sorry boys, Luvia is top muse.

Second Blog Anniversary

[Soooooooooo~ I never thought I'd reach this point, but today, I am happy to celebrate my second anniversary as an Arc-V roleplayer on tumblr, with of course everything starting from this blog \(^o^)/

There's been many ups and downs, many involuntary hiatus, but in the end, I just love RPing as Shun and as Ruri (and even as Serena, whenever she decides to actually cooperate with me), so it is only appropriate for me to thank those who have made this experience a special one in particular:

@hxneyed-eyes:  On your old blog, you were the very first person to follow me, as well as the second to put up with my clumsy first attempts at RPing in English- which were honestly horrendous- with so much patience and to still give me a chance in spite of my severe lack of experience. It is genuinely nice to see you back in the Arc-V RPing community, and I'm already looking forward to future interactions!

@kitameguire: The second person to follow me and the first to ever send this blog a meme, which then turned into the very first thread I ever had. Had it not been for your patience and your willingness to give me a chance as an RPer and to send me memes, I would've never been able to establish myself as a Shun RPer, and for that, you have my eternal gratitude. Your Yuzu muse is precious beyond words, and you, the mun, are the kindest person in this fandom without allowing for your kindness to be tainted by hypocrisy in a single instance. (And lemme just say that your taste in Arc-V ships is A++)

@sakakiyushou: It has been a while since I've last seen you around on tumblr, but your commentaries on my Hostage and Amethyst threads and your reactions were always such a pleasure to read as you were just so open and honest about your thoughts and feelings, making it all the more enjoyable to have you suffer and rejoice alongside us. I don't know whether you are still a member of the fandom and whether your hiatus is temporary or permanent, but I'd like to thank you for the smiles you put on my face, and I do wish you the best in all your endeavors in RL and online <3

@tsukikagc : Your take on Tsukikage is wonderful beyond words, elevating him from a plot device used to a multifaceted character of a beautifully gray morality and with a backstory in complete accordance with the earlier tone of Arc-V. I am deeply grateful to you for being one of the very few to give my alternate take on Ruri a chance and for being the first to actively take our threads between Tsuki and Ruri in a shippy direction- further proving that you do not treat her as inferior, and I greatly appreciate you being so accommodating in regard to my requested worldbuilding and timeline changes in our threads, allowing me to enjoy them without any kinds of restrictions. RPing with you is super fun, and of course, you are super nice OOC as well, so a definite 10/10 from me!

@sharmat-dreams: You're not even in the same fandom and yet, you encouraged me to do my best with what limited resources I had in my beginning stages as a tumblr RPer, giving me advice when I really wanted to stop for feeling inadequate, and really, in the circumstances of you having no kind of emotional connection to Shun and the world he resides in, what you did for me back then means all the more to me. You're an amazing person and an amazing friend – the only one I'd think of as a Senpai completely unironically – and I'm kinda semi-secretly hoping for the day of the two of us having more fandoms in common again.

@presidentakaba: What would I do without you?! You were the very first person to indulge me with this very specific wish list thread that I still love to BITS even today. It is always such a pleasure to RP and ship with you, and it was you who made me realize how much fun it is for a thread to not always be deadly serious, as in the communities I was accustomed to in my country, humorous RPs could basically be equalled 'gross OOC bastardizations of all characters involved'. Your Reiji is such a delight to interact with, as you so very skillfully explore what he could have remained, had he not been stripped of his intellect, his values, and agenda – at this point, you really are the only one to depict him in this light, and I always gush at how beautifully morally gray he is without being portrayed as misled. Thanks for playing along with my self-indulgent thread ideas, for allowing me to explore my canon divergent muses' potential without any kind of restrictions, for creating happy roleplaying memories of conditional fluff and soul-crushing angst alike, both together shaping meaningful bonds between our characters that are far beyond being two-dimensional – and last but not least, thank you for being a treasured friend I can always count on.

@kansuigyo: Oh goooooosh, roleplaying with you is just a complete and utter delight! I just love your work at developing and fixing butchered and/or underdeveloped characters whose radiance outshines their canon counterparts in both, canon divergent scenarios and AUs alike. And with the high extent of your thoughtfulness and the creative ideas you have, even the most meticulous of plotting and worldbuilding never feels like a chore but is always something I enjoy and actively look forward to. I deeply apologize for always taking so long to reply to you in particular, but please allow me to tell you this: Each and every thread we have demands for me to employ everything I have as an RPer, as the standards you set are incredibly high, compelling me to give you nothing but my absolute best, as even in a decent condition, I am still struggling to come even close to them. Talking to you about Arc-V's wasted potential and ways of fixing what went wrong by exploring what the more complex characters could have been has been one of the most soothing things for my declining sanity in response to the entire Konami and fandom nonsense – all thanks to your deeply-founded understanding and critical thought, making the act of conversing with you alone a treat every single time. Thanks for being such a wonderful friend, and for sharing your thoughts with me in such a delightful way!

..Of course, I’d also like to thank each of my followers in general- those who’ve been there from day one and those who stumbled across this blog just recently alike- for giving this blog a chance and keeping me company, but specifically those who have sent me questions, memes or commentary. Ash raised a hand to her mask in thought.  “I am not overly fond of the idea of charity for strangers… despite this presenting itself as a fine opportunity for you to test out your weapon.”  Ash looked up towards the tallest hut in the village and to the forest beyond..  “There is no telling what consequences we may face with the other villagers if we help this Nobody.  We could go directly to the temple and avoid this conflict entirely.  It is not our fight.”  Her voice, low and deep enough that your feet just barely couldn’t reach the bottom, softened.  “I will admit.  It would be unfortunate to simply abandon this Nobody to their fate, even if it was to our benefit.”

~Transpiritation - Doing the Homework~

Socks put the stick down, parallel to the edge of the book’s pages.  

Socks paced back and forth, the book between her and Phenalyn.  

Ah, that blade. It seemed almost fitting. More so connected. What else would the swordsman have on him that would manage such a thing? "The storm is simply aether, perhaps blended with the wills of the elementals. That should not be as difficult as containing their strength. What I am more worried about is making the connection. If Hap is not robust enough for the exchange, or Eoiel's sword is incapable of housing that much power, then leaving Hap's spirit open like that could cause her more harm than help."

 Phen opened her mouth to protest about the blade, but closed it shortly afterwards. She was no blacksmith, let alone a master of enchanted weapons. If the creatures from the drawing were the Void, and it could very possibly be them considering the weakened spirit, they could not risk their hunger seeping into the exchange of power.  "Defending Hap against the Void should not be too much of a concern. If there is anything I can claim to have intimate experience handling, it is the creatures from beyond the natural veil. There are precautions that can be taken to hide her from the desperate senses of the Void." Even considering that path made her tired. She had just spent moons defending half the Shroud with such methods. A shame they might be needed sooner rather than later. "I am more concerned with ensuring Hap will survive the affair. And that she can open her soul to accept the strength offered. If she has not done this before and cannot manage, then our efforts will be for naught."

Phen wasn't used to creatures wanting to be alone. The Shroud always seemed so desperate to be in the company of someone who understood. But this was not the Shroud.

~The Nobodies’ Princess - Ash Joins the Party~

The Lady in White tilted her head.  “Oh, so you are not like them, the Nobodies that wander this place.” She also studied him while she talked. He was big and tall and, twelve (and however many others) above, she could smell him.  Blegh!  “I have no name.”  She said. “At least, not one that I know.” If this big wall of muscle and beard knew his name, then he probably had a fighting chance to survive out here once he got his wits about him.  “Sydrian… that is an odd name.  Where are you from?”

 His head still tilted as he eyed the woman. No name?  Brow arched. "You have no name? Surely you must. But suit yourself." He said, motioning to her. If she wanted to remain unknown, that was her perogative, but that did nothing to stay his suspicion of her. Reaching his hand down to rest at the pommel of his sword he was surprised when it missed completely, only to pat at his hips for the sword belt. Gone. Oh good. Sighing he looked once more around them, sure to keep the woman in his peripherals at all time. "Originally? Ishgard. But I currently reside in the Azim Steppe. And you....? No one?"

 The Lady in White tilted her head to the other side.  This big guy was strange.  “I have not heard of those places.  You must not be from around here, but at least you know.  I do not know where I come from.  I am here, however, and so are you.  That seems to be all that matters to most.”

The Lady in White raised a hand to her mask in thought.  “I have not considered a name for myself, nor do I have a title...”  She said.  “Perhaps ‘Ash’ would suffice, for the cold remains of a thing burned away.”  She thought some more and looked around as the bright moon of the night reached through the canopy above them.  “I suppose ‘Tree’ might also be fitting for me. I imagine I would have been very good at climbing them.”  From the consistently even tone of her voice, it did not seem that she had a preference between those options, or any other names he might choose.

“My daughter… she was very serious about everything.  Too serious for a child, I suppose.”  He looked back up at his friend, face awash with memories of an old life.  “I never got to go shopping for toys for her.”

 Ah. It made sense now, in a way. Phen was almost prepared to continue, to move to that stand down the ways that sold dolls. To let him pick a few out. But then again, perhaps such things should be taken in smaller steps. She moved to the side not occupied by the hefty sack of toys, looping her arm around the remaining free arm the swordsman had.  "Was she serious by nature? Or serious by nurture?"

  “I think, having had the time to meditate on it, it was both.”

~Transpiritation - Storm of Blood~

Socks was not her daughter. She had no authority over the small creature. But sometimes, she wondered if it wasn't some burly Roegadyn trapped in that small furry body. In time, Phen nodded. "If needed, Socks may come to your aid, to help defend against whatever may come because of this whole ordeal." For a time, the elezen wondered if she should have requested another person come with her. Lanceloux would have been useful, though perhaps unwelcome. Mattisaux as well.  As she considered the could-have-beens, realization struck and confirmed her initial hopelessness. It really was just the three of them who were able to do this. "We have no other choice," the healer admitted. "It is better we move now, lest we have to wait for another storm."

 The storm had gathered above them.  “Time to get to work then.”  He said, his voice all steely and hard.  “You two go to Hap.  I will be with you shortly once I have taken what I can from the storm.”  Socks was already darting around, ready to sprint into the cave and save Hap!  As Socks bolted into the cave, through the rain Eoiel gave Phen one final nod and held his hand over his right eye.  “Do your best.”  He said, and not a word more.  As he walked away to go to the roof of the tower he raised a fist of quiet resolve.  He had complete faith in Phen…

Why?  You ask…
