It's, definitely gotten more positive in the last few years. Positive on my end obviously, he's always thought we had a good relationship.

We are, friends. Not best friends- the title is already taken- and definitely not *great* friends- title also, already taken- but we're friends. I'm really not sure what kind of friends though, we both have a habit of talking about nothing for long periods of time. (And that's only if we happen to be in the same vicinity)

What was your first impression?

Oh not good, not a positive one at all. I didn't like him when we first met. He was. A lot. Super extroverted. I mean he still is but at the time it was. So much worse- at least I thought it was.

He doesn't have the same opinion though. He thought I was a wonderful conversationalist and already considered us good friends.

Tiny question! When Clicks said “I don't understand…! It didn't have that reaction with the rest of us.” When referring to the side effects Spamton got when drinking his own tea, then does this mean that the other addisons tried Spamton tea to get an opinion? If yes, what where the HP benefits and descriptions each Addison would have when drinking Spamton Tea? I’m curious!

ofcourse! So it had happened off screen, and a scene i won't be writing (but definitely pictured thus it being referenced with a one-off comment), but while spamton was still in snoozetown post-neo attack, clicks made it to try and gauge if they were rlly cut out for this whole helping-spamton-out shtick, but for their own sakes. so i'm glad you're curious about it so i get to elaborate! :D

spamton's tea doesn't heal any one of them all that much, due to the complicated relationship, being that Clicks' conditional healing teas aren't pure healing magic like Spamton's F1 spell, but in order, it would be Sponsor the most, Banner and Clicks about the same, and then Survey in last.

Sponsor definitely will be elaborated on later, as they've still been rather silent about their perspective on spamton, despite being the one that's more accepting of Neo. It's not a lot of healing by any chance, but it's healing nonetheless. A familiar taste that they tried a long time ago but they'd like to have again, properly this time. Maybe with a 40 Hp boost

Banner and Clicks are healed about the same, and while clicks finds the tea bitter with a bad processed flavor, both are healed the same cuz they're at that same stage of still being wary around spamton, with clicks less so after Ch15. Banner finds the flavor unfamiliar, but not all bad, still not one he'd go to for a first pick. 30 Hp boost

Survey is barely healed, and doesn't like the flavor, but wants to, like it's a flavor of something they used to like a lot but has fallen off in recent years. It gives off the same vibe of a recipe that they've known very well that's changed, and it's distinctly wrong now. Maybe changing the recipe manually would fix it? Or would it ruin the entire thing? Who knows. 5-10 Hp

None of the addisons really hate spamton, so the hp-draining effects of Spamton tea is unique to himself, but the Hp can fluctuate with strengthening friendships :)! like post Ch15, the tea would taste better to Clicks, not significantly, but enough to make a difference from first impressions.

I LOVE YOUR VERSION he looks like he is ready to commit crimes against nature. And to answer your question- oh my god yes absolutely. Frankenstein is one of my favorite novels(though, Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer stands at my #1 spot) and I can definitely see the similarities!

I think they’d get along swimmingly, though if I’m being honest, I think Micolash outclasses Victor on sheer accomplishments alone. If we accept the hc/theory that Micolash created the Carrion Crows alongside the Brain of Mensis AND The One Reborn, that’s 3 animated corpses(and that’s being generous to Victor- I’m not counting every corpse in the corpse pile of The One Reborn as an individual) to Victor’s 1. I also think Micolash would not have abandoned his creation the way Victor did, he’s a little too unhinged for that(assuming this is nightmare Mico we’re talking about, post-ritual).

TLDR; yes they’re both nerds and they’re both pathetic and they’ve both done horrible crimes against nature. I think they’d hit it off. Maybe swap recipes. Victor can teach Mico how to make less ugly puppets and Mico can teach Victor to grow a spine.

I think if Sun was treated better? Lord Eclipse would not be thrilled about that. He'd get jealous and view it as heresy, going out of hiding way to plant ideas in his followers mind's that Sun isn't as sweet and perfect as he seems. Sun is not the lord of this realm, he does not need to be the favored of the two.

If Sun was treated worse? I think he'd find it funny until it started to affect Sun's ability to serve. Like, small jabs and taunts or even like people tripping or bumping into him? I think Lord Eclipse would be like teehee. thats what u get. idiot. and then once Sun's bad mental health starts to distract him from tasks or someone actually injures him, I think he'd take matters into his own hands.

Oh don’t apologize for the questions im very normal about this podcast and am excited to yell about it. I’m up to season 3 ep 34 rn!

I absolutely wasn’t expecting to be as into it as i ended up being! But it’s just super charming and really well written. All the first season was pretty enjoyable, but i think the Empty Man ep is what sold me on the whole series. I love feeling genuinely uneased by media! I love when they can set their tone in a way that feels believable and immersive! It’s really good! It’s humor is really fun and although sometimes the characters sarcasm at each other is a little much, its always balanced out by the rest of the vibe. Im a fan.

Hilbert’s definitely my favorite, though Eiffel and Hera would also be contenders. I’m just fascinated by his story and how he’s managed to also be a significant part of so many other characters’ narratives as well (im. Unwell abt everything hes got going on with Lovelace. Yk.) Also I’ve been relistening to eps with my friend who introduced me to it and hearing his post-betrayal-reveal voice back to back with his goofy ass s1 voice is really funny. Why’d he do that.

Leo didn't know why he thought Donnie would even be glad or remember their birthday.

Maybe it was some dull hope that Donnie would remember his family indefinitely, after all nothing meant more than family in the Hamato Clan.

Maybe Donnie didn't believe that it was their birthday because of some long held details of them being twins that transferred over or that they technically weren't born on the same day (or that the lake had some time dilation thingie).

Maybe this was the end of their twin hood.

It was strange seeing Donnie all dressed up as some Swan Lake ballerina wannabe. The more and more Leo saw Donnie, or Swan-Don, the more he forgot what Donnie looked like before the curse.

Pictures helped him remember the before time, before the curse, before his brother attacked him, be he was a stranger in a mirror, before there was no longer a mirror to look at.

The things Leo once knew about Donnie, were now mere footnotes of a life they once had. Ballerina and honong his fighting and lake duties was all Donnie seemed to like doing. If he remember Donnie tried to figure out the lake curse. At least Mikey could relate with the ballerina stuff and Raph with fighting but there was less room for Leo.

Maybe Donnie was no longer his brother.

On rare occasions, Leo was able to ninja his way to the lake unnoticed, he saw how at piece Donnie was. Not worried about remembering, protecting a stupid lake, or being the best technician in the world, just a wierd Swan turtle enjoying Swan turtle things.

Would Donnie even like pizza or skateboarding with his brothers anymore?

Maybe they weren't even family anymore.

Leo was tired of them being the only ones to put in the effort to help Donnie escape. Well Donnie was putting in effort but everytime he chased them off, everytime he fought against them, everytime he hurt the rest of his family, Leo wondered who Donnie was more loyal to.

The more Donnie told Leo to get out, the Leo was inclined to return. The more Donnie forgot Leo, the less Leo thought there was success in removing the curse. The more Donnie fought Leo, the less Leo saw the person who was his family.

Did Donnie even love Leo? Who knows. Donnie would certainly forget.

At this point it was the lake who had Donnie's love but Leo liked to think differently. It was all in vain.

Maybe the lake was Donnie's family now and Leo would just have to accept that.

Hope was a ninjas greatest weapon, but what was it too seeing a person you once loved dearly dissappear right in front of you?

Maybe Donnie wasn't even Donnie anymore, just a pawn of the lake to forever protect the queen.

current working theory for the Statues of the Seven is that since the Hydro Statue definitely does not depict Egeria (almost definitely depicting Foaclors instead), the statues are probably under 500 years old

since the Traveler, who may have had elemental power in the past before it being stolen (circa 500 yrs ago) can draw power from the statues, it's possible the statues were made using their power in the first place

Anyway, ooo, cool theory. We know the gnoses are made from a descender's remains and the traveller also directly resonated with either Venti or his gnosis in the cutscene before his first Statue of the Seven encounter, so the Statues also having a descender link could be plausible.

According to the wiki you're totally right that it depicts Focalors. Though wrt age, imo it might be likelier they're older than that and get updated if the archon changes? I can't find any concrete information on this, just that multiple regions' Statue descriptions imply they've been around for a very long time, and it would make sense to me for them to be established after the end of the archon war to assert each archon's dominance over their territories. The wiki mentions Sangonomiya getting a Statue after Orobashi's death but the cited NPC dialogue doesn't say when this happened at all, just that it's there now, which doesn't help.

But either way, a descender other than the traveller could be involved- maybe the one the gnoses are made from. So you might be cooking and I'll scrutinise anything about the Statues extra hard from now on. The only oddity would be them being linked to Irminsul (I assume this based off the 'world forget me' whispering) but whatever's going on with the abyss twin 'originating from Teyvat' means that doesn't debunk anything.

Edit: would also say something about the twins' powers not being recognisable elements, but the element system's been compared to a light spectrum and the twins to stars iirc... and we have no idea what previous descenders were like. If this link is right a possibility is it's more about the ability to resonate/amplify elements, with the local elemental authorities provide the things being amplified, but this is wild speculation.
