au where capsaicin is a dragon that was captured, subdued and imprisoned by scovillia and they keep him chained up a handful of the time, but they also let him mingle around the other scovillian students so as to not raise suspicion. they flaunt him as their "undefeated champion" and he's pretty much forced to play the part, he's also Very Tall as shown in the polychamps silhouettes

they manage to hide his tail and wings, maybe using parfaedian magic to make them temporarily vanish idk i'm figuring it out but right now that seems like the most plausible option lmao, they don't bother hiding his horns since in the canon verse he's not the only non-dragon cookie to have visible horns (i.e millennial tree, devil, etc)

nobody knows that capsaicin's a dragon except for the scovillian headmaster, and probably ofc whoever helped capture and control him, but aside from that nobody else is aware, not the scovillian students nor anyone from parfaedia or the crème knights

as you can guess he is Traumatized™️, exhausted and has v low hopes of ever escaping,,,,, at least until he meets and bonds with prune juice and kouign-amann during the triple cone cup

the whole thing would be a LOT to write but tl;dr polychampions happens, they find out the Truth™️ and shit hits the fan

While I was reading your genshin yandere otome game, my brain started churning, and I thought to myself, 'If there's a yandere school au, why can't there be a yandere fantasy au as well' I'm so glad you love my work, I was afraid that it wasn't good enough...ToT Anyways, I'm trying to brainstorm some backgrounds for other characters, so far I'm working on Kazuha, Wanderer, Ei, Dainself, Diluc, Kaeya, and Zongli, but feel free to ask/request for any particular character!!

I just came back from a jog so my mind is racing with ideas to share and add onto to the fantasy au from my pov! Firstly I’ll just list off the few possible candidates I can see vying for the readers hand in holy or unholy matrimony depending on what ending you get!

Itto the Terrible (He’s a dragon Oni )/Childe the Abyssal knight. but I’ll probably introduce them sometime later so for now I’ll officially announce…

Tyrant Prince! Scaramouche

He’s shunned by the royals and commoners alike. The royals find him to be unfit for succession of the queens throne simply because he was adopted by the shogun and to add insult to injury he had commoners blood running through his veins or so they thought.

As for the reason why the commoners held Tyrant prince! Scaramouche in such low regards was because of his crass and cold behavior towards them. Just imagine the look of fear, embarrassment, and shock the commoners had when he looked at them like they were mere ants, an insignificant existence that wasn’t befitting of his presence nor his attention. And treated them as such.

Although To be fair, Tyrant prince!Scaramouche wasn’t always that way. In his younger days of youth he used to be sociable and warm towards his subjects. But an incident which brought his downfall into the dark abyss of turmoil. That was done by the hands of one who he thought of as a true friend. Caused his heart to grow cruel and cold towards commoners and nobles as a whole.

To make matters worse his relationship with his mother was already strained to the point where only bitterness remained lingering on his tongue whenever he spoke of her.

Not only that he wasn’t the only one the shogun adopted being the meticulous woman she is she rounded up potential orphans that would carry on her legacy. The succession battle was nothing less then pretty since everyone who was an orphan knew the terrible conditions of those who lacked power. And so every son and daughter had the intention to kill anyone getting in there way.

With those factors Tyrant prince! Scaramouche made a promise to himself to never let anyone in as he was all he had left to salvage what remains of himself. Until he met you someone who reminded him so much of himself and yet the only difference was you were strong enough to try and free yourself from what chained you down. Instead of wallowing in self pity, hatred, and helplessness.

However, with your help he knows that the both of you could take over his kingdom via rebellion and claim revenge on the ones who wronged you both. While You deal with your shameless parents who’ve tried to sell you off into marriage with a fat old rich king from afar. Just for a quick buck to prevent the decline in their poor province.

He will execute any and all loose ends so he can truly be set free as his own person. With Tyrant prince! Scaramouche by your side it’s a guarantee that the two of you will govern his country with nobody to stand in the way of y’all’s powerful reign. All you have to do is accept that your his precious tyrant queen if not well he has his ways of convincing you otherwise. As he’s not the type to keep his hands clean…

Presidential/White House AU Headcanons compilation

Hello KND fandom! With friends from the discord server, we expanded the fake future from Operation: W.H.I.T.E.H.O.U.S.E. and made it an actual alternate universe/future.

I also decided to write a fanfic about it based on the headcanons we came up with 👀: Wrath of The White House, title suggested by @scarlett-v-the-fox. She also came up with a lot of headcanons about Lizzie's alien specie.

Many things come from the fact that President Uno gives major "I cheat on my wife with my secretary" vibes and we all just rolled with the idea. So yes, in this AU and fic, Adults!Nigel/Kuki is a thing and things get cra-zy between them, so I'm warning you, there will be a lot of adult stuff under the cut, such as freaky physical intimacy. If you don't like it for any reason, don't go further.

There's also a few things I left out from the list, because it would be kind of spoilery for the fic, but with this list you already know where you're getting yourself into, so no big surprises.

I will probably reblog this post when we explore the other characters not so mentioned here, but this is a good base to start.

President Nigel Uno/Wrath -Won the elections through shady means: bribes, blackmail and other illegal stuff. -He made it possible for him to be President for life -He's in charge of the English mob, who he sent people to do the dirty work -He also has his personal army of demons as henchmen who helped him with the shady means to become president -He has powers, but he hides them very well in the face of the public. -The whole demon lineage is a family secret that he didn't even tell Lizzie. -He is known in the undergrounds as Wrath and you really don't want to piss him off. -His silhouette form is the classic pitch black suit, he has claws and a dragon tail, as well as straight horns on his forehead. His hair is messy in this form as well. -He's an asshole. He cares more about his hair than his heir (plz laugh at this) -He had many love affairs but only a few were consistant (a lot of one night stand). He only had one kid out of it with Rachel. -He uses a lot of hair gel. When he doesn't, his hair are messy just like his son's (they basically have the same haircut if not combed)

Nigel and Kuki (that's where the freaky bed stuff is, guys) -They fuck in secret but some people know what's going on. -They get crazy in the sack, with a shit tons of kinks. -Seriously, they try stuff in the bedroom, they're really creative. Tickling that Nigel actually enjoyed, Kuki liking having her hair pulled a little bit. They both bite and love it. -Their kinks involve leather, chains and extreme role plays (she has a collar with his name on it) -Technically they're switches, they take turns on who's the dominant one, but Nigel secretely likes being the sub in their relationship bc he gets a break from being in charge, and he gets praised. He can't hear "good boy" without blushing. -They can't go to specialized clubs because they can be regognized so they do it in private places -They have a code in little gestures to warn the other when they want each other. When she fixes his ties for exemple. -Their relationship is purely physical intimacy, there is no romantic emotion between them. -Outside of the bedroom, and off duty, they're just friends. -After the act, Nigel and Kuki share some fluff moment, where they simply like the presence of each other and like to snuggle. -She is serious, strict and stern as the secretary but in private with Nigel she loosens up and is a real tigress in bed. -"I will work late tonight honey" => is actually with Kuki -In the morning, Kuki likes to exchange her glasses with his just for fun, but one time they actually had to rush to get out and still had the wrong glasses on their faces. For those who didn't already know about them, that's how they learned what's going on -Kuki always travels with him on his trips

Nigel and Rachel (plus her family) -He had an affair with her during the early years of his marriage with Lizzie. -They're still in love even to this day -They had a daughter together named Lucy, 14 years old -Nigel loves his daughter very much, she's his little princess -He clearly has a favorite, and it's his daughter -They've been keeping their love affair a secret from everyone, mostly -Rachel is also hiding her daughter from most people's knolwedge -Rachel ended her relationship with Nigel and put an end to his secret visits to his daughter because things got sus and Nigel was also starting to change as he became greedier and lusted for more powers. He wasn't the man she fell in love with anymore. -Nigel sends her money to support their daughter but Rachel never accepted the money as it comes from corrupted/dirty money. -Rachel is the head of national security -She knows all the hacking tricks in the book. She can bypass a n y t h i n g -Harvey knows about the secret child and absolutely despises Nigel (and so does he)

Nigel and Lizzie -Lizzie is the same overbearing and annoying person as ever -Lizzie suspects that Nigel has an affair with Kuki Sanban. -She has no clue about Rachel and the illegitimate daughter. But when she learns that fact, all hell will break loose -She will especially be super mad that Nigel got a daughter with another woman and she didn't. -When she does get a confirmation about Kuki, she has to keep it down because the scandal would be too much to handle. Also, Nigel would be worse to her if she throws fits. -She doesn't know the extent of what Nigel is doing with Kuki, just that he's cheating on her with the secretary -When they do get intimate, it's the most boring stuff ever. -Nigel absolutely doesn't know she's an alien. When he finds out, he sends her to Area 51 -He will torture her to know why she was sent to earth

Nigel and his parents/relatives -Actually the only people he's not a complete douchbag to. -He really loves his parents and they love him too. He just never has the time to visit them as much as he would want to. -But they still never approved of Lizzie. They hate her. -Mrs Uno occasionally mentions divorce to her son so that Nigel would someday click and dump Lizzie -Nigel is also close to his uncle Benedict. He taught his nephew how to use his powers when he got them in his 20s.

Nigel and Shirley -They have a very cold relationship -Nigel doesn't care much for his son's existence except when it comes to his own image -Nigel is more neglectful towards his son than he is verbally or physically abusive towards him -Nigel insists on his son being proper all the time. -He combs his son's hair whenever he thinks it's not perfect -When Shirley gets his alien genes activated and apparent, Nigel absolutely hates it and cuts them off violently. -He always scolds Shirley for being ‘too noisy/agitated’ when they visit his parents because they’re old people so therefore they mustn’t be rushed. But Monty and Margaret really don’t mind their grandson for doing what a kid is supposed to do. -Shirley doesn't know his dad has affairs and just thinks he's always busy on business trip and extended meetings. -Viggo finding dogs’ collars in his dad’s stuff: "wait, he secretly has a dog? And he always refused that I get one myself !!!" Poor boy doesn't know what this really means

Shirley/Viggo -He's part human/demon and uvinea (alien part) -He doesn't know his true lineage on either side (yet) -At some point, he will start having flowers growing on his head -His vines can be torn apart and it hurts, but they will grow back -He doesn't know anything about his father's infidelity drama, including his older half sister -He really despises his dad in general -He admires Numbuh 1, whom he doesn't actually know that's his dad -I let you imagine the shock when he'll find out the truth xD -Leopold Lincoln/Numbuh 5'000 is his best friend -Shirley spends some times at the Lincolns', because Leo's dad is so much nicer than his own and wishes to have a dad like Leo's -Despite how dysfunctional his family is, Shirley still hopes that one day they could be a "normal family". -He loves his grandparents a lot (who doesn't tbh) -Nigel and Lizzie fight a lot for small things as well as the bigger ones (Nigel’s cheating for exemple) and it’s too much for Shirley so he goes to his grandparents’ place to have some calm and wholesomeness or sometimes to the Lincolns' -He hates the cold

Fanny & Patton plus friends -They're married and have a daughter -Her name is Sheila and her codename is Numbuh 860, soopreme leader -Patton is in the army but doesn't have a high position -He has to put up with Wally's bs all the time -He's away from home a lot -Fanny, as head of Nigel's security guards, records the shenanigans between the President and his Secretary and keeps the tapes as off-brand for herself. -She's actually supposed to delete anything scandalous about the President but eh, she sometimes blackmails Nigel with it. -She sometimes watches it with her colleague Chad and her husband when he gets back home -They all treat it like it's a fictional tv drama show -Therefore, they know all the dirty little secrets the President Uno has in the sack -She gossips about everything going on in the White House with her colleagues but makes sure nothing get out really (her boss is Nigel, remember) -Fanny actually does know about the Nigel/Rachel affair, because she is friend with Rachel -Fanny talks Rachel into watching the tapes. Rachel reluctantly agrees, and she's speechless until she mutters over halfway in, "Why couldn't we do any of that stuff? Damn."

Abigail Lincoln -Married to Maurice, he took her last name. -She was arrested under false accusations/She tried to organize a coup against his administration and failed -Nigel tortures her to get info from her (mostly about the knd) -She lost her right eye during one torture session -She was never decomissioned as she was tasked as a teenager and later as an adult to look after Nigel. Obviously she failed. -She is constantly tormenting herself about the fact she wasn't able to save Nigel -She was also part of Nigel's administration and she refused to help him in his corruption

Leopold/Numbuh 5'000 -His dad is Maurice -He's Shirley's best friend and always calls him by his nickname Viggo -He doesn't freak out nor is scared of his friend when he gets his powers -He kinda fanboys about it, actually, which makes Viggo cringe a few times -He writes and collect letters from the family for his mom. -He sneaks into the prison to bring her the letters and pastries his dad baked for his wife -He has to make his visits more sparce to avoid getting caught -“Dad misses you” “Dad brought you this” “Dad is working on your case” -He failed to protect his mom from being jailed and feels really guilty about it -He's a brave kid, but he still cries late at night for his mother. -His aunt Cree also helped raising him while Abby is imprisoned

Well I have lots of plans and headcannons, but I can share a few I got so far: Note that I will probs be focusing mostly on Champ/Wild in this post since at the moment, they are the focus of the series.

-I am currently trying to work on a spotify playlist for all the chain members! Once I am finished, I'll post them! -Wild's theme song at the current moment is "No Complains" but Noah Kahan -The Yiga in this au of mine are to be treated a LOT more seriously. They still have their goofey aspects, but above all they are serious threats. There is a reason why Champ does not like them. -Honestly, over all this Fic/series is probably to be taken seriously. There will be a lot of darker aspects that show up in my stories and I will be diving hard into the psychology of the chain :)

-Champ and Wild are almost entirely different people. They share some traits of personality that is the same, but otherwise the only commonality between the two of them is that they share the same body.

-Twilight has already met Wild, long before he has met Champ in "When The Curtain Closes"

-Champ is one, if not THE best swordsman in his Hyrule right now. He's basically been training with the sword from the moment he could hold one.

-Currently, in Champ's Hyrule, Dragons are a myth. They haven't been seen in centuries. Wild's Hyrule HAS seen the dragons (obviously) but no one is entirely sure how or why they returned. -Though the dragons may be physically gone. In the most recent chapter, when Champ was praying at the Spring of Courage. It was actually Farosh that answered his prayers. He's the comforting presence around Champ.

-Zelda and Champ do not like each other, they do eventually get on better terms but there is a lot of bad blood between them. However, Wild and Zelda DO get along, but more so like siblings. They trauma bonded hard and never acknowledge the issues that they still have.

-Wild is in a v happy relationship with Sidon and Yona, that started when it was the two of them he ran to when he discovered the truth about Zelda.

-I won't get into specifics, but The Demon King's fight with Wild lasted a long time. It was a grueling as hell fight. It doesn't end the same as it does in TOTK however.

-U will be getting some Eldritch vibes from Wild, because I love the concept.

-Everyone has something a bit more unique to them in this AU of mine. However, just recently, I thought of a very very interesting plan for our boi Sky. It may take a while for the reveal...but I sure do like it hehehe

Undel Draken! Krogan

There is going to be a lot of lore for this au, however, here we go.

Undel Drakens- these are the embodiment of what it means to be a stoker class dragon. They are leviathans, and are close ancestors to Red Deaths, which evolved from them after they were (almost) wiped out in a dragon v human war, due to humans encroaching on their land.

Krogan is an elder of the species, though he’s been stripped of his honor- one of his horns is routinely filed down, which is a sign of Worthlessnesses in his people. Slavery. If his horn had been broken off, it would be a show of bravery, as horns are extremely important to their caste system.

Now, Krogan is over 600+ (which makes him the oldest of his species as of right now, though they can live to be tens of thousands of years old, as they are basically the gods of the stoker class dragons) years of age, and, he’s been told he’s the very last of his kind. He’s also been forced into a human body most of the time, which makes his soul feel cramped and aloof, because he’s supposed to have the gigantic dimensions of a red death- he’s actually a bit bigger than your average red death.

It was during the last few moments during the air battle with the dragon riders over the Titan Wing Dramillion. Krogan was in his element- everything was completely fine. And then it wasn’t. The one thing that kept him human- an amulet that stored the enchantment of keeping him human, as long as it was not broken or damaged, was shattered from a blast from Toothless the Night Fury.

Krogan, knowing what would happen, had to throw himself off of his own dragon to avoid completely decimating her with his growing and changing body. And the downside of that, finally coming truly alive after two hundred years of being trapped in a cramped humanoid body, it left Krogan just as unused to his own, true form as he had been to his human form at first. And this both frustrated and angered him.

The dragon riders knew they had messed up, but it was actually Fishlegs that pointed out that Krogan still had chains and bindings on him- so he couldn’t escape, and so he couldn’t fight back against his captors- at least, not as well as he could if he could walk or open his mouth.

On the other hand, Viggo Grimborn survived the blast. He survived (mostly) the arrow wounds inflicted to him, and as the (used to be) only person besides Johann who knew what and who Krogan was, when he catches wind of the Undel, almost like a soft-scaled, freshly hatched wyrmlimg now due to the disuse of his body, he needs to find his friend (lover), and hope he isn’t too angry with him for pretending to be dead.

I just read a great fic by aisthuu "every love story is a ghost story", didn't see it in your recs so wanted to recommend it! LWJ is a guqin composer and teacher, buys a cheap guqin off eBay which ends up being attached to WWX's spirit from canon era. It's bittersweet, LWJ deals with Lan's homophobia (implicit in a Lan way) and his feelings towards the ghost. This is author's only ao3 fic and honestly I don't remember how I stumbled upon it, but I'm happy I did and hope you will enjoy it too!  [I’ve recently read this one, and loved it!]

Ok so I absolutely have to rec "see you yesterday" by glyphic. It's a wip, but it's currently at 101k so there's a whole lot there, and it's terrible and wonderful and beautiful all at once. The way the backstory of canon events is adapted to the modern-with-cultivation setting is brilliant, and then there's the amnesia, and then there's the time loop. This fic lives permanently rent-free in my brain.

It ‘‘twas I who came up with the Garmadon who ran the Eric Andre equivalent show in ninjago au. I say this fully unmasked now because I have no shame. (Also I may have binged some of Andre’s material earlier today) But uh anyways I got some more ideas for this

Garmadon has run out of fucks and he needs a hobby. Also he doesn’t want to just follow in the family business of being some sagely master.

So Garmadon decides to say fuck and it be a late night show host with heavy focus on absurd humor.

The public broadcast station has no standards and hey it’ll raise awareness and potential funding. They may also be intimidated by Garmadon’s reputation.

Listen Garmadon does have some funny one liner’s and dad jokes in the earlier seasons of ninjago.

Lloyd supports Garmadon’s insane show and helps write some of it too.

Misako was hesitant but eh if Garmadon wants to be a himbo and it helps him recover. Then why not and it’s funny.

Garmadon also yoinked Dareth as a cohost because he feels bad about burning the dojo and hey Dareth’s funny enough.

Garmadon is petty and Chen’s noodle house becomes a running gag on the show

Imagine you’re just an average citizen who just got off from your shitty retail job and you’re on the subway. Suddenly this immortal demigod just walks in a fucking black morph suit covered in like fucking instant noodles glued to it and a cone of shame.

Said demigod dramatically fucking announces that he didn’t get the job at a fast food chain. And decides to lay himself out as a human sacrifice to be consumed with warm noodles included.

There’s also a bit where Eric shows up to a McDonald’s as Ronald McDonald and pretends to fire people.

So just Garmadon showing up as Chen and doing the sketch.

Skylor loves the Chen’s noodle house jokes just because it pisses off her dad and it’s good press.

Skylor inevitably gets interviewed by Garmadon too.

Because Garmadon dying in this au would be sad.

Sorry this took awhile, I needed time to look up the clips you linked.

Skylor gets handed a (cooked) noodle crown during the interview. (since she is....the noodle princess) which she doesn't even hesitate to put on.

Garmadon keeps saying that he's sponsored by Chen's Noodle House. He's gotten sued over it twice, but he just keeps paying the suit and doing it more.

Cliff Gordon is interviewed. Garmadon spends the entire time talking over him. It starts as plausible interruptions or not realizing that he was talking, but gets more and more aggressive as it goes on. Cliff didn't actually managed to get out one single complete sentence.

Lloyd gets interviewed, and they just trash the set for the whole time. Making some small talk, but otherwise not talking.

Each of the ninja have done an interview actually. (Theirs were scripted, unlike the other guest stars.)

Zane's was just silence for the rest for the episode after he was introduced. Him and Garmadon nod a few times, and Zane shakes his head once. Neither move from their seats.

Cole and Garmadon take turns eating the crazier and crazier things while conducting an otherwise normal interview. Starting with Cole bringing a sandwich and Garmadon eating his mug. Ending with Garmadon eating Dareth.

Kai's is 95% a normal interview, but it ramps up very quickly at the end to them talking themselves into "joint suicide" with a stupid amount of fake blood.

Nya lights the set on fire after being ask to demonstrate her elemental water powers.

There are increasingly large and intrusive animals being released through out Jay's. Starting with a bee, ending with a dragon.

Pixal didn't show. She didn't warn Garmadon that she wasn't going to show. It was a real live reaction to him realizing she stood him up. (And him admitting she really understood the chaotic nature of the show.)

The ninja had to be called in to deal with the "live bear".

Love giving AfO near death experiences in the backgrounds of my aus. Like sure, he’s big and bad but that doesn’t mean he’s the only thing running around at the top of the food chain. It also doesn’t stop sheer bad luck.

Short list of AfO near death experiences:

- Yoichi nearly beat him to death with a cane

- That time AfO saved the world by fighting a world ending alien robot dragon (an oc) and almost didn’t make it

- That time AfO tried to throw his weight around against grandpa Toyomitsu (an oc) aka a weather controlling dragon. Aka a person with a long distance quirk who can control the atmosphere and responded to AfO being annoying by letting him experience the vacuum of space for a bit and then refused to let him breathe until he backed off.

- That time he got the bright idea to fight a fucking weather controlling sea dragon aka the 5th OfA user (an oc) on a sinking cruise ship in the middle of the ocean during a hurricane and nearly drowned several times.

- That time the 6th OfA user (an oc and Izuku’s great grandmother) strangled the shit out of him with her own intestines after he gutted her.

- That time he was a bit too interested in Inko’s brother (an oc)’s quirk and she promptly responded by making the inside of his head feel very funny/did something that gave him a nosebleed for a solid minute and explained that she would dismember him into melonball sized chunks if he did anything unkind towards any of her family

- That time his mother-in-law (an oc) used her psychic powers to make him choke on his wife’s cooking during a family dinner

- His first proper 1 v 1 with All Might where they double KO’ed each other

- That fucking clown abomination

humans don’t usually save dragons over slaying or running from ‘em, but centuries (and a couple dragon generations) before, a Wayne did so for a lost hatchling, ending with the dragon partnered with ‘em and grateful dragon parents once they brought the baby back, so the families grew in life and richness beside each other. good allyship! 

this was kind of an open secret for several human generations b/c nobody reasonable wants to piss off a family protected by dragons, and eventually shifts into a cool legend, like solomon grundy. stories about how the gargoyles come to life on some buildings on certain nights, particularly around where wayne manor is.

so bruce is a youngin who parlt grew up with his dragon parents and then got left with the waynes as basically a teen. not out of malice or anything, they just thought martha and thomas seemed lonely--couldn’t have a child, less for conception reasons and more for “wanting to be a reasonable parent and couldn’t be for a human child because business” reasons--and bruce was totally fine with it. 

(dragons do care about each other, and they can bond and love each other as much as anybody, but parents usually kick their kids to the edge of their territories to work things out for themselves. lots of mutual irritation and antagonism build up to a final point. humans would probably find it deeply upsetting, but tbh just as soon as the dragons are away from each other, they settle down and just don’t visit much.)

probably wasn’t named bruce originally. some dragon stuff that was absolutely bat-related since his wings were shaped like that. bruce was fine with that tho.

the dragon family had mostly lived out in the countryside and bruce ended up with a lair beneath the manor. dragons love caves! here’s a huge cave system that hasn’t been claimed in centuries! perfect!

so he lives with them for quite a while. at least a couple decades. dragons age v slowly.

aaand then martha and thomas are murdered. 

bruce was shadowing above, watching, and went to maul the guy who did it since he hadn’t been fast enough to save them, but the guy was just. a guy. sobbed about how he was poor and desperate and he very clearly was just wearing rags and was practically bones, so he just got tossed to the cops. 

and bruce learned that the cops fucking suck since they were just a douche to the guy and let him go b/c there wasn’t enough evidence (b/c bruce snatched him up and the gun got dropped some streets over and lost) but also they didn’t care.

he has to fix this. the criminals, the reasons for the murder, and the ones who were failing to prevent the crimes in the first place.

alfred has been around during all of this! wayne industries (or whatever) is sort of under his care but mostly being run by lucius. he is also incredibly concerned about his charge/sudden dragon partner wanting to become a vigilante, less for his sake and more for everyone elses’. bruce is a small dragon but dragons are damn tough, and knowledge about slaying ‘em is hard to come by; humans are usually inflictors of violence against other humans, and are much easier to kill. he’s bruce’s moral chain for a bit at the start, along with past lessons from dr. thomas that filter in after the initial grief starts fading, just a little.

lots of hoard reallocation in and out of the wayne-company-thing for charities to lessen violence and desperate circumstances. also alfred and lucius. not like bruce can do it. dragons have magic he’s no exception, but alas, shapeshifting is out of the deal.

tbh he doesn’t have that much. flames and really good eyesight and claws. some assume he’s part shadow, but nah, he’s just varying shades of black and v dark blue that help him blend in. took a lot of training to figure out how to use that in a human city.

his bio parents are extremely weirded out by all his choices, but like. they’re not going to stop him. and they’re glad someone is there to guard what they see as their family’s territory without having to be there themselves. most dragons don’t like urban areas.

they also wish he’d just fry and eat the human that killed martha and thomas, along with anyone who disrespects the wayne family’s memory. he says he’ll get to it and never does, since that would disrespect their memory further.

the bat is just known as just that: The Bat. thanks to the hush-hush historic wayne stuff above, saying dragon aloud is basically a taboo in gotham, and he really does look like a giant fucking bat from above until he’s right on top of you.

gangsters spread that he ate rival gangs and then ended up scaring the shit out of themselves to the point most of them collapsed inward. took a bit less effort than bruce expected.

so. joker! joker is delighted by an actual dragon. his agenda was just chaos but now he can harass a so-called monster that has a moral code and try to push his buttons. but mainly it’s just chaos. 

during the time he tries to play The Bat himself, he straight-up builds a dragonbat shell around a go-kart and somehow rigs it to fly a bit. it’s impressive! and exceptionally terrifying to everyone! bruce enjoys shredding it to pieces.

penguin an issue, sometimes. the guy himself can pack a punch and has lots of sharp things, but the kabuki twins are the real threat, and his flocks of birds turn out to be very good at disorienting a dragon.

the bat does not bother to solve eddie’s puzzles pre-riddler. he just rips through gorman’s house and drags them both out. lmao. sorry gorman. dragon and bomb both fuck it up real bad and he hightails it out of gotham entirely. 

edward manages to get away, barely. is still inspired to be the Riddler since his original plan was interrupted, but adds a lot of Sphinx motifs alongside the green and question marks.

bruce actually likes catwoman quite a bit. not romantically, he just doesn’t actually care so much about thieves of shiny things from the rich. she doesn’t steal from, like, hospitals or orphans, so as long as she’s not taunting him about it, he doesn’t get particularly bothered.

which she sometimes does! she thinks it’s super funny (after she works out he won’t kill her). it is absolutely a game to lure him into a chase and then try to land on his back to fly for a bit.

langstrom is still man-bat, since he doesn’t care so much for reptiles. he gets caught after getting flung into a trap meant for the bat set up by the GCPD.

dragons and magic and stuff aren’t unknown, but yin is a touch skeptical when she first transfers over. dragons aren’t known to interfere with humans outside of stealing things they like, and almost always stay outside of urban areas. spends a while thinking he’s something else spelled into looking like a dragon, and then thinks he has an ulterior motive after that’s ruled out.

ethan isn’t directly friends with bruce, but he still does think the bat isn’t a bad guy. even ends up flying on his back a few times while being rescued, and there’s nothing more exhilarating (after he realizes he isn’t going to be launched the hell off the first time).

poor ethan also has a slightly better deal in this version. weird fucked up spells are not unknown. he gets mixed up with joker and turns into clayface, and while it takes a while for anyone to realize exactly who he is, people don’t flip the fuck out quite so badly when he staggers into the streets. 

a cure takes ages, though, since everyone was looking for magic.an unknown spell or a particularly nasty curse, that sort of thing. but joker is more into science, or at least alchemy, which nobody thinks about for a long time since he stops with the joker putty after. 

similar issue with ivy! the shit that changes pamela into poison ivy was called magic by the company because that’s seen as a more popular alternative (sometimes) with grown food, but that’s incredibly difficult with real magic, and they destroyed the supply to cover their own tracks. so nobody can fix it because they’re looking in the wrong place entirely until it’s too late.

batgirl, instead of having batarangs, has real good claws on her hands and feet along with her athletic abilities at the start. this is extremely upsetting to bruce b/c he is very aware of how tiny and fragile humans are at this point! tries v hard to discourage her, and then drags her directly to the batcave for a lecture from a disguised alfred and then helps design her grappling hooks and at least some better armor.

she also. definitely leaves some scars on some bad guys before she learns to use her claws right. and nicks herself and her cape a bunch. learns to sew and a lot of first aid... 

the bat is less of a direct ally of gordon this time. they team up pretty reluctantly at first. gordon isn’t intentionally being a jerk, he’s honestly just stressed at being around a giant monster that can apparently materialize out of thin air, and even though the bat trusted yin and ethan, he’s deeply suspicious about police higher-ups of any sort.

dick, after what happens to him, ends up in foster care v briefly and then runs away. finds the cave system, stays there for a little while until bruce finds him. he styles himself robin before actually being properly adopted, just by alfred instead of bruce. same thing here.
