I think it's simply marvellous to wake up in a tamillian household.

The warm decoction filter coffee from the two tier coffee filter poured into a steel glass next to a plate of warm and soft iddlie with thengai chutney and karam pudi.
The kolam with an intricate pattern and the poovu in my hair which my amma tucks in with a U pin. The dark green valayal that clink in a melodious rhythm
The simple yet eye-catching pattu saree the ladies wear at temples with matching bottu and jimki kambal. The soft hum of mahishasura mardini chanting. The pongal in tapioca leaf. And that familiar golusu sound of little girls.
The raised eyebrows, the loud and happy voices ,the overly inviting and loving people who love to feed.
I come from the culture of the chozhas and temple bells and tamizh.

.... and the various faces of the work in the times of today .. no this is not any kind of metaphorical attention drawing device or an out dated eruption , it is as it is .. and represents love for all .. care and gratitude for all ..
.. but this is just an aspect of it .. kind and gentle and sublime in servile presence .. at times it does get a bit ..
... and there is no blame at any particular person or the like .. just .. the need to express frustration and apprehension and ‘what the heck am I doing here..’ kind of times ..
.. and at times the visuals of the games that parade in front of us each day, particularly for the other side of the globe and the Windies ..
... no I have not taken any wicket at the WC 2019, but there are some that ecstatic-ate after a success wicket in thus fashion - a march up the pitch a salute, and a wide spread of the arms ..
.. seen it have you not .. pretty impressive .. its called military precision .. the ball bowled, and the wicket taken .. 🤣 in the style and type of the West Indies .. the Indies where the calypso never stops to be played .. the entire day .. somewhere around about it plays and can be heard throughout .. and it has its effect on them that come not from there .. and the rhythm and the style follows them wherever they go, in whatever they do ..
every visit of mine has been given such reception .. difficult to put away .. much like the pace of their bowling in the game of cricket ..
but seriously though, the work for the day over and spending some time with fresh makers who wish to employ, who recall pioneer days .. its so remarkable to be in their midst .. and dwell on their narrations and visions in the making ..
our associations are ever so heart warming and filled with the love of togetherness .. it is so endearing .. so unusual and so filled with care and genuineness ..
So the work was with the gold finance company Muthoot and each day brings us such remarkable incidents and stories ..
... that the gold reserve in the individual capacity in our country is approx 22,000 tons of Gold .. kept privately in homes .. whereas the official Gold reserve in the country’s mint must be about 2000 tons .. I cannot vouch for this, for it has been given to me in conversation with responsible people in the trade .. that must be very close to the largest individual silent asset of a nation , of the world, of the universe .. haha !! YES .. lady India has great affection for the preserve of the shiny yellow and has it safely stored for that rainy day .. or just the fact that it lies within your premises, gives them the strength of their security ..
It is getting on in time but I have work to complete .. to write to enact to convey the essence of the project and so much more ..
