I'm on my 7th day of covid isolation after managing to not catch it for 5 years. I was booked to get my booster next week, but I think I got done at the supermarket. Fortunately I'm considered old enough to have access to the anti virals. (Dammit /s). They are working great. But that means you get even more whimsy.

enjoying fruit is impossible when even one bad experience with a food can ruin it forever. nature is too inconsistent. artificial foods are all I can tolerate anymore and my guts are in anguish

I would eat a Mediterranean Diet if my life was like in Under the Tuscan Sun and I was constantly surrounded by high quality fresh fruits and vegetables (and cheap house wines but none of the health websites are mentioning that part for some reason).

My fave neighbour I've lived next to for 15 years had a stroke and died :(

#he was the funniest old dude #was from greece and had a Thick accent #he grew /everything/ in his lil backyard #i mean all fruit and veges and even coffee beans #had great stories about when he first immigrated here with his wife and the anglo kids had never had spaghetti #and his wife fed them some after theyd helped her out #and these kids went home and said that the new people in tiwn had 'fed then worms'#just a nice old fellow and i will miss him 🤧#rip Stan

Can't wait to upload the after picture of this area I'm clearing for my vege patch but I'm so excited about how good the soil is here which is also fairly moist all the time due to this being so close to where water off the mountain comes out from what I'm assuming is an underground creek. Will be a massive benefit during dry spells out here.
