On my main blog and insta I'm doing a Dralloween challenge with a prompt list from Mab Graves! The 15th prompt is "Reaper" so I had to make some new HWFWM fanart - Velius, the vessel for the Reaper!

Design notes: - Velius is described as "a celestine, with dark skin and a bushy mound of curly, silver hair that match[es] his eyes". - Since the Reaper's headquarters were described as minimalist compared to the Builder's, I made his robes fairly plain. - The first time these vessels were described being possessed they didn't mention eye changes, but a later one they did, I went with an all-black eye variant.

56: If they’re scared, who do they want comfort from? Does this answer change depending on the type of fear?

Azar - Even though she's only known him for a couple months, she seeks comfort from the paladin in the party, Cainnan. He's a golden retriever sunshine boy... who gives real good hugs. So far it hasn't mattered very much what the fear was, Cainnan was already there as soon as he noticed.

Raz - Honestly? No one. She's still really closed off from everyone - but she's getting closer with Fruit Salad, our kenku barbarian (it helps that they talk through telepathy and he can't repeat anything to anyone...) and has in the past confided in Kaito, the triton paladin. Kaito is pretty carefree and lighthearted, so he's better for more surface-level comfort. Fruit has uh... seen some shit, much like Raz, so he's who she's more comfortable leaning on with the darker shit.

Aston - Isthmus! Their best friend from childhood. It does not matter what the scary thing is, Isthmus is who Aston instinctively goes to.

Kara - She honestly has the biggest support system - her parents, her best friend Anastrianna, and her partner Max. Honestly she mostly goes to whoever is closest, regardless of what's got her scared!
