What would Stellar's siblings be like if they were still alive?
Actually since I saw the comic I've been wondering that, I'm very curious xd.
(I love stellelar she is one of my favorite sonadow fanchilds)
Several people have asked for this, so here you go!! :P What Stellar's failed lab siblings would look like if they had survived! They are in order from oldest to youngest.
The way he starts the scene so intently looking at her with not admiration but almost gloating, in a sense, because he’s told her that he missed her and her letters, so of course Penelope being Penelope she’ll just faun and look bashful and maybe mumble a line out to him, but it shifts to a 180 when she starts saying she’s the laughing stock of the ton and that she knows he’d never court her no matter what she ‘changes’ about herself to fit the ton’s needs and wants. You can see he avoids her gaze and looks anywhere but directly into her eyes, because she’s no longer praising him and awarding his own thoughts by amusing him. I think here he realizes that what she’s saying is true and he’s embarrassed/maybe even a little ashamed to admit that he’s also thought that or thought something similar. But I think he also realizes, once she says he’s cruel and just like the rest of the ton, that he’s taken Penelope for granted. She’s always indulged in his adventures and whims and travels, all of his family troubles, all of his internal-self issues, etc. and that she’s always been nothing but “kind” to him, when in reality she wasn’t revealing everything she probably wanted to say or felt at the time, because how could she ever hurt Colin or do something to take the good-natured smile and easy going wiles away from him? His Penelope would never do that! But she’s becoming her own person for once and entering into her own agency, and he’s not sure how to maneuver through it, let alone with her through it. So I feel as though he looks at her with a sense of shame and regret as she walks away- so much he wants to deny and refute but not being able to because he believes some of it to be true as she believes as well.
I know I may dream but I think Sonic should go through a depression/guilt arc, bc you know, he thinks he straight up killed everyone he loves + his whole world while at it. He’s a really neurodivergent kid, he can’t handle something of this magnitude.
Also the second panel happens after their fight, I just wanted to get this finished quick. Anyway yeah they fought and the realization hit Sonic during it and he just froze, and Shadow decked him and probably kicked him to a new shatterspace
AU version where due to that guilt he begins to despise himself, and isolates from everyone, because he feels he’s a liability, and that anyone he comes close to will meet their doom because of him.
EDIT: After reading some theories, I came up w an alt AU version! So if all the shatterspaces are in fact the prime world getting split into pieces, same going for the gang’s personalities and such, the change is that Sonic pushes through and reunites the shards, fixing his home world! But once done so, he disappears from sight, doing the whole isolation bit. The heaviest part of the guilt arc basically gets pushed back to until the prime world’s already fixed.
Of course he deals with a lot of quilt and depression in the meantime, but he learns to bottle up and hide his emotions. Prime!Sonic is very emotional, open and talkative, but in this AU, over the course of the series, he becomes more dubdued- again, hides emotions, talks less (tho not too much less, cuz boy’s gotta mask) and starts keeping to himself more. He’s doing the whole “talking about surface troubling stuff to appear open and honest, while in fact keeping all heavier trauma concealed underneath”. Keeps on a smile, but it begins to hurt.
People wanted to see what life might've been like if all of Stellar's lab siblings had survived and were rescued by Shadow along with Stellar, so here you go!
