HAPPY 27TH BIRTHDAY ONG SEONGWU 🎉🎉🎉

I would like to wish happy birthday to my all time favourite singer and actor. It such a joy to know him since Produce 101 season 2 five years ago.

The moment he performed That's What I Like during the first ranking evaluation, he caught my attention. His good sense of humor and dorkiness makes me fall deeper on him.

I'm so proud that you were successfully debuted under Wanna One back then. How could i not hate him? He's really down to earth and a very nice person. I loved how he become a moodmaker of the group.

hey nonny! :3 i’m not sure what groups you already know/listen to, so I’ll just list a few of my favorites!

boy groups

BTS - a seven member group (four vocalists, three rappers) that debuted in 2013 and have an awesome and extensive discography. they seem to have a little something for everyone genre and concept-wise, near endless amounts of content to enjoy, and just a really genuine feeling to everything they do. I recommend their songs: Butterfly, I Need U, Run, Awake, The Truth Untold, Outro: Wings, Awake, 2! 3!, Autumn Leaves, Tomorrow, Coffee, Converse High, Spring Day, Outro: Tear.

TXT - a five member group that debuted in 2019 under the same label as BTS. they don’t have official positions besides the leader (Soobin) and are a little younger than BTS (the oldest member is 23). their sound ranges from dreamy, magical pop to raspy pop punk, with elements of trap, hip hop, and r&b. they recently had a comeback with their EP, The Name Chapter: Temptation! I recommend their songs: Blue Orangeade, New Rules, Eternally, Drama, Blue Hour, Ghosting, Dear Sputnik, Frost, Anti-Romantic, 0x1=Lovesong, Sugar Rush Ride.

Seventeen - a thirteen member group that debuted in 2015. I only listen to them casually so I don’t know as much about them as a whole, but their music is extremely good quality in my opinion. I recommend their songs: Very Nice, Pretty U, Adore U, Holiday, 17, Ready to Love, Pinwheel, Left & Right, Mansae, Home, Don’t Wanna Cry.

Others I recommend: Wanna One, The Rose, Pentagon, Day6.

girl groups

Twice - a nine member group that debuted in 2015. The queens of cute pop that have evolved their sound over time to something more mature but still super fun. I recommend the songs: Perfect World, Cry For Me, SOS, Better, Kura Kura, Behind The Mask, Make Me Go, 21:29, Likey, TT.

DIA - a six member group that debuted in 2015 and released their last singles last year. One of my favorite girl groups of all time with underrated chill bops. I recommend their songs: Will You Go Out With Me, No, 5 More Minutes, Crescendo, Daily, Hug U, Nobody Knows, To You, Woowoo, Woowa, Good Night, Can’t Stop, Listen To This Song.

Kep1er - a nine member group that debuted in 2021. They’re still rookies but have super talented members and fun music. I recommend the songs: MVSK, Le Voya9e, Wa Da Da, Shine, Rewind, Wing Wing.

Others I recommend: Everglow, G-IDLE, ITZY, Cherry Bullet.

wanna one (ex) ong seongwoo... my biggest regret in life is the fact that he stopped music and is only acting i mean i'm happy if he is happy but this is a real bummer for me JFHRJEK

izone (ex) jo yuri she has such a pure and sweet voice, all izone's voices are dear to me but she is exceptional

you groaned seeing seongwoo approaching

he casually rested his arm on your shoulder as if it’s the most normal thing to do

“hey~ you’re looking beautiful today too”

you pushed his arm away and continued walking

“oh, i like that attitude” and he rested his arm again on your shoulders

“can you please stop this? there are plenty of women who are more than happy to flirt with you.”

“well, i don’t want them. i WANT you”

you rolled your eyes and after pushing his arms again, you run FAST

seongwoo is the most popular man in school. you didn’t know anything about his reputation. you simply agreed because he’s super handsome and of course, good-looking people are popular

“the rumors are true. after we did it last weekend, Seongwoo stopped talking to me”, a woman from a higher year said as she was crying.

you didn’t mean to eavesdrop. at that time, you were assigned to throw the trash aka you (lol no)

so when you heard that, you knew that Seongwoo is bad news. but you didn’t mind it that much. what’s the possibility to interact with him???

after spending time with a lot of women, Seongwoo still feels bored. so he is in search for his next girl. after roaming around the school, he got three candidates (lol, this be soundin like a pageant)

he was sitting on a park bench thinking of the next girl (THIS MAN IS TAKING THIS SHIT SERIOUSLY) when you approached him wrong move

you had to look for a single cucumber. why a cucumber of all things????

so much to your dismay, the local supermarket is closed for the day so you have to look for another store. if you can remember correctly, there should be a store near the park. you’ve been looking for a while but you can’t see it. and you don’t want to go home empty-handed ‘cause your mother would turn into a beast. fortunately, you saw a young man so you approached him

when he looked at you, you wanted to run away but you want to buy that cucumber (EVERYTHING FOR MOTHER’S CUCUMBER)

“h-hi. do you know where’s the nearest s-store?”

sTOP stuttering y/n!!!

“oh, hi. you have to pass that alley there”, he said as he pointed the said alley

“thanks”, you turned your heel, ready to zoom out of his vision

“should i go with you?”, seongwoo offered. talking to someone can at least help him forget about that r e a l l y important thing he’s thinking of.

“nO! NO THANKS!”

seongwoo looked at you, bewildered by your response

“i-i’m sorry. but really, you don’t need to. bye!”

and you ninja run your way out of there

finally, you bought that cucumber and mother is calm again

the next time you met seongwoo was in school. usually, he would just pass by you and you expected it to stay that way. so you’re in the same hallway and you crossed paths and you sighed in relief when nothing happened

suddenly, a hand pulled your wrist and there you have, seongwoo in front of your face.

“you’re that girl in the park”

you covered your face, hoping that it will magically change your face

“no, you got the wrong person”

“nope. i’m pretty sure you are that person”

again, you ninja run to get away from him

after that, he never left your side again. in other words, you are his next TARGET and you know it

so you did your best not to fall for his words and gentlemanly actions. not even for his good-looking face though there were countless times when you almost did

but you didn’t know that seongwoo’s actually getting pissed already because he still can’t get what he wants from you

usually, it only took him a few weeks, even days but it has been months and there’s no progress

“if you’re so angry, why aren’t you stopping?”, Minhyun, a close friend of him said.

“it hurts my pride. i will definitely get her”

“i know men who changed because of this kind of thinking”

seongwoo scoffed. “y/n is too far from my ideal woman. i just have to get her and i’m done with her”

at the same time, you’ve been experiencing weird events. your desk getting small doodles, your locker messier than usual and you getting pushed on the side by some women. you’ re not getting bullied ,right?

your guess proved to be right when three women became more obvious about it. they pulled you aside during break

you learned that they were seongwoo’s past women. obviously, it’s seongwoo’s fault for leaving them but they decided to let it all out on you.it seems like seongwoo never had other women aside from you for months.

you skipped your next class to get treated for your wounds in the clinic. it was nothing major but you still have to disinfect it.

seongwoo, determined than ever, went to look for you. no one knows where you are, even your friends. your bag is still at school so he knows that you haven’t gone home. the last place to check is the clinic. he went there without much expectations. why will you be there in the first place?

contrary to his expectations, you were there, sleeping in one of the beds. he went beside you and noticed the band-aid plastered on your cheek. you woke up when he continuously stroke your cheek. worry was all over his face.

“y/n, are you okay? what happened?”

“god. stop looking at me as if i’m going to die. just got a few bruises”

you stood up knowing that it was nearing sunset. fortunately, after some sleep, the pain was gone.

seongwoo kept on cracking jokes but you did not respond. you’re not in the mood especially when he’s the reason why this happened to you.

“did my jealous girls did this to you? what should we do with this handsomeness?”, it was clear that he said it as a joke and he expected a sarcastic comment from you but you looked back at him with a blank face.

“w-wait. did they do this to you???”

“yup. happy now?”, you said as you were fixing the bed

“ wait. i don’t mean to do that....”

“don’t you think you should stop following me now, seongwoo?”

and then you left. after that, seongwoo did not approach you again. you would be lying if you can’t feel any loneliness. you were used to his presence.

weeks after, you felt better but seongwoo felt otherwise. his friends felt the change in seongwoo’s personality. he doesn’t laugh with them anymore and he stopped hanging out with women even though he’s already done with you

“wanna talk to her?”, Minhyun suggested.

“no. she hates me.

“i told you already that you might fall for y/n but you did not listen.”

“minhyun, this is not the time for that. i don’t know what to do. i want to approach her, hug her and kiss her. it’s the first time i felt this.”

jaehwan, another friend of his, laughed at seongwoo’s confession. him and minhyun can’t believe the words that left seongwoo’s mouth.

“you know that nothing will be solved if you’ll just stay here. talk to her and just... be prepared for wht she has to say”, minhyun tried to advise him.

after a few days, minhyun and jaehwan were already losing their patience so they did what they can do. they went to your classroom during break.

“y/n, do you have some time later? can you talk to seongwoo?”

“uhhh.. why should i talk to him?”

“just.. talk to him, alright? at the nearby park, after class hours. “

before you can respond, they left. it made you nervous. it took you some time to feel okay. seeing him again might bring back your feelings THOUGH YOU STILL LIKE HIM UP UNTIL NOW

you waved to your friends and went to the nearby park, where you first talked to him. you saw him sitting to a bench. he was fidgeting his fingers and sweat was dropping on his forehead.

“hey”, and this got his attention

“so, what do you want to talk about?”

he did not speak so you decided to open up a conversation

“i’ve heard that you stopped hanging out with different girls. it’s good to know that you’ve changed.”

......... no response

the sun had already set but he’s still not talking

wAIT is this a prank?????

“seongwoo, are you... playing with me? because i don’t have time for your games. i thought we’ll have a serious talk”

you stood up but was stopped when he grabbed your wrist. panic was all over his face.

“wait... please sit.”

he never let go of your wrist. you waited for him to speak. you took in a big breathe when he suddenly hugged you

“i missed you... so much”, he whispered.

you were wishing that he wouldn’t hear the loud beating of your heart. obviously, you were just stopping it when the both of you were always together because of his reputation. but a hug???!!! like this?? while whispering to you?!! girl, you’re about to die out of air.

“did you miss me?”, he added.

the way he said it made him sound vulnerable and it’s the first time you’ve seen and heard him like this.

“... yes, ,i miss you, seongwoo”, and his hug wrapped you tighter

you hugged him back feeling the sincerity of his words and actions

“.....y/n, i like you and i’m not playing with you. i’m saying what i truly feel”

your heart start beating in an unbelievable speed. you never expected that he will also fall for you. thoughts were occupying your mind when seongwoo called your name. (YOU ARE STILL HUGGING BTW) you pushed him lightly so you can see his face

“seongwoo- -

“don’t. if you’re going to reject me, let’s stay like this. i don’t want you to see my face”

“i like you too”, you whispered and he was fast, fast to unwrapped you from his tight hug and looked at you straight in the face

“what? y-you like me? are you sure?”

surprised, relief, joy. all of these were written on his face.

you puckered your lips and gave him a quick peck on his lips which caught him by surprise.

“yes, seongwoo. i am sure.”

he gave you soft smile and kissed you back

bTW, minhyun and jaehwan were actually at the scene. behind a tree near the bench where you are seated on. they let out a big sigh after hours of waiting for the confession to happen

note: i haven’t written anything for quite sometime. this is definitely not my best but i hope you still like it :)
