I've chosen my word for the year 2019 to be COURAGE. I am sharing what inspired me, what it represents and means to me and how I am planning to cultivate and embrace it on the blog today. . Webtroverts

Like there are introverts and extroverts, webtroverts are a new category of people that have emerged in the current era of social networking. These are people who are very bold and social on networking websites and can communicate with others with ease, but are shy and introvertish in the real world scenario. If you meet a typical webtrovert on a website s/he will talk to you and will be outgoing but in a real life situation s/he will struggle to initiate sensible conversation. This is the irony of our times where people can express themselves freely in virtual worlds but fail to do so in the real time environments.

I'm going through a very Japanese phase. I've been reading a lot of manga (apart from other types of comics) and watching animes these days because I like them and because I'm having some kind of reader's block. I start April wanting to read again, perhaps I'll get over with the block reading "The Makioka sisters". As a bookmark I will use this beautiful postcard that Magrat and Danvers sent me when they traveled to Japan. The cup is not very Japanese but the tea is sencha (Japanese green tea). Do any of you go through "theme" phases like me? Tell me! . I'd like to remind you that you can recommend me books, or movies... whatever you want. Happy Easter! . . I read this book back in december when I requested it on Netgalley and was accepted. I loved it, perhaps love isn't a proper word for a book like this one for there is so much horror and pain in it. But it is a necessary book, an important book, a book that everyone should read. . "This book is heartbreaking, hard, difficult, sad… but what amazes me is the hope, it is hopeful. Lale, Gita and many other people went to hell, and spent there three years of their lives, three years stolen from them, and they never lost hope. And they loved, and they were loved. I have three posts coming up for the Christmas season and this is the first one. My Secret Santa of 2017 was Oly.
