Once they get up to speed with their skills, they start clearing floors (let's just assume its the same premise as SAO, just different game). They (minus Brainy, maybe) join other savage players to start clearing the deep dungeon, and quickly develop a reputation for working really well together. Its almost as if they've been working together for years, both in game and irl.

Lena especially is known for dealing significant damage, to the point she nearly takes aggro from the tanks. So Kara and the others do their best to ensure she can stay inside her leylines and do her thing uninterrupted as much as possible.

I still maintain that Kara is 100% Paladin, but I don't remember what I said Alex was, so I'm officially assigning her to Gunbreaker. Makes sense, right? She's a tank so she can help her sister, but also gets a gunblade. Win win.

...with a little help from mods and a modified screenshot to put in her bangs. I drew them in using Krita. She just doesn't look complete to me without the bangs, even if it's been 10+ years and her hairstyle has changed a little. Mainly, she cut it down a bit lol. so, i'm alive and today i played the archon quest in its entirety, tomorrow will be lyney's story quest turn

i'm not going to lie, i don't have many characters built — in fact, almost none is built except my current team that isn't even that good, it's a miracle i managed to survive until now.

and now, with the new mechanic needed for basically almost everything, i have to put a stop to how i planned things if i wanna explore and save for neuvillette (although my pity is quite high, i have guaranteed and enough pulls already, but that's all for wriothesley) although there is still plenty of time till his first rerun and the exploration rewards won't ofc fade away, otherwise i will have to stop exploration right at the start, finish asap with my characters and then speedrun the exploration

i recognise it is my own fault for always pulling characters and never building cuz there were so many things and lost track, but damn it's still annoying ;-;

anyway goodnight, i might post another request tomorrow, just need to proofread ^^

Mannnnn, I hate relying on other people for the shit I need.

It just makes you beholden to that person's schedule, whims, mood changes, and extenuating circumstances, and life in general. I gotta wait around for them to do whatever it is I need from them, and I hate that because I know I could save myself all that time by just doing everything myself and be done that much sooner.

I've got a funny inkling that this is some sort of "toxic independence" as-yet-unidentified trauma response (which I guess mean 5+ years of AEDP is finally taking root) but boy is it hard to talk myself out of - I mean, you just can't deny the logic is absolutely watertight.
