HAPPY SEVENTEENTH ANNIVERSARY!

Hey guys! It's Motionless's seventeenth anniversary today! It's amazing how far they've come and they're still going strong! This collage includes all past and present band members and album covers from The Whorror (2007), When Love Met Destruction (2009), Creatures (2010), Infamous (2012), Reincarnate (2014), Graveyard Shift (2017), Disguise (2019), and finally a band picture from a photo shoot for their album Scoring The End Of The World (2022)! I truly hope they continue making music, touring, etc. And I hope all fans stay with them through the years! I truly hope they stay around for much longer than we expect! Honestly, I can't help but say no matter what I hope that we'll all support them. 💜🤘

so. like. the thing is. we know from naomi that cas had a history of rebellious behaviour going back thousands of years and yet he was still chosen to rescue the righteous man from hell. cas led his own garrison and was a skilled strategist so maybe, all other things aside, he was simply one of the best angels for the job - maybe even his rebellious nature had always tended towards aiding humanity and that was considered a boon for this mission ie. he would work harder than other angels to get the job done. 

but. what seems much more likely. imho. is cas being sacrificed on this mission. he wasn't expected to survive let alone raise the righteous man himself. he was sent to hell in the hope that he wouldn't return. so that he would no longer be a problem. 

#cascore #castiel #thoughts #raised from perdition #destiel #and i just find this extremely funny #like trying to fire an incompetent employee but you don't have the authority to do so #so you set him up to fail on a suicide mission - but then he succeeds and is suddenly so revered you can't just get rid of him #so you send him away on a corporate retreat (re:train the ambition out of him) but it doesn't work #and he soon becomes the CEO of the most powerful company in the world - but he has a breakdown so you get him comitted #and when he returns to work you use him as your corporate puppet to push your own agenda #which backfires bc while you were worried about his rebellion against the company - he was falling in love #with a guy he met on that suicide mission you sent him on. and that love leads both to your termination #and the destruction of the entire company #*taylor tomlinson voice* and that's what we call a self-fulfilling prophecy #naomi

#yo it's d :) #you already know who that fucking guy is unless you’re new here and that’s none of you so . #i need to start asking my friends if i can talk about that guy but it’s hard honestly #he literally takes up 50 to 80 per cent of my mind on a daily basis #even when i’m not thinking about him i’m thinking of him #i’ll see something blue and be like ‘wow! yk who really likes the color blue?’ and suddenly my brain is flooded with thoughts of Him #don’t get me wrong i love him but i realize that other people don’t care about him as much as i do so i’m trying to dial it back #still. it’s hard. #especially knowing that other people know how to contain themselves and i’m just sitting here raw out in the open like this #to be honest idk how i managed to survive school because since september i’ve kinda been living in mana hell(/heaven. depending on the day) #some people say they have addictive personalities and honestly i think that’s me #my brain is addicted to him! i literally study this man’s face and mannerisms and can tell you exactly how he smiles when his expression #is otherwise neutral. i can relay unnecessary amounts of his band history to you and have watched WAY too many interviews and videos #and the worst part? i literally told myself ‘hey! you can’t get like this again’* because the last time was really bad! it was destructive! #*(about a person.) i literally cannot function sometimes for just thinking about this guy. #i rarely listen to music besides his anymore and can literally tell you characteristic features of his composing! it’s kind of embarrassing! #like i’m a music nerd but i’m not THAT big of a music nerd. i usually can’t tell you things like that. most i can do is tell you #instrumentation. but whenever i listen to something he *mightve* composed i can automatically confirm or deny. #that’s not normal !!!!!!!! #having over *2000* pictures of a person you’ve never met in your phone is not normal! #but despite me being in the goddamn TRENCHES. i love him so so so much. #he genuinely makes me so happy. seeing images/videos of him from any time period makes me go ‘!!!’ because i think he’s the coolest! #and he’s so inspiring. he’s part of the reason i took up drawing again and regained some passion for music. #thus ends my tale of woe.
