Willy had the most brilliant idea for Valentine’s Day. He spent months preparing a perfect gift for you. The Oompa Loompas helped him build, make and decorate a room dedicated to you, filled with your favourite treats and things. Right now, Willy was reviewing everything and ensuring everything was perfect. He giggled to himself as he checked over the lollipop tree that had different shapes and varieties of lollipops.
He stood and walked out of the room and toward the lounge where you sit and read. “Dewdrop! I have a surprise for you. Can you please follow me?!” He awkwardly smiles, rocking back and forth on his heels as he holds his hand out for you to take. You look up and smile at him, softly placing your hand in his glove-covered one and slowly standing. Willy felt giddy as he led you out of the room toward the closed pink door. “Close your eyes!” Your eyes close, smiling as you hear your partner giggle in glee. Willy opened the door and gently led you into the large room, feeling nerves enter him as he waited for your reaction. “Okay, Dewdrop! Open your eyes!”
You open your eyes and look around the room in awe, taking in the giant pink and red trees with different kinds of lollipops on their leaves, the light pink grass and the big gummy bears littered around the room, your very own chocolate water fountain. You wondered how Willy made it have a mix of white and milk chocolate without the two colliding. You couldn’t believe your eyes, taking in how beautiful everything looked and finally understanding why he had been cooped up for so long. “Willy…. This, this is amazing.” You look up at him with tears in your eyes, and your mouth drops open in amazement. “You did all this for me?”
He nods, nervously smiling as he clasps his hands together. A squeak escapes him as you launch yourself at him and wrap your arms and legs around his body, holding onto him tight as you press kisses all over his face. “Thank you, baby. Thank you so much.” Your hands cup his cheeks as you look into his eyes before leaning forward and bringing him into a deep passionate kiss. Your eyes catch onto something behind him, and you slowly look over and smile. “Willy Wonka, you are one special person.” You unwrap your legs and jump down, pressing a kiss into his cheek and walk over to the lifesize version of him. Holding a purple box, you slowly open the lid and look inside, smiling as you pull out a pretty pearl necklace, turning to look at Willy, noticing that he’s moved closer.
Willy stands there with a small smile, carefully taking the necklace from you and gesturing for you to turn around. You turn around and lift your hair as he puts it onto you. “I know it’s not much… But I thought of you when I saw it.” You turn back around and give him a soft glare, “Oh, do you not like it? I can take it back….”
“Willy, you did great. The necklace is beautiful, and the room is wonderful.” You place your hand on his cheek as you look up at him. “You’re so perfect, and I love you so much.” Willy looks down at you softly, pressing his forehead into yours.
“I love you so much, my little dewdrop.”

Hello there dear! Can I request Willy wonka (2005) with an s/o that’s an artist (traditional or digital) that shows their love through their art? Example: S/o drew a picture of Willy and themselves together (cuddling, kissing, or just some shitpost of them being silly) and shows it to him?
Absolutely! I also like to make art so this will be fun! I’m going to do it in head canon form cuz I think it will be easier :) sorry if it’s not exactly what you envisioned or if it’s too short

Willy Wonka with an Artist S/O
Tumblr media
If you can recall, I mentioned that I think Willy himself is surprisingly good at drawing in my SFW headcanons.
He keeps his drawings of anything other than concepts for new products or blueprints for a new room, private. He’s too embarrassed to show anyone.
That being said, he loves when you show him your work!
It’s best to show him at a time where he isn’t busy otherwise he’d brush you off. It’s not that he doesn’t want to see it, he’s just preoccupied with work and once he’s focused on something it’s hard for him to tear away sometimes.
If you ever have an idea for a new candy: DRAW IT!!! He’d love to see it and would do his best to make it a reality.
As for drawing you and him together? He’d be a little flustered but he’d adore it.
One of his love languages is gift giving so he’d very much enjoy any art you gift him.
His reactions are a little underwhelming sometimes but it doesn’t mean he loves them any less.
“Oh look at that. It’s us sitting near the chocolate river. How cute.”
No matter what though he always gives you a cute smile.
If you go through art block he’ll notice since you haven’t shown him anything recently and he’ll bring you to a room in the factory that you either haven’t been to in a while or at all and hope he can spark that creativity again.
If you draw any of the Oompa Loompa’s and show them, they will go crazy. They love drawings of themselves and it always makes Willy happy to see you getting along with them.
Sometimes Willy and you will sit in silence, maybe have some music playing quietly, while you both draw. Him on concept art (or maybe a secret portrait of you) and you, drawing him. He loves those moments.

Ncuti Gatwa’s Rolling Stone article, the Doctor Who bits
“My Doctor is emotionally vulnerable. He hides it with humour, but he’s lonely,” says Gatwa of his forthcoming reinvention of the ever-changing Doctor. “I can’t say much more than that; I don’t want to spoil anything. But he’s also energetic! The poor cameramen struggled to keep up.”
To hear Gatwa tell the story of his casting, it almost sounds like he was granted a wish. One day he emailed his agent saying he wanted to play a role like Willy Wonka or the Doctor — and just a week later he was asked to audition for the part of the Time Lord. To prepare, Gatwa spent a week watching every Doctor Who episode since its 2005 revival. Although he had enjoyed the show previously, he never considered himself a habitual fan. He emerged from that binge-watching week a die-hard Whovian.
“I fell in love with it,” he enthuses, and he means it. There is undoubtedly a special quality about Doctor Who that’s hard to deny. “When you watch it, you forget all your troubles,” says Gatwa. “You go to space, or to another time. You have adventures.”
A big part of the show’s post-2005 story revolves around the Doctor having survived a devastating war that wiped out the rest of his people. This is a plot point that has since been undone and then redone; its current status in the canon is somewhat unclear. But it’s this that Gatwa latched onto because in that storyline he was able to see a reflection of his own life. As a child, Gatwa and his family fled Rwanda, escaping the genocide against the Tutsi minority. They settled in Scotland. “This person survived a genocide. This person fits in everywhere and nowhere. I am the Doctor. The Doctor is me. I decided that I had to get this role,” says Gatwa.
“I’m very nervous. I have a lot of sleepless nights where I lie awake feeling my heartbeat,” he says. It’s hard to imagine the pressure he must suddenly be feeling, but it’s understandable nevertheless. Doctor Who is a science-fiction family show that has run, on and off in some form, for 60 years. It’s also a nexus of so much of British culture. Like James Bond, the Doctor is a character through which Britain learns to understand itself, as much an icon of our changing times as a fictional being. The show’s connection to British identity means tensions can run high and fans can be cruel at times, seemingly over-protective because they feel that the show is something they own. They can also be bigoted in the most predictable ways.
“I’m the first Black man to play this character. The British press can be very mean,” he says of the reaction to his casting. But Gatwa is determined to remain steadfast in the face of criticism. “I just have to focus on the job and stay true to what the Doctor is: a mad scientist alien who has adventures and cares about everyone,” he says.
Thankfully, the Doctor Who team are helping him handle the pressures that come with his new role. “Russell T Davies has been amazing, too. He calms me down. He’s such an Earth sign. I can get very anxious, but therapy helps, and they’ve made sure that I have time put aside to have my sessions.”
Gatwa has also drawn support from some of the past Doctors, and has met Peter Capaldi, David Tennant and Matt Smith in person. He ran into Smith at a party before he’d been announced for the role and tipsily said “I’m following in your footsteps!” — a remark which baffled Smith until Gatwa was officially confirmed as the new Doctor. Gatwa tells me that Tennant set up a group chat where some of the previous actors stay in contact with one another, and they’ve all offered Gatwa support and advice on dealing with the press. After all, the only people that can really know what it’s like to be the Doctor are those who have been the Doctor. Once you’re cast, you’ll always be part of the show’s long history.
The series will return to BBC One (and Disney+ in other territories) in three specials this coming November, all — as far as we know — starring David Tennant once more. Gatwa’s first episode will be in a Christmas special set to air in December.
Doctor Who is all about reinvention and with Gatwa, this bold reimagining can be seen in his aesthetic interpretation of the offbeat time-travelling alien. Fashion might not be the first thing people associate with Doctor Who, but what the Doctor wears is an intrinsic part of the show. Tom Baker’s long scarf, David Tennant’s pinstripe suit; those are things that people immediately associate with it. But Gatwa’s Doctor might well be the first fashion-conscious one. “The day Russell invited me to meet everybody, they asked me what sort of costume I wanted. I showed them this Ralph Lauren collection that was in partnership with Historically Black Colleges in America,” he says. “I love those pieces, they’re so preppy and so Black. But then they asked what else, because they’d been thinking about lots of outfits, almost a different one each week. Which is new! I love it. The Doctor has travelled all of time and space; they’re going to have a sick wardrobe.”
Not that previous Doctors were badly dressed, mind. “I love Jon Pertwee, the Third Doctor’s, outfits. Lovely velvet jackets and frilly shirts. I feel a connection to him, our Doctors are the only two who dress like sluts,” he laughs.
The idea of multiple outfits has led to a fun press cycle where Twitter is regularly treated to a photoshoot of the Doctor and his companion in a completely new style each time. The most notable of these was a Swinging Sixties look, with Gatwa sporting a blue striped suit and an Afro. “The hair and makeup department have been incredible,” he exclaims. “Claire Williams and my own makeup artist, Bella, who is an old friend, worked so well together in creating my looks. Originally, we weren’t going to have the Afro, but Bella convinced me and I’m very glad she did. It’s such a shot into the bloodstream. It’s a statement — the Doctor is fucking Black.”

I just watched the Wonka movie today since it premiered on Max for me and I have to say. . .it's a fricken masterpiece and for me to have a wonka oc there was alot of scenes that deserve to have Clara Spice shine in the spotlight. I mean if she was actually in the movie she would be iconic, I think she would just be there at moments where noodle isn't there or with her at moments in the movie. I also think with slugworthxs plan to shut down willy wonka is to also kidnap Clara making her a Damsel in distress situation without wonka noticing so they can get her off Mrs Scrubbit's back as a young mechanic. I hope someday I'll write a fic about Clara Spice in the events of the wonka movie because I think she definitely deserves to be an actual character in the story but idk the movie was amazing and I feel inspired to include Clara in a fan fiction someday

jen, i've been trying to think of something super unhinged for nice ask week and i haven't been able to think of anything. so here's my shit excuse for nice ask week and sorry that you might have to look some of these up. please rank these fictional vampires in order from least want to befriend to most want to befriend AND ALSO from not-est to hottest (others opinions are welcome - this is MY ask, MY rules - just kidding pls post this jen, i worked so hard on it):
1. count dracula, dracula (specifically, the 1992 adaptation of the novel in which gary oldman - admittedly, my older gentleman crush - plays dracula)
Tumblr media
2. stefan salvatore, the vampire diaries
Tumblr media
3. damon salvatore, the vampire diaries (had to ask for both brothers, come on)
Tumblr media
4. laurent, twilight (u know i think he is a lil something something)
Tumblr media
5. daddy cullen i mean carlisle cullen, twilight
Tumblr media
6. dakota fanning looking extremely slay, twilight
Tumblr media
7. spike, buffy the vampire slayer
Tumblr media
8. count von count, seasame street
Tumblr media
9. eric northman, true blood
Tumblr media
10. bella swan, vampiric edition, twilight
Tumblr media
11. blade, blade
Tumblr media
12. me.
THANK YOU FOR COMING
hello, lola. first let me start by saying here is a different vampire ranking without a definition of best, just vibes (you create one vampire au and suddenly this is your whole life). I am not rereading it though, so no promises that I'm not about to contradict myself
I appreciate how hard you worked on asking this, so I hope you appreciate how hard I worked on answering it
Least want to befriend to most want to befriend:
damon - he seems like a walking red flag, he really does
2. dakota fanning - I respect a girlboss but I do think she would kill me after one wrong move. would constantly have a tummy ache, stressed to the max.
3. spike - I have never seen buffy, but google tells me he was a villain. have to play it safe here
4. bella - I'm so sorry bella but I think you would annoy me
5. blade - I really tried looking him up to give an honest friend ranking, but there were so many version?? is it a comic? a movie? a tv show? idk I got confused therefore he defaults to the middle of the list
6. laurent - one of the nicer members of his little posse (unlike that bitch james). might try to kill me but a good sob story would probably get me out of it
7. count dracula - i just read his backstory. that's so tragic, I think he could use a friend
8. carlisle - turning a bunch of teenagers into vampires when they were on their death bed is a little odd, but he had good intentions. and now look at the house he provides for them like I'll move in no questions asked
9. stefan - admittedly have only seen a few seasons of tvd, but he seems to have some kind of morals so that's always a good place to start for a friendship
10. eric - "calculating yet loyal and generally willing to absolve those that aggravate him, unless they have grievously crossed him. However, he is fiercely vindictive towards anyone who harms or threatens those he loves". thank you, trueblood.fandom.com. If I'm befriending all of these vampires, making him a top priority seems like a good choice
11. count von count - he has a cat. I'm using him and abusing our friendship for that. sorry count
12. lola - who shouldn't (?) be on this list (unless you have a secret to tell)
okay hotness below the cut because this is already too long
Least hot to most hot
1. dakota fanning (jane) - default to last because she is a child lmao
2. count von count - he is a cartoon (puppet? I don't know). I feel like there is only one right answer here and it is to put him in the second least hot position (unless that's your thing. you do you)
3. damon - this man creeps me out. I don't know if it's the eyes or what but again, bad vibes. stay away from her (elena), old man!
4. count dracula - willy wonka looking vampire. sorry to your older gentleman crush. you can keep him
5. eric northman - I do not know this man but he is giving 'just some guy' with a little bit of finance bro
6. bella - one too many awkward smiles while tucks her hair behind her ear moments, you know?
7. spike - cheek bones are cheek boning. some may say too much though. hair is giving 90s boy band. although for his time I can excuse it
8. carlisle cullen - not the biggest dilf in twilight, but an important one
9. laurent - unfortunate that you didn't pick the picture where he rolls up with his jacket undone and no shirt underneath. what an entrance. he also gets hotness points because laurent is a very good vampire name
10. stefan salvatore - the objectively better brother based on my limited knowledge. good picture. love a henley moment. look at those forearms.
11. blade - I don't know this man, but I would like to.
*you can't be ranked on the hotness scale because you did not provide a picture. sorry ;)

Mission Statement and First Post for Unwrapping the Wonka Bar Vol. 1 - Where is Charlie’s Town Located? Part 1
The beloved 2005 film, Tim Burton’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, turns 18 years old this July, and with such a long history the film has amassed a massive fan following over the years. In fact, the film is so old that many of the fans who watched the film as kids are now parents themselves and will be showing the film to their kids in just a few years, if not right now. And even more existentially frightening for all you Late Millennials and Gen Zers reading this post is the fact that the five lucky kids cast as the Golden Ticket winners are, as of the moment of publication, 29 and 30 years old. I will give you some time to come to terms with this realization for it is a hard pill to swallow for many.
But when it comes to such a storied legacy, it only makes sense that fans of this film might have many questions about the story rattling around in their minds, but with such a long time between when the film first premiered to the present, have no one to offer up a thoughtful response. Well, if this sounds like you, it is my pleasure to announce today, February 1st, the same day in which Charlie Bucket and the rest of the Golden Ticket winners set foot inside Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, the first installment of a new series which asks the questions Charlie and the Chocolate Factory fans have asked for over a decade and a half and offers up a response backed with unbelievably detailed amounts of analysis that no children’s movie should ever lead to; Unwrapping the Wonka Bar. To all who come across this post, we here at Real-LCA-blog hope to provide an entertaining, inviting, interactive and sometimes overly obsessive experience for all Charlie and the Chocolate Factory fans and we hope you join us and enjoy the ride! Perhaps we’ll change how you view our beloved film or perhaps you’ll entirely disagree with our assessment, either way we’d love to hear your thoughts, so feel free to respond to our posts and leave your thoughts in the comments. And so, without further ado, I present to you all, the first installment in our series:
Where is Charlie’s Town Located? Part 1
One of the biggest questions fans of Tim Burton’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory have been wrestling with since 2005 has been where in the world does Charlie live? Where is Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory located? Every other location in the film is literally spelled out for the audience, with a subtitle of the location accompanied with a sound effect of the text being digitally generated showing up whenever we are introduced to a location not Charlie’s town or the final location of Dr. Wilbur Wonka’s home. Now, to obsessive movie detail fans, this might seem like a glaring plot hole the creators left unanswered, but if you do what obsessive movie detail fans do best and overanalyze every piece of media related to the film in question, you will uncover that this was by design.
According to the behind-the-scenes extra Designer Chocolate, included on the physical media release of the film, the Director, Tim Burton says of the location of Charlie’s town:
“It’s descriptive, but then it still allows you to interpret it. I always thought that that was quite interesting and that was something that we’d try to retain. We just sort of set it in its own city and not really describe where it really is.”
And on top of not giving the audience a real-world location of Charlie’s town, Burton then goes on to imply that the film takes place in a fictional country, stating:
“It has both an American sensibility and a British sensibility. It’s interesting cause you don’t really know where it takes place, and that gives it it’s kind of fable-like quality.”
Well, there you have it folks, the short and easy answer to this question seems to be that Charlie’s town is set in a fictional location that fans could not one-day travel to in the real world.
But, let’s be honest now, where’s the fun in saying that? What kind of inaugural Unwrapping the Wonka Bar post would this be if the answer was revealed in less than 500 words? That sets a terrible precedent and it does not accurately represent what this series is about. We here at Real-LCA-blog take too much pride in our obsessive breakdown and analysis of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to leave you wonderful readers feeling so unfulfilled. But what else is there to say, the director himself told us that Charlie’s town is not supposed to be a real place…but is that accurate?
Well, yes, Burton told us the town is completely made-up, “fable-like” were his exact words. Yet, if you extend that action, analyzing his exact words some more, a glimmer of hope for a much more interesting answer begins to manifest. When he spoke about translating what the original book has to say about Charlie’s town, Tim Burton said it was “something that we’d try to retain,” with the key word being “try.” “Try” means that there is implied success or there is implied failure, and fortunately for us, I am here to make the case that there is a chance that Tim Burton and the rest of the crew who worked on this film we love so much failed to capture a neutral setting for Charlie’s town. Additionally, if we stay on the overanalyzing Burton’s own words train for a while longer, we see in his follow up statement that he says Charlie’s town was “set it in its own city” while not describing “where it really is.” Does this mean that there is an actual location in mind, but said location is being occulted in order to tell the story in a certain manner? Who knows? Was his statement a slip of the tongue? Perhaps. A poor choice of words that does not accurately capture the message he hopes to convey? Perhaps as well. Is this overanalyzation of a couple of words uttered by a man famous for his social awkwardness, and thus can oftentimes words his responses to things in a less than clear fashion? You betcha! But hey, if you’ve read this far, then there’s a good chance you think there’s something to my theory that Charlie’s town does have a real-world location. Yet, before we can uncover where Charlie’s town is located, we have to dispense with the theory of the case that Tim Burton presents as key to understanding the nature of where Charlie’s town is located, and that is the notion that the town “has both an American sensibility and a British sensibility.”
That’s it for Part 1, click here for Part 2 where we examine Roald Dahl’s work and how it can deliver insight into the making of the 2005 film.

Tumblr is so cool what do you mean I can put my emotions here, spin it into fancy poetry or fan fiction, and not be brought to the guillotine?? wdym i can just... spill my heart out? that one thought that gave me a lump in my throat can rest here without consequences because it's not vile just overly heartwarming? I'd say praise the Lord but due to Catholic guilt i will not be doing that
anyways "pure imagination" from Willy Wonka will be the end of me, any songs and lofi remixes from quarantine is going with me in my grave, im taking it with me to the afterlife which may or may not exist, again, Catholic guilt

Maybe You Can Show Me How
a cute quick Drabble I used as a warm up to write my first request 👀 if anyone else wants to send a request, feel free. Can not guarantee it will be written quickly lol
I watched CATCF again, well more like had it as background noise but I decided to write my interpretation of what I think happened between Willy reuniting with his father and having dinner with the Bucket family. This is NOT a ship. This is purely platonic.
Tumblr media
When Charlie had suggested he go with him to visit his father, he was blinded by the excitement of gaining a little bit of Charlie’s trust back. It wasn’t until they were halfway to his childhood home/father’s office that realization fully set in and his anxiety began to rise.
It took about 30 minutes before Willy and Charlie were out the door and back inside the glass elevator. Charlie had waited patiently, busying himself with looking at old newspaper clippings of the man he looked up to, giving the two men privacy to catch up and hopefully end up on better terms. Both the men weren’t exactly skilled on how to be social and there was so much they both wanted to say that most of it never even got spoken. But they ended up slightly better than before, and that’s good enough for the both of them until they both decide to talk again.
One thing Willy could say for certain is that he felt much lighter and better emotionally now knowing that his father still loved and cared for him very much. On the journey back to town, Willy turned to Charlie and once again asked him:
“Now will you come live with me in the factory and learn all the secrets to make the best candy the world has ever tasted?”
Charlie looked up at the man and smiled slightly. “Only on one condition.” He started but was quickly interrupted.
“Charlie, you can bring that old rickety shack you live in, and if your family happens to be inside it…I won’t complain.” Willy playfully replied.
Charlie gave him a big grin.
And that’s exactly what they did.

(WARNING for mentions of blood, cannibalism, and death.)
I found a website that allows you to put in a prompt and A.I. will most likely write a short story or fan fiction about it. (Sometimes it would refuse to write it.) Here are some of the things I (tried to) put in it:
• Willy Wonka gets into a fight at Texas Roadhouse.
• Mike, Violet, and Veruca see Wonka have a seizure and panic because they don't know what to do about it.
• Wonka forgets to remove Augustus's body from the chocolate river and accidentally bakes his remains into a chocolate cake and eats it.
• Wonka, Mike, Violet, and Veruca watch as Augustus dies of a heart attack.
• Willy Wonka gets arrested at a Taylor Swift concert.
• Willy Wonka decides to go to McDonald's for a Big Mac. He accidentally lands the Great Glass Elevator on Ronald McDonald and kills him.
• It's Mike, Violet, and Veruca's first day of school. They get on the bus and are surprised to find that Wonka is their bus driver. Everything was going fine that morning until Wonka runs a red light and accidentally hits Augustus.
• Willy Wonka gets carjacked but he knows jujitsu.
• Wonka is having dinner at a big fancy party he threw in celebration of a fantastic new candy he's created. He is sitting at a table with Mike, Violet, and Veruca when he's given a mysterious drink. He tastes it and it tastes like shrimp. He is severely allergic to shrimp.
• Wonka is driving Mike, Violet, and Veruca to school when they get into a terrible car accident.
• Mike, Violet, and Veruca are sitting in class at their school. Their normal teacher is sick and so Wonka has to be the substitute, but he has no idea what he's doing.
• Mike, Violet, and Veruca are helping Wonka prepare dinner. Wonka accidentally cuts his hand with a large knife. The kids are panicking because he's bleeding all over the kitchen and he's on the verge of passing out from the sight of his own blood.
• Mike, Violet, Veruca and Augustus are stranded out at sea. They fell off of Wonka's boat after standing too close to the edge even after he asked them not to. They've been lost for days. They're scared, tired, and hungry. They decided to sacrifice Augustus and use him for food. Time is running out, they're losing hope, and they're almost out of Augustus. Will Wonka be able to find them soon? Or is it already too late for them?
• Mike decides to throw a rave. Everyone at the rave is having a good time until two of the large and heavy lights fall from the ceiling. One light hits Wonka. Violet and Veruca run to check on him. He's broken and fractured several bones and is in a lot of pain. Mike and Charlie check on Augustus. Augustus is dead. A few days later, Charlie takes on the responsibility of running the factory while Wonka recovers. The other three kids keep him company until he gets well again.
• Mike, Violet, and Veruca get trapped in the chocolate room during an emergency lockdown.
• Violet arrives at school one morning to hear her teacher announce that two new students will be joining their class: Mike and Veruca. Violet was shocked to say the least. But she had a job to do. She has to teach them how to survive in this school. Mike had never moved to a different school before, and Veruca had never been to an american school. But this school was special; and not necessarily in a good way. It had strange rules and very unusual methods. There were only three types of people in this place: the cruel, the weird, and the creepy. No one is safe. Only Violet can be trusted. The three of them are stuck here for 7 months until the summer. Let's just hope they can make it out alive...
• After a tragic accident at the toothpaste factory that lead to Noah Buckets death, Willy Wonka has been offering all the comfort and support to his family that he could. Especially to Noah's wife, Hellen, who was hurting the most. But things take an unexpected turn when Hellen and Wonka slowly start to realize that they've fallen in love with each other. They have to keep this a secret. They absolutely must! If anyone finds out, it could tear apart the whole family. Hellen imagined the confusion in the eyes of her parents, the fury in the eyes of her in-laws, and the hurt and betrayal in the eyes of her beloved son, Charlie. But no need to worry! Everything will be fine as long as NO ONE finds out. And no one will find out. Right..?
• Mike, Violet, and Veruca decided to go exploring the factory. Wonka told them it was okay as long as they never ever go to the forbidden room. They go there anyway. What they found horrified them more than anyone could possibly imagine.
• Mike, Violet, and Veruca are tasked with filming a commercial for a new candy. Wonka is extra busy that day, so he allows his niece, Coco, to help them with it. Unfortunately, the three ticket winners are not getting along that day. They fight and argue while the commercial is being filmed, but Coco decides to release it anyway because they still say the name and show the picture of the product. Once the chaotic commercial is released, it gets a lot of attention from the public.
• Willy Wonka is working on a new kind of candy in the inventing room when his daughter, Coco, comes to asks him a question. She asks him why he had the golden ticket contest instead of allowing her to take over the factory. The answer she received wasn't what she expected.
• Wonka is actually sitting in the chair during the puppet show at the begining of the factory tour. The fireworks go off and set him on fire. He flails around and screams until his lifeless body falls off the stage in front of the kids as his corpse continues to burn.

I really like the concept of fairy tales having crossovers/being in the same universe ever since I watched Once Upon a Time and that show was good (we don’t talk about the last season) but there so much stuff in it where I was like “I could do that better” so I’ve been wanting to do a story like this for a bit but never expected to do it in the dnd world. It’s not just fairy tales too it’s other works like The Wizard of Oz, Jekyll and Hyde, Alice in Wonderland, even though it isn’t public domain yet I’ve thought about doing a character based on Willy Wonka. Video games too, the central plot is based on the Assassins vs Templars from the Assassin’s Creed series, my Tav also takes inspiration from many of the protagonists of Assassin’s Creed, and one of the characters in The Wizard of Oz arc is based on Kratos from God of War. It’s also really funny that this all came about because I made some siblings for my Tav’s backstory lmao.
Sometimes the most beautiful things come from the most random of coincidences. I say go for it and embrace it!
You're passionate about this, you see it in a way when others would gloss over it.
The most best of stories are inspired by stories inspired by stories inspired by other stories. Every single tale told was because someone has read or seen something similar that sparked an idea, fanned an amber and ignited a flame.
I love the assassin's creed series! The only reason I looked more into Leonardo Da vinci was because of the second game, even tho i had known him before it. Nothing made me love him more than that fictional depiction of him and the ingame index mentioning how he was gay. In such an old game having an openly gay character? I was fucking stunned and immediately started looking into the irl Leonardo history.
What's so beautiful about Assassin's creed is how accurate their games are with history! How they legit teach you things. Also it is a funny coincidence that Shay is one of your favs, you mentioned it a long while ago, because I'd literally die for Haitham like you don't understand gimme that old man to protect.

Looking Ahead to 2023
With the new year finally here, I thought this would be a good time to list the films I am most excited about coming to theaters in 2023. So I present the films I am most excited about coming out this year (in alphabetical order):
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
The first of three Marvel Studios films coming in 2023 (and the first in Phase Five of the MCU) features Ant-Man and the Wasp going up against Johnathan Majors’ Kang in the Quantum Realm.
Asteroid City
Wes Anderson’s new film, again featuring an impressive ensemble, hits theaters in June. Anderson also has an adaptation of a Roald Dahl short story, The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar hitting Netflix this fall. A banner year all around for West Anderson fans.
Creed III
Following in Stallone and Rocky’s footsteps, Michael B. Jordan will be making his directorial debut with the third Creed film set for release in March.
Dune: Part Two
Return to Arrakis with director Denis Villeneuve for this adaptation of the second half of Frank Herbert’s Dune.
Fast X
The tenth (and maybe penultimate?) film in the Fast & Furious Saga is coming this summer and features the additions of Jason Momoa and Brie Larson.
The Flash
Three DC movies are coming in 2023, the most interesting one, in my opinion, is The Flash from director Andy Muschietti which features the return of Michael Keaton as Batman - returning to the role after more than thirty years.
A Haunting in Venice
Kenneth Branagh returns as Hercule Poirot (and director) in his newest Agatha Christie adaptation.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
James Mangold directs Harrison Ford in his fifth and final Indiana Jones film. This is hands down the movie I am most excited about in 2023.
John Wick: Chapter 4
Keanu Reeves is back as John Wick for this fourth installment. What else is there to say?
Killers of the Flower Moon
Martin Scorsese reteams with Leonardo DiCaprio in this adaptation of a non-fiction book of the same name about a series of murders in 1920s Oklahoma.
Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One
Ethan Hunt is back for his seventh impossible mission, and the third directed by Christopher McQuarrie. This post will self-destruct in five seconds, so read faster. Dead Reckoning Part Two is coming in 2024.
Oppenheimer
Christopher Nolan turns his lens to the origins of the Atomic Bomb in this biopic starring Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was the breakout hit of 2018, and now the sequel is on its way.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie
The Mario Bros. are back on the big screen in this computed animated adventure comedy from Illumination. Mushroom Kingdom here we come.
Wonka
Timothee Chalamet is a young Willy Wonka in this fantasy musical from Paddington’s Paul King.
Honorable Mention (films not mentioned above): Shazam! Fury of the Gods, 65, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Renfield, Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3, The Little Mermaid, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Elemental, Barbie, The Marvels, Haunted Mansion, Gran Turismo, Blue Beetle, Next Goal Wins, Kraven the Hunter, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Wish, the Untitled Ghosterbusters Afterlife Sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and Ferrari.
Now for a quick look ahead to 2024, my top picks for that year are Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part Two, Furiosa, Avatar 3, and any of the above-mentioned films that get bumped to 2024.
Looking back at the 12 films on my Looking Ahead to 2022 list from last year: I saw eight in theaters, three were bumped to 2023 and are included above, and one that I still haven’t gotten around to seeing (sorry The Black Phone).
