Hours ago, I just saw "Wonka". When I saw the trailers for it, it made me think this movie would combine elements from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and Tim Burton's 2005 retelling. My prediction seemed to have come true, since I did see callbacks to the original 1971 film, such as its use of "Pure Imagination" and the "Oompa-Loompa" song. Timothée Chalamet may be the best Willy Wonka next to Johnny Depp. Timothée has the eccentric nature Johnny's Willy Wonka has, while also having some of the same qualities as Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka.

Willy Wonka is another character that I admire a lot, I love how despite carrying such a hard past, he is very creative, kind, funny and above all he still retains his inner child.

I also love Gene Wilder's version, and I loved his song Pure Imagination. and I think both versions of the character are cute and beautiful.

(Of course, this is just my opinion and everyone is free to think what they want

A little question

Hi there yall! My first post here lmao but I got this idea a while ago and now Ive decided to ask if I should start making it true & post it here.

So. I sometimes imagine what it would be like if Johnny Depps characters interacted with each other. It most likely would be complete chaos but definitely hilarious as hell. Like think about Jack, Gellert and Willy for an example and what would happen if they were hanging out lol. My idea is that Id make a series out of that! I would draw little scenarios between characters and post em. It would also include a character of my own who is taking care of them and making sure they dont destroy everything ya know? 😂

In a nutshell my character takes care of some Johnny Depps characters as they suddenly appear in her house one day. And as that goes on Ill make some incredibly random every day scenarios between them. Very simple! (I hope 😭)… I might also take requests! You request this and that character doing something you wanna see, I imagine how it all could work and then make it happen! I honestly really wanted to write the scenarios at first but Im not the best of writers so why not do it in the form or art eh? 🤷‍♀️

So what do yall think? Should I start this chaos aka “In the Depp house” series? 😂

Also spoiler alert, I have only watched SOME of Johnny Depps movies so my bad if I dont mention or include a character 💀

Você se vira e anda em direção a um garoto que está olhando fixamente para a famosa fábrica de chocolate. Este é seu irmão, Charlie.

Ao se aproximar, você acaba, também, contemplando todo o esplendor da fábrica. Se perguntando se todo o espaço é reservado para a produção de chocolate. Parece um pensamento improvável, já que o próprio dono mora nela.

-Eu nunca vi ninguém sair de lá de dentro.- sussurra o garoto.

-Isso é porque ninguém trabalha lá.- você explica, em um tom levemente mais alto que o dele. Já está tarde e a rua está praticamente desértica. Não há necessidade de aumentar o tom de voz.

-Como não?- ele pergunta confuso.

-Vovô Joe nunca lhe contou essa história?

Ele balança a cabeça negativamente. Você suspira.

-Bem, então você tem uma bela história lhe esperando em casa. Ele ama falar sobre a fábrica.

Você estende sua mão para que ele possa pegar.

-Venha. Vamos voltar.

Charlie segura sua mão sem hesitação e vocês começam a andar na mesma direção que vocês pegam todo dia para voltar para casa.

Mesmas ruas, mesmos prédios, mesmos postes, tudo exatamente igual ao dia anterior. Tudo, menos um homem de cartola e óculos de sol redondos sentado num banco da praça lendo um jornal. Está muito escuro para se ver qualquer outra caracteristica.

A visão com certeza causa uma estranheza. Já é bem tarde, por qual motivo ele estaria fora de casa a esta hora? Por que estaria usando óculos de sol quando já é quase meia-noite?

Você não sabe a resposta para essas perguntas e, honestamente, não gostaria de saber. Então, você continua o caminho para sua casa, com a imagem do homem de cartola e óculos de sol nuca saindo completamente de sua cabeça.

I've read many fanfics that go like "Charlie goes to the chocolate factory but brings his older (usually female) relative with him instead of Grandpa Joe. After the factory, she and Willy Wonka fall in love and they (live happily ever after.)"

That got me thinking "Why hasn't anyone written that story but with a different family?" I did see someone start to do just that, but Charlie and Joe were still heavily involved in the story. What's the point of using a different family if you're still gonna have the Buckets be a main part of the story? Just imagine the difference. Wonka is in love with this person, but he can't stand the child in the family. And the child's parents don't like or trust him and disapprove if his relationship with the other relative. It could be really good for conflict and character development. It'd be way more interesting than how the Buckets always like him right away.

So that's what I'm gonna attempt to do. A cheesy (or should I say chocolatey) Wonka love story but without the Buckets. Honestly, I'm just tired of reading about Charlie all the time. Let's give one of the other kids a chance.

So I'm currently working on two OCs, and I've got some ideas for what kinds of stories I might want to use them in. I even plan on writing a couple stories with BOTH of them in it. I wrote some notes for their characters. I'm still working on them, so I might add/change/remove some things. Here are some of the notes:
