Alright, everyone. Here’s the prompt comp.

Prompts:

1.       “Since I got us into this mess, it’s only fair I get us out of it.”

2.       “I wish I could make you understand what you really mean to me.”

3.       A telepath on a trade planet gives a member of the crew a very important glimpse of the future.

4.       "Everything you think you know, is wrong."

5.       Kathryn or Chakotay start hearing noises that no one else seems to be able to hear.

6.       Some or all of the crew’s memories are wiped/suppressed/removed.

7.       “Why didn’t you kiss me?”

8.       An EVA goes disastrously wrong.

9.       He couldn’t stop imagining her lifeless body laying in the pouring rain. Though the incident had been years ago, it still haunted him.

10.   “For your sake and mine, please tell him how you feel”

11.   The Delta Flyer crashes in a starship graveyard.

12.   “What makes you think we can trust them?”

13.   So, the grumpy warrior ended up with the Borg pet... Not even I saw that one coming.

14.   The new ‘all the rage’ holodeck program malfunctions.

15.   Voyager is on the line and their only choice is for Kathryn to sacrifice herself – unless someone can come up with a better idea.

16.   “Just… just don’t forget me. That’s all I can ask.”

17.   Chakotay attempts to prevent the crew from interrupting the Captain's day off (or day of well-deserved rest) but it doesn't exactly go according to plan.

18.   “Why don’t you let me take the helm for a while?”

19.   “To be honest, Commander, I probably never would have found the abnormality were we still on Voyager...”

20.   "I'm just so glad you're home, Katie." I wish I could say the same.

J/C Image Fic Fest 2021

It's that time of year again! Time for the Janeway/Chakotay photo prompt fest. This year we are using only manips by the fantastic artist Tachyon. Message me for the link to the Google Doc that contains the images. The link will only be shared during the fest.

You can choose one or more images, and you can write one or more stories. (I'm flexible. :))

Stories are due to be posted in July, and A03 Collection info will be posted before July 1st. Post wherever you are comfortable posting, then tag @worthagrand or @bizships so that I can see it and repost it.

If interested, PM me for the Doc link, then once you've chosen your image(s), just let me know which one(s) you want to use and what date in July you wish to post your story. You may absolutely write more than one story for one or more images and post them on separate days. You may post a WIP (Try to make sure it will be completed)

Please make sure that if you post the image chosen with the story, you credit Tachyon for the artwork.

It’s (almost) officially here!! Tomorrow starts our annual ‘25 Days of Voyager’ and I could not be more excited! Thank you to everyone that has signed up! If you still wish to do so, it’s not too late! Shoot me a PM and I will get out on the schedule.

So what do you think, J/C fans? I’ve got an unknown but definitely limited amount of time to work with. While I’m still feeling good and up to the challenge, should I try to finish all my works in progress, write new material, or a bit of both?

And if I go back to the WIPs, which one should I start with? Which one is most in need of finishing, in your hearts and minds? I’ve got notes for all of them. And while I had good reasons at the time for abandoning them, I can’t bear the thought of leaving this life with all that unfinished business out there.

So where do I start? All opinions welcome.

J/C Relaunch Fic: “Found”

In an unforeseen twist of events I have written my first Janeway/Chakotay fic since exactly 365 days ago, when I posted my last contribution to @25daysofvoyager

I can’t thank my dear @ariella884 enough for giving me a reason to get back to my eternal OTP. Although “to Lose the earth” did help a bit as well. ;)  I hope you like the part of your Christmas gift that isn’t stuck on a boat across the Atlantic. ;)

There’s tropes, and then there’s JC Tropes! All of the Turbolift fic, all of the New Earth fic. We’ve read a million of them and ya know what? There’s room for a million more! Let’s write more!
