I was inspired to create this piece after becoming emotionally invested in this HotD fanfic by @xxpeppermintxx109 called “Green Lies, Black Hearts”

Aight, at my current drawing level, this my rendition of Shaera Velaryon. I love my sunshine child so much, she doesn't deserve the shit she's been through recently. I'll fight anyone who says mean things about her.

@xxpeppermintxx109, I'm adopting Shaera. You'll be receiving adoption papers soon.

If ya'll got tips or teaching sources I can look at to improve I'd love suggestions. Maybe I'll digitalize this to make it better, but traditional drawing is my current focus.

I wish there was more variety pairings in the fandom🥲.. only so many times I can read about the fictional daughter of Rhaenyra and Harwin or Daemon with Aemond and the same plot line… after reading Rhaena x Aemond ( @arcielee and @delcatty have good ones!)or even Baela x Aegon(I know I know I hated it to but after reading it, it’s so toxic and I love it!), I realize how much is missing and how good it goes together! It’s so exciting cause they actually have canon history and perfect enemies to lovers or grumpy sunshine or natural dom sub vibes. Shit I even read some Jace x Baela x Cregan that was really good ( @xxpeppermintxx109 ) or even some Jace x OC x Aemond ( @lightningandfireinmybones has a good one). Shit, even a Nettles x Daemon variety could be fun ( @richardsthirdnipple does them). Perhaps,sigh next season.

(I wish my writing abilities hadn’t left me I’d do it myself tho I know it wouldn’t be popular enough to be read)

I really couldn't help falling for "Green lies black hearts" on AO3. People, go check it, go read it, like, immediately. I must say I was thinking doing several posts, each of them with long quotes from the chapters and two GIFs. But I felt it wouldn't be fair to the writer. So here it is, a bunch of various GIFs to thank you @xxpeppermintxx109 dearly, for your story.

Cause when you start to think of whatever may be of the characters, what they think, how they probably act, you know you're reading good, really good material.

what are ur fave aemond fanfics or just hotd/got fanfics in general? i can’t find any atm and i’m in such a reading slump!!

oof! tbh I think partially because I've written a lot for aemond x oc that I haven't been able to read as many of those as I'd like - also bc I like to keep storylines separate lmao.

there's of course the fandom classic our violent delights by bikadoo. also green lies, black hearts by @xxpeppermintxx109 is super good if you're looking for aemond fics.

in terms of other hotd fics I am a rhaenicent shipper through and through so anything by molterwrites on ao3 is phenomenal or thedevil'sgarden as well!. also barbiewrites and cordeliacordate are amazing, especially the former's "oh and I wonder" fic, which features a lot of aemond's pov.

and burning jasmine by scalyfreaks is also great!

@xxpeppermintxx109 thinking about an alternate universe where viserys iii and his nephew daemon grow up together as brothers and serve absolute cunt in King's landing. They promise to not repeat the mistakes of the previous viserys and daemon -- meaning that daemon promises his uncle the postion of hand once he becomes king. Just as viserys the first should have done with his own brother.
