8) “I gave up on you a long time ago! There is no fixing a man as vile as you!” She screamed as she dashed out the doorway in tears

9) “Hold on, I still need you,” He flung himself around her arm, Was she really leaving him after all the promises they made?

10) “You- you said we would keep trying! Please don’t leave me again,” She fell onto her knees

11) “Your eyes can be so cruel..” She looked into his eyes, he had no sympathy, they were cold and dead. Could he really care less about her? Was she nothing to him?

Can you tell me all about your favorite blorbo, LU or otherwise? Why do you love them? I have a guess, but maybe I’m wrong, and the WHY is the best part.

WILD BEST BLORBO, as I'm sure anyone that has even glanced at my stuff could guess that.

I've already said it on here, but in the context of my own story, I love the struggle of him trying to figure out who he is, wanting independence and wanting someone to watch out for him (ie. Twilight), how much of his past defines him, how much of his future is actually his own to decide, y'know that sort of coming-of-age story and all that jazz with a spritz of Fate and a slight sprinkle of Hylia is a mean mfer.

The why? Gah I'm trying to figure out how to answer this in a way that doesn't spoil all of BDOR. But basically, I find it really fun and challenging--and also quite self-reflective, cuz y'know therapy isn't free but fanfiction sure is--to write like five emotionally stunted beings in a trench coat resembling one semi-functioning edgelord of a human without A) also making it SUPER obvious that I am doing so, at least for arc 1 and B) not coming off as "inconsistent characterization," at least so much so that people stop reading XD

So now my question to you, dear SkipBreaker, is the same--who is your favorite blorbo (I think I know who lol, at least for LU but you don't have to answer that way) and why?

// There has been a lot of anti-kabuto comments and stuff on the kabuto tag. And as a Kabuto roleplayer, what really upsets me the most is that the hate is not for even good reasons. From what I see, it’s equal to that of a kid’s grade school where you are bullied for your boring or unusual appearance and for shallow reasons. 

Like they’re legit hating him for wearing glasses, and not being as charismatic and cool as Orochimaru.  But out of the two, one is that there’s no control over his genetics of wearing glasses.  But charisma is something that can be learned, 

I don’t think people really understand that Kabuto himself is what you put in him, he reflects who he works for, he is told to act and behave according to the mission, and because he has a barely sense of self.  Any kind of improvements will always come off as awkward and not as impressive as his peers.  And because he has literally spied on the ENTIRE 5 NATIONS, he also has taken on so many identities and personalities that he had almost lost himself several times.  The perfect example would be that movie Spirited Away where a little girl named Chihiro almost lost her name after being called “Sin” for merely a few days.  Kabuto has been doing that FOR YEARS since he was a child and still managed to remember and keep his name!

And as for his backstory, while of course it doesn’t excuse that he should’ve been thrown in prison for the crimes he did. In the end, he was still a victim who was manipulated during his worst moments of his life and it’s seems intentional on Orochimaru’s part and it doesn’t seem to show that he’s apologetic about it. More like he’s “proud” that Kabuto has found his true self and that he’s not needed anymore despite the fact that HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING KABUTO LIKE THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE!

 A twisted version of a friend being proud of their friend for getting better.  

Kabuto has ALWAYS been a good, hospitable, and kind person deep down. But again, because of the world they live in. He absolutely can’t let his emotions get in the way of the cruel world of Naruto.  The reasons why he’s a bully in the first place is because he was envious of people with kekki genkai and other special people who make a name for themselves.  And that shit is relatable to everyone who is lacking in something in their life! (Have you ever been envious of someone who was rich/popular/had a good family/married to a great person/happy? And don’t lie to yourself. ) 

As for being a hypocrite? Do you know who’s the BIGGEST HYPOCRITE was?

They had the nerve to say that there are some things that having powers or abilities cannot change. And while it was sweet that Itachi wanted to help him see his worth, but it really doesn’t sound good coming from a gifted person like him. Since Itachi has absolute NO IDEA how Kabuto feels as Itachi carried on and USED his name and kekki genkai to solve his problems.

Imagine a rich and popular person telling you that you are good as you are and that there are things that money can’t buy and to be happy with what you have. But everyone knows damn well that having money and a good family name and reputation would improve and help you and your family and friends in more ways that the rich person doesn’t seem to understand or even thought about.  

 And last but certainly not least. Kabuto’s not “hot”? I can assume that whoever thinks that probably is the type to focus on the appearance. Kabuto’s appearance is simple and normal. Not this fantasy beautiful unreachable God that many of the fans often love to write fanfiction and fantasize about.   Kabuto literally looks like your neighbor that you could actually marry and have a happy normal life!  He’s not beautiful or outrageous looking because if he was too beautiful or loud, he wouldn’t be doing a good job as a spy as a spy is SUPPOSED to fit in and not stand out too much.  A fact that the Naruto series tends to ignore despite it being a show about NINJAS!    But yes, keep humping your Itachi and Madara body pillows. Especially when one has cancer, and is a chronic liar and the other is a sexist, abusive (obviously gay) bastard. Guess which one is which. 

Whether you read this or not, here’s the truth. 

Kabuto is perfect as his is with all of his good qualities and flaws, and he does not need you or anyone else to tell him otherwise. There’s a reason why there’s a saying, “Kings and Queens Don’t Compete and Waste Their Time With Hoes and Peasants.”  

 Also I would totally let him rail me in his sage mode form.

"Tell me something, Dionysus…" "Something". The one with winged sandals smacked him lightly on the arm. "Ouch. Fine, I hear you". "I really like to travel, I am the one who protects travelers for a reason" —he said— "but somehow, regardless of where I go, I always end up going back to Olympus". The horned god said nothing, he only opened his eyes, looking up at the sky, with his head still resting on the trunk of the tree. "It's my house, my home. My family is there." The taller one looked at him out of the corner of his eye. "The twins, my father, my stepmother, all my stepsiblings… From time to time I like to visit my mother, of course, but my stay with her is always temporary... I return once more to Olympus at the end". The other turned his head to stare at him directly in the eyes. "And, well, I suppose that you will also want to return home after everything that has happened... To you". Dionysus straightened up, letting both arms fall on his own legs. "Yes, I do want to". Hermes kept looking at his own hands, not knowing where to rest his gaze. "I… I've been a little ahead of the farewell, I know… But anyway, we'll see eachother another time, then". The one with the horns raised an eyebrow, looking at him in confusion. "Why are you looking at me like that? I mean, we will see each other again even if you return to Hades and such, but…" "To Hades? Is that what you understand by my home, Hermes?" The one with the helmet blinked several times, fixing his gaze on his companion in that moment. "That's my parents' home, not mine" —he explained.— "Of course I'll be there with them, just like you spend time with Maia". He stood up a little more, until his back rested fully on the trunk of the tree, instead of just the head. "But my home will always be Olympus. It's where you and the twins are, and I need you with me more than ever now". The shorter one smiled a little, nodding. "Yes" —he chuckled, crossing his legs.— "I admit that it reassures me to know that we are still important to you, despite everything that you have seen and heard… And felt". Dionysus narrowed his eyes for a while, then closed them completely after tilting his head back. "Staying on Olympus is the right decision to make now" —he said.— "It's what will allow me to be close to you." Hermes was startled, opening his eyes wide. "What…?" The one with horns stood up without answering. "Hey! Dionysus!" The aforementioned held out a hand. The shorter one looked at him arching an eyebrow, putting on his face an expression between annoyance and bewilderment at not being answered and not understanding what he was trying to do. "... What do you- ?" He looked up to meet his eyes. His eyes were still the same amber color as Persephone's, they hadn't changed in all that time. Dionysus still had his dark, tousled hair, falling to his shoulders. And the two horns decorating his head. "Since I set foot in this world, what has always filled me with happiness the most has been to have you between my arms, while that smile full of joy decorated your face". Hermes blinked several times while hearing him say all those words, he knew that he had heard them before. He grabbed Dionysus' hand to return the gesture, standing up quickly. And getting a surprise when the other pulled his arm to draw him towards his chest. "And if the mount where the gods dwell wasn't Olympus, I would have returned there anyway if you were a part of it". He could feel the blood pumping through Dionysus' heart. He listened to the pounding, the pounding of that heart that was once the last thing that remained of Zagreus. But Zagreus wasn't there anymore. Just Dionysus. And him.

okok so this is different than my usual sun and moon show posts but- I picked up Trials of Apollo (from the Percy Jackson series) from the library a few months ago. I enjoyed books 1, 2, 3, and 4...but I forgot to get the 5th book, so I had to wait to finish the series. I finished the series on friday, and I haven't been posting much in these past two days because I've been really fixated on ToA. (yes, I am an apollogist. Yes, I think that Apollo is a complex character that deserves more attention than he gets from the Percy Jackson series. I will die on this hill.) So...I've been thinking, I REALLY want to share my thoughts and theories with the rest of the ToA community on tumblr. But I don't want to do it here, cause ya'll followed for Sun and Moon show, not Percy Jackson. So...should I post all my Percy Jackson stuff (which will mainly be ToA, ToA is very underrated) here, or should I create a different account? Please leave your honest opinions! Also, if you're a Percy Jackson fan, and you want to leave hate on ToA, then go ahead and do it lol. I find it amusing. ToA seems to be mainly disliked/ignored by the rest of the Percy Jackson fandom (prolly because Apollo is a god and all the other books are focused on demigods, so people assume it won't be as interesting), and I find it funny when a "REAL PERCY JACKSON FAN!!1!!1!" hates on it 🤣🤣
