sorry if I wasn’t clear, but we did have stage directors and such, but we didn’t have that many people in crew as a whole because the new director is a bitch (literally the only word I could possible use to describe her.) Anyways, the guy Im talking about is basically just the opposite of what I read. His first reaction after the show was to run off the stage and up to the light booth just to hug me, pick me up and spin me around a bunch. LIKE????? I THINK ABOUT THAT DAILY Also he’s helping me a bunch because there’s this one creepy guy who keeps flirting with me and being all touchy, but school won’t do anything about him. But he agreed to walk me to all my classes, even though he doesn’t have most of his classes even near mine and he’s defending me from the creep. But also idk in general.

PoV instance: The Hideout but you're a would-be Blackwold deserter
I was having trouble writing a proper character bio post for Ealwar to introduce you all to her, so instead I got struck with a sudden bolt of motivation to write that scene that's been rattling around in my head for years and was technically the initial inspiration for her whole character! enjoy! or not, this is rather sad.
It's quiet now.
Your ears have finally stopped ringing from that horrible scream let out by the... well, what was once a Ranger. You're not sure exactly what the Northerner's made of him, but you hesitate to call him human anymore.
The muscles in you legs ache terribly from crouching in that dark corner, but you haven't dared to move an inch. It's been hours, maybe, since that elf came through and released the mad Ranger and- and... Edd and Walt tried to protect you from her.
You tried to tell them to hide with you, but they were too scared or too stupid or too brave to risk letting you be found, so they tried to fight off the elf.
But you remained hidden, even after you heard them both cut down by the elf like it was nothing. Even after you heard the elf fight her way back through the front entrance and silence once again fell over the hideout.
You didn't help them of course, useless girl that you are, and they're dead like all the others. You think your father was right about you.
Edd and Walt didn't want to die for this cause. They joined the Blackwolds for freedom, to live as their own masters, not to be drafted into the Northerner's war. They were planning to desert either tomorrow or the next day, and to take you with them. You were going to find some new path for yourselves, maybe even give honest work another shot seeing as this whole brigandry thing wasn't working out, but those hopes are all gone now.
It's just you now. Lone, cowardly, survivor.
More hours pass. You're too terrified to move. You think nothing of danger lingers here, but that's not what you're afraid of.
You know that just beyond this stack of crates you've wedged yourself behind, the corpses of your only two friends in the world lay waiting for you, skin greyed and eyes clouded and faces frozen in terror. You cannot bring yourself to look, you cannot bring yourself to move. You cry a little. Alright, you cry a lot. You quietly sob until your eyes burn and your head is pounding.
You don’t think they wanted you to die down here, even though you suppose you deserve it. You’re going to have to leave eventually, and face the grisly sight of your failure. You take a sharp breath, a vain attempt to steel yourself, before crawling out from your hiding place an struggling to shaky feet.
There they are, just as you expected to find them. Edd is face down in the pool of their mingled blood, his rusty blade still gripped tightly in his hand. You think it’s some small mercy that you cannot see his face too, for just the sight of Walt’s is almost enough to break you. As his clouded eyes stare vacancy past you, you try to remember how they looked earlier today, filled with light as he sung tales of near-forgotten heroes and grand adventurers to you and Edd by the fire, taking your minds off the darkness of the last few weeks. But you can’t remember it so well now. You think this sight will never leave your mind.
Their wounds are clean but deep. It looks like the elf killed them with ruthless efficiency, and they did not suffer long at least. You try to take some comfort in that, but you just feel sick instead.
You don’t want to leave them down here, to let their bodies be food for rats and whatever other manner of creatures find their way down from the marsh, but you are not strong enough to carry their bodies anywhere else.
Somehow you manage to find more tears to cry. Your eyes still burn. They don’t deserve this. They at least deserve a proper burial but you can’t even give them that. You take some blankets from the nearby cots and cover their lifeless bodies, the most dignity you have the means to give them in death.
Your eyes fall to Walt’s lute and Edd's drum laying there near them. The lute was damaged beyond repair in the fighting, but the drum seems to be in tact. Part of you thinks it should be left with Edd, but another part of you doesn’t want to leave it for whatever scavengers come down here to loot the bodies, so with trembling hands you pick it up and stow it in your pack.
You tell them both you are sorry. They cannot hear you, and they cannot forgive you.
You silently make your way up to the main cavernous room you used as a common area, stepping over more bodies. At least these did not belong to your friends. You think every single person in the hideout besides you is dead. It's what you thought, but seeing it first hand is... You want to get out of here. Now.
You heard the 'Ranger' screech again from the front entrance shortly after the elf left that way. You're not going back out that way. Instead you turn to your left, making for the secret exit in the back of Skunkwood's makeshift throne-room.
Speaking of Skunkwood, you find his body in the threshold, killed in the same clean way everyone else was. You can't say you feel sorry for him, you never liked the way he looked at you, but you do feel sorry for his two hounds lying dead next to him. He raised them to be vicious killers, and they were very mean dogs, but none of them deserved the treatment he put those poor beasts through.
You pick through Skunkwood's pockets and find a small bag of coins. If he had more riches from Angmar, he didn't carry it with him and you're not sticking around to look for it. This should at least be enough to put you up in a tavern for a few nights, and maybe buy some supplies.
You slip out past Skunkwood's 'throne', as usual trying to ignore the alarmingly large piles of skulls surrounding it, and climb your way up above ground. It's still technically night, but the sky is beginning to get a little lighter.
Near the entrance you find Skunkwood's mare tethered to a stump. She seems a little spooked, you guess she heard all the screeching even up here, but she's had a few hours to calm down now so she lets you approach.
She's a well-tempered horse, and lets you mount her without much convincing. You don't think she belonged to Skunkwood for very long, all his animals ended up mean or skiddish.
You cannot go back to Bree, not in what's clearly a Blackwold recruit's uniform. The guards already know you as a troublemaker, and you doubt they'll be inclined to show any lenience to any Blackwold after what happened in Archet, so you make your way south to meet up with the east road and go... somewhere else, you guess. You're glad the horse won't judge you for crying so much.

"Gojou won" eeeeehh I'm not so sure about that... I hope it's true of course but. Isn't it said by a character (Kusakabe) and not by the narrator? Should we really trust him? Sukuna is still there, alive and still conscious even, I don't know... Gege is plotting... Gojou smiling at the end, I can sense a plot twist or a *gasps* moment the next chapter as soon as it starts.

for a romhack thats supposedly about darkrai, eots is reallyyyyyyyy obsessed with chatot. it also reallyyyyyyyy hates chatot.
#we gave the game an unreliable protagonist and narrator who is meant to be kinda terrible bc this is an ‘’off’’ take on the game#meant to feel uncanny and its supposed to be uncomfortable and creepy when the guild members reject you for your behavior#but god chatot is apparently sooooooo nasty and evil and lazy and corrupt we gotta introduce a whole new guy#just to back up the hero that yep!!! hes evil incarnate and nasty!!#the hero is unreliable except for when we wanna vent abt the characters we dont like#its not even that i like chatot and want to defend him it just feels so exhausting and weird#like i thought this was about darkrai why are you spending all these scenes talking about how chatot is horrible and mean#im sorry im not over brelooms backstory. its supposed to be unfair and gross and ik he didnt exactly deserve to get evicted or anything#but seriously???? it comes across like a teen throwing a fit that his mom asked him to do the dishes for one night#and then got upset when the dishes werent done the next morning and asked their mom why she didnt just suck it up and do them#i feel like a factor here is that people forget that the apprentices arent kids. even hero and partner while implied to be young can be seen#as young adults but everyone else comes across like an adult to me. so its not like theyre exploiting babies#echoed voice#it sucks bc other than this i like this romhack quite a bit! i think the stuff with hero is really interesting#i like the second timeline i like the uncomfortable changes i like how you actually make partner worse as an inversion to the vanilla game#but when the chatot stuff happens it takes me out of it. free my man he did some bullshit but not all that

Between this episode being all about past events, the fact that they're celebrating christmas at home instead of with Ruth, them seemingly living in the office instead of a house, the fact that Sam can just up and leave, and the fact that they refer to the events as a "breakup"; I can't help but view this flashback as taking place very early in their romantic relationship, back when they were starting to date, which could also explain why Max would make such a mistake.
The fact that we don't get to see the spinning Max thing outside of the building is also very convenient considering the theory of the cartoon being the last entry of the franchise chronologically.
(Note that I'm working on a headcanon chronology (for the fun of it) and tend to headcanon the duo as being a couple for most of the franchise. So when I say "back when Sam and Max started dating", I'm talking all the way back to the comics, or at least some of the comics)
Now the only issue with this idea is that we learn how this is the year they met Lorne, who is a character exclusive to the cartoon. Then again you could always imagine they managed to avoid him, like maybe he didn't know where they lived back then. And with how big the city is, he had no shot of finding out.

fanart of this written tayston scene with the prompt “why me?” 💜💖💙
#sometimes it takes me a minute of pondering what i want to draw before remembering like listen an answer is always Tayston#winston billions#corned beef#tayston#been wrangling w/the usual unnecessary trepidation in taking even a step further w/efforts to write anything ever so great time to sketch#not like this is a sketch b/c not how often is anything ever lol this has taken abt 5 hours. just not ultra honed / polished#which isn't to say there wasn't honing and nonzero polishing....#''why me'' is so fucking like. scream it's just So thoroughly relevant re: winston aughh#in turn relevantly & appropriately i go [aaughhhh] when i merely Remember the ''i'm here'' themed gifset re winston like yep argh help aughh#and my god read the scene....the Inherent Intimacy of winston getting to die in a nightmare of taylor's#that ode to taylor's line about (supposedly. maybe not so much in the immediate disoriented aftermath; such as would be the case here) being#appreciative of having nightmares b/c then it's like oh nice reality is much better lol...Thusly#winston getting to give some disorientatedly unfiltered comfort here and that it can be effective#then the inherent intimacy of a Familiar Comfortable Domestic/Morning Routine#both of them being more conscious / coordinated and winston navigating that with solid familiarity / comfort / effectiveness as well.....#here you are.......#(okay two edits and two resaved versions of this png later since i opened this new post lol)#the bi flag coloration was not planned lol it just happens

You know, I really like this moment between Angel and Giles in season 10.
Because, for the most part, everyone is having issues with Angel here (I might break that down in a moment), though they've asked him if he can fly in from London to help them fight Archaeus, though are acting like this towards him (but I get why with stuff that's happened before this)... and I feel it's GILES who steps in here to try and turn things around, with his purposely distracting question about Faith, which is definitely surprising to see (because we all know Angel and Giles' many issues). And it just makes it an even more amazing moment FOR that reason to me.
But as for the reasons for the drama here (the shortened version, anyway):
Angel just found out at this exact moment that Buffy is dating Spike, which he's obviously heartbroken about because he's still in love with her. And when he showed up a tiny bit ago, they'd had a moment where they were talking one-on-one in Willow's room, that I think made Angel think for a second that they were going to get back together (some of the stuff that Buffy was saying may have also led him think this; I'm not blaming Buffy here. It was all just really bad timing, that I really don't know could have been avoided, any way you spin it). And Buffy clearly feels really bad about all of that.
And also in a minute, Angel and Buffy get into an argument about splitting up (not the splitting up part), but the fact that Buffy wants their strongest magic users on Angel's team, in case Archaeus (Angel's great-grand sire) gets control over him (an ability that he has) and they then they all have Angelus to deal with, plus Archaeus. And then Buffy is basically saying, "Tell me I'm not wrong!" and Angel can't, but he's still kind of irritated about it.
Spike is jealous that Angel is here, and that they need him at all, and is worried that Buffy might break up with him and get back with Angel, thus the two of them are fighting like usual.
Angel and Dawn are on really good terms with each other--and are excited to really be getting to know each other for the first time--so Dawn is one of the few exceptions to this mess.
Xander was actually trying with Angel for the first time ever, and it's actually really commendable and all really good, for the most part! Though there's this moment where Xander gets envious when Angel and Dawn hug. Because Xander/Dawn is canon to the comics, but they're broken up for a second here. And I'm guessing in seeing them hug (and with Buffy dating Spike here), he was worried that those two could start dating now? (And speaking of which, Buffy also acted really weirdly to Angel hugging Dawn, so much so that she, like, yanks her out of Angel's arms. o_0 It might be because she feels like she can no longer trust Angel with Dawn or the people she loves--and if so, that's really annoying and ticks me off--but I think it's actually because she was also strangely jealous of this moment... Wow, everyone is just being haunted by the Green-Eyed-Monster in this scene. Because even if she is with Spike right now, she does still have feelings for Angel and we see that while he's there with her in this short season 10 arc).
Willow is also pretty okay with Angel here, though she really doesn't say much or seem to do anything to better or worsen the situation. Edit: Wait. Just kidding. She's really there for Angel later. She's just not very vocal in this scene? Maybe she was just trying to stay out of it, and who can blame her?
So, yeah: this Angel and Giles instance is really nice, imo. And the proof to me that he WAS trying to calm things down, is when you have Angel saying "Everything's good. Real good," and then Giles responding with, "yes. clearly," that seems to be him moreso talking about their situation right then, then the stuff about Angel and Faith in Magic Town that Angel was just speaking about.
