Apparently my cats have decided to separate their nursing duties between the two of them.

My female cat lay on me during my period to keep me warm and purr so the pain is manageable. She also watch over me while I sleep because I have sleep apnea and my body doesn’t deal well with cold in winter risking me dying in my sleep.

My male cat is apparently on duty to help when I’m stressed and angry. I was pissed due to severe anxiety and when I passed by him he hooked my shirt with his claws twice and then bit me and licked it better when I tried to leave without picking him up the second time.

I don’t know when they decided their duties and how to split them but apparently they did. My two fluffy nurses trying to keep me healthy and alive in their own small ways.

Oh, thanks! The hat is the Juno Slouch Hat by Justine Walley (here’s a link to it on Ravelry, though I actually found it in a library book called Crochet to Calm.) And the cowl is the Nordland Morning Mist Cowl by Armida Joy, available for free on Ravelry. 

I will note, I had to redo the hat because my head is just a *bit* bigger than most hat patterns seem to accommodate, so when I was halfway through with it I realized it was really too tight. As long as you add stitches in multiples of two (or, add rows to the hat band in multiples of two) it’s pretty easy to adapt.
