Hi there!

Oh god I'm looking at the dance scene again and yes it's very hot but I can't get over that little moment where Erik kisses Rogue's knuckles and they give each other those cute, small smiles 😭 it's like that ONE little moment where nothing else matters and they can just SEE each other. SO well done!!
!!! thank you for dropping by! 💜
A million times yes! The dance was a treat but the essence of that entire scene is in the closing moment for me as well.
The respect and love he has for her!!! I adore that detail. It’s not done as a charming, smart or flirtatious gesture; instead it's simple, polite and sincere. It’s appreciative and gentle.
It's in the way he looks at her, in his relaxed smile and in the soft way in which he brings her hand to his lips. We’ve seen Magneto capable of intense feelings: anger, pain, disdain, we’ve seen tears and defeat but the moments where he's been truly happy (even in comics) have been few and far between. This brief scene was one of them and I will forever be grateful it was once again, shared with her.
I'm also aware that towards the end Rogue’s mind was struggling with guilt and doubt, so there is something that takes away from the totality of the moment, unlike the complete bliss she allowed herself to feel when he held her hand in episode 2.
But even so, there is such a shared familiarity and tenderness in their exchange. It's lovely and bittersweet at the same time.
Do you ever think about Rogue who is scared of her powers, of them hurting people, and Magneto who is committed to Never ever making someone feel bad for their powers, whose entire deal is making sure mutants can see the beauty in what they are because I did and now I'm not okay
You are EXACTLY right and thank you for sharing your insights. His love for her is a concentration of the love he has for all mutants (which can especially be seen in his interactions with the Morlocks)
