Puts down his phone. “What do you want me to say, hyung?” “You know how long it’s been?” He snaps, because this is too easy, and Yoongi - Yoongi doesn’t know how to function with ‘easy’. “You know how fucking hard it is to be - and you’re not even gonna ask what the fuck I want?” Taehyung’s lips curl slightly in his peripheral, weight shifting so he can jam a hand into his pocket. “It’s 3am, hyung.” He comments, flippant. “I think we know what you want.” Yoongi’s silent, then, only for a moment, just long enough.  Too long, because Taehyung shifts a little closer, between Yoongi and the bed now, pauses. “You want to tell us anyway?” He asks, and it hangs in the air, thick and heavy, makes it hard to breathe. It’s the invitation Yoongi came here for, had expected to get turned away with words of disbelief and ridicule. Finds himself faltering now, all that cocksure certainty evaporated like the smoke that had clouded his senses before, made him think this was something he could do. “You gonna kick me out?” Yoongi says, finally, carefully, just to be safe, and Taehyung looks at him like maybe he’s stupid. Looks at him like maybe he thinks it’s endearing.  “Have we ever?” He returns, simply, watches as Yoongi shakes his head. They haven’t. He doesn’t understand it, never has, but this space seems to be his to take, whenever he wants it, and - he does.  He wants. So fucking badly.
