Leopards mating rituals have them mate every 15 minutes for up to 5 days. That means if they last 5 days they can mate up to 480 times. That is because female leopards (same as lionesses) require stimulus to start ovulation. They do not produce an egg every 28 days. #leopard #mating . . Chacma Baboons are from the Old World monkey family and located primarily in southern Africa. They usually live in social groups called troops, which are composed of multiple adult males, adult females, and their offspring. At night they often sleep in large groups on cliffs or in trees to avoid predators. The morning dispersal from the sleeping site is synchronized, with all members leaving at the same time. In most cases, dispersal is initiated by a single individual, and the other members of the group decide whether or not to follow. Red Lechwe is an antelope found in the wetlands of south central Africa where they eat aquatic plants. They use the knee-deep water as protection from predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah. Their legs are covered in a water-repellant substance which allows them to run quite fast in knee-deep water. Lechwe are diurnal (day active) and they sometimes gather in herds which can include many hundreds of individuals.
