Melting Point
Hey, everybody! Thanks so much for hanging in there, but I think I’m back now! Here’s my fic for Squealing Santa 2k19! This fic is for @rosileeduckie who asked for a holiday-themed KiriBaku fic. This was a blast to write, and I really hope you enjoy it! Thanks to @ticklygiggles for hosting this year!
Words: 1,188
As the light snow fell on the campus grounds, a herd of tightly-bundled young heroes made their way back to the dorms for the night. There was chatter dispersed all throughout the crowd, but the voice of one blonde-haired electric-user made itself known.
“I can’t wait for tomorrow! Uraraka, you and Iida are coming to the arcade with all of us, right? Kirishima finally got Bakugo to agree!” Uraraka smiled widely and answered.
“Of course! I think Todoroki and Deku are coming, too!” A smile found a home on the face of the young man, as well.
“Aw, yeah, Class 1-A, all together! Things are starting to look up for this weekend! We’re coming back to the dorms to make a stew pot and cookies for dinner. You said you got the hot cocoa and the movie lined up, right?” She nodded.
“Yep! I’ve got ‘The Year Without a Santa Claus’ ready to go! As long as everybody brings a pillow and a blanket, we should be in pretty good shape!” Kaminari gave her a thumbs up before running to the front of the pack. Uraraka squealed before grasping the arm of her boyfriend, grinning widely.
“I’m so excited, Tenya! This is going to be great!” Iida smiled down at her, taking in her expression.
“As am I. It should prove to be good fun and a good bonding experience for all of us. Spending time with family and friends is the reason for the season, after all.” She couldn’t help but smile as she snuggled closer to his side as they continued the trek to the dorms. When they finally made it, they noticed that there was a feature adorning the top of the doorway that wasn’t there when they had left.
“Uh, when did that get there?” Asked Jirou as the others shrugged. Whomever it was that put it there, they either weren’t there or weren’t fessing up. Yayorozu smiled, pecking Kyoka on the lips before walking in.
“Oh, it’s the holidays, my dear. Never mind how it got there.” Jirou blushed and sputtered as her classmates laughed before she smiled and followed Momo in. The others filed in as well, though Todoroki stopped Izuku to place a kiss on his forehead before taking his hand and walking into the dorms together. When Iida came to the door, Ochako tugged on his sleeve. He turned to see her expectant look, and he couldn’t help but blush a bit as he leaned down for her. She placed a light kiss on his cheek, making him grin despite himself. He gazed at how sweetly she was grinning at him, and his heart soared before placing a kiss on her cheek.
“One for you, as well.” She blushed and looped her arm in his before they walked through the door. They stopped in their tracks, however, when they remembered that Bakugo and Kirishima were the ones behind them. When they turned around, they saw Kirishima looking at his boyfriend expectantly. However, Bakugo was looking at his classmates that were already inside.
“Quit gawking and mind your own damn business!” Kirishima laughed along with the others as the door closed behind them. When Kirishima’s chuckling finally subsided, he took a look at his boyfriend’s face. When he noticed a light blush on his cheeks, he immediately felt a tug on his heartstrings.
“Hey, they were just messing around. If you don’t want to kiss me, it’s okay. You know that, right?” Bakugo looked to the ground, his blush darkening a bit.
"It's not that I don't wanna kiss you, dumbass, I'd just rather not do it for an audience, you know? And the whole mistletoe thing is just stupid. I don't like being told when I'm supposed to kiss my partner." Kirishima's face lit up in understanding, and he grinned.
"I get it. I may not get a kiss, but I'm not walking away from this mistletoe completely empty-handed." Before Bakugo could ask him what he was talking about, Kirishima slipped his hands under Bakugo's coat as the lights turned off in the main hall, signaling that everyone was back in their dorms for the night. Bakugo was shaking with restrained laughter, his hands in his pocket as he hid his face in his boyfriend's shoulder.
"W-what ahare you doing?" Kirishima chuckled.
"If I can't kiss you under a mistletoe, I guess I'll tickle you under it." He could see the tips of Bakugo's ears turn red, and Kirishima's heart swelled. It was a rarity that his man would take this kind of playful affection without an immediate shutdown. Perhaps the holidays were having an effect on him? As Kirishima slipped to drag his fingers lightly along Bakugo's sides, he was able to draw the elusive giggles from his boyfriend. This was what Ejiro liked to call his "Melting Point". If he tickled Bakugo just there, where his sides met his hips, Katsuki would blush, giggle, and turn to putty in his hands. But he didn’t dare say that out loud.
“Youhuhu stuhuhupid… Aheeheehee, shihihit, nahahat thehehere!” He clapped a hand over his mouth and slid down the wall as Ejiro’s teasing fingertips went up his ribs, finally stopping on his highest one, just before his underarms. Kirishima giggled along with his boyfriend, who was doing his best to keep his laughter under wraps. He could tell that he needed to stick to softer tickles so that he wouldn’t get too loud, so he went back to lightly scratching Bakugo’s belly and sides, making his giggles go up a pitch before he sunk even more.
“Yes, there! I didn’t get a kiss, so I’m gonna get that handsome smile, at least.” Bakugo’s face turned blood red, making him hide his face in his boyfriend’s shoulder as he snorted.
“Geeheeheehee, Ehehehej, c-cuhuhut it ahahaout! Ihihi cahahan’t…” Kirishima smiled, rubbing his boyfriend’s belly to disperse the sensation. He extended a hand for his boyfriend to take so he could help him up.
“I’m sorry, babe, I just couldn’t help myself. You know I’m a sucker for your laugh.” Katsuki merely grumbled as his boyfriend opened the door for him and they entered the dormitory. He gave Kirishima a tight hug, and they said their goodnights before they headed to their rooms for the night.
~The Next Morning~
Kirishima, Iida, Midoriya, Tsu, and Yaomomo were all up in the kitchen making breakfast, talking quietly so they wouldn’t wake their teacher and classmates. Bakugo was crossing the end of the hall as he heard Kaminari’s loud voice from the floor above.
“Hey, who the hell keeps moving that mistletoe?”
Bakugo rolled his eyes, and in doing so, noticed a flash of green and red right above his head. He looked at Kirishima, who was turned halfway towards him but seemed too engrossed in a conversation with Deku to have noticed him. Bakugo turned as quietly as he could and headed back up to his dorm, happy that his boyfriend hadn’t seen him.
And if Kirishima had gotten up from his chair and followed behind him at a distance, he was none the wiser.

A Romantic Gift
Summary: Kirishima and Bakugou are giving each other their gifts, and Kirishima’s causes a few... hitches.
Word Count: 1,543
Rating: Gen
A/N: This was my Squealing Santa submission for @mysecrettickles!! Big thanks to @ticklygiggles for hosting the event, it was really fun this year~! A little bit late, but Merry Christmas!
It was Christmas time at U.A. high school, everyone had passed out their gifts to their friends, and two particular lovebirds had just exchanged theirs.
“Suki, this is amazing!!” Kirishima exclaimed as he opened his gift. It was a limited edition figurine of Crimson Riot, Kirishima’s favorite superhero. He beamed happily and embraced Bakugou, who sat across from him on the bed with his arms and legs crossed, looking uninterested except for his slight grin.
“Yeah, yeah, I knew you’d like that,”
Kirishima’s smile faded slightly as he looked down at the wrapped gift he had for Bakugou. He didn’t really know what to get him, they were very new in their relationship and he wanted to get him something related to that, but now that Bakugou got him something based on Kirishima’s own interests and not on their relationship, he felt more sheepish about his gift.
“Do you actually want me to open it, or are you just going to hold it?” Bakugou joked, gesturing at the small gift Kirishima was holding.
A small blush crept up Kirishima’s face as he pulled the gift back a little. “I don’t know if you’ll like it…”
“I’m gonna love it Kiri, can I open it now?” Bakugou said with a little more force in his voice.
Kirishima handed him the gift and watched as Bakugou slowly and agonizingly unwrapped it, making sure not to tear any of the wrapping paper.
“Are you trying to torture me?” Kirishima groaned, pulling his hands down his face. Bakugou smirked at Kirishima and nodded.
Bakugou finally finished unwrapped his gift and turned it over in his hand a few times, making Kirishima nervously sweat.
“Couples Coupons: Things to Request from your Significant Other?” Bakugou read aloud, slight confusion in his voice.
“I-I mean I thought since we were finally, um, together, we should try and do some stuff with each other? I’ve never been in a relationship before so I don’t really know what to do so I thought we could do this?” Kirishima explained, gesturing wildly with his hands.
Bakugou chuckled. “Whatever you want, Kiri. I’m gonna use one now.”
Kirishima leaned over as Bakugou opened the box and pulled out a few cards. “Shoulder massage, a kiss, movie night, cuddling… Kiri are you serious with this?”
Kirishima blushed a bright red and sputtered. “I didn’t know what was in it I’m sorry I’ll get you a different gift if you want-”
“I’ll use the kiss coupon,” Bakugou said flatly.
Kirishima stopped and stared blankly at Bakugou. They hadn’t kissed yet, Kirishima had never kissed anyone either. Wait, this was going to be his first kiss.
Kirishima nodded slowly and repositioned himself in front of Bakugou, who wrapped his arm around Kirishima’s waist and placed one hand on his cheek. Kirishima blushed even deeper as he looked at Bakugou who closed his eyes and began to lean in more, flustering Kirishima to a level which he thought was very, very unmanly. In a panic of not knowing what to do, he puffed up his cheeks and squeezed his eyes shut, quickly pressing his face hard against Bakugou’s, who grunted at the sudden force.
Kirishima pulled away and gasped, looking away from Bakugou and burying his head in his shoulder.
“Kiri, why are you so bad at kissing?”
Kirishima blushed and quickly pulled away from Bakugou, who was smirking tenderly at him.
“A-Am I? I’m sorry, I’ve never done this before and I just got really nervous…” Kirishima twiddled his thumbs and looked down, unable to find the right words to describe how he was feeling.
Bakugou chuckled. “Well, puffing your cheeks and squishing your face into mine isn’t exactly the most pleasant thing, but I guess it’s cute.”
Oh boy.
Kirishima buried his face in his hands and flopped onto his side on the bed.
“I’m sorry, I just totally ruined our first kiss!”
Bakugou slowly laid down next to him and reached for his hands. “Kiri, no you didn’t. Is there anything I can do to make you less nervous? I know this is important to you.” Kirishima looked at Bakugou who now averted his gaze as a soft pink hue grazed his cheeks.
The box of coupons that rested beside them caught Kirishima’s eye, and he sat up and grabbed one. “Shoulder massage?” he said bashfully.
Bakugou had a surprised look on his face at first, but nodded, and gestured for Kirishima to sit in front of him. Kirishima did so with his back facing Bakugou and he instantly felt his boyfriend’s warm hands press gently into his shoulders. Kirishima’s tenseness instantly melted away and he leaned back a little bit against Bakugou’s chest, finally relaxing.
Bakugou moved his hands surprisingly gently across his shoulders, pinching a little bit down his triceps and rubbing his thumbs between his shoulder blades. His hands traveled dextrously across his upper body, and as he worked his fingers began to brush against the back of Kirishima’s neck a bit, eliciting short breathy giggles from his red-haired partner.
“Kiri?”
Bakugou stopped his movements, taking notice of Kirishima’s giggling.
“Sorry, I’m a bit ticklish I guess…” Kirishima said frankly, not seeing the wide smirk appear on Bakugou’s face as his back was to him.
“Oh are you now?~” Bakugou said menacingly, causing fear to suddenly rise in Kirishima who turned around to now see an ominous shadow that was Bakugou raise his hands above him in a clawlike shape.
“S-Suki, please don’t, I swear- Ack!”
Kirishima was cut off as his sides were quickly bombarded by Bakugou’s spidering fingers, causing instant tingling sensations and the room was flooded with Kirishima’s boisterous laughter.
“Katsuhuhuki, please! Stohohohohohop ACK NOHOHOHohoho not thereee!”
Kirishima screamed when Bakugou moved his fingers down towards his hips and squeezed. He hit against Bakugou’s chest as his face turned bright red and tears started to bud in his eyes.
“What? Don’t like that spot? Then how about… hmmm....”
Bakugou began to drum his fingers on Kirishima’s ribs in thought, making Kirishima squeal. Bakugou grinned.
“Here seems good.”
He began to rake his fingers up and down Kirishima’s ribs, playing them like a xylophone and making Kirishima’s laughter get very squeaky and higher-pitched, it was very unmanly. Kirishima pushed against Bakugou’s chest, and his thumbs got locked under his arms in the process making Bakugou let out a choked noise and squeeze his arms in, trapping Kirishima’s thumbs.
As Kirishima’s last means of escape from this ticklish hell, he wiggled his thumbs as much as he could, causing Bakugou to make very strangled noises as he cursed.
“Sh-Shit, Kiri, stop that right n-now,” Bakugou spluttered, working his hands even more vigorously on Kirishima’s ribs.
But Kirishima wouldn’t stop, and through his loud laughter and newly forming tears, he managed to worm both his hands under Bakugou’s arm and immediately began tickling him with vigor.
Bakugou gasped and immediately stopped tickling Kirishima to try and protect himself, but that was a fatal mistake.
Kirishima quickly turned the tables and shoved Bakugou down, straddling his hips and running his hands up and down his sides. Bakugou yelped and reached one hand over his mouth to stop his laughter while the other tried to bat Kirishima away.
“Aww, come on Suki, let me hear your laugh~” Kirishima teased, and Bakugou’s giggles could almost immediately be heard from underneath his hand.
Kirishima scribbled his hands all over Bakugou, but he eventually hit a sweet spot on Bakugou’s tummy, which made Bakugou rip his hand off his mouth to grab Kirishima’s wrist.
“Dohohohon’t you dare!”
Kirishima grinned.
“Oh, I dare.”
Kirishima used one hand to lift up Bakugou’s shirt and immediately began to spider his fingers all over Bakugou’s bare tummy, which made him arch his back and scream.
“KIRIIII!! PLEHEHEHEASE STOP! TOO MUCH TOO MUHUHUHUHUCH!!” Bakugou shrieked, kicking his legs out and squirming as much as he possibly could as Kirishima scribbled all over his tummy.
“Oh, this is too much? Then you’re just gonna love the next part, Suki.”
Kirishima leaned down over Bakugou’s abdomen, his spiky red hair already sending soft tickly feelings on his belly, and before Bakugou could even protest what Kirishima was about to do, his lips were pressed against his skin and-
Pffbt!
Bakugou screamed bloody murder, scaring the living shit out of Kirishima. He pulled away from Bakugou, finally giving him a chance to breathe.
Bakugou covered his face with his hands, his chest heaving as he gratefully gulped in some much-needed oxygen. Kirishima laid down next to him on his side and wrapped an arm around him.
“Sorry about that, I got a bit carried away…”
Kirishima rested his head in the crook of Bakugou’s neck, waiting for Bakugou to catch his breath for what he would say next.
“Are you still nervous Kiri?”
Kirishima grinned and pulled his head away from Bakugou to look at him. His face was bright pink with a thin layer of sweat, but he was smiling a genuine, heartfelt smile that Kirishima often did not get to see which made his own heart leap.
Kirishima shook his head, gazing down into Bakugou’s eyes before leaning down and kissing him affectionately and softly. Now that was a nice first kiss.

Kiribaku Week 2019
Day 4 [April 17th] Bakusquad / Support / Cultural Festival
I love the idea that Bakugou isn't the best at being supportive or emotional, but for Kirishima, my god he will try. Even if all he can do is hold him close

A Simple Gesture
Prompt: Headphones
Pairing: KiriBaku
In honor of the first prompt of @kiribaku-challenges here’s my fic! I hope you all enjoy some sweet and fluffy bois!!
—-
It was a simple gesture, one that shouldn’t hold any thought. People do it all the time so this, this wasn’t a big deal.
Kirishima tried his hardest to calm his rapid heartbeat, turning his chest just slightly away so that Bakugou didn’t see the heavy thumping. He really shouldn’t be making a big deal about this, no he shouldn’t.
But he couldn’t ingnore it. They were sharing headphones for crying out loud!
“Calm down dude.” Kirishima mentally yelled to himself. But his body didn’t ignore the steady heat coming from their touching shoulders or the way their fingers brushed past as Bakugou bounced his leg to the beat of the tunes.
No Kirishima should make their proximity that big of a deal, they had sat this close before and have pinned each other to the floor during training, but something in the back of his head kept yelling “this is a sign dude!”
So when the train came to a stop and the doors opened, the two of them stood, still connected by the simple white wire of Bakugous headphones. They walked through the crowded hallways and in downtown. Not once did Bakugou pull or tug but instead took a step closer.
Kirishima couldn’t help the way his cheeks filled with red when they casually strolled along and looked almost like...a couple. He kept wiping his sweaty palms down his jeans every time the blondes head was turned.
Bakugou remained unfazed as they finished their shopping for the day and took their final steps at the dorm. They had spent the entire day connected by one cord and Kirishima thought he was going to die.
Sure they were best bros but something more was growing between them, at least for him and he knew that if he didn’t get to his room quickly, he might say or do something that he would regret. He couldn’t risk the possibility of losing his best friend, no it wasn’t worth it.
They stopped at Kiri’s door first. A small feeling of sadness swept through him as he took out the ear bud and handed it back to Bakugou. He simply nodded and popped it into his ear before returning to his room and Kirishima swore he heard him whisper “idiot” under his breath. He sighed knowing Bakugou though my nothing of it and was kinda glad that he was still acting his usual way.
He watch his bro disappear behind his door before slamming his door shut and cupping his chest in his palm. Kirishima couldn’t believe that a simple act like that had him all worked up.
He calmed down and tried to distract himself from today. Plugging in his own phone and music, he drowned himself in his tunes. Classic rock mixed with pop and rap was set in his playlist, a common thing him and Bakugou share. Though as each song passed by, he couldn’t recall ever hearing any of their favorite genre play.
It wasn’t until the moon rose into the sky that Kirishima realized that every song that was played was a love song or a confession. He racked his brain over the lyrics and he knew that Bakugou wasn’t listening to them without a purpose.
Jolting out of his bed, he found himself knocking on his best bros door. Shrugging he let himself in, heartbeat pounding faster than ever.
“Shitty hair? The fuck are you doing-“ but his voice was muffled with a hand over his mouth and his body pinned by the red head. His back was too his bed and in the soft glow from his window could he see the flustered look of the red head.
“Those songs- they had a purpose.” Kirishima panted and then he saw the infamous eye roll and felt the smirk underneath his hand.
“Idiot.” He heard Bakugou spat but it held no punch. Slowly Kirishima removed his hand but kept himself sitting on his torso. He looked at the wall and didn’t know what to do next. His head was racing with so many emotions that he couldn’t process them all.
Carefully Bakugou sat up and kept the redhead in his lap. He leaned over and took his phone and popped an ear piece in his and Kiris. A love song started to play and Kirishima blushed when a soft kissed was placed on his cheek.
“Of course they had a purpose.” The blonde whispered and Kirishima nodded.
The rest of the night was spent laying side by side and listening to a plethora of songs. Fingers interlocked and hearts connected as one, all thanks to a pair of headphones.

Hope you enjoyed! Can’t wait for the next prompt!

loving times
@krbkweek2k19 (Day 5) April 19 Massage / First Times / Touches
Warning: fluff!
Word Count: 1510
Author’s Note: It’s literally 12pm as I write this so I’m gonna say I’m not late.
The five moments of sweet and loving times with Bakugou and Kirishima.
Tumblr media
Sharing hobbies with him.
They just wanted a way to spend time together outside of studying. Thats at least what Kirishima kept telling himself it was supposed to be. Just a TV show and a little popcorn. Kirishima rested a sweaty palm onto his pant leg.
“You nervous or something?”
Kirishima snapped his head to where Bakugou sat on the couch, lounging back, arms across the back and legs kicked up on the table.
“Come over here.” He says it with such disinterest that Kirishima can’t tell if he is playing or not. Yet the blush on his face reaches the tip of his ears and Kirishima smiles.
“Okay!” He presses himself into the curve of Bakugou’s side. Which might he add, perfect and warm and amazing. Bakugou simply growls before starting the movie. The lights in the room going dark, Kirishima pulled the blanket close. Slipping his fingers under the fabric and wrapping them in Bakugou’s. He smiled upon feeling his sweaty palm on his.
Bakugou may be able to act but nothing can hide sweaty palms. Kirishima giggles and Bakugou shifts underneath him.
The music to the movie plays and Kirishima is leaning closer than ever before.
Saying he is yours.
You’d think that “Bakugou is my boyfriend.” is a simple enough sentence. Just a few jumbles of words, the perfect perfection of letters and they make Kirishima blush himself to death. Bakugou has found ways to avoid it, with that constant aura of grace he has. Shouting ‘he is mine!’ or ‘to back off!’ was his wonderful way of expressing his love for Kirishima. And Kiri loved it. But just the pure words of utterance from his own mouth and it was over.
He was the most unmanly man in the world. Who couldn’t say their boyfriend was their boyfriend? Kirishima pulled his fingers to hook onto the edge of his shirt. Anxiously rubbing at the factory he can just barely hear the yelling.
“Leave me alone!” It's very distinctly Bakugou, he can hear the faint explosions.
In the distance, he can see someone pulling themselves closer and closer to Bakugou, a lovestruck look in their eyes. Kirishima can feel the anger boiling inside him.
“I said leave me alone!” Kirishima can barely hear what they're saying but he knows that Bakugou doesn’t look comfortable. He can’t stop his feet when he starts to run.
“Hey, leave my boyfriend alone!”
It's so quick that for a second Kirishima doesn’t realize that it’s left his mouth. If Bakugou wasn’t there he’d probably fall to the floor a red mess but he stands his ground in front of him.
“Get out of here.” And surprisingly they do.
Bakugou sets a soft hand on his shoulder, Kirishima can already hear him yelling.
“Look I-”
Bakugou’s lips are soft and welcoming on his. Pulling him closer and making him feel warm inside. Is this his way of finally acknowledging he said it?
If this was the prize he’d say it over and over.
He lets a part of him slip that he hasn’t before.
The air is the room is stale and sharp equipped with the easy silence. Kirishima finds himself leaning into Bakugou’s arms more and more. The beeps from his DS lights up the space between them.
It’s the easiest night they’ve both had in a while, no school, no homework or villains. There is no worry that floods the dorm rooms. With a faint look toward Bakugou, Kirishima can tell there is no worry or anger in his face, no folding of his skin to show the negative emotions. He flips to the next page of his book, nuzzling back into Kirishima’s side. His smile is wide and devilish, despite the atmosphere. Kirishima doesn’t realize why it is until he smells it.
He shoots up from his resting position, glaring at Bakugou. It smells brazen and foul, filling the air but it can’t be from Bakugou, can it?
“Did you just-”
Bakugou’s smile grew, his shiny canines peeking out from underneath his lips. He didn’t even need to say the words but Kirishima knew.
“Did you just fucking fart?” He can feel the betrayal rise in his throat, the only remnants of hope gone when Bakugou finally lets out a villainous laugh. Kirishima distances himself from the vulgar smell.
“You are just terrible!” He tries to say it with a straight face but near the end, he can feel himself break into laughter. But then Bakugou gets closer, arms wide and tries to pull him close and Kirishima can’t stop himself from screaming, “No! Stop! Your gonna bring the smell over here!”
Bakugou doesn’t and Kirishima doesn’t stop screaming.
Seeing him in the new home together.
The floorboards quietly creek under the small patter of his feet, dust rising off of them in every kick. Bakugou couldn’t stop complaining about this place when they first bought it. Even though it was the only place that was in their price range. Just starting out as side-kicks wasn’t exactly bringing in the bills.
Another floorboard squeaked under his foot, he can hear Bakugou’s disgruntled growl. Kirishima couldn’t help but giggle at the muttering of curse words under his breath.
“Why did we have to buy this garbage dump anyway?” Bakugou questioned, stuffing his hands into his pants.
Kirishima scoffed, “You know why. At least we already got the bed in, otherwise, we’d have to sleep on this floor.”
Kirishima knows they are very lucky that the movers did that one singular thing while they worked overtime as sidekicks, he knows they’d be far too tired to put it all together.
The door to their bedroom opens with an eery squeak and then Kirishima is smiling.
The bed fits so good in the room. It isn’t too small or big, it settles in the middle just so. Kirishima couldn’t wait to lay on that bed, blowing kisses at Bakugou from across the room.
It’s trashy but it’s the good trashy and Kirishima can see themselves living in it and loving it.
When he gets down on one knee.
Kirishima almost thinks that Bakugou is hurt when he bends down, one knee on the floor. That maybe he overworked himself during work and now he is paying the price. The worry is filling him before he can even see Bakugou digging into his pocket.
“Katsu-”
“Shut up.”
Kirishima is confused until he sees the soft velvet of the red box in Bakugou’s coarse palms, fingers anxiously running over the soft fabric. He can see the anxiety in Bakugou’s face, he wants to push forward and press his fingers into those lines, pressing the anxiety out of them. He can’t bring himself to move.
“You’ve been everything for me since we’ve left UA. You were there for me in my hardest times, you were there for me when I didn’t think I needed you. You and only you were there for me. You were the one that taught me that it was okay to be vulnerable, to show that I’m not always strong. That there was manliness is that.” They both can’t help but laugh at that one. Kirishima can already feel the sob rising in his throat, Bakugou looks just as ready. “I love you so much I can’t find the words sometimes. You take my words away from me. I may act like I hate you for that but I love you. I love how you make me feel and how you make me smile. You are so perfect sometimes that I don’t think I deserve you.” He shifts on his knee, opening the box.
The ring is one of the manliest things that Kirishima has ever seen. Perfect in every way.
“I want to deserve you. I want to show you how much good I can do. So please, will you marry me?”
Kirishima can’t stop the tears racing down his cheeks, lips pulled into a wobbly smile, “You deserve so much Bakugou. You’ve shown me how amazing you can be. Every day when you are out there saving lives you are showing me why I love you. You’re the best thing that can ever happen to me.”
He drops to one knee himself, pulling out the black leather box containing the carefully picked ring. One that can withstand Bakugou’s explosions, of course. He hears Bakugou gasp.
“But I was supposed to ask you first.”
Bakugou presses his lips so quickly into Kirishima’s, he can hardly breathe. It doesn’t matter though because Bakugou is stealing the air left in his lungs. He can feel the soft tears wetting his collar, as he does to Bakugou’s.
“You idiot, all you had to do was say yes.”
Kirishima has shared many first with Bakugou. Shared many incomparable moments that hold so many bright and loving times. But to know that they will be able to do that forever. To be able to share first after first. To be able to share these sweet and tender loving times with him.
That’s all he ever wanted.

Kiribaku Week Day 5
Pairing: Bakugou/Kirishima
Rating: General Audiences
Word Count: 860
Summary: Oh there’s a final project? And they don’t get to pick their partners???
Additional tags: High School AU
High School
“I’ll be choosing your partner for the final project, please be kind to them and actually do your portion of the work.”
“Oh fuck this,” Bakugou grumbled.
“Bakugou,” their teacher stared pointedly at him, “you will be partnered with Kirishima. We know you’re the smartest person in the world, but it’s his grade too, so try to let him participate.”
As the rest of the class snickered, the teacher continued handing out partners.
It didn’t matter what she said, he was probably going to be doing all of the work anyways. Seeing as how Kirishima ran with the jock crowd.
Popular and loved by everyone, plus a full extracurricular schedule. The guy was perfect, and too good to do any extra work.
“Hey,” Kirishima soundlessly popped up next to him.
“Fuck, what the fuck,” Bakugou nearly jumped out of his skin and pushed Kirishima’s chair a good foot back.
Kirishima smiled, “We should coordinate schedules. Preferably I’d like to start this weekend. You busy Friday night?”
“The project’s not due ‘til the end of the semester. This Friday is too early, even for me,” Bakugou huffed and tried to hide his face. Knowing full well he was blushing after it sounded like Kirishima pretty much asked him out this Friday.
“Nah, I get busy around this time. We need to coordinate quickly and bang this project out.”
He did that on purpose...
“Fine. This Friday is fine,” Bakugou grumpily pushed Kirishima’s face away before his blush became more evident.
They had never talked outside of class, barely talked inside class. But it was hard to walk these halls without knowing who Kirishima was. Every teacher had called him their golden child. He walked in large groups and could get away with anything he wanted. Not that he ever wanted to.
But Bakugou hated that. Hated that he couldn’t get away with leaving campus for lunch or forgetting a piece of the homework. So by extension, Bakugou hated Kirishima.
Until that Friday.
He showed up to the address Kirishima provided, and of course the house was perfect too. Golden Boy couldn’t possibly live in a subpar housing situation. Just one more thing Bakugou had to grumble about under his breath as Kirishima brought him to his room.
“So I’m free nearly every Friday night, or Sunday afternoon. You?”
“I... yeah, that works for me,” Bakugou didn’t really feel like mentioning he’s free nearly every night.
“We should probably split things up, have our parts done by a specific time so we can review. And then smash things together.”
Bakugou tried to hide a blush, “We won’t be smashing anything together. We can split the big things up but we need to work together to have a consistent report.”
Kirishima grinned and leaned in close, “Are you sure about the smashing thing? You seem to blush an awful lot for someone who doesn’t want to. Smash, that is.”
Bakugou’s jaw dropped, but he had no response because he knew his face was bright red.
“I’m just saying,” Kirishima flopped onto his bed.
“I- you- no,” Bakugou sat in the chair across from the bed, specifically so he wasn’t in a bed with Kirishima.
“I like you,” it came out nonchalantly, but it made Bakugou’s heart stop.
“You don’t know me,” Bakugou shot back, because if this was some sort of joke…
“I know you plenty. You like to walk around all angry and angsty, but you’re the biggest softie in the school. You volunteer every weekend, you spend your summers in soup kitchens and I swear to god I saw you pull a kitten from a tree once. You talk shit about people with straight A’s but you have straight A’s. And I know that you don’t like group projects because you think you don’t have any friends. But you have yet to realize the group of students that follow you around like puppies.”
Bakugou stared… “Yeah, well fuck you.”
“My point,” Kirishima grinned. “Like I said, I like you.”
“I’m not smashing anything,” Bakugou stared at his bookbag now covering his lap. “And I’m here to get a good grade on this project so…” he trailed off.
“I’m free every other Friday,” Kirishima smiled.
“I thought you said every Friday?” Bakugou was not going to get angry about this.
“I am. I figure every other Friday I can take you on a date.”
“Did you invite me over to hit on me?” He kind of wanted to get angry at this now.
“I invited you so we could get our schedules straight. Since I now know Fridays work best for you and me, I decided to hit on you. Gives me a better chance of you saying yes if we both know you’re not busy.”
Bakugou scoffed.
“You were the one who said the project isn’t due for awhile. We can go back to every Friday once it gets closer.”
“I- how dare- fuck you,” the blush was back but Bakugou wasn’t going to leave.
“That a yes?” Kirishima crooned.
Bakugou paused for a good few minutes, trying to find the words. But all he could think of was, “Yeah, whatever.”

KIRIBAKU WEEK 2019:
DAY 01 - DANCE / SUITS / MUSIC.
For the @krbkweek2k19
Read on Ao3.
Stars shining bright above you,
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you".
Birds singing in the sycamore tree...
Dream a little dream of me.
They haven't seen each other for approximately a whole semester now, work getting in the way of their dates and just overall time they had planned to spend together. It made them change their plans and just try to hang on onto the voices that their calls carried through, hoping that next time they could finally see each other.
Villains had risen more than ever and the need of heroes had been in an all time high. The blond and redhead heroes had been asked to travel back and forth, helping any and all kinds of situations. From dealing with hostages all the way to treating a complete maniac which threaten to make an entire county's population disappear, Kirishima Eijiro and Bakugo Katsuki hadn't had exactly the time to deal with their relationship.
Months later, they certainly didn't expect for their prayers to finally be heard, though. There they stood, at opposite ends of a grand hall, both pair of crimson eyes locked.
The room was dark, the only sources of light being the little lamps that had made their way into the decoration.
Kirishima held his breath, a smile slowly creeping up and making its way unto the man's face while Bakugo simply stood still, his expression neutral but his insides celebrating the fact that he was finally seeing the handsome metapod he had as a best and boyfriend.
They began walking towards each other, slowly. Like a moth to a flame, Bakugo pushed others aside and Kirishima managed to go around the sea of people that had decided it was as good time as any to step out from their corners and just mingle in the middle of the room.
Not even music, chattering or even excited screaming coming from the sidelines could deter the look they were both giving each other.
A look of longing.
Of trust.
Of love.
Say nighty-night and kiss me.
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me.
While I'm alone and blue as can be...
Dream a little dream of me.
Their hands found each other, urgency in their every move. Digits caressed the dark suits that contained the fit and well-worked body both males had. Chests touched as arms slid around the other's frame. Smiles couldn't be controlled anymore and managed to gain the spotlight, becoming the protagonist of this reunion.
Katsuki was smiling. That scene alone would've scared a lot of the other guests but for Eijiro it only meant one thing:
He was finally home.
Kirishima stepped back just slightly, taking in the view of his boyfriend in such a nice outfit. One once over was enough for him and, when he returned his red pools to where they belong- locked on the matching gaze of Bakugo-, his smile turned into a boyish grin. "My, how masculine you can manage to look, Katsuki." He teased, his sharp teeth showing as the grin grew and grew more with each passing moment.
The explosive hero rolled his eyes. "Shut the fuck up, Shitty Hair." He mumbled as he took the flaps of Kirishima's jacket and pulled him in forcefully, taking the other aback momentarily before he actually wrapped his arms around the man's neck, readying his lips for the imminent impact.
They kissed. Finally.
Stars fading but I linger on dear,
Still craving your kiss.
I'm longing to linger till dawn, dear.
Just saying this...
They both felt as if oxygen was at last entering both their bodies after being denied of the substancial element. They bodies merged perfectly as their hands traveled from the tip of their hair to the underside of their asses. Their little reunion was being kept safe by all the people surrounding them, so liberties could be taken.
Katsuki pulled away first only to nibble on the rocky fellow's bottom lip. Kirishima chuckled and nudged his partner away. They stood without moving a single inch, just allowing themselves to breathe in case it was all just a very realistic dream.
Eijiro moved to grab the rosebud that had been in his jacket's pocket and place it carefully inside his lover's. "God bless class reunions, huh?" He commented casually, raising his gaze just barely. Bakugo grunted in response, eyes never leaving its current mission of re-printing into his mind all of the features belonging to the pro-hero in front of him.
"I've missed you too." Admitted the one with the sharpest teeth with a voice that expressed the intimacy of the moment that was so terribly charged with feelings. He was not met with a response to those words but instead he raised a single eyebrow as he felt a strong hand grab unto his wrist and pull him into the direction of a hallway off to the side. Kirishima's gaze became one filled with questions that were answered with another grunt from his best friend that was quickly followed by a sentence which held a proposition Eijiro could pretty much get behind without arguing.
"If you missed me so much, you better fucking show it rather than just telling me shit about it."
"Fuck, that's so manly, Bakugo."
Their impeccable suits became wrinkled without a doubt moments after those words flew out of Kirishima's mouth and they missed most of the party's music and overall activities but they couldn't careless.
They were finally back were they belonged.
In between each other's arms.
Home.
Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you,
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you...
But in your dreams whatever they be,
Dream a little dream of me.
Notes:
First day up! Hopefully I'll can get to finish these on time and you'll all enjoy them!
