Please understand that I am okay, and I am not okay at the same time. My mom and dad were two of my favorite people and also two of my very best friends. Most days are really good, the sun shines, the birds sing, the baby bunnies play in my back yard, my fuzzy kitties demand their snuggles and food(in that order btw😉) and I enjoy my time, but sometimes not so much. Sometimes, I miss them so badly it is paralyzing and soul crushing at the same time. Some days it is impossible to get out of the bed and not cry all day. Sometimes, I need to talk things out and the two people that I trusted most to let me babble until I figured it out aren't there. I could tell my mom anything and I knew that she wouldn't judge me and would do her best to help me talk it out. I know people will say they are in a better place and I should feel peace in that, and I do, but that doesn't change the fact that the only two people that truly loved me unconditionally are gone. They are not on holiday. They are never coming back.
