left with a beautiful memory: my zhangjialefest2022 submission!!! tbh i never would have written this fic if not for really wanting to get something out for 02/22/2022 (even if i wasn't able to make the exact date), but i'm really happy i did write it in the end. it's always missing zhang jiale hours :''))) i am pretty happy with it tbh!! i feel like i was able to include a lot of my zjl headcanons/meta thoughts!

Good Hunting: this fic was a year and a half in the making!!! i am very proud of it actually. hmm what to even say about this! i think my prose slaps, i'm quite satisfied with the narrative, i had a mini breakdown about a stupid minor detail that waylaid the fic for months, and i wrote the last section, the transformation sequence, really early in the process and i'm still very happy with it!!!!! ahhhh having a fic i still feel this good about is really nice.

venti stormterror's lair fic: it's a fic about venti and his relationship with stormterror's lair! wrote it for the scenes of wonder genshin zine...so technically it's public and posted? i just haven't posted it on ao3 yet...if i do it the next few days i'll link it here :'') . i actually do like this one! wanted to exercise my descriptive writing muscles; i don't know how well i did but it was pretty fun to write

ganyu & liyue fic: in a very similar vein, it's a story about liyue changing through ganyu's eyes :') i'm....not super happy with this one ahahaha </3 which is also a reason it hasn't been posted yet. sigh i don't know how to clean it up though!! so the chances of me dumping it on ao3 is pretty low atm...maybe i'll throw it on tumblr first?? ahhh idk!

Apprentice's Journey: a fic about qifrey and the girls i wrote for the hempishere witch hat atelier zine! i actually completely forgot about this fic....it was actually such a bitch to write. i had to rewrite it after the first draft was done because of shitty planning.....i'm still not satisfied with the final result but oh well :(

added this question this year LOLOLOL i do have some """"active"""" wips!!!! it's mostly genshin!!!!!!!!! i have a ganqing wip i've been chipping away at for a while now that i do quite like :'D then.....two other genshin fic that i'm writing for two different free/open enrollment genshin zines! one is a lumine & albedo & venti fic that's just kind of about how all three of them are sussy non-humans. the other one is....a bit cringe LOL actually i don't even want to talk about it </3 it's supposed be yanfei & yelan with a fables theme but while i have an outline i do not like it very much :(

BTW my most exciting wip is a nahida & kaveh fic that is currently titled "nahida is my baby girl but kaveh is my babygirl. i hope you understand." however i word vomited a couple hundred freewrite words and now i have no idea how i want to keep writing it. pain pain pain.

i also?? wrote a couple hundred words for a sousou no frieren concept but ehhh that one's fighting me too. not enough meat on the concept sighhh

most fun to write was definitely (no) love left! my recipient had some REALLY banger prompts like dreams/nightmares so i tried to play a bit with that kind of atmosphere/imagery!!! i think it turned out pretty well.

Hardest Story to Write:

Apprentice's Journey, the fic I wrote for the Witch Hat Atelier zine. goddddd that fic was a nightmare to write!!! like pulling teeth!!!!!!!! i've discovered i am NOT good at planning. i need to think very hard about thematic through-lines but sometimes i end up fucking up anyway and need to rewrite the whole thing. but a good thing about this fic is i had some banger lines :))) and maybe i'll post the scrapped bits separately later.

wei wuxian drags his body forward. he does not know where he is going. sometimes, he does not know if he is alive. wei wuxian has long passed knowing if he wants to be alive.

he is limping—he is stumbling—he is crawling—his hands are wet and sticky. under the dim light of a sun he cannot see, a river of red burns against the barren dirt.

a chengqing au that appeals to one person (me) where jiang cheng saves wen qing because he thinks that keeping wen qing “hostage” in lotus pier might be able to convince wei wuxian to come home…

jiang cheng—sandu shengshou, sect leader, estranged shidi to the villainous yiling laozu—leaves for the burial mounds with a mission.

he’ll succeed. he has to. surely wei wuxian won’t be able to deny him this time, not when he’s come prepared with a trump card. surely.

later, when jiang cheng returns to lotus pier, his feet carry him directly to a secluded room. locked and warded, but not heavily. before he can form a coherent thought, he pushes open the door.

inside: wen qing, sitting on a plain bed. she jerks to attention, hope glittering in her eyes.

“...he’s not here,” wen qing says after a long moment.

what can he even say? there are emotions he doesn’t have a name for digging a nest in the pit of his stomach. battering his ribcage. tearing into his beating heart.

“by the time i got to him,” he rasps, the words like brambles scraping against his throat, “it was–” –i was– “–too late.”

under the flickering candle-light, beidou is all languid grins and loose limbs. even here, in ningguang’s private chambers, beidou radiates sleek confidence.

ningguang lifts her hand to the handsome curve of beidou’s face, tracing the shadow of beidou’s eyepatch.

beidou lifts a questioning eyebrow.

“there was something on your cheek, that’s all,” ningguang says. her fingers linger for a moment longer.

laughing, beidou pushes her down onto the bed. “can’t have anyone think the great ningguang is sappy, huh?”

ningguang lets herself fall gracefully, a pleased smile curling up her lips. “i suppose you’d know a little something about that.”

(Military Prosecuer Doberman is still on my list but I've been in a show slump so I haven't watched it...yet 😭)

I totally understand wanting to watch the lighter shows, I was trying to find shows to watch but I wasn't feeling the darker ones. I think Signal was the darkest show in my opinion. I forget if we talked about it but either it's pretty haunting or I was in my Sensitive™ phase lol

I still need to watch Twenty Five Twenty One, Tomorrow, and Uncanny Encounter (along with like 100s of other kdramas) so I'll update you if when I do!

I've recently watched Life on Mars and The Killer's Shopping List and they're both a mixture of crime/mystery and comedy!

I really enjoyed Life on Mars but I still don't know how I feel about the ending. It's a good ending but there are some pretty heavy implications. Otherwise, it was like a found family crime show and it was great!

I really loved The Killer's Shopping List! It's so short (8 eps) and a lot of the actors stood out to me. They even had a plot line for one the characters that I really enjoyed (if I said it, I'd spoil it haha). There were some plot holes and some things were confusing but I adored the main character and a lot of the side characters.

a business proposal was soooo cute. i was not expecting it to be that cute. the last ep though was. like idk. the ending was every romcom ever written. the whole show was like that but the ending rlly got me laughing on how ridiculously cliche it was. how he gets to korea and off the car and proposes and etc. honestly jfesklfjsiofsjefklssjflsfkslsioefjesoi it was rlly funny. the ending of the second couple too, but idc cause they were cute.

prosecutor doberman was THAT show that i was not expecting to rlly enjoy and once i started i binge watched the whole thing 😑 dont get what it was but it put me thru hours of it without a single thought in my brain. thank u prosecutor doberman.

also attorney woo!!!!!!!!!! im watching it but my netflix is sooooo behind on the actual releases its a nightmare everyweek, having to fend off big spoilers. but yeah i do hope i like it to the end!!!! its so cute i cant stand it

lately ive been watching minamdang cafe (also very behind bc of my netflix), alchemy of the souls and attorney woo. its my go to serotonin for every new ep. also just started big mouth and its.... interesting. there's a brazilian drama that im 99% sure has the same basic plot but im curious to see where it heads.

also going a bit beyond the krama universe, if you have the opportunity to watch severance on apple tv, it's deeeeef worth the hype and time.

OH! and i just saw good detective is going for a round 2? i cant remember the s1 plot for the life of me but i remember watching it through the end. so i guess i have something else to look forward too now as well

So let me tell you: I started reading the manga but have yet to watch the anime 😭 it’s really good though and I’m probably gonna start it this week, but I’m not sure if I’m 100% confident in writing Sukuna. BUT this request was too good to pass up, so if you don’t like it I will write the other scenario instead just let me know!

So for these headcanons, I made it to where MC is Sukuna’s vessel like Yuji, and that they can manifest him if needed. But, I still kept it to where he’s not exactly a good guy with MC’s best interest at heart. Reader is gender neutral and younger than the Bros, so the dynamic is more family instead of romance just a heads up! Hope you enjoy!

He already had to make sure that you stayed alive during your stay and not disappoint Diavolo, but now he had to make sure that you kept this curse at bay too!

He’s very skeptical of you: not only because of you being a young human but also being a human with essentially a demon inside of you

A very troublesome demon if not kept under control at all times

Honestly Sukuna was like an buzzing gnat who wouldn’t just go away, so Lucifer didn’t see him as a threat personally. More of a nuisance that could grow into a threat if remained unchecked

After you explained the whole situation, he still assigned Mammon to you, but he made sure to personally keep an eye on you too

Your presence was seen as a threat at first, but as time passed, he, along with his brothers knew you meant no harm, but the same couldn’t be said for this Sukuna

He wanted to have faith in you, but he couldn’t bring himself to fully believe it. After an incident at RAD with another demon attempting to attack you, your powers (or rather Sukuna’s) came out to play

He saw the markings, the extra eyes, the malice spread on your face, and he then realized just how serious this has become. You were able to gain control back, but the damage was already done. You were so distraught, sobbing before you, trying to apologize and swearing that you didn’t mean for this to happen, all the while Sukuna was laughing, morphing a mouth on your cheek

It was so bizarre to see, and he couldn’t help but feel a pang of pity for you. You were such a kind person, always going out of the way to spend time and help wherever you could. You essentially became a part of the family, but he knew that you didn’t feel accepted because of him

After that, your “punishment” was to practice holding control over Sukuna with Lucifer, every day after school (which can just be seen as him checking in on you on a daily basis, and trying out different techniques to make sure repeats of this incident doesn’t happen again). Meaning that you trained on manifesting him at will, instead of him completely taking over

Not gonna lie he’s acting like a proud dad when he sees you making progress and Sukuna just sitting in your head tired of all this positivity lol

Lucifer cares for you, he’s accepted you fully even if you hadn’t for yourself. He wants to protect all of his family (including you), and he doesn’t want to think about what could happen if Sukuna becomes a danger to the Devildom or Diavolo...

Mammon

Is impressed but also low key nervous

Humans are not suppose to be like this, ya know!

He’s not the smartest demon in Hell, but he definitely knows that you can’t summon demons without a pact, and he knows your baby face doesn’t have one with the King of Curses

You had to break down the whole deal, and it made him even more confused and distressed

Was still acting annoyed being your designated babysitter, I mean seriously, just how annoying can you be?!

Just kidding! You guys are totally partners in crime in no time and you both make Lucifer get 2x the wrinkles now

“MC, let the Great Mammon show you how’s it done!”

“Mammon, you’re going to be the reason why we’ll be strung up again for the third time this week.”

“It’s going to be both of your idiots’ faults. Such a pathetic display.”

SHIT HE FORGOT YOU GOT A WHOLE CURSE INSIDE YOU

He HATES whenever Sukuna makes an appearance, whether you call on him or he makes his own special appearance. He’s like a gritty and more sadistic version of Lucifer, minus the style and uptight personality (and honestly the finesse too), which made him 10x the more aggravating

He honestly hates Sukuna in general. Here you are, his MC, one of the only people to stand up and defend him always, struggling to live a normal life because of him. It was bad enough that you got sent down here with no warning, but now you got sent with him, and from what Mammon could hear with the conversations between you two, he wasn’t exactly your BFF

Denies being excited about seeing you perform your cursed techniques, but only because it brings him out (and he guesses it’s a little cool that you know how to do it). But human, you don’t need that lame curse, you got the great demon himself to protect you!

On a darker note, you made Mammon swear to you that if Sukuna took over and you for some reason couldn’t gain back control, that he would protect himself and his brothers first before worrying about you. He hated this even coming up, you should be worrying about what’s the next scheme you guys could pull off, not some weird sharpie colored entity causing problems. But you were dead serious, and you made him promise that if the worst case scenario ever happened, he would make sure it’s taken care of

Mammon realized you were the missing piece to their family. It felt nice to have someone depend on him, to actually treat him with respect and care for him truly. He refused to accept Sukuna as a part of you (really he just acted like he didn’t exist, which he didn’t in his mind), and he refused to let him or anyone else harm you

You’re family now, and he wasn’t going to lose anyone else ever again

You broke it down to him, and you just...stared at you, with a blank expression on his face. Until-

You guys remember that vine with the kid saying, “I have the power of God and anime on my side”? Recreate that while doing your moves and he’ll be in awe and dying laughing at the same time

His envy will start to show at first. How is it that someone boring like you get to have all these cool powers and have an actual king reside in you?? You’re living the Shonen dream and not even grateful for it!

But this reality for him would soon shatter after he saw Sukuna for himself, and the way that he behaved towards you. The way that the curse would just look at with disdain in his eyes just made Levi’s skin crawl. He was made well aware that you were in fact not living the anime dream he thought you were. The look in your eyes reminded him of how he would feel whenever he felt like a scummy otaku, and from that point forward he would find ways to cheer you up

You can plan on having anime marathons, game nights, even talking with Henry (I hc that he can talk and understand aquatic animals) when you get into these moods. Anything that helps him get out of his funks he’s hoping it helps you too. You don’t deserve this type of treatment from anyone, especially someone that even he can no doubt eliminate

You were honestly one of the coolest people that he knows, and one of the strongest too! Not just physically, but mentally too. He can’t imagine what could be going on in your head since Sukuna became a part of you, but he knows that you’re strong enough to overcome anything that he throws at you. And if you had moments where you faltered or doubted yourself, that’s okay! Levi would be right beside you the whole way, doing anything he can to keep pushing you forward

Be the teen anime hero that he’s know you can be MC! You wouldn’t be his Henry if he didn’t have any faith in you, you know?

Bonus: you don’t have to worry about your anime nights being ruined after one night when Sukuna somehow found a spoiler to an anime that Levi was really anticipating became a very visual warning for the curse. Levi convinced you to let him take over, and whatever was said resonated with him because you never heard a peep after that, both out loud and in your head

Satan

Oh he was BEYOND fascinated

We all know how much Satan loves to read and how smart he is, so while you look at your condition as a curse (no pun intended), he saw it as an opportunity

Could you feel this curse coursing through your body? Did you feel stronger? Could he see through your eyes all the time or only when you let him? He had so many questions it wasn’t even funny

Very understanding of your situation surprisingly (but still called you dumb for eating Sukuna’s finger)

Satan would be one of the only people you could really trust when dealing with Sukuna. Yes, you trusted all of the brothers, but if you were really in a bind you could count on Satan to come up with a solution quickly

The only issue was his anger. Everyone knows just how angry he can get, and to avoid him ASAP if you even think he’s getting frustrated. Sukuna knows this too, and will be more than happy to taunt him to truly bring out his wrath. While he does need you alive (for now), it wouldn’t hurt to have some type of fun around here. Plus, this could cause your bonds with these brothers to weaken, and the weaker the bond, the weaker the will to help you keep him at bay and defeat him

But Satan knew better, and you did your best in keeping Sukuna away. He may be the Avatar of Wrath but that didn’t mean he was stupid. However, he did have one slip up unfortunately

You see, he was just having a bad day and already got into a spat with Lucifer, and you sensed that he certainly needed his space. So while you slowly backtracked to your room and from his path, Sukuna decided to be the evil ass that he is, and proceed to provoke him. What finally made him snap was his comment that, “You would be a formidable opponent if you weren’t in your older brothers’ shadow, but oh well. Can’t help who you come from I see.”

It took Beel, Mammon, and Lucifer to properly restrain him from ripping Sukuna (really you) limb from limb, with him laughing manically and you scrambling back in fear. Which called for a very long, detailed family meeting (of course after Satan fully calmed down) that resulted in mediated meetings between you and him for the next month. You felt guilty, you should have done better containing him, but you couldn’t predict whenever he decided to pop up!

But after a long talk, Satan didn’t blame you. He blamed himself for losing to his anger and especially blamed Sukuna. He decided that it was time to get rid of this pest once and for all. Be ready MC, cause once he puts his mind to something, there’s no stopping him

Prepare for your bonding time to be deep into books and practicing new hexes and curses. But don’t worry, it’s not always boring and Satan makes sure that you’re having some type of fun. He’s really doing this to have some sort of protection for you: whether it’s against Sukuna or himself. He wants you to know something besides your cursed techniques just in case they fail for some reason

Will shockingly want you to manifest the curse, one main reason is to obviously collect information on him, the other reason is to test said hexes and curses on him

Can a curse be cursed? Let’s find out

You helped Satan with him realizing that anger isn’t the only emotion that you can feel, and with you being so young, he wanted you to experience life as much as you can. And while you had an extra...passenger with you, he will do his best to make sure that it doesn’t get in the way of you enjoying life. It was nice to see a joyous smile on your face

Also you guys did find a hex that made Sukuna meow for the whole day and it was the best thing to ever happen with him lmao

Asmodeus

Honestly wasn’t really bothered with it at first. If anything, he treated it like hot gossip when you told him in the beginning

One thing he will say though: humans can be so revolting at times. I mean you ate a rotten finger, a cursed, aged, sharp, disgusting- you get the point. He did cringe at that, but everything else was pretty normal besides that

Still talked about your daily gossip, painted nails, the works. But recently, Sukuna’s name has been coming up more and more in your recent convos. Asmo, being quite the messy curious demon, wanted to know more about this curse

He really treated Sukuna like he was just your show and tell act and would want you to bring it out to see how he really was. He was amused with your cursed techniques, but he wanted to see more!

He heard you both talking with one another, and he wanted to see him in person! He hasn’t done anything and you’re among the seven strongest in Hell, so what could go wrong?

So much. So much could go wrong

And so much went wrong

After you manifested him, it went downhill from there. The large amount of control you did show caught his attention, but then it moved to the King of Curses himself. He was very delighted to see him up close for more than a couple of seconds, and took his time admiring his physique up close. It was fun for him, but not for you. Sukuna could feel your will slipping since your focus was being divided dealing with Asmo, so he took this as his time to shine

You had an exhausting day, and you were tired, which he used to his advantage. Asmo started to complain when Sukuna suddenly disappeared, but didn’t have a chance to voice it as your arm suddenly gripped the front of his shirt. He felt himself jolt, feeling his heart pumping. He looked into your eyes and realized that this wasn’t you, this was now Sukuna. The black markings that lined your face along with the new eye color (and the extra pair of eyes) came with a grin that stretched across your face

“What’s the matter? You were so eager to be in my presence, is it not to your liking now that the tables have turned? You claim to be one of the strongest, yet I would be able to kill you just being in this form-Ah, the brat is trying to come back, what a shame. Do me a favor, little Asmodeus, don’t insult me like this again. I am a King, and you will remember that. I might have to pay you another visit and take your heart with me next time to make sure you’re aware of that.”

He didn’t give Asmo time to answer, as his grip loosened and you were back. He saw you stumbling, shook out of his own thoughts and reached to catch you. He knew that this curse was an issue, but he didn’t understand just how serious this was, how serious it had gotten so quickly. The thought of Sukuna didn’t scare him, but the promise of him coming back just for him caused some worry. He wasn’t the weakest, but he didn’t want to hurt you! As much as he couldn’t stand his new found scorn of Sukuna, it wasn’t enough for him to take the chance of injuring you

You didn’t strike fear in him, rather the opposite. To see someone he has grown to care about be the one to try and bring his demise was...saddening. He could just feel his heart breaking at the notion. And if this experience taught him one thing is to be more understanding of what you’re going through

You remembered bits and pieces of the incident, and whenever you asked Asmo about it, he would divulge a tad in what happened, but wouldn’t go into too much detail. He didn’t want you blaming yourself, and he didn’t want you to distance yourself from him either. You already proven yourself of formindable you are ever since you gotten down here, and Asmo wasn’t going to let some jealous wannabe demon get in the way of that!

So no more talk of the thing, and whenever it did want to make an unsuspecting visit, Asmo would be ready. The thing was immune to most curses, but that didn’t mean that he couldn’t be charmed to some extent, right?

Has covered the eye slits up with makeup and other beauty products every morning, becomes both of your favorite bonding activity. Anything to erase any evidence of it existing and to hear your giggles brightens his day everytime!

Is another brother that tries to keep an eye on you. If this Sukuna really is as dangerous as you make him out to be, then he would make sure to be prepared if things went south

Will want you to practice your moves with him. Beel’s pretty powerful, and on muscles alone is one of the strongest brothers. He wants to make sure that you can recognize your full potential, and to always do your best. Expect to be in the gym or the HoL’s backyard working out and training majority of the week

Is thoroughly impressed with your cursed techniques

Beel doesn’t understand that while yes, you have a whole curse residing in you, doesn’t make you less of a human. He forgets that you still have some limitations, and you have to remind him at least twice a week. You gotten more powerful yes, but you still weren’t at Beel’s level

“You can do it MC! Don’t give up!”

“Beel this is over 500 pounds...are you forgetting that I’m still HUMAN-”

But you can never stay mad at him, he’s just too sweet and he means well. He genuinely wants you safe and prepared if anything happens with Sukuna, and if getting you buffed up makes him feel somewhat at ease, then you’ll deal with it

Shares his food with you sometimes. He makes sure that you eat properly too, so no skipping out on meals!

Great listener! Whether you’re complaining about class, talking about a new restaurant you’re interested in (he’s definitely tuned in), or venting about Sukuna, he’s all ears. Even gives you advice if you ask for it or if you really need it

Has encountered Sukuna while he took over your body once, and let me tell you, he was not happy at all

Beel is one of the brothers that are in touch with his emotions; he doesn’t really fly off the handle into a rage unless someone has done something to his family or if he’s being denied food. But now that you’re family and vulnerable not only to other demons but to this curse inhabiting your body, he wasn’t taking any chances

He made sure to be very clear when talking with Sukuna. He wouldn’t stand for anything happening to you, and he made sure that the curse would wish he stayed scattered if that boundary was crossed

Beel is a very protective big brother that’s constantly looking out for you all the time. Even if you feel like that you need to bare this burden on your own, he makes sure that you never feel alone.

He already lost Lilith, and he doesn’t want to lose you too. He won’t mess up this time

See, he knew that there was something wrong with humans, and you were living proof of that

How can you trust humans not knowing if they have another creature living within them?!

Whatever, he’s too sleepy to even care about it

And you weren’t one of the worst so...he guesses that you’re tolerable, but don’t push it!

In the beginning, he thought it was easy to manipulate you, but he could just sense that something wasn’t right with you (and no, it wasn’t because you were just human). He would hear you talking aloud to yourself, except that you were...responding to yourself too?

He thought you finally cracked up lmao

He brought it up as a joke once, but the way you reacted was tense and...ashamed? Oh, he just hit a gold mine. This could make things much more interesting. You shared a little bit of your story with this so called “King of Curses”, but he was smart enough to make a plan off of the information. Maybe he could take advantage of Sukuna like he is of you. Kill two birds with one stone

Well his plan backfired swiftly. After he was freed from the attic and went straight in for the kill, things went array. His hands were wrapped around your neck, he could-should see the life leaving your eyes, but instead he was met with Sukuna’s gaze. Belphie thought he planned this right, he made sure that he didn’t give you enough time to manifest him or to use your curse techniques, so how was this-

“You think I don’t recognize the look of bloodlust, you spoiled child? You were foolish enough to believe that you could get rid of me this easily like the brat?!”, and he was sent flying across the room. How was this happening, this wasn’t suppose to happen!-

“As much as I would like to see them die, they’re useful to me for the time being. Once they are of no use anymore, the only one who will be relishing in their demise is me. They’ll be dying by my hand, not by some weakened child.”

Those words still resonated with him still to this day. Honestly, the whole incident did. No matter how many times he tried to convince himself that you forgiven him and want to build a real bond together, his mind refused to erase that horrid memory, and he deserved it. When Belphie remembers back to that day, he remembers the horrified and heart breaking looks on his brothers’ faces, the way that your eyes show how betrayed and petrified, and how you were gasping out begging him to stop, before he comes out and puts everyone in danger

He felt disgusting, guilty, mortified, regretful, a disappointment. Those feelings only escalated after having them explain the truth to him, both about yourself and being a descendent of his dead sister. He could see how much you touched his family, and you extended that kindness to him too, and he just exploited it

He stayed far away from you for a very long time. He didn’t try to approach you at all, only staying in the planetarium or even the attic, to avoid crossing paths with you. He didn’t deserve to make a connection with you like his older brothers, as much as he wanted to. He was remorseful, it wasn’t because of the whole Lilith revelation, but because you really didn’t deserve that happening to you

You made the first move to make amends, to have a fresh start, and he couldn’t have been more grateful, albeit nervous. He was so terrified of messing things up again, but you were there to help keep him grounded. “I won’t lie to say that what you did was okay, but I’m willing to move on from it. You aren’t completely forgiven, but we can work towards fixing things, together.”

Belphie was shaken by Sukuna’s words, but he wasn’t necessarily scared of him. In fact, he would personally find a way to cast him out of your body and destroy him permanently as the perfect apology and thank you gift; the thank you for reuniting him with his family, and for helping them develop healthy relationships with one another. They weren’t as separate as before, and it made him feel so warm every time he thought about it

Not that he would ever say that to anyone

You both spent time together either napping or plotting for future LYS (Lucifer You Suck) pranks. And since Belphie is pretty good with magic himself, he would be teaching you some new spells or curses that you could use to protect yourself, even against the curse inside you

Belphie will make sure to not make another huge mistake when it comes to you ever again. He’ll have his little slip ups, but you were never put into harms way because of them. He doesn’t want to sabatoge this bond, and he wants you to truly be happy spending time with him. He’s not the greatest role model (obviously) and may be tight lipped about how he feels most of the time, but he really does have your best interests at heart

Hello! I wanted to rec a fic on ao3 called "Restoration" by jelenedra. It's complete, an alternate universe of the sunshot campaign told nonlinearly. It has strong fairy tale and fae elements, with a touch of mystery. Bit of a fix it. Some delightful one liners, and the final ending imagery is just LOVELY. The fic deserves much more love. There's also some YilingWei, wwx not raised by Jiang, and sentient Burial Mounds elements. Enchanting read that keeps you enthralled and curious and intrigued.

Author's been through a tough time so I think it deserves a lot more love.

For new readers, please mind the warnings in the prologue and the beginning of each chapter! it’s omegaverse and a very heavy read as it deals with (possible spoiler) off-screen rape that results in an unwanted pregnancy, as well as secondary gender oppression which runs deep, but for people who can bear it the writing, worldbuilding, and emotions are truly spectacular.

Also something I forgot to add a lot of the house decision part of this post was inspired by another post I read on tumblr where Harry belongs to all the houses. I couldn’t find it, so if it’s your post (or you know who it is) lmk so I can give you credit!

- “Their mother was in my house-“ McGonagall starts

- “And their father was in mine, I have equal claim” Snape cuts in

- “Let’s not forget that before that, historically, they came from a long line of Ravenclaws” Flitwick adds

- “Oh tosh, this is a kind child if I ever saw one, did you see the way they were reassuring the other children- even Cedric apparently-“ Professor Sprout adds

- So she’s heard about that

- “What has that got to do with anything?” Snape snaps

- You’re not sure what’s weirder

- The fact that the sorting hat couldn’t decide where you belonged

- Or that all the heads of each house are fighting over who gets you

- Honestly with how well the whole situation was handled in front of everyone else you didn’t think something like this would happen

- Dumbledore silenced everyone, and said it would be discussed afterwards

- You watched each child get sorted in their appropriate house

- And afterwards, while everyone was feasting, you were lead away by Dumbledore and his four house heads to his office

- You’re not really sure what’s there to fight about-

- Honestly they should probably be fighting over who has to take you with how much trouble you’ll be.

- “Enough!” Dumbledore shouts and the four are immediately silenced

- And then he looks at you and you feel your hair stand on end

- “I believe it only natural, in this situation, that they get to choose which house they wish to be apart of”

- Snape blanches at the mention

- “But sir-“

- “That is my decision” he says with an air of finality and none of the others protest when his attention sweeps back to you

- “So which will it be?”

- You Blanche

- “Isn’t there some sort of quiz - or test I could take instead headmaster-“

- “There is not”

- You feel yourself sweating

- “Well-“ you start

- Ravenclaw was your initial choice, it’s the safest

- But then, if you were in Gryffindor you could be friends with Fred and George

- And if you went to Slytherin, you might be able to knock some sense into those blood obsessed freaks, not to mention Blaise in there

- But then- Hufflepuff isn’t looking too bad either, and Cedric seems to like you. It would be nice to have someone older looking out for you

- “How am I supposed to decide?”

- The words escape you without realizing and you see all the professors flinch at your words

- “What do you-“ Snape starts with a hiss, but Dumbledore stops him with a wave of a hand

- “And what do you mean by that child?”

- You gulp

- “Well-“

- You take a deep breath looking into his twinkling eyes

- “I want to be brave-“ you see McGonagall swell from the corner of your eye

- “But I also want to to be kind-“ she deflated and professor Sprout stands a bit taller “And wise and ambitious”

- “I want them all, how am I supposed to pick just one trait and make it my defining characteristic? People are nuanced, they’re more than just one thing”

- Everyone in the room stiffens at your words, and feeling as if you might have said something terribly rude you rush to make amends-

- “So if there’s some sort of trial, or-“

- “Alright we’ll do that then” Dumbledore says with an air of finality and you feel baffled

- “Do what sir?”

- “A trial period of course, a month in each house.”

- .

- .....

- .........

- (Y/N).exe is broken

- “Headmaster that’s completely-“

- “What kind of impression will-“

- “-nothing like that is stated in the handbook”

- “Think of the other students Albus!”

- They’re all shouting over each other, but you understand the basic sentiment

- This is pretty out there, even for a magic school

- “I have decided” Dumbledore doesn’t even say it all that loud, but the other four immediately clamor up

- “We’ll start alphabetically, with Gryffindor and work our way through”

- Huh?

- You’re mind is only just start to repair itself, assessing the situation

- Well it’s not exactly a bad deal now is it?

- In a way you’ve gotten exactly what you wanted

- But the anxiety of having to make a choice looms over you

- “Well, come now I’ll show you the way-“ and so you chase after the strict lithe woman as you follow her to the Gryffindor Common Room

- The other two shuffle out, but Snape stays

- “You’re just doing this because you’re bored aren’t you?” Snape asks

- Dumbledore shrugs

- “Can you blame me? It’s been so long since anything interesting has happened”

- “You say that like one of the Weasley boys doesn’t cause trouble every other week”

- You follow McGonagall down several poorly lit hallways, making mental note of the a few choice paintings, hoping to remember them for later

- “The password this year is “chartreuse” “ she tells you

- And just like magic the portrait swings open, and several hands emerge from the inky depths to grab onto your arm and pull you inside

- The portrait door shutting close

- McGonagall sighs

- “Children will be children I suppose”

- A small smile curling onto her mouth and walked to her chambers

- You would have half a mind to be afraid, if the second you made it inside you didn’t see fireworks and pert poppers popping

- “Welcome to Gryffindor,” the boy on your right, Fred says

- “We knew you’d end up here” George finishes

- Everyone is i the common room, and they all congratulate you, happy to have you in their house

- The room is as big as a banquet hall, full of dark red rugs and gold tapestry’s

- A little gaudy if you’re being honest

- Like something out of a Harry Potter themed room in a pottery barn catalogue

- But that’s probably the point

- “So how did it all go down?” Fred asks, sitting on your right side on a red couch in front of the fire

- “Did Minnie manage to convince you?”

- “Oi they didn’t need convincin’ Fred, we’re clearly the superior house”

- “Well you see, it’s not quite official”

- They look at you with wide eyes as you recount the tale

- You almost feel bad bursting their bubble, especially when they’re being so nice to you

- But when you’re done they both sport identical grins, twinkles in their eyes

- “That’s wicked” they say in unison

- You grin

- You think you’re going to like it here

- The twins basically monopolize the rest of your night, asking for your input on pranks

- “If it were me-“ you start, their eyes on you with rapt attention

- “I would brew some amortentia and give it to Filch-“

- “And make him fall in love with Snape!” George says like you’ve just said the most brilliant thing

- You shake your head

- “I would give it to the cat- Mrs. Noriss, And make her fall in love with something crazy, like a dog- it’s that subtle annoyance that makes it all the more satisfying”

- The both grin

- “So when are we doing it?” Fred asks

- “Doing what?”

- “Brewing the love potion of course”

- You grin

- Yeah, you’re really going to like it here

Your flat out refusal made Luffy frown and pout at you. “Whyyy?” He dragged out the end, whining at how quickly you rejected him.

“Luffy, I already said no, stop whining.”

“Why nottt? It’ll be funnn! I used to do it with Ace and Sabo all the time when we were kids!” Luffy furrows his brows at you as he sat up and crossed his arms, tilting his head.

“That’s different! I can’t just do it with you!” Your cheeks flushed as you stared at him incredulously. “Don’t you have any common sense?!”

“You’re thinking too much. You sometimes bathe with Robin and Nami, right? It’s the same thing!”

You choke on your spit at his argument and scoff in disbelief. “You’re unbelievable.” You huff, turning away and going to finish what you were doing.

“You’re a guy, I’m a girl, you do understand the problem here, right?” You exhale, rubbing your temples at your captain and significant other.

Sure, you two were dating, but you haven’t even gotten to that kind of level yet. You were pretty far from it.

“What are you afraid of? It’s not going to kill you to just take a bath with me together! I can scrub your hair and you can scrub mine! It’ll be funnnn!”

Luffy continued to whine and complain to you, following after you into the kitchen, your annoyance level slowly rising.

Luffy, noticing your silence, pouts once more before bowing 90° and pressed his hands together in a prayer motion.

“Please, do it with me! Just once!”

You’d glare daggers at him, your cheeks still warm before you exhale heavily after him.

“..fine. I’m wearing a swimsuit though, and YOU BETTER TOO!” You shout at him, Luffy looking up with wide eyes, excitement running through them.

He’d grin widely before nodding eagerly. “Sure! Let’s go!” He stretches his arm to grab your hand and began dragging you out.

“Wait, right now?!”

“Of course!”

“Luffy, stop moving, you’re shifting all the bubbles in the water and you’re going to make it— LUFFY!”

The rubber male would only laugh heartily at you as he pulls back his arms and sits still for you, so you can finish scrubbing his hair.

“Shishishi~ sorry [Name]. Look at all the bubbles though!” He says, pointing at the moving bubbles in the water.

You’d only sigh and soften your expression slightly, nodding at him. “Yeah.”

As much as you didn’t like the idea of bathing with Luffy, being significant others or not, you actually didn’t mind it that bad.

Admittedly, you were enjoying yourself.

Luffy, fortunately listened to you, and wore swim trunks before he came in. You were in your bathing suit, both sitting in the warm bath together now.

Making sure it was fully scrubbed up with soap, you pull your hands away from Luffy’s head of hair and smile slightly. “I’m done, Luffy.”

Luffy pulls away and smiles at you, nodding. “Let me do you now!” About to protest, Luffy already inserted some shampoo onto his hand and waited patiently for you, making you sigh once more in defeat before turning around so your backed faced him.

“Thanks for joining me in my bath, [Name]!” Luffy grins, started to soap up your hair and scrub it. It was a bit of a sloppy mess, but he did his best.

“Sure, Luffy. I’m actually enjoying myself... maybe we can do this again.” You say softly, smiling a bit to yourself as you close your eyes.

Luffy’s smile softens itself as he continued to wash your hair, his mind reminiscing in memories of Ace and Sabo a bit.

“I hope we do this more often... Ace, Sabo and I used to do it all the time.” Luffy mumbles quietly to himself, his smile becoming sadder as he thought about his brothers.

Hearing the sadness in his voice, you slowly pull away and turn, confusing Luffy. “E-Eh, I’m not done, [Name].”

You don’t say anything, just turning to face him before smiling brightly and reach up to his still shampooed and soapy hair, messing with it and bringing the bubbles up.

Luffy would be confused before finally seeing what you did to his hair, it being a completely different style thanks to the soap used as gel.

He’d laugh aloud immediately, the sight being hilarious to himself as he’s also equally amazed. “Woah, look [Name]!” He’d change it up and give himself devil horns, laughing more at it.

You’ll smile at his laughter, glad he was already feeling better and even laugh a bit yourself as Luffy goes to mess with your hair as well.

Soon, it’ll turn into a contest of who could give the other the wackiest hairstyle with soap, which results in no winner, due to Luffy becoming exhausted in the water.

“Come on, let’s get you dried up.”

After washing off all the soap on your bodies, you’d step out and wrap a towel around your shoulders, before helping Luffy out and let him dry himself.

You’ll turn to him and smile warmly before heading off to get changed in your room.

“This was actually kind of fun, Luffy. Let’s do it again next time.”

Got into fashion due to her maternal grandmother who seemed to live a extravagant life as a old time actress, she always had and owned the finest of things

Jen loved having sleepovers there, it felt like she had her own personal Liz Taylor inside of her nan...but better!

she had no clue what she wanted to do in life (she never had to think too hard about it until now, it’s true what they say about your twenties) and she made the choice not to continue thru with uni & I’m not going to make her out to be the stereotypical “dumb blonde” I think she did well in school—so she kinda just chilled after it was all over

Her first job at 20 was probably working in retail where she learned all about the bs you put up with but she loved clothes! That never changed

So she decided 6 months into her job that she was going to make a fashion blog

she made one separate from her tumblr but kept it under construction since she needed to brain storm what exactly this blog would entail

It didn’t take too long to her to figure it out by how she wanted the blog to look then discussing pieces from celebs/models then slowly discussing her own wardrobe + advice

She didn’t immediately gain success for it —altho she did have a good 1k people follow her thru her tumblr where she also provided the link to her separate blog... but she worked/works hard at it, hoping one day it’ll get her somewhere and that maybe she can get paid for it too?

Retail fucking sucks and people are horrible twats so when she was approaching 21 she deff quit with her parents still hammering...more so her dad on what she needs to do with her life but she found happiness in her blog and no one was going to take that away from her —not even her parents

‘What’s the use of working if it doesn’t make you happy?’ She thinks but again! she has the privilege of living under her parents roof and not having to pay bills so she didn’t have to worry too much rn she knows they’d never kick her out right?

I feel like she values the flinstones & jetsons because it was something her dad loved watching as a kid and still does , probably has the dvds showcased in her room that she watches when she feels sad

Seems like a smiley person but when she’s sad? It kinda sucks to see cause she turns into a whole different person and she always seems happy with a smile so wide that turns her eyes squinty

Her mother even went as far as sending a nasty letter to this ex bf’s new address...since ya know? jen’s dad is a private investigator & all!!! but dad had no knowledge of this being done

She’s still fond of Levi and jake but not like in love with them? Like she thought/felt she was with Tim but she still considers them her mates

Maybe in 2021 she’ll be open to dating again and hopes erikah and Allegra will be her wingwomen when the time comes BUT she’s focusing on her blog rn and it’s the best it’s ever been!

She had the show to thank for that now that she has a manager and is getting paid for running her blog now! That’s right this girl is officially employed!

So, I deleted my other account.

I’m in a very bad space right now. I won’t get too into it. But it’s a very complicated mix of deep-seeded family issues, the economic issues of my state, & overall adult stuff. The best way I can describe the torment I’m going through is: growing up.

I’m 19, I’m at a time in my life where the need for independence & individualism is at it’s peak. But, I never knew how to achieve these things. I still don’t really know. Since I was 12, I’ve based some things off of what people did on the internet. Since, that’s all I had. And obviously, as we all see, sometimes that doesn’t work out well. The best way I can describe the feeling is knowing everything is out of your control, seeing someone’s attempt at control & being fairly successful, and then trying it yourself to have it blowup in your face. And this isn’t just an internet thing for me, but it happens the most here. I’ve basically been copying my peers in an attempt to be “normal”. I don’t have a complete grip on why some people do things & why things work. I don’t think anyone does. But for some reason, it makes me feel valuable and emotional on top of being frustrating. So I do apologize for my sometimes irrational behavior.

Honestly, I’m hesitant to post this. I’m starting to learn that sharing EVERYTHING on the internet is unhealthy. But, people sharing their experiences have helped me formed opinions, ideals, etc. It’s weird. Maybe we’ll understand this specific part of “internet culture” in 100 years. I hope so. For all the future 19 year olds.

Anyways, I’m off topic. I’m posting this to say, that this account is in limbo. I might come back eventually. I don’t know. But, no offense, if I do I would like to keep this name. So that’s all this account is, a name-holder. Sorry if I got anyone’s hopes up, if anyone even sees this.

Personally, I would like to come back one day. With new & improved art, new and improved Kat. Because, it is very hard for me to de-attach myself from the wonderful people who cared so much for me. When I go through a rough time, I always forget that people care. It’s hard to describe. Basically, the nice words don’t go unnoticed, I’m just weird.

Anyways, the real reason I made this post is because I was checking my email and saw this ask someone sent before I deleted the OG coochie-puncher account. It really made smile, and I wanted to somehow thank this anon. Sometimes it’s the nice anons that help real me back from my own head.

I completely forgot to mention the old art at all. So, not all of my art is lost. I’ve always saved the original file, or at the very least the original png. Luckily, I wasn’t repost popular, so deleting everything is mildly successful. Unless, there’s other factors I haven’t thought of, but I don’t care enough honestly.

I’ve always had a complicated relationship with my art, which ties into the on the internet, learning how to be a person thing. Basically, I’ve drawn since I was ??, I see these people online doing it and getting famous, so for awhile I thought that was the goal? It sounds dumb, and it’s embarrassing. But it happened. So, during this break, I’m hoping to reconnect with my passion, which will hopefully help me reconnect with myself. Who knows? I definitely don’t lol.

Also, I will be trying to find & follow old mutuals. If you are one of those people, feel completely free to contact me if you like. I have a private discord sever that I wouldn’t mind letting mutuals in.

…hi.Lol. 🤗 But seriously, how is everyone? Well…I’ve been gone for quite some time, huh? I literally have had so much irl stuff going on these past years (especially the recent years- 2020, anyone?) that I just didn’t have time or efforts to post anything. That and I forgot about this tumblr at times, oops 🤭I’m currently doing well and yes, I still have these weird kinks (I’ve accepted the fact that I will always have a fart/poop/burp fetish and even though I haven’t been writing, I always find myself reading some good stuff every once in a while). Even though he barely knew the guy (other than what was based on the idol's social media, his best friend Yuuri's obsession with skating coach/competitor/fiance and his own few handfuls of personal interactions) he could pretty much say that the silver-haired Russian was perfect.A little TOO perfect.Perfect enough that it made Phichit want to know if there were other sides to The Perfect Victor Nikiforov.So while Phichit was on break, (Yakov generously gave Celestino permission to share the rink- although it could have definitely have been because of Yuuri and that his smol son was 110% the Russian coach's favorite student) and said traitor of a best friend had abandoned him to go hang it with Russian Yuri (Phichit's not hurt by this at all, nope) the Thai skater decide that this was the best time to get to know Victor better.You know, for friendly purposes. I’ve mapped out the rest of this fic, and I don’t know whether to apologize or not. This is my second time posting this, because Tumblr decided to take it down. Hopefully this one stays up! Your POV

Once you were able to wrap your head around what was happening, you put your hand on his chest and stopped him. You really didn’t want to, but you had to. He looked down at you with a smile on his face, but the longer you stared at him, the smile started to disappear. “I-I’m sorry,” he said, starting to back away.

“Javi,” you said.

But he started to turn to leave. You grabbed him by the shirt with both of your hands and turned him to face you, kissing him back until you had his attention. You stopped, but continued to hold his shirt in your fists. “Can I talk now?” You asked, frustrated.

He ran his tongue over his swollen bottom lip and smiled, but said nothing. Distracted, you couldn’t think of what you wanted to say. You were so focused on his presence in such close quarters that you forgot any semblance of an adult conversation you wanted to have with him upon his return. Instead, you just leapt into his arms again, wrapping your arms around his neck and kissed him with the same ferocity he kissed you. He pushed you away for a second and leaned his forehead against yours. “I thought you had something to say,” Javi laughed.

“Shut up and kiss me.”

You pulled his face back down to yours. You opened your mouth for him to deepen his kiss. He pulled at your robe, allowing it to fall open far enough that he could run his hands up and down your sides leaving chills in their wake. You placed your hands under his jacket and helped him quickly remove it, tossing it into your room. Javi’s kisses traveled down your jawline and neck as he nipped and bit at your collarbone. You sighed as you ran your fingers through his hair. You felt his hands move to your back as he ran them down and cupped you making you yelp and laugh just a little. He smiled against your skin as he used this leverage to lift you, throwing your legs around his waist. Javi leaned over to your shower and shut it off, while maintaining a firm grip. Holding on tight around his waist, you brought his mouth back to yours and you kept kissing him as he led you back into your bedroom.

You both fell back on your bed laughing for a brief moment before your mouths found each other again. He let his hands explore your body. You let out a sigh. God, it had been a long time since you felt a man’s touch, especially by one you’ve grown to care about. Javi’s hand lightly moved across your breast, causing you to arch your back. “Javi,” you breathed.

“¿Qué quieres que haga? Mi hermosa,” he whispered kissing her neck.

You let your hands travel down his body and stopped at his belt, trying to undo it. He stopped you and stood up, removing his blue button down first. You hungirly bit your bottom lip as you gazed at the gorgeous man in front of you. You scooted to the end of your bed and grabbed him by the belt, pulling him forward. You peppered kisses across his abdomen and just above his pantline, forcing him to let out a deep, soft growl. He leaned down to kiss you again before removing his pants. You took the opportunity to slide out of your robe, and you heard him gasp, looking at your body in a way that made you feel wanted. Blushing, you tried to cover yourself, but he grabbed your arms to stop you. “No, mi hermosa. You don’t need to hide. You are the most beautiful...” He leaned down and kissed you again. “You are perfect.”

You felt a few tears form in your eyes as you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him down on top of you. He was careful not to crush you, but you didn’t care. You wanted all of him right now. “Javi?” you said grabbing his face. “Can you do something for me?”

“Anything,” he breathed.

“Make me forget,” she added, “make me forget my heart was ever broken and I ever lived a life before this moment.”

He leaned down and kissed away the two tears on your cheeks. “Mi hermosa,” he whispered. He kissed your jaw and moved down your neck as his hands traveled farther south on your body. They hovered right between your legs, but he stopped and looked at you for permission.

“Sí,” you smiled, “yo estoy tu hermosa. Solo tuyo, mi Javi.”

He let his fingers slide between you as you let out a loud moan as the sudden stimulation. “Solo tuyo.”

You started to close your eyes, but Javi stopped you and whispered, “Mírame, Y/N.”

Your fingers dug into his back, and you looked into his eyes. You both were looking deep into each other’s eyes as he continued to toy with and tease you. He rubbed circles on your clit, massaging you to the point of madness. You felt yourself on the brink and you reached down to stop him, even though he continued. “Javi, te necesito.”

You bit your bottom lip to suppress a moan and smiled. You ground your hips into his to answer his question. He rolled over so you were in his lap, as he held you close to him, kissing your jaw, neck, collarbone, breasts. You moved slow at first drawing out of him low moans. His breathing picked up pace with each rock of your hips. You felt him help you as he thrust into you. You arched your back and he kissed your chest. His soft, silky skin felt good against yours, and even better inside of you. He wrapped his hands around your waist as he moved with you. “Javi,” you moaned.

He moaned your name in return as the two of you began to pick up pace. You started to tighten even more around him as you felt yourself coming close. He hissed and moaned, telling you he was close. He rolled you back under him, taking each thrust slow at first, grinding his hips against yours when he filled you. You dug your fingers into his back and felt your toes curl. “Come for me, hermosa,” he said, licking his thumb and placing it on your clit to create more friction.

You let out a much louder moan. You looked into his eyes as he rubbed you in circles at the same pace as his thrusts. You pulled him to you, wrapping your legs around him as he began to move faster. His moans and breathing picked up as both of you came to the end. You felt your body clench around him and you cried out in euphoric pleasure. He continued his thrusts as you came again, before he finally had his release.

Javi balanced himself on his forearms above you and kissed you softly before nuzzling his nose against you. “Mi perfecta hermosa.” He rolled his side and pulled you against him. You rested your arm on his chest as you lightly ran your nails on him.

His POV

He had his arm wrapped around her, holding her close. He was afraid that if he let her go, he’d wake up from this dream. He looked down at her and felt his heart swell. He’d never been so happy in his entire life than he was in this moment. She moved to where she was laying on his chest, as she looked down into his eyes. She smiled at him and kissed his nose. Then she kissed each cheek before finally kissing his lips. “Now what?” she asked.

He sighed. “I didn’t think I’d actually get this far,” he laughed.

Y/N kissed him again. “Do you have to go in today? Or is it another ‘Steve’s got it covered, so I can be late’ type of day?”

He laughed. “I can always pull the ‘I stayed up all night writing a report for you assholes’ card.” She leaned into him and kissed him deeper again. His heart was beating so loud in his ears as he held her close. “I just want to stay here, in your arms.”

She ran her fingers through his hair to smooth it out and he felt his exhaustion fall over him. When his eyes closed, he felt her curl up at his side, wrapping her arms tightly around him.

He must have drifted off, because he was startled by a loud banging on her bedroom door. “Peña, we gotta fucking go!” he heard Steve on the other side.

She startled awake as well, looking up at him. Her eyes lit up when he looked down at her. Javi lightly kissed her before rolling off the bed to grab his clothes.

Steve pounded on the door again. “Shit’s hit the fan, Peña. Move!”

He turned to face her. “I’m sorry, mi hermosa.”

She grabbed her robe and sighed. “I understand.”

After putting his pants on and grabbing his shirt, he leaned down and kissed her. “I have to be a fool to leave right now.”

Steve beat on the door. “Peña!”

Javi made sure your robe was secured before yanking the door open. “What the fuck do you want?” he asked.

“Escobar. There was an attack.”

She rose and joined Peña in the doorway, wrapping her arm around him. Instinctively, he pulled her closer to him. “What happened?” his voice deepened as he realized the severity of the situation.

“There was an attack on a plane. A bomb made it on board the flight that Gaviria was supposed to be on.”

“Fuck,” he said. He felt her arms tighten around him, almost as if she knew. She knew he was blaming himself, beating himself up over the senseless violence. She was keeping him grounded, reminding him that this was not his fault. He was a good man, and was doing everything he could to end this. He turned to her and kissed the top of her head. “I’ll be back tonight.”

“And then we can talk?” she smiled, giving him a wink.

“You mean didn’t do that already?” Steve dryly added.

“Fuck you, Murphy,” they said together.

“I don’t even know how to respond to that.” He motioned at the two of them standing with the same annoyed expression.

Javi pulled his shirt on and buttoned up. She ran into her room and returned with his jacket. He smiled at the small gesture and kissed her. “I’ll bring dinner for you and Kate.”

“Shit,” she said, looking around her apartment. “Where is she?”

Steve laughed. “She’s down the hall with Connie.”

“Not anymore!” she exclaimed. “Do you mean to tell me you guys fucked and had no second thought about my whereabouts? Had no idea I was gracious enough to excuse myself?”

Javi and Y/N blushed and looked at each other. “Sorry,” Javi replied.

“Peña, we gotta go. NOW!”

“Cuidate, mi Javi hermoso.”

“Siempre, mi perfecta hermosa.” He kissed her deeply one last time before pulling himself away from her and out of the door. They both jogged down the stairs and hopped in Peña’s Jeep.

“Did you even sleep?” Steve asked as they backed out of the garage and started making their way to the embassy.

Peña ignored him.

“What time did you leave last night?”

He looked at his watch and saw it was 9:00 AM. “Three hours ago.”

Steve tried to stifle a laugh and failed. He looked out the window and shook his head. “I guess you have your priorities straightened out then,” he said.

“Fuck off, Murphy.”

Steve slapped his shoulder. “I’m happy for you, man. Really. We were wondering if she would ever be able to move on.”

He felt his heart swell as he remembered what she said to him:

“Can you do something for me?”

“Anything,” he breathed.

“Make me forget,” she added, “make me forget my heart was ever broken and I ever lived a life before this moment.”

He smiled at the memory and turned on the radio just a bit. “Rhiannon” started playing over the speakers in his Jeep. It took Peña back to when she leaned back in the passenger seat singing this song. She was in a concert tee and short shorts that made it hard for him to concentrate on the road.

“Sí,” she smiled, “yo estoy tu hermosa. Solo tuyo, mi Javi.”

“I have to be out of my mind to let you drag me away right now,” he said, annoyed.

Steve laughed again and shook his head. “She’s going to have you domesticated before long. Any t-shirts or sweatshirts you love, you might as well hand over. They’re hers now.”

“She can have whatever she wants.” She already owns my body and soul, he thought to himself.

“You say that now. The second she starts stealing all the covers and half the mattress, don’t come crying to me,” he chided.

Peña pulled into the Embassy lot and turned to Murphy. “All I know is if I don’t make it home tonight, she might hunt me down. We didn’t really get the chance to talk,” he said.

“I didn’t think you would,” Steve laughed, getting out of the Jeep, “then again, isn’t that how you normally get information out of your informants?”

He glared at his partner, severely annoyed. “And can we stop bringing that up? She’s not my informant, and she never will be.”

Steve slung his arm around Peña’s shoulder. “I know, because if she was I’d have to kick your ass. Connie wouldn’t even have to make me do that. Don’t hurt her, Javier.”

Peña shoved him off him. “I don’t understand how her fiance could ever hurt her. But if I ever meet him, I might kick his ass.”

“So…” Steve said. “Home?”

“What?”

“Nothing. I just never heard you refer to that complex as home before. Usually it’s ‘my place’ or ‘that shithole’.”

“I never had reason to call it home before.”

Steve nodded, knowingly. “I know what you mean,” he said, “they make all of this shit worth it.”

Your POV

Kate stared at you with a giant grin on her face. “I’m so glad I’m still here. The international calling charges would have been astronomical. Let me go get Connie.”

“Kate!” You exclaimed, but it was too late. You walked back into your room to throw on some clothes, despite the fact you had yet to take a shower.

They both barged into your room. Kate went to sit on your bed, but then immediately stopped. “Couch?” she asked. “I would much rather wait until you cleaned your sheets.”

You smiled at her and followed them out into the living room. Kate was chomping at the bit to ask questions. But instead you started spilling, saving only the most intimate details for yourself. “He didn’t say anything when he walked in. He looked at me, half crazed, and then kissed me as soon as I opened the door.”

“Okay, so I gotta know,” Kate began, “because I remember you telling us about your first time with Michael.”

You blushed at the thought of comparing the two, but you already knew the answer. You sipped your coffee and smiled at them. “Michael who?”

Kate and Connie squealed with excitement. “Memory wiping good, huh?”

Laughing you nodded. “Better. Let’s just say, Javi isn’t as selfish as Michael, and that was even with us kinda rushing through everything.”

“Rushing? He was here for almost two and a half hours!”

You shrugged and sipped your coffee again. “So you guys just skipped talking and went right to sex?” Connie laughed.

“Con, when I saw him in my room, I completely forgot what I wanted to say to him, and he clearly had no idea what to say to me. Definitely the best sex I have ever had, though.”

She shook her head. “I’m sorry about my husband just barging in, but this plane attack…”

She trailed off and looked into her drink. The three of you sat in silence for a few minutes thinking. Your heart instantly sank when you realized what all this meant now. “Connie?” you started. She looked up at you and reached across the table.

“It doesn’t get any easier,” she replied, almost knowing exactly what you were thinking. “The late nights aren’t even the worst of it. I worry every day for Steve’s safety, holding my breath until he’s standing in front of me again. I wish I could tell you the opposite, but I’m not about to lie to you. You need to understand what you’re getting into.”

You slid down in your chair. “Look,” you sighed, “we aren’t together. We just fucked once. If anything, it was something we both needed to get out of our systems.”

Connie rolled her eyes and looked at Kate. “We know better,” Kate said.

You nodded. “I know. So do I.”

“Steve said they had a long conversation last night when he got off the plane,” Connie added, “about you. He honestly didn’t think he would get this far. He’s got a lot of demons, and because of them, Javi doesn’t think he’s good enough for you.”

Kate let out a cry. “Oh! He’s straight out of a novel. Connie, I need you to find me Mr. Perfect, please.”

Connie laughed. “Sorry, they’re both taken,” indicating you and herself.

You leaned back on the couch and smiled, replaying what happened. He made you feel so alive with every touch and kiss. Every time he called you perfect, you wanted to cry. Michael never called you perfect, not once in the ten years you’d been together. Javi made love to you. He was careful and generous. You knew, if he wanted to, he could have been rougher and more demanding, but he was more focused on you and your needs. The look on his face when he saw you naked made you blush. Javi looked at you like you were the first woman he’d ever seen.

“No, mi hermosa. Don’t hide. You are beautiful.” He leaned down and kissed her again. “You’re perfect.”

You prayed he’d make it home tonight. That he’d return to you safe. You wanted to talk to him about this complex relationship that had developed over the last few weeks, but most importantly, you wanted to curl up in his arms again with him embracing you and making you forget all the shit that you went through just to get to this moment. You wanted to feel safe from the shit show that was your life.

“Normally, I’d say to wipe the post-coital grin off your face, but since you fucked the embodiment of a god, I’ll let it slide,” Kate said, throwing a pillow at you.

“You’re the worst,” you laughed, “but not wrong.”

Connie excused herself to start making her way down to the hospital, and you continued to lean back on the couch grinning. Kate walked over to your radio and turned it on. “Rhiannon” started playing, which widened your smile even more.

Bro the teacher looks at the hallway and nods cause she notices that all the lights are off in the room and no one is talking and she leaves. And immediately all the doors open and everyone is sneaking off to the party. BROOO THIS REMINDS ME OF NHI LOL!!! So the teacher suddenly pops out and asks what’s that noise and they all go into different rooms. The teacher doesn’t notice. And of course Marinette goes into the room with Adrien but on accident, and for a second I thought she was touching his pee pee but no she was just touching his lower stomach lol. They both look at each other and Marinette gets flustered and Adrien smiles softly at her. And she immediately gets away from him and they end up in the same room as ROBOT GIRL AND HER LESBIAN GIRLFRIEND!!! Robot girl is shipping them so hard while her girlfriend is glaring at them.

HER GIRLFRIEND CAN PLAY GUITAR YESSSSS!!!

Omg the dialogue in this movie is fucking amazing. Marinette says, “Is it a bird?” Adrien, “Is it a plane?” Sabrina’s soon to be boyfriend, “No IT’S HOT DOG DAN!” Like bitch why is the hot dog cart flying like wtf?! Dude is this how French people see Americans because you know what?! THAT SOUNDS about right. If USA ever gets superhero’s we PROBABLY WOULD HAVE A SUPERHERO WHO SERVES FUCKING HOT DOGS!!! Damn this movie is pretty fucking realistic. The Americans are fucking thirsty for some hot dogs they literally run over Adrien and Marinette like damn ok yes a lot of Americans like hot dogs but we aren’t animals. Turns out the hot dogs are magical. ROSE LITERALLY GOT SUPER STRENGTH AND WAS ABLE TO LIFT UP IVAN!!! QUEEN!!! AW Sabrina got long ass hair like Rapunzel but it’s brown for some reason.

There’s 2 hot dogs left and Nino take initiative and pays for the hot dog and says, “Not a problem. My girl and I can have one and you 2 can have the other.” Damn this really is a fanfic huh. Then again I doubt a fanfic would have them sharing a fucking magical hot dog. Lol! This movie is nuts. They ate the hot dogs (nvm they took a bite of the hotdog and they dropped it on the floor) and they started floating. They grab hands and they are trying not to freak out.

Meanwhile ALYA AND NINO ALL THE FUCKING GET IS THESE HIGH PITCHED VOICES LIKE BRUH. Also Nino ships them so much omg! BRUH HOT DOG DAN EVEN SHIPS THEM! I mean he doesn’t say anything he just looks at them and smiles.

Omg Alya asked Robot’s girlfriend to set the mood with a song! And Robot’s girlfriend is like yeah sure thing. This movie is surreal.

THE SONG IS LITERALLY THE SONG THAT THEY DANCED TOO AT CHLOE’S PARTY OMG!!! I can’t believe I remembered that.

Bruh Adrien literally just repeated what I typed. HE JUST ASKED MARINETTE IF SHE COULD DANCE WITH HIM!!! They are floating and the moon is shining bright on them (Nice job Yue; setting the scene for us I see) and he extends his hand. She starts floating backwards cause she’s freaking out (What a surprise 😒). He grabs her hand and brings her closer to him. WHAT FANFIC AUTHOR WAS ABLE TO GET A FUCKING HIGH BUDGET TO MAKE THIS MOVIE BECAUSE THIS DOESNT FEEL LIKE AN MLB EPISODE!!!

ALSO Marinette is looking at Adrien in a way that makes her look like a Tim burton cartoon character lol. SHE FINALLY GIVES IN AND DANCES WITH HIM IN FRONT OF THE MOON!!! (They aren’t even dancing to be honest they are literally just hugging each other really closely and spinning) BUT ITS ADORABLE SO I FORGIVE THEM!

Lmao they zoom out of the roof party and you just see in the fucking corner Kim and some other dude having a push-up contest. They showed that in the beginning when Alya, Nino, Marinette and Adrien were entering the party. I just wasn’t expecting that in this whole time Kim and the other guy still continued the push-up contest omg. (This is the first 29 minutes and my hand is tired sooo I’m not gonna write anymore)

If anyone wants me to continue I will but I doubt anybody is going to see this post so yeah! Anyway if someone actually read this PROPS TO YOU DUDE!!! HOPE I DIDNT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! HAVE A GOOD YEAR!!!

Part II to the series, i want you to want me.

Summary: (Y/N) is checking in on Peter in Germany.

Warnings: I guess swearing? Maybe spoilers for Captain America: Civil War, but like who hasn’t seen that bad boy lol?

Pairings: Peter Parker x best friend!reader

Word count: 1,632

A/N: I’ve decided that I’m going to attempt to get this series done before I start my summer semester, so on the 15th of May, if I can’t then updates will be slow during that time, at least for a month until I finish school. Updates will ideally be 1-2 times a week since that’s about how many days I have off from work. Thanks for the support on the last part!

You anxiously pace back and forth on your kitchen floor. Lost in your thoughts, only brought to reality by the familiar ding of your phone. You let go of the breath you didn’t know you were holding. You pick up your phone and look at the text from Peter,

P: “Just landed in Germany”

Y: “Well now that the hard part is over, have a great trip! 🙄🥴”

P: “All will be fine lol. Make sure to send me a picture of us “hanging” so I can check-in with May.”

“Hey, dad!” You called to him, hoping he could hear you from his room.

“What’s up?” He popped his head out from behind the door frame.

“I have a strange favor to ask. Can you take a picture of me working on my Spanish project? Since Peter and I couldn’t work on it together, they want us to take pictures of each of us doing our halves so they know we didn’t just have one person do all the work.”

“What happened with Peter coming over this weekend?”

“Oh, it turns out he had a college recruitment thing. He didn’t think he’d qualify when he applied, so he thought he’d be able to make it. He’s gonna do his half in his hotel.”

“Oh, alright.” Your dad takes your phone from you and snaps a picture of you leaning over the poster board, pretending to write the title for the project. He hands you back your phone. “That’s an odd request from a teacher.”

“Well, that’s what they tell us, but we all really know that they’re just lacking in volunteers for the yearbook so they want to get some extra pictures of kids working on projects if they can.” You chuckled nervously, and took the phone back, immediately sending it to Peter. He went back to his room, telling you goodnight and to not stay up too late. “love you!” you shout as he shuts his bedroom door.

“Back at ya kid!”

You phone bings and brings your attention back to Peter.

P: “Oh look how cute you look when you pretend to do homework 🥺”

Y: “Shut up. I hope Captain America knocks you on your ass with his shield.”

P: “Well that’s not very nice. Maybe I should ask one of the Avengers if they’re in the market for a new best friend.”

Y: “Go ahead and do that for me because if you die then at least I’ll have someone to comfort me. Does Thor happen to be on your team? If so, I’ll gladly mourn my loss in his big strong arms 😢”

P: “As a matter of fact, he is not. Guess you’re s.o.l. Nighty night.”

Y: “Night, try not to get yourself killed dumbass.”

You continued working on the Spanish project throughout the night. After all, you were planning on having two people doing this, and now you have to make up for that. Well, that’s what you told yourself, you knew that you wouldn’t be able to sleep well all weekend with the thought that Peter might be in danger. But, if he really has been Spider-Man this whole time, then he’s been in danger for some time. But this seems like a different kind of danger. You’ve always know Spider-Man to be the friendly neighborhood crime fighter, but now that he’s working with the Avengers, you worried what that kind of exposure to a bigger enemy might mean for him. Maybe this is why Peter never told you, he didn’t want you to hold him back or worry constantly about him. You’d understand him not telling May because of that, but you thought that your friendship was something beyond just caring about each other. You thought it was the two of you encouraging each other and helping them to be the best version of themselves, so why didn’t he trust you with something that was so important to him? Maybe he thought you’d rat him out? But if he gave you the chance he would know that you would never go behind his back like that. Maybe this was your chance to prove that to him. Well, whatever his reasoning, you hoped he would be more honest from here on out.

The next day you hadn’t heard anything from Peter all day. You assumed he was probably just busy, plus being in a different time zone probably didn’t help, but you still had a gnawing feeling. That was until you got a text of a picture of Peter with some locals, and you realized he was probably sightseeing until it was time to “suit up”. You smiled at the picture and saved it. He looked so genuinely happy, and you didn’t get to see that often in pictures. You realized that this was something that he was excited about. His nerves and tension you sensed when he asked you to cover for him were gone, and he was fully enjoying himself and his chance to fight with Iron Man. You sighed contently and shut off your phone, figuring it’s probably best to not have it taunting you throughout the day.

When you finally turned your phone back on, about right before you got into bed for the night, you had a video from Peter waiting for you. It was him running around a town square and showing you all the different food carts. You chuckled, not really sure why he felt the need to share all the food carts with you of everything, but you didn’t mind. Accompanying the video is a text that says,

P: “Mr. Stark says we’re gathering at the airport in the morning because that’s where Captain America is heading, trying to escape.”

Y: “Loving the video and picture, looks like fun! Hope everything goes well tomorrow, kick some ass Pete ❤️ (oh and don’t die please)”

P: “Oh now you want me to come back. Now that you know Thor’s not here to dry your tears?”

Y: “I’ve always wanted you to come back, I’m just saying if you don’t… I might not be so torn up if Thor was sent to break the news to me 😉”

P: “I’ll put that in my will really quick “P.S. Send Thor to break the news to (Y/N)”.”

Y: “I appreciate your support on this bud! Oh by the way, here’s a picture of the project finished for May, tomorrow I’m baking Mantecados so when you get back you can be my taste tester and then everything should be ready to present on Monday!”

You’d gotten up and snapped a picture of the finished poster board. Then propped your camera on your desk so it looked about Peter's height, and set a timer. You hopped in front of the board and held your arms out in a way that someone would show off a car on a game show, and out on a big grin. You sent both to Peter so he had some options for what to send to May as proof. He responded to you after he saved them and forwarded them to May.

P: “Thank you! May is really appreciating the fun shots of you acting like poster board making is your calling. Also, I’m really looking forward to knowing absolutely nothing about our project when we present lol.”

Y: “Hey, that’s on you lol. Read the points I have on the board on your plane ride back.”

You set your phone down and closed your eyes, a smile on your face that you couldn’t shake. You were able to sleep peacefully knowing that for now, Peter was okay. You could worry about him tomorrow, but for now, he’s okay.

You decided to sleep in as much as you could, since today all you had to do was go out and get some baking ingredients, then bake. You woke up around noon, which is definitely longer than you thought you’d stay in, but you weren’t mad. You were facing your alarm clock on your bedside table then turned on your back to stretch. You looked up at your ceiling and fell out of bed.

“What the actual fuck!” You yell as you fall, scared to death.

You heard the most familiar laugh echo through your room as Peter fell from your ceiling to your bed. You stood up, grabbed your pillow and smacked him across the head.

“Hey! It’s not my fault you’re easy to scare!”

“No, but it is your fault that you’re a total ass.” You laugh at him, but then pause as he takes off his mask and reveals his black eye. You quickly take his face into your hands and gently rub your thumb over it.

“Who did this? I’ll kick their ass.” You said, completely forgetting that he was just fighting the oldest living Avenger.

“I’ll let Mr. Stark know to warn Cap that you’re coming for his head.”

“Right, sorry. I did just wake up, I totally forgot you were off fighting big bad guys. So what was it like? Are you an Avenger now?”

“It was interesting and kind of cool to be doing more than just stopping random thugs from stealing old ladies’ purses, ya know? And no, well… I’m basically an Avenger, but I think I have to wait for another assignment or something for me to prove I’m ready.”

“Well, hopefully, they’re not needing you too much.”

“Why not? I could really do this! I could be an Avenger!”

“What about school?”

“Well I could obviously do both, I would just have to only do Avenger things when I can, but I’ll manage, I’ve been managing for a while now.”

“Well, as long as your happy, and not dead, I’ll support you.” You chuckled, hoping that Peter would continue to trust you with his Spider-Man secrets.
