Long hair Macaque, my beloved-

No but srsly, one of my favourite designs is just long hair mac and in this au Mammy's figure is just mostly hair.

I was trying to recreate this screenshot:

Obviously there's some difference like I tend to draw a bit chibi (big heads) and I didn't want to make Mac's hair THAT voluminous-

I wanted to achieve sort of a gypsy vibe with these little skrimblos

AND THEN I FOUND THESE:

And I could NOT pass it up.

So yeah...

Oh! And I also gave the sparkly drip to their ears

(Sh!t I just realised, I forgot the shadow creatures... I'll see if I can add them in later)

I COULDN'T for the life of me figure out the hundred yard stare to match with Mac's sharp eyes (how I draw him) and not make it look goofy so I made them spoopy and glowing instead

I sadly don't have much to say about Bai He here since her black hair didn't leave that much room for shading in a darkened environment (I'm so sorry) And this piece was to show off Mac's design more anyway (I promise Bai He will get her spotlight)

(Also Bai He, nor Mk nor Macaque wears shoes. Wukong is the only one in the family who does and I find that funny)

But oh! The hair? Here comes the fun part

(No his hair isn't purple, I just used purple to shade here)

You see I WAS going to use black hair for this photo but i soon realised how much of a pain it was just to shade it (cause i couldn't) and I was just WISHING I could use his white fur instead

And then I realised....

The white fur could be his winter coat.

Some animal's shed their fur in the winter (I think some rabbits do) and grow a new coat, occasionally with a different colour.

Therefore I could make the white fur the winter coat and during the story, his fur could be black to show how much time has passed since Bai He last saw her Baba...

Mwuahahahahahhahahahaha I'm so evil

(I was very proud of myself)

(Also I know macaques don't grow winter coats but just let me have this one ok?)

And why doesn't Bai He have white fur as well then? Well maybe she's just a different kind of monkey or perhaps it's just an age thing.

Funnily enough, when I showed this to my friend, she said he looked heavenly which is funny cause. As much as I love him, Macaque is a smug bastard and he knows it.

Like I know a lot of it was due to trauma BUT STILL

I just personally dislike how the fandom sometimes makes him seem like he could do no wrong and he is "uwu delicate babygirl that needs to be protected at all costs" when this boi is fockin FERAL man.

So despite taking a bit of a back seat in the main plot for this au, Macaque is still a smug bastard behind the scenes as much as he is a good dad

(Gosh sorry for the rant, I just had that pent up for a while now and needed to get it off my chest)

I wanted to post this yesterday on Friday 13th but oh well,

I hope I achieved the mysterious spoopy vibes as the original lol

I've been in turtle-fever as you can tell,,, I finished this last week actually!!! I was doodling Marco and Niraj this week instead. BUT ALAS...HAVE A POST!!! HOLY CRAP GUYS I'M NOT DEAD AND I'M POSTING FREQUENTLY THIS MONTH!! AND ACTUALLY EXPRESSING MY INTEREST IN FANDOMS FOR ONCE AGAIN!! I might post something TMNT related Tuesday again!! ;D

No srsly why tf is it so hard for me to draw official characters instead of only drawing OCs, it's a curse for me sefklsdlkg

JUST AN IDEA I HAD TO DRAW THIS...NOTHING REALLY SUPER COMPLEX CAME TO MIND. Instead, I accidentally made the doodle w/ Raph 3-VP perspective, had to fix a bunch of lines, gave up on others. THIS WAS DRAWN WO/ A RULER AND YOU CAN TELL. SO DON'T MIND CRAPPY PERSPECTIVE INCONSISTENCY. I swear I can actually draw perspectives like a professional, I just choose to spend as little time as possible on paper. I hate drawing traditionally on paper, but I still force myself to stay in-practice, bc I get more organic ideas through that way. References are more of a digital-art thing for me...AAaaa dsrgrgkloj

I'm REALLY proud of Mikey here!!! My fav boi looks rlly good here,,, 😭

This is only like the 3rd time I've ever drawn these boys in my life!! I think this is a not bad start toward my cringe-embracing era. xD

The thing about me and sports fics is that I know absolutely nothing about sports except for 1 of them so usually they end up in my "Marked for later" for a while. But this is like the third time I've read a sports fic after putting it off to immediately questioning every decision I have ever made

I binged this fic like a fucking maniac but there was a logical part of me that was like "please...the assignment you've been procrastinating for 2 weeks is due tomorrow..." so I forced myself to put it down and go to sleep. That was yesterday. I brought my work with me from downstairs at 1am because "if I'm not gonna be able to sleep might as well finish this and then read Magnetic North the rest of the night" WELL I JUST FINISHED THE FIC AND I'M LITERALLY TRYING TO MAKE SENSE OF MY THOUGHTS AND IT IS NOT WORKING-

Coherency...I know how to do that yes. Starting and ending it with Marjan's article was SUCH a nice touch I loved the way she wrote about them!

Also everyone who has ever been mean to TK can line up in an abandoned parking lot...You don't hurt my boy <3 :) . HIS GROWTH??? THAT'S MY POOKIE I'M SO FUCKING PROUD OF HIM??? Picking him up and parting his head as we speak. No but seriously he's so awesome and he's been hurt so much but all he really wants is love 😭. NOW YOU GET TO HAVE SO MUCH OF IT BABY!!! So I did actually end up watching some random hockey highlights so I would have some idea as to what's going on and also oh you used real team players that's cool!! Did not know those people existed in real life but good to know. Now I can say I've read fanfiction with NHL players /j. Okay but srsly the team was absolutely AMAZING!! The way they're all such a family! How supportive they were of Tarlos! Kissing them all on the head (the fictional ones idk about the real ones)!

I am in the car (love being a gay) and I just read the parking lot kiss and my anxiety SPIKED because I was like "no no no they're gonna get outed oh my god NOOOO" TEARS IN MY EYES READING NANCY CALLING THEM UP AND TELLING THEM TO CHECK TWITTER!!! 1. What are things they both find funny?

Not much that is still laughable when they're adults, because such is the nature of GRRM's sandbox ^^'

But as children they loved to mess with Elyana's older brother Tristan, sneaking around behind his back, playing catch or hide and seek or teaching Elyana self defense, when Tristan was very clear on the fact that it wasn't appropriate for a young lady to do any of those things - especially not in the company of a lowborn boy. So growing up Elyana and Criston would frequently be caught rustling through the bushes in the garden like squirrels - giggling uncontrollably and not the least bit stealthy ^^

9. Have they made each other cry?

Have they...? Dude, planning this through rn, it feels like that's pretty much all they do ^^' - starting the day Elyana find out about Criston and Rhaenyra (which has them both in tears) it just never stops.

He'll probably cry writing the letters begging her to forgive him. She'll cry reading them. He'll cry when she never answers, but instead word reaches the capitol that she is now the Lady of Storm's End.

And so forth. They are both idiots (endearment, mostly).

17. What senses (sights, smells, feelings, etc). remind them of each other?

The smell of a garden after a rain, the rich smell of green that takes them both right back to those sweet childhood days.

The smell of exotic flowers reminds Criston of Elyana, because she uses their essential oils with her baths and also on her hair. They are gifts from her family in Dorne, so it's a smell that is very unique to her.

The feeling of a knife in her hand reminds Elyana of Criston, because he was the one who taught her how to use a dagger to defend herself against her brother's explicit wish.

25. What moves do they know work on the other?

Ngl, questions like this one always amuse me, because they belong so far on the "romance story realm" - realistically Elyana's sole move would have to be "existing in close proximity" (srsly I have been with my husband for almost twenty years now and the amount of times I'm like "really? this does it for you? THIS???" is astounding x'D)

But let's be more "romance story" about this - Elyana is well aware of the effect she has on men and over time she grows less shy about using that. Criston doesn't stand a chance against her stealing heated glances from across the room (also because he is, after all, a mildly vain and not so mildly proud dude, who you would totally get going by letting him know just how much you truly want him)

Elyana is very receptive for anything that makes her feel like she is more than just a pretty toy to be used for cunsumption (and breeding), so Criston makes sure he very thouroughly makes their encounters about her pleasure.

im submiting this bc tumblr is really messed up and eats my asks, so let's try this

yeah, i did send a smol bible, but it was all rambling tbh, so this is God giving me a second chance, it's ok, it was something about me not being present (like i actually very distracted lately and thats why i was rambling, srsly it was another level of rambling, i haven't been able to concentrate and im really late with your drabbles, but it's ok, we're getting there slowly but surely, this is a test of patience for myself i guess)

and i also told you about a dream i had with jimin that i was srsly doubting if i should still share but it's just so funny and random not to, i was in a very INLOVEWITHJIMIN state, right before the ost:

it was like a wedding party, and i think it was someone from jungkooks family that was getting married and jimin was there and they were trying on baby carriers and yes.. you would think that is so sweeeet, but actually, in the next scene jimin was wearing it but it was filled with beer bottles, and he gave one to the guard at some door (this was supposed to be still the wedding party), and he went in behind a courtain, and i also went in and OH WHY NOT? jimin was only wearing a robe, boxers and CHAINS... actual chains like fake love concert jungkook chains, and he was taking pictures with some police officers... by then jungkook was nowhere to be found and almost naked jimin is tattooed in my brain forever :) not complaining.

after that i said something about that that leopard yoongi ending covid because well, holy shit that that yoongi marry me, yoongi its getting too sexy for me to handle,

my mom says he looks older, that he doesn't look like a kid anymore lmao i want to cry, -im so proud of him
