Looking for a beta reader for an 80k word fic!

Involves two male characters being set up on a date, ignoring the date for instant magnetic attraction, and going back to one of their houses to bang it out. Set in Dublin, Ireland in modern times.

Since I'm extremely ace and American, mostly looking for betaing of the sex scenes and Irish-ness, as well as general grammer/wording/flow of text.

I have never ever had a beta reader before and it’s super foreign to me so please be patient! 

INFO:

RATING: Mature (due to: non-graphic and age-appropriate sex mentions, non-graphic sexual implications, gore, swearing)

GENRE: Hurt/Comfort, budding romance

CW: Vomiting and illness, blood and severe (canon) injury, non-explicit sex mentions, parent-led sex talk, self-loathing, slight suicidal ideation (kind of), hospitalization, surgery, ambulance 

SUMMARY: Wednesday deals with the aftermath of the battle in episode 8 - I.E., she berates herself for weakness and tries to hide the severity of her injuries. All it does is lead to her hastily-healed wounds becoming infected and making her extremely sick.

Ships: Wenclair (Wednesday/Enid), Yoko/Divina

CHARACTERS: Main: Wednesday Addams (main focus, the hurt that needs comforting), Enid Sinclair (caregiver, concerned and responsible party)

Secondary: Yoko Tanaka (comedic relief, voice or reason), Divina ??? (alongside Yoko) 

PROJECTED LENGTH: Unsure but definitely between 15,000 and 30,000. Unsure if it will be a one-shot or multi chapter. 

WHAT IS REQUESTED: 

I just need help making sure it makes sense. I know what my scenes are going to look like, I know my conclusion, I’m just struggling to make sure everything fits together and makes a coherent story – specifically with internal monologues. Grammar and spelling would be nice too, or if something feels too wordy or OOC. I don’t really need help with brainstorming; just an extra set of eyes <3

Hiii! I'm looking for a beta for my fic for The Show Fest.

• Important tropes or tags you want to disclose: Its a Narry fic, friends to lovers, implied underage sex (17/18), does have some angst and miscommunication, eventual happy ending, will have implied sexual content but no actual smut.

Does anyone know where to look for a beta-reader for a fanfic? I usually would be looking for one from Fanfiction.net, but alas, at the moment it's facing quite a few problems.

I'm merely looking for a technical beta for my little fic because I've zero confidence posting my fanfics without someone looking those through. (I try to fix my grammar, sentence structures, etc., by myself, but when English isn't your mother tongue, it isn't.)

As for the fandom...well, I've written my fic in such a way one could read it fully fandom blind. (But it's cool if you know the canon characters.) The only thing that might be a bit turn-off is the fact it's canon character x OC fic.

So, if anyone knows where I could look for a possible beta reader or if one would be interested enough to even suggest themselves for the task, I would really appreciate that lot!

Ok guys I’m writing a fic

I just got too involved with possible relationships between Nefario and Wild Knuckles over the time they work in a team of Vicious 6 and to the time they both start working with Gru. It’s about how the partnership grows into friendship, then collapses into the pure hatred and slowly makes its way back to the friendship, but with some nuances. I just found it an interesting arc that I want to write something about. And I’m really willing to share it with you!

But the problem is, it’s not in English. I am capable of translating it to English using my own skills and Google Translator, BUT I still need a native English speaker to Beta read this and correct possible mistakes. Maybe anyone here is willing to help?

By now two full chapters are ready. They’re quite short, but I’m not trying to write a saga here, I’m mostly interested in studying characters’ emotions and interactions and how they change over the time.

Heya! I am currently in search of a mutual fanfiction beta-reader with the primary focus being the eradication of SPaG errors or typos in some of my works before they’re posted to AO3, however I am definitely not averse to constructive criticism or general feedback.

Save Our Souls - A Lawlight Fanfiction

So, I prefer putting up Wattpad’s because they have pretty pictures and extra editing, but since this is a series it won’t be posted on Wattpad until it’s done.

I am choosing to deviate from this for the first chapter for two reasons:

1. I am wondering if anyone would volunteer as tribute to be a BETA READER?! I constantly swim in self-doubt so I figure it would be fun to ask.

2. I have already shared some excerpts on here (Play From the Heart, for example, is additional back story to this one). It only made sense to at least have one post with the actual story before the months it takes before it comes to a close.

Mature rating, has the possibility of possibly turning explicit. The drafts are inconclusive.

Excerpt:

“You’re killing yourself for someone who only chooses to not slit your throat because they have alternative means.” Watari spat out in a last hope.

L’s face turned towards Watari, and he was grateful his glasses were to the side. L was always so composed, his face without inflection, but he knew without vision that L’s face was distorted.

“Not quite, old boy… I simply… understand. How one can die from a broken heart.”

“Funny, it doesn’t usually present as a heart attack.”
