Entries for Hobgoblin and his glider from The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe from 1983. Text by Mark Gruenwald and Peter Sanderson with character model by John Romita Jr. and the glider schematic by Eliot R. Brown. While I’m at it, that picture of Hobgoblin riding his glider is from the cover of Spectacular Spider-Man #85 by Al Milgrom.

An interesting relic as this was before the character’s identity was known (and before it became an unholy mess of U-turns) but the character’s creator Roger Stern always intended him to be Roderick Kingsley while subsequent writer Tom DeFalco planned for him to be Richard Fisk. Neither of these sensible resolutions came to pass under the editorial of Jim Owsley (a.k.a. Christopher Priest) who fumbled it, quite spitefully, and left it to Peter David to solve the mystery by revealing the deceased Ned Leeds was actually Hobgoblin and he had been replaced by Jason Macendale (formerly Jack o’Lantern) almost immediately after Ned’s death. Eventually, Roger Stern went back and retconned it and restored the idea that Roderick Kingsley was the original Hobgoblin but by that point the character has already been tarnished with one of the most botched secret identities in comics and it makes one yearn for a time when his real name and everything personal about him remained “Unknown”.

Nergella is the most affectionate OC of mine of them all. Thanks to her mothers giving Nergella the best healthy lifestyle they can bring to her. She does not have a partner yet, so for now it is just her family and friends. Nergella used to show her affectionate side to Destiny, however after one incident, Nergella is forced to be separate apart from her cousin because she lost an innocent part of her and was left traumatized by this event. Nergella simply does not care about PDA. She is known to give out hugs to her close friends, such as Hekatrina O’Lantern, Klarissa Loud, Kaizo, Rin Beetles, Junebug Noceda, and Royal Chang-X.

Nergella does show other ways of affectionate, such as giving hair care to her cousin, Aurora, helping her mothers out with household chores, her cooking and baking (she enjoy baking and cooking with her mothers, grandfather, Destiny, and Denki), and giving gifts to Momoko, such as the magically handcrafted stuffed animals and plushies house for her birthday.

Crafting forecast (aka things I want to make in the next few months) - Jack Skellington, but larger this time - a pumpkin headed creature - a llama and/or alpaca - more beanies to donate* - more halloween themed things - a crocodile - I FORGOT MTH. AGAIN. Something Marvel for the auction. Oh my gosh. - a Mew plushie for my sister - some scarves for my sisters, and maybe some slippers? - reusable shopping bags - finish off some more quilts that I’ve finished the quilt tops for - FINALLY make a tutorial and pattern for the flextangle plushie - and I FINALLY want to share some more patterns. Next on the list is the elephant, then the octopus. Both will be on my patreon, but I also want to share another pattern here because I passed a follower milestone like...two hundred followers ago? Maybe the eel. Maybe the jack o’lantern? Maybe the pumpkin headed creature once I make it If you have any suggestions of specific Halloween related things you’d like to see me make, please let me know! I love halloween but there are a lot of different things to make and I’m having difficulty narrowing down the list *I’ve been making beanies, I just didn’t think y’all would want to see identical pictures of them all? 👻🦇🎃💀 Jack! Jack! Jack! Jack! JACK! JACK O’LANTERN! 💀🎃🦇👻

To continue repping myself as That One Freak In Spiderman Fandom Way Too Into Jack O’Lantern, I wanted to draw a bunch of chibis of everyone whose ever been Jack for October/Halloween. Life got in the way though, but through sheer Fuck It We Ball, I was able to squeeze these out before the month's end- some cuts had to be made (AKA I didn’t draw the Jack O’lanterns I didn’t care about as much), but overall, I'm happy with these. As an FYI, whilst the rest are all canon characters, the last Jack is actually an OC of mine for my own personal spiderman/venom AU! Who I wanted to include, because I can. Maybe one day I'll actually talk about him here alongside my 5000000 other comic book OCs. (Also, the reason almost all of them are unmasked is because I needed a good way to differentiate them- please. There are so many of these cunts.)
