As more people are diagnosed with ADHD, I begin to think of it less as a disorder, and more as an innate human trait.

We weren't meant to keep track of keys and bills and taxes and hair brushes. We weren't born to work ourselves to the bone. We crave to work with our whims, to dance from craft to craft and explore the world in fascinated leisure.

Maybe the only reason ADHD is a disorder is because it disrupts what neurotypicals have told themselves should be the status quo.

#Opm #One punch man #The most intriguing part abt opm is that you can't help but try not to think about it too seriously #Bc if you take it from literally from any other angle it goes into extremely horrific really fast #Yes Genos is a parody and deconstruction of cool shonen characters! #But he's also a teenager turned into a weapon who is so gripped w survivor's guilt he narrowed down his entire existence on revenge #Tatsumaki looks so silly and she's so arrogant! #She's so traumatized! I don't even know where to begin! Also she has a messed up pov of relationships and herself! #Garou is self explanatory! #Haha Saitama is such a relatable silly goofball! #Anyways the entire earth is in his mercy on whether or not he can keep himself in check! #Oh wow opm's world is like how in typical shonen when the mosnter of the week shows up! #Oh god there's a new monster showing up every week and not only they're gwtting stronger. They're getting FREQUENT. #I've heard an advice from someone that most horror is comedic from another angle bc of its absurdity #And in a sense that is true #But reading opm made me realize that the reverse is also very very true

What do you like about SaiGenos as a romantic pairing? Regardless of the fan canons, why do you find SaiGenos so compelling?

I'd have to say that Saigenos just has great chemistry between each other, which is plain as day for me to see ever since I first laid my eyes on OPM back in the day. And their character dynamics are very compelling. They're just all arounds cute, funny and very effective as a duo when it comes to doing basically anything at all and it's like they have one braincell and work with the same wavelenght. Oh and lately also tragic and I love a good amount of tragedy and angst in my ships and a good amount of realism too because relationships aren't just roses and rainbows.

Just all around a great pairing to me.

Initially when I got into OPM around 2015 when it came out, I watched the anime, I loved it and my fave is ofc Saitama, checked out some fanart, got interested about saigenos a bit but not really hard shipping yet, then later when season 2 came out checked that too, but then my interest waned until mutual got into OPM again and I checked out the manga this time and oh boy I was in the hook because the storytelling and visuals are just *cheff kiss* and ate it up until chapter 163, absolutely perfect timing for the hypest stuff to commence and for me to ruminate and start my spiral into saigenos oblivion.

So then I've been a saigenos fan since.

Romantically I already see they have this subtle love language between them (acts of service) as means to show they care about each other and the slowest burn that is very relatable to me on a personal level, which too I find very compelling on this story format and I want to see how it develops because again, they're being cute and wholesome and I love wholesomeness and good relationship portrayals. ONE has written them pretty darn well imo.

What can I say, Saigenos is great in my books. But especially Saitama. :D

Fun fact: I used to be a cat person too, since I grew up with cats. But indoor cats only wanted my affection very seldom when they came to me instead, because cats tend to be like that, reclusive.

But I tended to try and pet each cat I saw when I was younger if I saw they were friendly haha. Didn't matter if it was some random neighbourhood cat or a cat in another country.

I thought I was a cat person...until I went with my SO to get the cutest little fluffball of a black puppy and now I'm firmly a dog person. I just had to form emotional attachment to a dog and now all dogs are cute and I love each and every single dog I see because dogs are the best.

All too often I come across an opportunity that makes life easier and harder at the same time. I'm trying to learn sign language for the moments when I go nonverbal, but it hurts, my wrists ache so badly after only a few minutes of practice. I always have to surrender some kind of comfort/relief in exchange for another.
