In honor of it being pride month and me being gay here are losers head canons that align with either mine or my friends identities/experiences :P

Starting off strong with genderqueer Stan. Stan was like I’m not a man or a woman but I do not have the decisiveness to know anything other than that (cause same)

Bill, Beverly, and Richie are all bisexual and they fight over the title of bi disaster of the friend group

Mike is ace but constantly questions himself because he knows that a asexuality is a spectrum so he’ll at anytime be like nope sex still doesn’t seem right thanks

Did Eddie buy a pride flag? Yes. Did he also hide said pride flag under his bed an entire year so his mom didn’t find out about his closeted ass? Yes again

Bev rates clothing stores pride collections and takes minimum one loser with her to model clothes for her review posts. (+when Richie tags along he without fail buys the tackiest clothing item in the collection)

Ben didn’t realize he liked individuals other than women until he was out of college so he thought it would be impossible to find any guy who would like him since he’d only ever been with girls. (+this proves to be untrue seeing as he’s hot, romantic, and successful, he pulls)

Richie was Stan’s gay awakening (I head canon they’re pan but yk) and they will forever be ashamed of this

brendon urie talked about his pansexuality recently and said it feels great to be out and like a weight lifted off his shoulders. his way of describing pansexuality was to say it’s all inclusive and that if there’s consent, he’s open to it, he doesn’t care. he said he doesn’t really have a type, that it’s mostly personality for him, that he’s attracted to the person.

he also talked about how even when he was at his most cavalier about sexuality before he settled down that he couldn’t sleep with someone if he didn’t have that connection with them, which he got shit for.

he mentioned again that he tells people his sexuality is “i’m married” and he’s in a monogamous relationship, because when people hear he’s pansexual and married to a woman, they assume he’s cheating on her with men. he talked about that misconception, saying pansexuality is nothing like that, that people blow it up into a big thing it isn’t.

he said he likes being honest with his fans because they want to talk about things he’s gone through or is going through and it makes him feel less alienated to share those things. he hopes his honesty about who he is can inspire others to do the same. and even if it inspires them to not feel the need to share those things, that’s just as beautiful.

so don’t ever try to tell me this man who has always been open about his attraction to whoever he’s attracted to, repeatedly explained his pansexuality without using the word, after using the word to better explain his sexuality says it feels great to be out, hopes his honesty about his sexuality will comfort and inspire people, was forced to come out as pansexual.

my hcs for the losers sexualities

bill: pansexual (loves eveyone but mostly his bf stan, has kissed richie at least three times but they’ve never dated)

stan: gay (he had a gf once but things didn’t work out. realized he was in love with bill. he wears makeup sometimes, at least a blinding highlight)

bev: bi but mostly likes girls (has kissed a lot of girls in college but ended up in a relationship with ben in the end(the love of her lifeeee))

Budding Love!Stenbrough Headcanon

Notice: Both Stan and Bill are the same age as when they went to the quarry in the book in the first part of this headcanon, it is not sexualising them, it is called puppy love/a crush. I liked guys at a young age although I did not have a label for it. I didn’t wake up one day when I was 16 and go “heh now I’m a teenager let’s be gay”

✪ Bill is leaning against a brick wall watching Eddie try frantically to patch up Ben when he sees Beverly walking down the street with a white plastic bag and a pack of cigarettes

✪ He feels something rustle in his chest when she smiles at him

✪ Less than a feet away, Stan is watching. Very unhappily. But he doesn’t know why.

✪ As Bill converses with Beverly, Stan feels something rising in his throat and something pushing out of his chest. Years later when brought up at The Losers Club’s reunion dinner they all laugh at his obvious j e a l o u s y

✪ Fast forward to the quarry, Stan tries not to stare at Bill when they all take their clothes off. He knows it’s bad that he’s looking at a boy like that but he can’t help it. His heart stops when Bill catches his eye. Thankfully Richie butts in with a stupid joke.

✪ All of the Losers are in the lake, and Stan watches Bill and Beverly share a look. He dives underwater and just floats around for awhile, trying to clear his mind

✪ When everyone is drying off, all of the Losers (except for Mike who is absent) are staring at Beverly. All for different reasons.

✪ Bill and Ben- Awestruck and in love

✪Richie- In awe of the female body

✪Eddie- “This is what guys fantasize about? I really don’t get it”

✪Stan- “Bill’s back looks really nice... oh I didn’t know he had a birthmark there...”

✪ Fast forward to high school, Bill and Stan are changing for gym class and Bill catches Stan staring.

✪ “W-whatch-cha looking at, Stan?”

✪ “Bill I have a confession to make”

✪ “So do I Stan, so do I”

✪ They don’t let go of each other’s hand until the end of the day.

✪ They tell the Losers after school at the Barrens

✪ Bill is pan and Stan is f l a m i n g gay. Like peacock gay.

✪ Beverly drags Stan aside and he’s preparing for a cat fight when she whispers in his ear “He’s a complete gentleman and a pushover, so don’t expect much”

✪ Stan goes completely red after giving it some thought and tells her it’s not like that. She only winks.

✪ Instead of going to the movies like Richie and Eddie or Mike and Ben, they go on a “double date”

✪ Their version of double dating: Stan choosing something he thinks Bill would like to do and Bill chooses something he thinks Stan would enjoy

✪ Bill takes Stan to a small cafe which is really secluded and which nobody really goes to. Stan loves it there because it’s quiet and they can just appreciate each other’s presence. (Did I mention Stan is flaming gay. He’s also the emotional gay.)(Like me)

✪ While Stan sips his coffee he admires Bill, the way his hands are tapping on the table, the way his hair is thin but somehow styled, as if it has been gelled, the way his eyes are- oh my god Bill has been staring at Stan, noticing his staring the entire time.

✪ Bill blushes as they acknowledge each other’s eye contact

✪ Stan brings Bill to a shop which sells wooden carvings

✪ Bill has his reservations at first but as soon as he sees how much detail goes into each piece of work he goes all philosophical and tells Stan that each one of these is like human being. They all start out relatively the same but if they do things right they become beautiful, intricate pieces of art

✪ Stan blushes as he tells Bill to that he could be in a room full of art (which he was) and still the only thing holding his interest would be Bill

✪ Bill smiles a really goofy smile and blushes as well

✪ Their dates go on this way until they’ve exhausted Derry of its quiet shops and corners. They reluctantly go to the movies. They end up sitting on a sofa in the waiting lounge and just eat popcorn together.
