Idk if this has been asked before, but does Casey have good binding habits? Or does he not bind at all? I know I didn't have good habits for a couple years and it left me with permanent damage so I wondered how he deals with that and if it affects his fighting at all when he's been binding for too long

Hello! No this hasn’t been asked before, but you’d be correct in assuming that Casey doesn’t have the best binding habits.

Whenever Casey is drawn femininely in my style it’s like his ‘post-coming out’ era, BUT ‘pre-coming out’ time he always used his chest binder 24/7 to the point where it did a lot more harm than good.

Casey had the habit of wearing his binder whenever he was with other people— so like the turtles, or April, or strangers, etc. He wore it whenever he worked out or fought or was playing hockey, and overall just overexerting himself to a damaging point. He does have a lot of back and chest pain that he just tries to power through as well as very sensitive tissue/scarring on his skin around his chest area. Casey tried to use binding tape instead but gave up cause it was too tedious. He used to have really bad shortness of breath but it’s better now.

Well eventually he did come out to the gang and Donatello beat him senseless for over-binding his chest (/j). Casey is better about binding post-coming out since he doesn’t wear it around his friends or in private, but in public he does wear his binder WITH much more safety and precaution (6-8 hours tops)

BUT yes these are my rambles rahahaha I love talking about trans Casey it’s my favorite thing ever thank u for allowing me to do so

The blue fox woman chuckled when she saw Midori's tails perk up. She absent-mindedly had forgotten to merge her nine tails back together into one, and so she did just that as the kitsune bard approached. The blue vixen stood at what seemed to be approximatively 6ft/180cm tall and her garnements clearly showed that she was *not* from around here. Maybe farther toward the east? Midori didn't really know for sure. "Oi there, name's Doofox Renard, I come from them Forest o' Spirits. That's why I'm here a tad later than I wished... Well, that don't matter now that we here! See Midori, I heard about yer struggle to survive, about the whole ambassy fiasco an' Dusklight and all'at... That's what them bards all sang about ove' there. I couldn't get a single day passin' by without having to send a darn musician back to the Astral Plane!" She chuckled. "...I uhhh was jokin' about that last part. Anyhow, mind showin' me around? I can tell ye anything ye wanna know while we visit, just don't feel like stayin' still for too long!" Doofox seemed like the cheerful type, her face seemed to almost constantly bear a smug, large smile. Through her right eye traced a scar, and it didn't take much investigation to notice other scars all over the bits of exposed skin she had. It didn't take long for Midori to feel a violent, tremendous power roaring inside of the tall kitsune, something akin to a gigantic storm brewing, this girl was not to be taken lightly. As they went on to visit the circus, Doofox interrogated Midori: "Say, now that yer safe and sound and got yer circus. What's the plan? I heard from yer letter that yer trynna beat them xulgaths, but what about Dusklight? Not feelin' revengeful? I could help ya out on both front even! Rahahaha~!" Each and every of her words were brash and loud and she lacked that distinct... nobility, Midori had imagined she'd have. Hopefully she was an exception.
