RAVEN REYES — dating her includes...
fluff
Tumblr media
author note: sorry if any of this is inaccurate, i seriously need to rewatch the 100. anyway i have nothing but love for my space walker<3
this is kinda all over the place okay !!
Tumblr media
raven is such a sweet person to date but has some serious jealousy issues
shes also protective
at the start, she has such major trust issues because of finn
but you're patient
shes quite insecure about her leg, and her scars
but you're always happy to tell her how badass she is and how cool they are and how beautiful she is
raven absolutely melts if you kiss her scars
or just kiss her anyway to be honest
shes such a softie for you
you always do her ponytails for her
you absolutely despise finn for breaking your girl's heart, but after his death you have some sympathy
at first you don't get along with clarke too well either
but once you see that raven has forgiven her, you start to warm up to her
don't even get started on murphy !
most arguments that the two of you have is because she is overworking herself
because she has been let down so much in her past, she is reluctant to trust you and allow herself to love.
she is also nervous that you will leave her, or even as unlikely as it is to happen, you cheat on her like finn did.
therefore, if she sees you talking to someone and they're flirting with you, she starts to get that pit in her stomach
she can't even bare to watch
she goes and sulks until you find her
even then she has a cute pout, until you kiss it away.
you're constantly amazed by how smart she is
always showing your girl off
god knows she deserves it
she is reluctant to let you leave camp, especially on dangerous missions that she can't go on
she is just so so scared that something will happen to you and you won't come home to her
of course tho, you promise to be careful and to always return to her.
you teach her some self defense and knife skills
because you're also worried for her
if she gets in a situation where its fight or flight, nd she can't run, you need her to know how to defend herself
however, raven feels sure that you would never allow something like that to happen
you feel the same, but just in case you were separated
she loves flirting with you
even if you have been in a relationship for years, she loves it
however, as much as she can dish it out, she can't take it to save her life
one tiny compliment from you and she is a blushing mess
you absolutely revel in it
raven adores it when you randomly visit her during the day
when you bring her food or just visit because you miss her
especially when she can tell you all about what she is working on, and you're just so in awe of your genius girlfriend
her favourite love languages to receive are physical touch and words of affirmation
her love language is mainly acts of service <3
altogether, the two of you are such a power couple

a/n: angsty asf, do you like my moodboard? It looks like Raven and Lexa are arguing - I feel pretty impressed with myself tbh lol. Thank you for the request - sorry it took so long to get to!
⤷ female, ambiguous race, and any size reader. Requests are open, thank you for reading!
SUMMARY: You hadn’t been married to Raven for long, but you knew you would do anything for her. Her life comes before your own. One day she risks it and a fight ignites. Words are said and lines are drawn. Did Raven go too far?
ᴹᵃˢᵗᵉʳˡᶤˢᵗ
Lexa had considered all options before acting. Of course, she did, she was the Commander, and her actions were watched by thousands of eyes. But when it came to you, her sister, her level head disappeared.
The ground was wet as she entered her sister-in-law’s tent. Raven was sitting on the cot, her head in her hands. Silent tears rolled down her cheeks as she sat unhumanly still.
She took in the scene before her. Some of your things had been messily vacated; maybe not obvious to a stranger, but if one looked hard enough, they would be able to see the missing pieces. You had packed your things quickly, your vision too blurred and mind too unfocused to remember everything.
It hurt to see Raven like this, but her sympathy did not extend far.
“Raven,” Lexa’s voice was commanding, and she didn’t care if now wasn’t the time for gentleness. “Y/n is staying with me until you fix things.”
Raven looked up at Lexa, and her eyes were red yet still piercing. She still wore the makeshift ring that was crafted for her marriage. And in that hand clutched a pendant. One that she created for you, one that you never took off. Not even to bathe, not when you went hunting or swimming.
It felt cold in Raven’s palm.
“You told her you didn’t love her-” Lexa could feel herself becoming more agitated with every word she spoke. Heat spread from her cheeks to her neck and stomach.
“No no, my words came out wrong. I-” even then Raven couldn’t form a coherent sentence. They were the first words she had spoken since you left, hours beforehand.
“So how are you going to fix this?” Lexa cut to the point, as she felt pricks of irritation on her skin.
All Raven could do was shake her head, the tears showing no signs of slowing down. And they weren’t just tears of sadness, but ones of cold anger; the type of emotion where you knew the situation was dire.
So Lexa continued to pack up your things. With every item she picked up, Raven felt like a dagger was being plunged into her chest.
“I am sorry,” Lexa muttered, picking up the last of your things.
And with that, she left the tent.
𝐒𝐢𝐱 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫
Raven’s mind was racing as she walked into the makeshift throne room. You were gazing down at the city. Eyes flickering back and forth at the people below. You could see so much from up here - from the sunrise, to the people walking the dirt street.
You let out a sigh. Your eyes felt swollen, and your neck felt bare. The tears never ceased at night, because during the day Lexa had you doing duties. And that’s why you now stood behind the throne. Waiting for your sister.
You heard a cough behind you.
“Lexa, I’ve been waiting for twenty minutes, where have you been?”
Raven didn’t wait for you to turn around. “Sorry the horse wasn’t coopoerating. And I haven’t been outside of camp for a while. I misjudged the trek.”
You spun around, eyes wide and lips parted.
“Hi baby,” Raven said sheepishly.
It was silent for three heartbeats. And then you growled, “Hi baby? Hi? Baby?”
Your nostrils flared. Eyes narrowing. Lips peeling back behind your teeth. It was true what they called you. Gon Wamplei. Of Death. You did not have a fiery temper, nor did you explode in anger. You were cold. Known for your stone-like savagery. You weren’t just the Commander’s sister. But apart of her advisors, she came to you when harsh blows needed to be dealt.
Raven didn’t move. Because she knew all of this. She knew who you were. Where you came from. What thoughts you had and how you operated.
You were a survivor. And no one could judge you for that.
“Why are you even here?” You demanded, silently going over the wall around your heart for cracks, for any signs of weakness.
“I came to- to apologise.” You took in Raven’s appearance. Her hair was tangled, her eyes bloodshot, and dark circles rimmed the brown iris’.
You swallowed deeply before speaking. “You, you said you didn’t love me.” The same pain you felt six days ago engulfed your chest. And swore in your head. You must have used timber for those walls rather than steel.
“It was stupid. It was so stupid of me to say that. I didn’t mean it. Y/n, please -” Raven’s words came out in a rush. Her body sprang forwards, her hand gripping your arm. Tears formed in her eyes. Those eyes that you looked into and swore to love forever. Even after death.
“I just don’t understand how you could say that to me.” You so badly wanted to hold Raven, to press your lips against your own. But what she had said stopped you. You truly did not understand how she could say that to you.
“I was scared,” Raven started, her head hanging slightly. Her shoulders drooped as she spoke. “I was so afraid that of losing you that I said the one thing that would make that happen. I’ve never felt good enough for you. You deserve someone better. Someone that wouldn’t treat you like this.”
Your eyebrows rose in confusion. “There is no one better for me? No one out there-” And you pointed out the window, “- that would understand who I am.”
Raven stepped closer and wiped a stray tear from your cheek.
“You are the greatest thing that has come out of Earth.” She cooed.
“You are my wife and I should have done better. I will do better. Just please come back home.”
The throne room felt so big, and yet so small at the same time. It didn’t feel like the room where you spent hours arguing with other groups or making terrible decisions. It was now the room where you and Raven made amends.
  You nodded.
And Raven placed something cold in your hand. Turning it over, you looked at the necklace. The heart that Raven had shaped and crafted for you. It was one of a kind.
A small smile tugged at your lips. You looked at your wife, and rested your forehead against hers.
“Don’t you ever risk your life like that again, you hear me Reyes?”
Raven closed her eyes and leant into you. “I fucking promise. I love you.”
You wrapped a hand around the back of her neck and pressed your lips on hers. “And I love you.”
Without speaking, she took the necklace from your hands and tied it around your neck.

her blood was boiling as she chugs another shot of whatever liquor Miller had provided her. Raven clenches her jaw as her eyes head back to Murphy and y/n on the dance floor.
It's been about two months since they've arrived at Sanctum and the group from Earth couldn't possibly be any happier, they were easily accepted and adorned by the people of Sanctum and were given homes to live in and chores to partake throughout the community. Raven was assigned with the tech team while her partner, y/n, got signed with Bellamy and Murphy for the supply crew.
That meant that she would be seeing much less of them, but she didn't expect it meant that they'd grow so much closer to Murphy like this. She watches as y/n chuckles while dancing with Murphy on the ancient music playing over the speakers throughout the bar. They look happy, almost carefree, and Raven almost hates herself for hating that she is not the one making them feel like this.
They've been together for the better part of six years before all hell broke loose on Earth, before they had to hop on another spaceship and travel the universe to find a new home. Needless to say, Raven and y/n were the better part fo each other, anyone with eyes can see it from miles away.
She averts her eyes away from the pair and taps her glass against the counter for the third time in the span of twenty minutes.
Miller clocks a hip and folds his arms as he staes at her, "I don't want to cut you off but you're gonna need to take a break." Raven pressed her lips together and rolled her eyes, "Please just pour me another shot."
"if you're so jealous of them together then talk to them, it's really that simple Raven. I mean how long have you two been together? Seven years? Plus a few hundred? Why are you scared of confronting them?"
Raven rolls her eyes again, "I'm not scared of anything," she glances back at her lover and catches their eye, they grin at her and she sends a tight lipped smile back then turns to face Miller, "I just hate how close they are."
Miller opens his mouth to say something but y/n dropping their body on the seat beside Raven shut him up, they wrap an arm around Raven's shoulders then press a gentle kiss to her temple. "Heya Miller." the dark skinned boy nods his head in acknowledgment, "y/l/n, what can I get you?"
They hum for a moment then shrug, "I'll have what she's having, thanks man."
When Miller fills their cups and walks away, Raven sighs, ready to gulp down her shot but y/n stop her by keeping their hand on hers. "Are you okay? You've been sulking her for the past hour."
Raven avoids eye contact as she nods and she knows y/n is not buying it when they grab her chair and tug it forcefully towards them, they lean closer to her face and examine her features as one of their hands rub soft circles to the low of her back and it sends electricity up her spine.
y/n's eyebrows rise as they seem to pinpoint exactly what had been bothering Raven and they giggle, then immediately smack a hand over their mouth to shut up. Raven rolls her eyes and bites back a smile, she was never able to lie to them for long. Y/n had this special ability to read her like an open book no matter the situation.
They giggle again and Raven's cheeks flush bright red as she downs her shot, letting the slight burn distract her from the way y/n is trying so hard not to laugh. "you—"
"No."
"Raven I swear—"
"No, I said no. I'm okay!" and at this point y/n give up trying as they wrap their arms around Raven's waist and cackle into her chest.
"You were jealous? Jealous of what—" they gasp in horror, "me and Murphy? Reyes!"
Raven groans and buries her face in her hands, her blush reaching her neck and the tips of her ears. "I'm not jealous."
"you look like you're jealous."
"I am not jealous."
y/n gives up trying to conceal their cackle and just let it out, Raven huffs and steals their shot and downs it. When they notice she took their drink, they tighten their hold on her and hug her closer, littering kisses across her exposed neck and cheeks which causes her to giggle.
"There she is," they pull away only slightly, their hold on her still tight and a drowsy smile pulls at her lips, she lets out a relieved sigh and leans her head on their chest, her eyes blinking at them from under her lashes, "My girl. You know I'd never flirt with Murphy, even if it was the end of the world."
Raven, slightly tipsy now, giggles, "I know, I'm sorry. I guess I got a little bit jealous, you two have been spending a lot of time together."
A teasing smirk pulls at y/n's lips, "Do you know why?" Raven shakes her head and y/n leans down, their lips brushing the shell of her ear and Raven shivers visibly. "He's going to propose to Emori."
She let's out a gasp of surprise and jolts out of her lover's embrace, she turns to them in shock and when y/n nods in conformation to what she just heard, Raven almost squeals, but y/n hold her close again as they chuckle at her. "Don't tell anyone though, the search for the ring isn't over yet. Do you think you can handle me spending more time with Murphy for the next couple days?"
Raven sighs as she thinks about it for a moment then shrugs, "Well I guess, if I'm getting a ring too."y/n chuckle as they press a kiss to her forehead, "we'll see babe."

i do what i have to do.
pairings. bellamy blake x fem!reader
part two of two.
about. in which you point your gun at someone you never thought you’d point it at.
Tumblr media
warnings. swearing
ricky rocks. look who finally finished a year old one shot/fic/whatever you call it 🤗🤗
bellamy coudn’t hurt you even if he wanted to. so, when mumbling the words, ‘move or i’ll kill you’, you could see right through his bluff by the way his eyes so willingly betrayed him, filled with... hurt.
in all truth, bellamy believed you would have shot him if it would have come down to that, and maybe that’s what pained him most. he wouldn't hurt a hair on your head, and you would have, but only for the best interest and safety of arkadia and your friends.
you never wanted to hurt bellamy, but recently you really, really wanted to slap him upside the head for all the stupid shit he had been doing. and maybe a gun scare would knock some sense into him, or maybe it would only put him deeper into the hole pike was digging for him.
bellamy yanked you to your feet quickly after the two of you had seemed to have recovered from all the commotion that had just taken place. you weren't sure whether or not he wanted to get you away from the increase in rowdy crowd or to have his way with you first.
you were beginning to think it was the last option as he marched down the hall with you in front of him, gripping your left arm while the other pressed against your back. one, two, three, four more steps before he shoved you into one of the guards rooms, his room.
“what the hell do you think you’re doing?” he let go of your arm with a slight shove causing you to stumble forward a bit. he looked angry, more than you had ever seen him and more than you would have ever wished to see.
“bellamy, don’t start with me,” you mumbled, raising a finger to harshly accuse him... for something. “if you’re going to kill me, just get it over with.”
he scoffed, looking beyond dumbfounded with his mouth slight agape, not believing the words that had just came from your mouth.
“stop fucking talking,” he needed to think. he begun to pace back and forth, and you had no idea what to do with yourself as you watched him. “i need to get you out of here.”
"what?"
he gives you a dumbfounded look that was filled with a sense of urgency, "y/n, you just shot someone that can have you dead within seconds. you don't leave, someone’s going to do exactly what you did, and take justice into their own hands."
"you should have let me finish the job."
"we're not starting this," he grips your shoulder before pushing you by your upper back. "people are leaving. o, kane, miller—you go with them. you stay, they'll kill you."
"how do you know this?" you mumbled, glancing back at the mention of your friends and the planned escape you all had developed. bellamy was considered a traitor to you all, so he would be the last person on your list to concern with the escape plan.
"eyes everywhere."
you narrow your brows at him, "you're coming with."
he narrows his brows in shock, not expecting you to say this, you share the same expression, also shocked by yourself. the past month would explain this--not only had you watched your world at arkadia fastly crumble after the slow rebuild of humanity, you also witnessed your relationship with bellamy slowly tank moment after moment while his with pike was created.
so, offering passage was an absurd idea. after all the betrayal.
he seems to wince after his surprisal settles but is quick to keep a straight face as best as he can, "you're getting the wrong idea."
"am i?"
"we're not friends anymore, y/n. this isn't old times," his words are intentionally stinging, but you don't miss the look on his face that betrays him. "you can't save me if that’s what you’re thinking. I don't need to be saved, i know what i’m doing."
you frown, "bellamy, you need to stop acting like there's never going to be a happy ending for you before it comes true. leave with us."
"you know i can't do that."
"why not?"
"I dug myself in too deep this time," his face was still stone cold, but it didn't prevent remorse from blossoming in your chest. "maybe if you weren't such a terrible shot, this would be all over."
***
in well under an hour bellamy had you out of arkadia, alone. your friends had left a lot sooner than thought and no matter how much begging you did—expectedly—bellamy left his mind unchanged.
you knew exactly where your friends were going—where they’d be. it was a long and lonely hike but it was enough time for reflection.
you miss the time where you felt like a kid still. where you were young and reckless and full of hope that you’d finally get to be free upon that first step off the drop ship. that you had purpose and will and fighting was something you hadn’t really minded aside from the possible side affect of death.
now you were tired. you just wanted to lay your head down for once and not think about the pointless rivalry purging your everyday life.
“y/n, you’re okay,” octavia pulls you into a tight hug, a certain relief setting over. “god, after we hadn’t seen you, we assumed the worst.”
“i’m okay,” you gave her a thin-lipped smile, “thanks to your brother.”
“bellamy?” she seems shocked, like that’s the first courteous thing he’s done for someone in years.
“yes,” you nod, understanding the hostile tone she almost takes with his name. “i think he might’ve saved me.”
“where is bellamy?” miller speaks causing you to realize they had all emerged from the cave.
"he's gone."
"dead?"
"no,” you shake your head, “he stayed behind. he said he had to fix some thing’s before he showed his face again.”
octavia mentally rolled her eyes, but kept her composure as she watched you, “you’re here. that’s all that matters.”
***
“is he dead?”
“indra has him.”
“bellamy-“
“y/n,” he gives you a pointed look at your protest. “you know that’s as good as dead.”
he was right. pike killed her people, that was far from unforgivable. he’d be lucky to receive death.
“she didn’t kill you.”
he shook his head, keeping his eyes low to the ground, “thanks to o.”
it took a day for bellamy to find you all. his face was beaten and bloodied, but you knew better than to ask what the cause was. he had a lot of enemies at the moment and it wasn’t like this was something out of the blue for him. you would've been surprised to see a clean face.
“she doesn’t hate you as much as you think.”
“i’d like to think she doesn’t hate me at all,” he presses his lips into a thin line. “you’re right though.”
you nod, trying to look sympathetic.
“about everything. i’m sorry.”
your mouth slightly opens in shock from not anticipating his words; apology and admitting.
“i’m sorry too,” you nod, swallowing harshly as you think about having that gun pointed inches from his face. “i would’ve never shot you.”
“you sure?” his voice is lighthearted, but you can tell he’s genuine when asking. “could’ve guessed otherwise.”
“guessing will only hurt you,” you tease, but quickly drop the blitheness. “i shouldn’t have done it, but i was scared… and angry.”
“i know,” he whispers, “we do what we have to do, right?”
“right.”
“then if that means shooting me to knock some sense into me, do it.”
a laugh gets stuck in the back of your throat at the preposterous thought of it. the funny thing was you knew he wasn’t joking. classic bellamy, putting himself in harm’s way.
“me a couple months ago would be more than happy to oblige,” you shake your head, making it his turn to laugh.
“us a couple months ago was a different story. i’m sure we already had guns to each other’s throats.”
you laugh with him, “yeah.”
“never again.”
nodding, “never again.”
you stare at one another now, quiet and calm. you don’t think you’ve ever had a moment like this with bellamy before.
you’re not sure what to do, but bellamy does.
your months of angsty butting heads leading to civilness, then ultimately leading to radio silence on both of your ends due to pike, had killed him. and now, here you were, back in his grasp of more than just civilness, he couldn’t let that go.
“i lied,” he mumbles, suddenly shifting from the rock he sat on. “instead of shooting me…” he’s leaning now, hovering, and just barely resisting the urge to complete his intentions. you feel his breath fan your face; feel, because your eyes are shut. “please, just kiss me.”
his nose is slotted against yours, still hovering as he watches you beneath his eye lashes. his lips are so close… so close to yours, it’s killing him that he waits.
“i’m sorry, but i have to do this,” he smiles before finally pressing his lips against yours.

Lone Wolf chapter 11
Summary: the story continues
Author note: First I want to apologize it took so long for me to post the next chapter for lone wolf. After that, I want to thank everyone who has sent me comments and kudos for my writing. I haven’t forgotten this story, writing has just been difficult the last couple of months.
previous chapters: part 1- part 2- part 3- part 4- part 5- part 6- part 7- part 8 - part 9- part 10
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“What! Gives you the right to touch my daughter!” you were livid. How dare this boy touch your daughter. Madi in general had a hard time with being touched. The only people who were allowed to touch her freely, were you, Lexa, Clarke and Anya. From time to time Indra, but that was only when Madi instigates it. So who did this piece of shit think he was for giving Madi a panic attack.
At this point, you were really starting to regret coming to the Skaikru. Would Clarke be really upset if you cut this guy's throat? Probably. Pushing aside the murderous intent you were feeling you turned toward Madi who was still protected by Dina. Madi who was still sobbing uncontrollably. You throw the sword in your hand to the side and crouch down so you are at eye level with your daughter. Dina steps away from the two of you and keeps the rest away.
When Madi spots you through tear-filled eyes, she looks you straight in the eyes but doesn’t move to get closer to you.
“hey, peanut.” You say in a voice you only reserve for your daughter. The little girl is so attuned to the sound that she is already calming down.
“Mama?”
“Yes baby, it is Mama. Are you feeling big emotions?” you knew she was but this made it easier for Madi to work through it. Madi gave you a small nod.
“is the feeling going away?” most of the time the emotions Madi was feeling would pass on their own. When Madi shook her head, you gave her a reassuring smile.
“that is okay. I am here and we are getting through this together. Can I touch you?” with speed almost too fast for a human, Madi was in your arms. She pressed her head against your chest to feel your steady heartbeat. The sound helped in calming her down.
“alright baby, can you tell me five things you see?” your voice is just about a whisper but Madi could hear you just fine.
Clarke and Lexa were wrapping up their meeting. Things had gone smoother than hoped and resulted in the two being able to meet (Y/N) and Madi for lunch. Clarke was putting away the last of the documents when one of the guards sprinted into the tent. The markings on their arms told them that they were on (Y/N) personal guard. Lexa was aware of the guards (Y/N) had put on both her and Clarke.
“Heda! Permission to speak.” The guard asked. Like all your subordinates they had discipline.
“speak soldier,” Lexa said in her heda voice.
“Heda, Wanheda, both of you are needed at the training grounds. One of the Skaikru boys tried to touch the princess. Causing her to have a panic attack and the general to lash out at the boy. Some of the females with the boy are afraid of an escalation.” The guard spoke so fast that Clarke and Lexa almost didn’t catch all of it. The moment Clarke heard Madi was involved she started walking toward the training ground, not listening to Lexa who was calling after her.
Lexa took a moment to collect herself and thanked the guard, before going after her wife-turned-mamabear. She already felled sorry for whoever stood in her way.
Clarke was at the training grounds in no time. There she saw the Gona from a circle around you, Raven, Octavia, Lincoln and Bellamy. Dina was standing close to you ready to react to any situation. You were cradling Madi to your chest, trying to console the sobbing toddler.
Madi didn’t seem to be injured, neither did you. Bellamy on the other hand was sporting a big red line around his neck. Steeling herself Clarke stepped forward to make her presence known. Bellamy was the first to approach her, like a kid rating out somebody to the teacher. You however stayed where you were, cuddling Madi close to your chest.
Instead of listening to Bellamy rambling Clarke made her way toward you and Madi. Laying a comforting hand on Madi’s back.
“Maid sweetheart, look who is here.” You whisper in your daughter's ear. Locking eyes with Clarke, conveying that it was a bad one. Very slowly Madi lifted her head from your shoulder and looked behind her. When she spotted her mommy, she started reaching out for her and you quickly handed her over to Clarke so she could soak in her mommy’s scent. The toddler sagged into the blond's hold immediately.
For some reason, Clarke’s and Lexa’s scents had always a calming effect on you and Madi.
“hey love, somebody told me you were cuddling with Mama. Mind if I join?” Clarke spoke in a tender tone, to not set Madi off again. That had happened in the past when she was overwhelmed too soon.
“Mama helped. Big emotions. Counted. Calmed.” Madi’s sentences were cut short, telling Clarke she hadn’t down completely.
“oh! You and Mama did the counting. Did it help?” Clarke was relieved when Madi nodded into her chest. While Clarke was talking to Madi you had positioned yourself in front of them with crossed arms and a death stare levelling Bellamy, who was trying to get closer.
“what made you feel the big emotions? Can you tell Mommy?”
“Man touched me,” Madi said burring her face back into Clarke’s chest.
“what man sweety?” Clarke Cöed as to not set her off again. without looking Madi pointed a finger toward Bellamy, who was trying to push past (Y/N). (Y/N) however, wasn’t bunching an inch. In the meantime, Raven and Octavia tried to pull Bellamy back.
“let me pass! I have to talk to Clarke.” He tried to sound intimidating, hoping you would let him pass.
“you upset my daughter, do you really think I’m just going to let you near her? No way in hell! If Clarke wants to talk to you she will come over here. Until then back off!” your voice was nothing more than a growl.
Clarke really had hoped Bellamy wasn’t involved. You already didn’t like him and this wasn’t helping. She could only hope to settle your mood before things escalated. Clarke still remembered the last time somebody touched Madi without permission. It was a warrior from Azgeda. He had quickly lost his hand and head. Then she hadn’t batted an eye at it. She hoped it didn’t turn into a brawl. You would level Bellamy with no problem, the only question was when you would stop once you started.
Clarke walked with Madi still clinging to her chest but stayed a couple of feet behind. Hoping this was enough distance for Madi. You immediately sensed Clarke come up behind you, turning partly around so you can look at her and Madi, still preventing Bellamy from getting closer. Clarke knew her next words would be hard for their friends but she had to think about her daughter and wife first. She could talk to her friends later, but first, she had to defuse the situation.
“I think all of you should return to camp until things have calmed down,” Clarke said while looking at her friends. Raven and Octavia seemed to understand, Lincoln respected the words of his kwin. They also knew that if they stayed longer and Bellamy did something stupid, they would be putting Clarke on the spot. Bellamy however started immediately pushing against you to get to Clarke.
“Clarke! Please listen to me. I didn’t mean to do this.”
“Back off!” you got into the shaggy-haired boy's face and pushed him back.
“you come here, make my daughter cry and now you dare to make demands toward our kwin. I should skin you alive for that.” This finally makes Bellamy back down with a loud gulp.
“General!” there was an edge to Clarke’s voice that told you you were getting onto thin ice. It made you back down just a little. The last thing you wanted to do was upset your wife.
“we will leave for now,” Raven said, pulling Bellamy back toward the camp. Leaving you and your family as the only ones in the training ground. The gona had scattered already, knowing nothing good came from upsetting their kwin when she was in mama-bear mode.
Lexa arrived at the exact moment the Skaikru left. You had turned around to look at Clarke. The blond looked anything but happy. Believing it to be best for you and Clarke to talk about whatever the issue was. So Lexa took Madi from Clarke's arms and retreated toward the tent.
“let’s go Madi. Mommy and Mama need to talk.”
“mad?” Madi asked.
“don’t know bug. Why don’t we go find something to eat and wait for them?”
“What the hell is wrong with you? You could have taken Bellamy’s head off today.” Clarke exploded the moment Madi and Lexa were gone. Now that everything had sunken in, Clarke had gotten angry with you. Her reaction made your anger surface again. why was she angry with you?
“He upset Madi. I just reacted on instinct.” You say between clenched teeth, not wanting to snap at Clarke.
“That was an over-the-top reaction. Bellamy didn’t know Madi would react like that.” Clarke counters, while stepping close to you. Like she wanted another response from you. At this point, you had a hard time not glaring at your wife.
“If it had been anybody else but that Skaikru boy we wouldn’t be having this conversation.”
“ you went too far. You acted like a sa…” Clarke seemed to catch herself at the last moment, but you knew what she was going to say. You had heard it often enough. The dark part in you that you had suppressed for so long reared its ugly head and you could feel your emotions freeze. Looming over Clarke you glared at her.
“say it.” A moment passed and it stayed quiet.
“say it!” the ringing of your voice surprised Clarke. She had never seen you like this.
“Savage.” The word was nothing more than a whisper but you could hear her loud and clear. Did your wife really think of you like that? You could stand for everybody else thinking you were a monster but not your family.
“maybe Clarke I am nothing more than a savage beast, pretending to be something else.” With that, you walked away and into the woods, leaving Clarke alone.
The moment you left a pang rang through Clarke. What had she done, she had never seen you so cold toward her before. When Clarke finally turned around she, you were gone.

The fierce and broken
Pairing: Raven Reyes × reader
Warnings: Mentions of smut, swearing
Chapter: 3.01
Soon as the door to your room is closed, you peel the sweaty vest top from your body and toss it to the side. The whiteness of it had long faded into a light yellowish stain, no doubt due to your body dripping of sweat at the end of each shift and the stour that seemed to constantly cover everything in Arkadia.
“Hey.”
You turn around to see Raven coming out of the bathroom with nothing but a towel. Although she’s smiling, you can tell she’s in pain by how her jaw tenses. It was a short distance between the bedroom and bathroom, but it took a lot out of her to walk it without her brace. Since the explosion at the dam three months prior, the pain in her hip had increased, but Raven was in denial about how bad her injury was and was refusing to talk about it. She sits on the edge of the bed, the wetness from her long hair dripping onto the bed. Although she was smiling, Raven appeared exhausted.
“You okay?”
“I’m fine, just tired.”
“Raven,” you sigh. Your girlfriend was the most stubborn person you’d ever met, and point blank refused to admit how much pain she’s in while walking. You step in front of her and ask, “Is there anything I can do to help?”
She grins, “well…” She hooks her fingers into the loop of your jeans and pulls you forward. “I can think of a couple of things that might help us both feel better.”
“Raven,” you moan as she starts to rub at your groin, putting pressure on all the right places.
She pulls you down and captures your lips with hers. She unclasps your bra, pulls it off your shoulders, and then tosses it to the side. Raven kisses your neck down to your breast and wraps her lips around one of your hardened nipples. She reaches for the zipper on your trousers, but you catch her hand. “Slow down, Reyes,” you giggle. “I need to shower before we go any further.”
She smirks, “I can join you.”
You do your best to plaster a smile on your face. Your girlfriend was the most beautiful person in the world to you, and we wanted her to join you in the shower, but we’re worried she’d hurt herself without her brace. Knowing that mentioning the pain in her leg would only piss Raven off, you kiss her on the lips and say, “You could or you could get comfy in the bed while I quickly wash the medical smell off me.”
Raven pauses slightly but shuffles up the bed. “I’ll wait, but don’t be long. You know I hate waiting.”
You both laugh at her response before quickly going for a shower.
You kiss Raven's bare shoulder. She was leaving soon to travel to Sector 7 for a mapping mission, but the thought of her going scared you since it was so close to the ice nation border.
“What’s wrong?” She asks.
“I just… This is going to sound stupid, but I feel things have been going well for so long. I guess I’m just waiting for the other shoe to drop.”
Raven brushes your hair out of your face. Since Mount Weather, you had become inseparable, Murphy was gone, Jasper was constantly wasted, and Bellamy was still trying to find his role in Arkadia since he was no longer a leader. You had developed a fear that something terrible would happen and you’d lose Raven as well. The only time you were focused on anything else was when you were working or training with Bellamy.
Raven sighs softly. “Nothing bad is going to happen.”
“Do you really believe that?”
“No,” she snorts. “But we can get through whatever bad shit happens as long as we have each other.”
You spent most of your day tending to minor medical issues, including coughs and colds, removing stitches, and dealing with contraception. You had been so busy that you hadn’t had the chance to find out exactly what had happened to Jasper on the mapping mission. Octavia only told you that they ran into three ice nation warriors, and Jasper made the situation worse, resulting in Raven and Miller killing the warriors to save their people. Hearing what happened made you feel physically sick.
Octavia also told you that the Ice Nation was looking for someone called Wanheda.
Seeing Jackson about to follow Abby, who was chasing a drunk Jasper out of the medical bay, you call out to him. “Jackson, hey!"”
He looked more stressed than usual and had large bags under his eyes. “Something wrong?”
“We are running short of supplies.” You pull a list and hand it to him. “I went through all our stores earlier, and we are dangerously low. We only have enough stitches for two minor cuts; there are hardly any painkillers left.”
You had reported this to Abby days prior, but she was so preoccupied with finding Clarke that she hadn’t noticed. Jackson rubs at his face. “What else do you still have to do?”
“I have four more implants to remove, but nothing to replace them with.”
“Okay, once you’ve finished, I want you to go around the camp and pull all the resources you can together. I’m going to need to talk to Kane about organizing another supply run. Thanks Alba.”
It looked like you’d be working another late night.

Chapter 5 of Whims is posted!!
Fate is a funny thing. Just when you think you have your life planned out, destiny sweeps in and fucks it up. And the worst part? You're helpless to stop it. Like a boat without a rudder or anchor, floating from one end of the ocean to the next with no way to impede or change its direction. Next thing you know, you're stranded on an island with no hope of escape. That is destiny. Or Clarke's, at least.
Sometimes, fate's intervention is for the best. A meet-cute, of sorts, where two people destined to be together, whether as friends or lovers, share a random moment that changes everything. Usually, it is bumping into a stranger and spilling a drink all over their new shirt. Or two people who pass each other only moments apart at the same coffee shop for years before fate finally intervenes.
Clarke's parents had a charming little tale like that. They told it at dinner parties, anniversaries, and family gatherings more times than their daughter could count. But Clarke's first meeting with Lexa was nothing like the rom-coms on TV. Nor was it a tale to share with friends and family without extensive revisions. Still, it was clear that destiny had brought them together, though the reasons remained unclear for some time...
Clarke and Lexa's love was forbidden for many reasons, notably their different natures. Their people had been sworn enemies for centuries. So, by all rights, the wolf and vampire were born to despise one another. But fate doesn't give a damn if its intervention is untimely or unwanted. Destiny blazes its own path without care for the world's rules.
It all began on a particularly gruesome night. The pack was under tremendous pressure after a string of murders within Skaikru's territory had garnered the attention of humans. Skaikru couldn't risk mortals discovering their secret, especially after centuries of carefully integrating into mortal society. So, Clarke's mother and the pack's leader, Abby, ordered her to find the killer and bring them justice as swiftly as possible.
Of course, many assumed the vampires were to blame. Each slaying had occurred near the invisible border that marked Heda's territory. Furthermore, the victims had been exsanguinated with their bodies riddled with bite marks. Naturally, the wolves were eager to place the blame on their oldest enemies.
But they had to be sure before they broke a two-century-long treaty with the Vampire Queen, Heda. Which is why Abby specifically assigned her daughter to lead the hunt. Clarke may be the typical alpha, but she is more intelligent than most and often seeks peaceful solutions before resorting to violence. Furthermore, as a physician, Clarke was better qualified to inspect the crime scenes and sniff out the killer.
Additionally, Abby hoped this special mission would grant Clarke the opportunity to prove herself as the next pack leader. If her mother had known the chaos this assignment might bring, she likely would have chosen another to take Clarke's place. Perhaps if Abby had, her daughter would not have been dragged into a fight with hontas (hunters), nor would she have had the opportunity to fall in love with a bloodsucker.
There were countless times through the following centuries that Abby wished she'd sent anyone but Clarke. But she couldn't have known the mysterious killer had set a trap. Nor did they realize that wolves and vampires were the prey, not the hunters.

Sooo…funny story: I actually wasn’t going to write a Bellarke 4th of July holiday story since it’s strictly an American holiday & it felt a little weird. But then the amazingly wonderful @kateschechterxthorwasmyfirstotp wrote a comment on my Bellarke Father’s Day story that we really needed a Part 3 where we finally see Bellamy & Clarke confront Abby & Kane over how they should spend the holidays with their daughter. So I got inspired! I started writing…and I hated it. So I started over, wrote an entire story, and…I hated it. It was almost complete angst & if I’m writing a holiday story, it’s going to be fluffy, damn it! So I went back to the drawing board & realized what the problem was. The 4th of July isn’t just a holiday…it’s a party. And suddenly it was clear: you can’t have a Bellarke story about a party without including the Delinquents! So please, please, please come read my sorta 4th of July but mostly Bellarke Takes The Delinquents On Vacation & Hijinks and Surprises Ensue Holiday Story! (It’s really fun, I promise 🎆 🎇 )

Dealing with a lot of things at the moment: the start of my third year of uni with a heavy workload, writers block, my debilitating autoimmune diseases, etc. But, I'm working on a fic that doesn't fall into any of my usual fandoms: Captain Carter and Natasha Romanoff. It's far into the works, but it's coming along slowly.
After this fic is edited and published, I will work on my Supercorp series, then I'll chip away at some of my Ranya stories.
Are there any prompts you want to see in line with my Supercorp or Ranya series? I'm open to suggestions and hearing what you want to read.
Thanks for everyone's support. - KJ

Fanfic: Fighting for you

CLARKE GRIFFIN — being in a secret relationship would include...
fluff / minor angst
Tumblr media
pairing: clarke griffin x reader, reader x raven (sibling like relationship)
request: "where practically reader is raven’s sibling/sister and reader has a secret relationship wth clarke as to prevent like more dangers. one day raven catches clarke and reader cuddling and how it would play out since raven is older than reader and i believe that she’d be protective of her/them considering it’s her younger sibling/sister" from @nickeverdeen
Tumblr media
you should have told raven, before she found out like this
you and clarke hadn't been together for very long, only since landing on earth
growing up, you and raven had always been close
she was only two years older than you, but she was like an older sister
when you were arrested, raven was heartbroken
she didn't want you to die..
but of course that never happened
you were sent to earth, where you met clarke
you quickly befriended the girl, and was a great help in setting up communications
and when raven landed, you were just over the moon
despite the threat of the grounders
even though clarke and raven didn't get on at first, you still remained close with them both
raven was wary of clarke because of finn
and clarke just felt guilty
but when clarke was hurting, and you were the one to hold her as she cried, she couldn't help but fall for you.
she knew it was wrong, so she kept it a secret
it was only on one peaceful night at arkadia that she had confessed her feelings
you had been drinking, the both of you
and it was the way that your smile lit up the room, and the way your hair shone in the lights
she just let it slip
"i love you y/n"
that sobered you up slightly
"come on princess, let's get you to bed."
you helped move her to her room, but when you turned to leave she grabbed your wrist and pulled you to her
"i do, i love you" she whispered
then she kissed you
and when you kissed back, it was the happiest moment of her life
clarke pulled you into bed with her, and she fell asleep in your arms.
the next morning, when the two of you were fully sober, you had a proper talk
you confessed to loving her too
but you both agreed that it would be better to keep it from raven, you didn't want to cause more problems
and neither of you were really prepared to go public with it, considering clarke's long list of enemies
this worked out well for a couple weeks
you would only kiss and cuddle in private, in your own rooms/tents
and you would just act like normal friends in public
minus the longing gazes from across the room
raven didn't suspect a thing
but one morning, after clarke had spent the night with you and you had fallen asleep cuddling, raven came calling
in her haste she forgot to shout your name, entering your space without thinking as she had done so many times before
however, the sight that she was greeted with...
you and clarke, naked but covered by the blanket, cuddling.
"y/n? clarke?"
bless her she was so confused
she didn't want to think that her younger sister would do something so stupid
clarke of all people?
raven knew it was only a matter of time before clarke would hurt you...
"uh, maybe i should leave? clarke uttered sheepishly, already gathering her clothes
raven threw a shirt at you, not even looking at clarke
once the blonde had left, raven started pacing in front of the bed that you sat on, now dressed
"look raven-"
"no! no y/n what the hell?" raven scolded you, "how could you keep this from me? you know how i feel about her!"
"exactly, thats why i didn't tell you. i'm sorry raven but we knew you wouldn't approve, and we weren't really ready to go public yet either."
raven was silent for an unnerving amount of time before she finally spoke
"how- how long have you been together?"
raven didn't look as angry anymore, just disappointed that you hadn't told her
"a few weeks.."
raven shook her head and and turned from you, clearly exasperated
"if she hurts you, i will kill her."
with that, the mechanic left you, and even if that wasn't complete approval, it was something
you knew you would have to make it up to her, but that would come in time. raven could never stay mad at you for long
when you told clarke she was overjoyed
but slightly nervous at the threat
of course she had no intentions of harming you, she loved you too much.

⭑ Forehead kisses
⭑ Secretly, Octavia feels inadequate. Like she doesn’t deserve to be loved. Especially after what happened to Lincoln, she thought there was no one out there for her. That her soulmate had died when he did. But she was wrong.
⭑ No one messes with you because of her reputation
⭑ She’s always ready to fight anyone who wants to talk shit about you
⭑ She likes PDA actually. It’s almost a dominant thing where she wants everyone to know that you’re taken.
⭑ Always makes sure you’re safe. She couldn’t bare if anything happened to you.
⭑ Quick chaste kisses before a battle
⭑ Teaching you the best techniques so you’ll be able to look after yourself
⭑ Deciding that you’re each other’s forever person. So you love one another forever and always.
⭑ Very affectionate; she likes to be held by you, lean her forehead against yours, hold your hand to her cheek.
⭑ She loves it when you put your head on her shoulder
⭑ Usually bathing together - not in a sexual way. Just helping each other out. It’s doing these everyday tasks that depression can creep up on Octavia. You found her crying with wet hair, half-washed and cold. So from that moment, you accompany her. You don’t mind at all. She really appreciates it.
⭑ People wondering why you’re together - thinking you’re too pure for Octavia. But you always give those people a stern glare or even defend your relationship, when you’ve had enough.
⭑ When you’re in bed together, she’ll turn over and curl up into your side.
⭑ Her being scared of telling you all the things she’s done, the decisions she’s made -
⭑ She thinks you deserve better. That she’s tainted in some way; a darkness in her that won’t go away. But you’re like a light in that darkness. You chase it away.
⭑ Making her absentmindedly smile
⭑ You have a big sense of humor and constantly have Octavia in stitches
⭑ Loves it when you play with her hair
⭑ Especially when you braid it
Relationship Tropes:
Two Broken People Healing Together
Grounded & Strong-willed x Overdramatic Dumbass
Dark & Broody x Ray of Sunshine
NSFW🔞minors dni!
⭑ She switches between being slow and sensual to fast and rough. Depending on how she’s feeling that day and what’s happened. If she’s had a tough day, then get ready to be ravished.
⭑ Likes looking into your eyes when her fingers are inside you
⭑ Whispers praise into your ear
⭑ She gets jealous when other people look at you, so she likes to remind you who you belong to.
⭑ Octavia will leave bite marks and hickeys all over your body
⭑ A lot of dry humping
⭑ She really likes your smell, and will bury her nose into her neck to inhale as much of it as she can
⭑ Is a switch, which might be a bit shocking. But Octavia does like to be dominated.
⭑ She loves hearing you moan her name
⭑ Morning sex
⭑ Sex before bed
⭑ Great at looking after you when you’ve both orgasmed. She’ll hold you tight and make sure you’re comfortable.
“I love you,” she’d croak. Her voice hitched in her throat.

Bellamy Blake doesn’t consider himself an important man, but he’s always had a destiny: to marry the glamorous beauty Echo de Winter, and take over his father’s business. And that’s fine. It’s not his passion, but it’s…fine.

pairings. bellamy blake x fem!reader
about. bellamy saves your ass, again.
Tumblr media
warnings. foul language, murder
ricky rocks. follow me lol, i’m cool
“what’s wrong?” you were drawn away from your thoughts, glancing to raven. her hands tightly gripped the steering wheel of the rover while looking to you in a slightly anxious manner. “you haven’t spoken the whole ride.”
kane had gotten a call about twenty minutes ago about there being a breach and half the guard team was already gone. there was no one to cover the call except you.
“i got this,” you were already slinging on your guard jacket before kane could say anything, he had never intended on you hearing the beep in but there you were with your eager eyes and ease dropping ears.
he frowned, shaking his head, “no, it’s too dangerous out there.”
you looked at kane dumbfounded, your frown curving deeper into your cheeks making you look older and increasing the darkness within your features, “i can handle myself out there.”
he knew you could, he wasn’t worry about that. kane was more concerned about reasons he wasn’t about to speak aloud, especially to your face in fear of risking setting you off.
“you’re not going.”
“kane,” you gave him a pointed look, shoving your gun in the loop of your belt. you continued to defy him, causing his stomach to wrench up, he didn’t want to yell at you. “i can handle myself out there.”
“if you go,” he began to slowly cave from his original statement, leaning against the metal table separating the two of you, “i want someone out there with you.”
“bellamy isn’t here.”
bellamy was always your scout partner when either one of you were sent out of arkadia to scope out whatever needed to be scoped out. both of you would have been well enough without one another but it was always nice to have company, especially company like bellamy’s.
“you’re going with me, sweetheart,” raven appeared out of nowhere, patting your back as she begun to climb in the driver seat of the rover with a slight struggle due to her leg.
you almost resisted the urge to clench your jaw too hard. you loved raven but you would have really preferred to take this trip alone, especially after what had happened last time; you were with miller, completely throwing you off due to him having a completely different style when it came to scouting arkadia outer grounds than bellamy.
bad things happened.
“bellamy?” you had turned head rather fast, now holding eye contact with the hazel eyed girl, her nervousness had eased off as if coming to the conclusion to your quietness.
“what?” “you'd rather be with bellamy, right?” “i’d rather be by myself,” you grumbled, sulking deeper into the passenger seat. you felt guilty for doing so, raven had nothing to do with your own problems but you really would rather be alone with how everyone had been treating you recently.
“too bad.”
once you had arrived upon the breach you had gotten out of the car rather fast with your hand clutching the hand gun looped with your belt tightly, making it hard for raven to keep up, seeing the determination within your steps.
“slow down, cowgirl,” she yelled after you, almost tripping multiple times as she tried to increase her pace. “there’s no rush.”
“this is ice nations sector, reyes,” you called back, “there is no time to slow down.”
you broke through a large section of trees and branches soon revealing a scene that took you by surprise. it made you raise your gun just as quick as you had gasped.. and soon raven ended up in the same position of surprisal.
before the two of you, bellamy and octavia were knocked out propped up against a tree tied together while a man who’s face was painted white pointed his staff toward you in threat. you kept your composure at the sight with your gun still held in height of his head.
“don’t shoot.”
“you’re not helping.”
“y/n, don’t. don’t do something dumb,” her voice rang through your ears and you suddenly felt hot and your head felt light with pressure spiking, making the rest of your body feel numb. “y/n?”
“reyes, go.”
“you’re about to do something you’re going to regret.”
“you’re about to do something you’re going to regret.”
your vision cleared and became leveled with a man from trikru. his smile was strange and split and made your head spin with uncomfortableness.
he had you surrounded. you and miller.
“you’re not going to shoot me.”
“try me,” you narrowed your brows as you looked between him and to the men next to him, as you were sure miller was doing the same but to the men he was facing. the two of you were back to back, guns raised high in defense.
“we don’t mean any harm,” miller’s voice butts in and he tries to reason as his voice calls to the man you were talking to. you clenched your jaw, miller was almost making you both look foolish. “just let us go.”
“oh i’ll let you go. it’s her that’s gotta stay.”
“i’ll shoot you.”
“those are some powerful words,” he shifts towards you and you’re quick to cock the gun. he flinches but smiles as he still makes small movements toward you till you just… shot him, setting off a chain reaction of the rest of the men launching toward you.
and bang, bang, bang—three more bodies dead on the ground with your simple aim and no hesitation.
miller only injured the other two with a look on his face that you wouldn’t forget. he looked at you with an almost petrified expression—one that read he couldn’t believe what you had just done.
“we need to go.”
“we need to go.”
you were being shaken lightly until your eyes pealed open fast, meeting the feeling of bellamy’s hand lightly holding your face with an urgent look on his own, looking all around before back to your face, “c’mon, get up, kid. we’ve got to go.”
he pulls you to your feet fast where raven and octavia are already hauling it to the rover and the man from ice nation laid on the ground, dead.
“please tell me that wasn’t me.”
“don’t worry,” bellamy gripped your arm while pushing you to go faster toward the rover. right before the man knocked octavia and him out, it wasn’t just him, there was at least two more. they must have gone scavenging, leaving that man to himself, which in hindsight wasn’t smart at all to leave one against two.
“you passed out,” raven looked back to you from her position in the drivers seat. “i think you’re under a lot of stress.”
no kidding.
you glanced to bellamy who was already looking to you and you half expected him to lecture you, like he always did, especially with the look on his face. he was always so adamant with keeping yourself stable, to take breaks, and make sure you were always alright—especially when situations got tough. but right now he didn’t, he kept his mouth shut.
you and bellamy were very similar. he knew it too and it scared him, because he didn’t want any of the things that ran through his mind, going through your own. you were both very self destructive and that wasn’t something he realized until mount weather—a point in time where he learned a lot about you.
“what’re we going to do?” octavia looked to raven who was still breathless, gripping the steering wheel tightly.
she could barely think straight without her mind straying to ten minutes before, “we go to kane, we tell him what happened and we continue on with our day. this isn’t the first time irrational decisions have gotten the best of us.”
she resisted looking at you, but she didn’t have to in order for you to know she was halfway referring to you.
you tipped your head back in despair, wishing you could redo the past month.
* *
“explain to me how a scouting mission ends up with someone dead,” you bit your tongue, already feeling a harsh lecture coming as kane stared at raven gingerly who was barely keeping her composure. she was very fiery whenever it came to discussions like this and defending her own, but the dead body must have thrown her off.
“listen, bellamy and octavia were both in danger-“
“doesn’t give us a right to kill ice nation’s people. our pact with them is barely hanging on by a thread.”
“we didn’t mean for this to happen, kane,” you spoke, defending raven from the rouse he was pressuring her with, but you instantly regretted it when he looks to you, like he hadn’t even noticed you yet.
“you killed four grounders, y/n. you understand that right? and now you go and kill someone apart of ice nation. do you understand what that does to us?” kane’s expression and words catch you off gaurd and causes your chest to tighten. he was never someone you expected to be so jarring. he had been giving you the benefit of the doubt for the past month, so seeing him snap so fast took you aback. “you’ve become unhinged. you don’t think straight anymore.”
“she didn’t kill him,” bellamy takes a step in front of you out of instinct.
“then who did?” he raises his voice, “because i’m looking between all four of you right now and only one of you is coming out as a valid option.”
“it was all three of us,” octavia speaks, “y/n, got knocked out before she could do anything. like you said, she hasn’t been thinking straight lately because she’s been under a lot of pressure.”
you could tell kane didn’t believe a word she said by the way he paused, clenching his jaw. it was looking like they were only trying to cover for you right now, and you couldn’t blame him.
“i can’t deal with this right now, we’ll talk about this later.”

“he’s going to kick me from camp.”
you sat on bellamy’s bed as he begun to change from his disoriented attire from earlier that day. after abby had patched him up from the gash he had on the side of his head and made sure you were still doing alright, you both begun to talk about the past month, essentially leading back to kane.
you felt you hadn’t seen bellamy in forever, and it was practically true due to kane setting you both up with different guard partners and assigning you both to tasks at different times for the past five weeks. hence, how you got mixed up with miller in the first place.
it was almost as if it was purposeful…
“he’s not going to kick you from camp.”
“he has no reason not to.”
“y/n, why would he?”
“i killed people, bellamy,” you looked at him, dumbfounded. “for no reason.”
“for good reason,” he corrected you, now kneeling before you. “kane is under a lot of pressure right now, and what happened to you didn’t help. he’s worried about a lot of things, and he doesn’t want to worry about you.”
“he said i’m unhinged.”
“we all are,” he squeezed your knee, getting back to his feet. “you need to stop worrying. you did nothing wrong today.”
“what do you think he’s going to say later?” you questioned.
“stop worrying, princess,” he gave you a pointed look. “what’s the worse that can happen?”

“i don’t want either of you to be partners, you’re both bad for each other. i’ve realized that now for the past two months,” kane folded his hands, delivering the worse news before you and bellamy. “y/n, i was in between full suspension and five week suspension from your position, it’s up to you.”
you looked a kane with narrowed brows, completely dumbfounded and not knowing what to say. you should have seen it coming, he had been preparing the two of you for this by scheduling you both different times and you felt like a fool for not realizing it till now.
“kane, that is irrational,” bellamy shook his head, “we’re both your best and you’re going to risk it over her messing up once. i can hardly see how we’re bad for each other, when we get things done better than any one else on the guard.”
“once is enough.”
you frowned hard, “the only reason i messed up was because i was with miller. because you scheduled me with him. bellamy is not the reason i shot trikru. miller just threw me off because i’m not used to the way he clears.”
kane shook his head, “you shouldn’t be like that. you’re a guard, y/n, you should be prepared for anything, not ‘thrown off’ just because miller runs a totally different route than you and bellamy.”
you couldn’t believe him, “you can’t be serious. kane, you have my answer, you can implement a full suspension.. or whatever,” you rolled your eyes, getting to your feet but bellamy’s quick to pull you back down in your seat.
“she gets a different partner or full suspension, you can expect the same thing from me,” he pressed his lips into a thin line knowing kane wouldn’t accept that. bellamy was the best they had, and without him, the ark would most likely fail.
“you can’t do that,” kane shakes his head, “bellamy.”
“then you fix this,” he still held your wrist as he spoke with a stern tone, “you suspend her five weeks, but you keep her as my partner, you schedule us same time like how it used to be. otherwise you lose the both of us.”
bellamy didn’t understand how kane didn’t realize that you were only under the right mindset when with him. you were irrational with unfamiliarity, its something about that, that freaked you out, but with bellamy, there was a level of control and focus that he could only bring.
kane looked hesitant, glancing between the two of you before focusing on bellamy, “you keep her tame then.”
a deal was made. you were kept partners with bellamy but you still couldn’t help but be angered by the way they spoke like you weren’t there. you were happy with the outcome and you were sure the only reason it happened was because bellamy did all the talking.
“you owe me.”
you rolled your eyes, “you did yourself a favor.”
bellamy scoffed, his eyebrow curving, “really?”
“you know you couldn’t survive a day without me on the job.”
“funny,” he shook his head, “because i was thinking the same thing about you.”
you smiled, but hesitated, “thank you. you saved my ass, again.”
“you’re good, you just owe me,” he winked, “now get ready for your shift.”
