My professor took off a point from one of my scripts because I labelled a character as Nonbinary, and he claims I should've left the gender description blank because "it's not necessary for this character", as if "nonbinary" is a placeholder for "I don't care what gender" I am actually going to tear him to shreds

#This is hands down the worst professor I've ever had in my life this is the guy I've ranted about before who is so fucking pretentious #And treats us like we're all inherently going to fail at scriptwriting/film in general as if he's the all knowing being on that #Like oh I'm sorry how many scripts of yours have been produced? Oh what's that? NONE? started watching poor things. my review so far is that it has not changed my mind about finding emma stone inherently annoying

#ppl going crazy about her acting in this....... does it get better bc at the moment she's just pretending to be a toddler? #i feel like in drama class it was commonly accepted that pretending to be a child was much easier than pretending to be any kind of adult #like. we would give those roles to people who were bad at acting #i like the movie so far but i feel like any praise for her performance is far more deserved by the scriptwriter/director/alasdair gray #but maybe it is just because of my irrational dislike of emma stone #idk #🧃

had class today, and got assigned my first script writing assignment. we’re tasked with writing a one page scene where a character has a secret and tries to hide it. doesn’t need to be in scriptwriting format, but can’t have dialogue. when she told us about it i almost laughed; the universe must be taunting me. after class i got my allergy shot and went to the mall and target to restock on some things with two of my roommates.

Perhaps i'm still gonna be taking classes after i get my degree fgdfhgfgxdf #she made the other valid point of 'you have the money and the time because you don't pay bills' and i mean #she keeps hitting the nail on the head; this woman #makes me think i should take a kind of fiction writing class next to the scriptwriting one #and an article writing one for good measure just to see what i like most #a class with an accreditation Much Preferred!! #thinking an online one from an Actual university as well since mine's only a city college #and not to be rude but i don't think they'll have specifically scriptwriting #THAT SAID my current only magazine guy STILL hasn't posted my article #he gave it the okay three times with no editing at all; still crickets!!!!! #he really just wants me to drive to the old part of town and take pictures of the beach arts market art classes huh #at least have the decency to finally post my other thingy; went to downtown for that!!! #though lucky for where i live i feel. vaguely eqidistant from a lot of town. so #he still needs to email me the classes though grrrrrr )

officially enrolled in 15 credits this semester, 24 hours a week of which being just drawing alone. how quickly will I go off the rails and jump off a bridge? let’s find out!
