Hello! I’m Ladders :)

I'm just here stylizing some fnaf characters and mostly drawing the evil green rabbit like an animated villain.

Basically, I always loved animated shows and movies. They're why I started drawing when I was little, and I still watch and pull ideas from that kind of stuff to this day. Classic Disney's my fav, so you might see me talking about it sometimes. Anyways, since villains are my favorite and since I've starting drawing fnaf stuff, it's mainly been art of Springtrap, which you'll see a lot here.

Q: What art program do you use? Krita. It's free and it "works," which is all I ask for.

Q: Do you do commissions? This answer will change around: currently, no. I've been meaning to, honestly, but just haven't felt collected enough to make a comm sheet and whatnot. Hopefully I'll be able to update this soon though.

Q: What are your other socials? I currently don't have any others, so if you see my art somewhere else, it's stolen :)

Q: Why do you draw [insert character] like that? I normally get this question about Springtrap, but I like to make designs that lend themselves more to 2D animation, which means simplifying a lot of things and hopefully still being able to get the point across. Too much detail and it becomes complicated very quickly. Fnaf animatronics/characters lend themselves really nicely to stylization because of how simple in concept they are overall. They're also left up to a lot of different characterization potential, not just from their simple designs, but the fact that they don't really get super hard-established personalities. Basically, all of that comes together into me enjoying taking a base concept and turning it into something you could potentially see in some older hand-drawn cartoon. As far as *specific* choices for how I draw *specific* characters, I feel like those would each need their own posts especially for Springtrap since I draw him the most. I know I'll have to make that sometime.

Q: Can I draw fanart of your designs? Of course! I'd just like to be credited and tagged so I can see it and reblog it :D

Hello there!!

I'm Starrzies, but I also go by Rodimus!! Of these two names I prefer my nicknames (Starrz/Roddy) more than the formality of my full username/chosen name!! I'm 19 and a full time college student! (I want to become a Forensic Pathologist!) My pronouns are He/They ONLY and my chosen gender identity is Demiboy! I'm also Aroace, my specific labels being Cupioromantic/sexual!

I'm just a silly little guy trying to do his best. I am a hobbyist artist and writer and I love to share what I come with in the hopes that other people will enjoy it as much as I do! I tend to post art related to my own characters, art I've done for other people and - more rarely - fandom related art! I also stream on Twitch!!! Usually it's art streams (especially for Art Fight!) or me playing my games - either solo or with other people! I've been in relationships before! However, I generally only feel platonic love for people around me. I genuinely love (/p) all of my friends and you'll see me make that very clear! I am NOT interested in relationships, especially after this most recent one. Things have gotten complicated AF and I don't even want to bother entertaining anyone.

I have a Decepticon Insignia Tattoo on my left wrist! My first tattoo ever and I LOVE it so much! I will be going back in October for hopefully, my second tattoo!

I own a 2001 Ford Mustang!! It's a convertible too! I ADORE my car so much and there is so much I have planned for it!!

I own 4 dogtags! They are NOT military related at all though! They just have special meaning to me and I've been wearing them since 2018! I did actually let someone borrow one of them for a decent amount of time but it was returned to me! I don't think I'm ever going to let them go again, they mean too much to me.

Ravage is named after the TF character! :D He was my little gaming buddy back when I was fostering a litter of kittens for my senior project. I ended up keeping him, I got too attached. Now he is best friends with Ember!

Hiraeth was a TOTAL accident. I was supposed to just have her mom but she was pregnant much to our surprise! (Someone was getting rid of her, probably because they knew she was pregnant, and gave her to us without telling us that lol) I was allowed to keep Hiraeth but none of the other cats were allowed :( They all went to loving homes though!

Discord is my main, preferred way of communication!! I always have it open on my second monitor so I tend to respond really quickly on there :) You should totally add me on there! I'm under the same username ;)

The Lov’s bonds with each other are all they have + Dabi Recovery Theories

(Second Side Meta) (Spoiler warning, short meta + theories)

It doesn’t really matter if the Lov inner relationships are unhealthy or if they encourage their worse traits because they don’t have anyone else but each other, even at this current point in the manga.

Excluding Dabi, maybe.

Shigaraki’s family is dead, Toga’s parents were horrible and Spinner’s family was presumably close to the same as he never mentioned them or at least they’re not present in his life.

And while we don’t know much about Compress’s family other than his Grandfather being a “peerless Thief”, the fact that he wound up in the Lov implies that he doesn’t have much, if anything, going for him either.

The individual members of the Lov have nothing to go back to and no one from their pasts that they could depend on in any circumstances.

So the small and pitfall ridden bonds that they share with one another are their only human connection and what connects them to their own humanity.

(I don’t really have any concrete proof that this ^ scene isn’t a manipulation on Dabi’s part but the art framing and overall plot relevance of the scene heavily implies that it isn’t a manipulation but genuine in its sentiment.)

Showing tears for others (Toga), their loyalty to others (Spinner and compress), and that despite everything they’re still themselves (Dabi and hopefully in future coming chapters Shigaraki too).

Whether these sentiments and actions have a good result is nearly irrelevant, as the actions and feelings themselves drive the Lov on the only path to survival that is currently available to them while at the same time showing that they do still have many forms of Love inside them.

And the path that they’re currently on is still definitely the only path that could have a chance of them surviving, because the Hero Kids are not where they need to be in the saving department yet.

(This ^ does not inspire confidence.)

Unless it’s made clear that when the hero kids say they intend to stop/save their respective villains, they mean not only from death but also from being locked up to rot in prison forever, and they’re willing to actually fight in anyway that’s needed to make sure that doesn’t happen, the hero kid’s intentions don’t mean anything.

Because obviously throwing the Lov in prison isn’t saving them, there’s no way the hero kids can save the villain’s hearts from outside of a metal box (a key theme of saving in Bnha is saving the Heart).

That’s not even saving the Lov’s lives either really, because that’s just another form of killing them slowly and depending on perspective, with even more cruelty.

Dabi is both different and similar, as he does still have his family that does care about him but his future with them is still very uncertain.

They all came together to save Touya and each other which is good but Natsuo then saying that things will be “Hell” from now on, whatever that means, leaves Dabi’s fate on pretty much one of only two paths.

With Hero Society or with the Todoroki Family.

It can’t be both, because after everything that’s happened and the parts Dabi played in trying to take down the current system, Hero society won’t let him be saved in any way that could really count as saving.

Dabi Recovery Theories

Personally, what I think should happen, if the Todoroki’s are really intending to follow through on saving Touya and making sure that he can make a full(ish) recovery, is fake his death.

Someone as connected/wealthy as Endeavor must have access to private medical facilities, someplace they could stash Touya to keep him alive.

And with some heroes loyal to Endeavor or Shoto, or if they’re capable of exiting the area themselves with the help of the rest of the Todoroki family, take Touya and escape, hiding him there while saying that the villain Dabi fully incinerated himself in the near explosion.

Dabi is dead to the world but Touya can live and heal.

It’s pretty clear from the framing that Touya will live but for how exactly he would survive with his current injuries and fully recover, I have three theories.

The first theory being that with the right medical attention, Dabi could simply survive more or less as is.

A simple thought but plausible, because excluding one of his arms and some outer muscle lost, Dabi’s injuries aren’t so much worse than what he already went through and survived as a child.

As long as his insides aren’t burned up (which they aren’t thanks to the appearance of his dormant Ice Quirk), he should be able to survive with medical attention.

And for making a full recovery (maybe not exactly a ‘Full recovery’ in this case as while they could feasibly replace his lost skin, the burned muscle might be different story) prosthetic limbs are pretty common in Bnha’s world, with even Compress being able to get his hands on a metal arm while on the run with the Lov.

The second theory is using Eri’s rewind Quirk, using medical equipment to ensure Dabi survives long enough for Eri’s horn (her power) to regrow and rewind Dabi to a state before he was so severely burned.

This is another simple solution (personally not a fan of this one) but entirely possible, although the heroes continually using Eri to solve their injuries/problems is a bit sketch (even the heroes admit that), so there is one very interesting theory left I can think of.

The Third theory: The heroes (specifically Endeavor) could try to use the imprisoned Doctor Garaki and the high-end Nomu to save and heal Dabi.

By transferring the high-end Nomu’s regeneration quirk (something all the high-ends have, implying that the power can be replicated and transferred) to Dabi, using the doctor’s knowledge and previous experience of “grafting quirks” onto other beings (the Doctor said he could accomplish this action even without the AFO Quirk).

As for how this scenario would be possible, Endeavor would finally have to step up as a Father instead of as a hero, in fact risking his life/status as a hero.

Either by forcefully taking the Doctor and the Nomu from Prison himself or by leveraging his status as the Number one hero (what’s left of it) to force this plan to happen for Dabi’s sake.

And I personally think that this would be a great ending to Endeavor’s story as a hero, if he truly does regret everything he did.

Endeavor risking or sacrificing everything he personally has left (his hero existence) in the present to help the Son he chose not to show up for in the past, finally putting Touya first to fully save him from the flames.

That seems like good narrative storytelling to me.

he hasn't forgotten the gift you gave him a month ago.

it was just a small pouch of handmade chocolates, yet he was moved by the honesty of the present. he hadn't understood valentine's day, and he still doesn't, but from what he's heard from hu tao and zhongli, a month after february 14th comes white day, where he'll give you a gift himself.

at least, that was what the two of them suggested.

and he intended to follow that advice. remembering the warm, unusual but pleasant feeling that had arose through his body when you had handed him the sweets, smiling softly... he wanted to give you that feeling too. he wanted to make you as happy as you had made him, in that moment.

and xiao isn't a great cook, not by any means, but he tries his best to learn. with the help of several friends and the wangshu inn boss, verr goldet, he manages to make... a presentable gift. when he gives it a small taste test, it seems to be edible, at least, and still somewhat retains its intended heart shape. it's a little oddly colored, wobbly in some parts, but he's satisfied with it.

and so the day finally comes. he's prepared a speech, or more like a couple sentences, to say to you, if you're willing to hear it.

"love. i have something for you."

"oh, xiao! and you really don't have to-"

"you gave me a gift, so i have to return the favor." his face his flushed red from where he's hiding it with his gloved hand desperately, his other hand holding out the small wrapped pouch that he had spent hours on trying to tie on the perfect beaded ribbon. "h-here. take it."

you gingerly held the bag, as if it might disappear, then stared up at the red-faced man with eyes full of wonder. "this... this is for me?"

"d-don't get any wrong ideas. it was only because adepti... adepti honor the holidays of you mortals."

you laugh, a delightful sound that only causes the male to redden deeper.

"right."

there's a fact that's not known to many - and it's that commissioner kamisato ayato actually is quite fond of sweets.

it's something you learn with time as you gradually note how every time you visit the kamisato estate, ayato always has some form of chocolate, mochi, even candy, the kind that inazuman kids eat, in a little round dish on his desk.

so when feburary rolls around, you decide to gift ayato something. you're not exactly sure what, but it's going to be sweet. and what better fitting than some valentine's day chocolate? it takes a bit of work, though to be fair, you do know your way about the kitchen slightly better than the average person. not much of an advantage, but an advantage nonetheless.

and when the 14th comes and you present your finished treats to the azul-haired man himself, his reaction surprises you. with sparkling eyes, he gently takes the pouch from you, before glancing at you, then back at the gift.

"for me? really?"

"yep! hopefully you'll like it." you grin sheepishly. "this was my first time making this sort of thing, so if it doesn't taste great, just tell me. i can always try and make another batch, if that's what you want."

"don't worry, i'll like it."

and since then, for the past month, he's been thinking about that moment. he wants to pay you back, but not just that. he wants to let you know that he did appreciate it. all of it.

hence, he's come up with a solution - to gift you chocolates himself.

he's lucky that white day is quite the popular holiday in inazuma, otherwise he wouldn't have the excuse to pull it off. he contacts you beforehand, and you respond your agreement to meet up, completely oblivious.

"this. this is for you, sweet." he smiles softly while he says the name, placing the small gift in your outstretched palms. he takes note of every expression that flits across your face - confusion, then surprise, finishing off with a happy yet flustered gaze. he knew you too well, well enough to read your face like a book.

"me?" even as you ask it, you take the pouch and hold it tightly in your hands, eyes wide with the suddenness of it all.

"who else? of course i meant you, the most beautiful and kind person in the whole of teyvat."

itto... is an interesting case.

you're fond of him, that much is true. and you're good friends with him also - the two of you are close. yet why does he always... try to impress you?

at first its almost unnoticeable. he reports to you about his wins and mutters his losses at the end of each day, where you're nodding along, already half asleep.

but after you give him some homemade chocolates for valentine's, that behavior had spiked. whenever you saw him, which was often, he would only recount to you about how he had beaten this one child and how he won this and that and how kuki had made him return whatever he had taken as his victory spoils... it wasn't annoying, per say, but you did wish to know why he was doing all of this.

itto just wants to impress you, is all.

he's been wanting to pay you back after you gifted him those chocolates on valentine's, but he just hasn't found the right thing! - until now. itto isn't a man who really follow schedules, a calendar, or reason, but he does somehow know that white day is coming up, a holiday that was sort of like reverse valentine's. and that meant he could finally pay that debt.

"hey hey! you free this afternoon?" itto inquires of you in the morning, while you just stare at him, groggy-eyed and still off floating somewhere in sleep mode.

"huh? yeah... i'm free." you yawn, an action that makes itto inexplicably happy.

"then let's meet at the back of shimura's after he closes up, okay? you got that? don't forget!" with that, he runs off, sending you a little wave on the way out, a silly grin stretching across his face.

when the sun finally reaches its peak in the sky, itto is restless. it's a feeling he doesn't experience often, partly because how his life works and partly because of his behavior. he's usually carefree in just about anything, so really, this is a first.

and you do show up. just the thought itself brings a smile onto the white-haired man's face as he coughs into his hand before bringing out the bouquet of wildflowers that he picked for you off the shores and islands of inazuma, along with more than a several brightly colored sweet treats.

"this is a thank you!" itto grinned, shoving the things into your arms, crimson eyes sparkling.

"i-i can't accept this much-!"

"no wayyyy! psh, c'mon. do it for me?" the oni makes a pouty face, staring at you with his pitiful expression.

"fine. ...thank you." in the sunlit area, you're surprised yet flushed expression is as sweet as the candy he's just given you.

"haha, happy white day!"

auughhh and her lore if you wanna read below but I understand that OC lore isn’t everyone’s thing

OKAY SO she comes from a universe where her kind are robots made by a company to terraform planets for the ultra wealthy. So if you have the funds you can purchase a whole planet and whole armies of these little bots will shape it however you want.

BUT. While on the assembly line, before even recovering her directive, a portal opens up and throws her into this odd pocket dimension, which is just a half built city floating in a bright void. (Also when I say half finished I mean more like brutalist aesthetic with just concrete and no glass on the windows)

This place (named ‘Gearsky’ by locals because massive floating gears are the only thing that exist here outside of the city itself) is full of people from their own dimensions just trying to get by. She explores, and comes across a little bear being picked on in an alleyway. (The lil green bear [party bear] in the pics above)

She saves him and then it subconsciously becomes her prime directive to help Party Bear get home/care for him. So they set up base in one of the empty apartments and she just sorta takes care of him.

NOW. How do you get home you may be asking? Well it’s easy. You just need to beat someone in a deathmatch.

Enter the only form of entertainment on this island. The man who is the dictator of this place and subsequently the host of this game, aptly named Host, loves running this game. The rules are simple. 3 people enter, and two can leave alive. Only one needs to die, and the other two can get sent home. The only thing is, you have no idea who you’re going up against.

Now, RB, being a bot made to terraform, has some power behind her with her explosive abilities. But Party Bear has no defenses. So RB tries to strike a deal with Host.

She offers to kill both people in the ring with her for multiversal travel.

Host is intrigued by this offer, and accepts. After wiping the floor with her opponents, she’s granted access to all dimensions. She’s obviously excited and goes home to try and let Party Bear go home, but is heartbroken when she discovers that she’s the only one who can travel using the portals.

But this catches the attention of someone else.

Her future boss.

Another robot, by the codename TB-89.

He took note of her deal, and approached her with a job offer.

Man’s long story short she works for him as an assassin!

Hello! Thank you for your patience, I've finally had some time to think about this wonderful question!! <3

_ In general, Gonta is especially protective of the bugs that have bad reputations. He loves and respects all of the amazing life forms out there, but there's something about them that he relates to, whether he realizes it or not. These misconceptions and fear of "gross" or "scary-looking" creatures that could be aggressive if provoked, with maybe a bite or sting or a disease inside them... well, he knows what that feels like to be seen on such a surface level. He's extremely wary of letting other people handle his own bugs in this category for this reason, until he's really truly sure that they'll be handled safely.

_ Some days it feels like he has an exoskeleton, because of the way the rain falls off of his shape, how kind words can bounce off and he feels like he has to show the side of him that won't waver. Some days he wishes he had one, because skin is easy to tear and bruise and blush, and oh, how it gives him away. But having bones on the inside is good, too.

_ I've mentioned before that Gonta sings a lullaby to his bugs every night, some tune he made up or learned while he was lost. (Maybe he managed to learn how to make certain bug sounds!!) _ Not really a hc, but please, if you will, imagine Gonta talking to baby bugs in a baby-talking voice, like most people do with pets. He doesn't use it with the adults, though - they deserve to be talked to like adults, after all!

_ Gonta building fun enclosures!! (I'm thinking about people with pet jumping spiders, specifically this one person who made their spider a miniature cat tree to explore for enrichment.) He knows what they need, and he can communicate with them to make their short life spans much more exciting! (Setting up tea parties with things they can eat; having an indoor garden area for the pollinators; etc)

_ There are many reasons that Gonta tears up or cries when his bugs are concerned. Celebrating an unexpectedly long life span, happy birthday!! A fight breaking out that he couldn't stop, between bugs that should have been just fine together... A new clutch of babies are hatching!! Oh, none of them made it... Having a staring contest with someone who follows his every movement!! A funeral for someone he's had a long time... Matchmaking a compatible match, they seem very happy!! An accident happened with the enclosure, or the food, or a person mishandled one of them... At the end of the day, sometimes just thinking about bugs is enough to do it!!!! And sometimes, "IT'S JUST SO TINY" is as valid a reason as any :D

_ Gonta is That Guy at bug conventions- people whisper excitedly about him as he passes by, ask for photos, and more than once, he's had someone come up to him and ask anything from, "Would you like to hold my [species name]?! I'd be so honored if you did!!" to "Would you like to be featured in our publication? Your work proceeds you!" He's getting used to it, slowly.

_ Gonta talks to himself. Gonta also talks to bugs and other creatures. It's hard to tell who he's talking to if he's the only person around, sometimes...

_ He loves bug art and tattoos and, while he might not have any tattoos himself, he ogles politely when people show him theirs! At least a few people have asked to get his scientific drawings done as tattoos and he's always initially like "why tho????" until he sees it and then it's "!!!!!!!!!!!" hehe

Ur Ink u did for Inktober was really pretty. Look forward to any more Inktober pictures u can do. Only if u can though.

2nd of all: That Halloween Special AU art of Paps and Sans was so cute! Small baby-ish (demon; I think) Paps and teethwear (demon; I think) and/or braces Sans are so cute. I like their aesthetic too.

3rd of all: I was wondering how u been doing on any of ur projects

(like, Dead Ringer, which, I am very excited for the next episode of, and to see some of Sans, Paps, and Frisk's story of Dead Ringer. Will hopefully say something about Ep3 like I have done about the other previous episodes in some form. Or also like Bonnytale; which I read ur update(s) about on it's blog. And I am also very excited about. Or Inkuabtor. Ok, I probably spelled that wrong. Which, I am curious about. And the TikToks of it have been fun. I do hope u share it's story besides TikTok though. I will use TikTok sometimes. Like to see stuff and/or creators' stuff I like; like you. But I do admit; I don't use TikTok that much).

1. I have been doing some inktober works however I’m currently in a headspace where im overally critical with my work so i haven’t been posting them (here’s one i did but i redid it i will post the new one later today)

3.deadringer process is still slow as i’m focused on college but i have been getting a lot of progress done in which i honestly didn’t think i would, turns out hang drawing/animating as a stress reliever helps me grandly lmao. Also i’m proud of the improvements from the first episode to this one.

As for inkubator I do plan on posting it on Tumblr. So it will only be available on Tumblr and Tiktok! I might have to make another blog for it ooo

4. I have been doing redesigns and story updates on underhell but i haven’t been able to work on it as much as im hyperfixiated on my purple babies (deadringer) and inkubator :’D I will take a look at that though!

waaaa wow thank you for a very interesting question as well as the well wishes <3 its been just kind of a sludge of bad times in our household but hopefully spring will bring better days soon!!

and i would say these days i let myself get influenced by my interests A LOT and its really fun :D i think outside of art my main interest is in films, books and experimental theatre and especially horror genre. i try to purposefully surround myself by interesting and different ideas and art because so often it inspires me with my own stories or characters. like buying random art books and zines, getting into comics and manga that people mention or recommend, going out to see the new indie movie whenever i can, following people who are so passionate about their own craft and stories that it makes me more passionate too. i think admitting to those influences and letting them clearly show is a form of expression and communication as well, like look reading all of Steel Ball Run deeply rewired my brain and im very happy about that and im happy to let my JJBA inspirations show!! or that time i travelled to see Hozier in the summer and the live performance of Eat Your Young was soooooo much, when i got home i had to paint that one vibrant pink and blue piece directly taking from the stage design of that tour!

for example Wolfgang was borne out of my frustration with mainstream android / robot media of the time (Westworld, Detroit Become Human, Blade Runner 2049) but also the history of the robot genre and its lack of accounting for transness in general, as well as my interest in neonoir genre and crime fiction/ detective archetypes and characters who don't fit into those archetypes neatly (thinking Twin Peaks and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). and then so much about how they present has come from my interest in high fashion. and many parts of their story and personality are influenced by music in some way or another as well, and their world has grown bigger feeding on different and newer inspirations etc etc

i'm not a writer primarily, and so i feel like developing characters and worldbuilding sometimes doesn't come easy to me or it's just kind of piece by piece of random arrangements so i try to open my mind to this strange organic process of letting things inspire and influence me and see how it affects what's cooking and rotating inside

i also always think of how Berserk so clearly started out influenced by predecessors and contemporaries like Fist of the North Star, JJBA, Rose of Versailles and Hellraiser and has become this absolute monument that has influenced so many other artists and creators. and if you're familiar with those other works, how interesting it is to read it and recognize the influences. it's like it's own type of language in a way, it's almost like you get to know a little bit more about the artist too if that makes sense

Space (Cowboy) AU! Featuring bounty hunter Legundo and outlaw Viking in a futuristic + western-ish setting :D

explanation and stuff under the cut!

So the gist of the plot is that in the far far future, bounty hunter Legundo and outlaw Viking have a rivalry of sort - Viking always manages to evade Legundo despite his best efforts to either capture or kill him. Then a series of suspiciously coincidental incidents frame Legundo as some sort of serial murderer, forcing him to go on the run. He forms a grudging alliance with Viking to clear his name, in exchange for an unconditional favor.

Other dominos will also show up in this AU, though roles aren’t quite set in stone yet :]

Thoughts so far:

Jamie’ll probably be the empress of a galaxy, and Grady would probably be the captain of the royal guard or some other high-ranking position in said galaxy. I have some scattered ideas about Grady running a tavern instead (that works as a front for an information guild) but we’ll see

Uh Fix is another outlaw for now, along with Sneve, Shadow, and Taneesha. Joy runs a medicine/potion business in the black market, with Josh as her closest subordinate. I think Mongo and Nuke will be bounty hunters that have worked with Legundo in the past. Red would probably be an up and coming bounty hunter that is trying to build up her reputation and is known for taming even the weirdest alien beasts.

I don’t have too many ideas about Ryan, Kiply, or Brock though :( Please give suggestions if you have any!!

And that’s about it! More art will likely come along and hopefully a fic if I ever get this planned out enough

Fragments - episodes 8-11 author notes

I tried keeping the ARR arc as short and snappy as possible, just get some technical art xp and set the table for the following chapters, still I ended up drawing 80+ pages (160+ full color pics) and writing three of these breakdown posts. If you missed the first two: episodes 1-3 and 4-7.

Starting with a note on the entire chapter: it’s called “found and lost” for, obviously, ViviRaha finding and losing each other, forming an X as they get a small taste of what they could’ve been as lovers, then drifting apart, but also Raha finding his purpose while losing his life, and Vivi losing the control over his life as his WoL career picks up. The next time we see him in the ShB arc, he’s lost, so fucking lost.

Now, the scene that predictably created the most confusion.

Possibly their first ever mind game that didn’t go well :’>

It’s easy to conclude that Vivi rejects Raha because he’s a virgin. An inelegantly lying virgin. While yes Vivi’s just being Vivi here, he doesn’t wanna deal with what looks like a mess of emotions in this cabboy, and he isn’t fond of the concept of lying (while not important here, this could be one of his few redeeming qualities). Had Raha been open and upfront, he would’ve acted differently. Maybe. He doesn’t know much about Raha at this point, but the awkwardness and insincerity are enough to discourage him, also he genuinely isn’t in the habit of ruining people’s first times. He may be a slut but he has a semblance of honor x’D So, in a way, he protects Raha from himself.

Sometimes kisses just happen. Without confessions or feelings. They just indulged in a moment and now? What now? Vivi doesn’t think too hard about it since it’s a regular occurence for him, Raha, being himself, spends every moment obsessing over this spark. His WoL, his WoL, his WoL, his WoL?

Ironically, this’s the last time we see them talk to each other.

They must’ve kept talking offscreen, but there’s no speech bubbles anymore until the very end of this chapter. Drifting further apart.

Raha realizes that Vivi's just fine without him. He's not WITH the WoL. (pst Raha look to your right, there’s a much better WoL over there)

His colors naturally stand out, I cranked them even further up to make him feel out of place. Especially that teal eye, yeah.

*leans into the mic* it’s fucken wimdy

Just a visual parallel without much meaning. He has a portable edgy shadow with him at all times.

Another parallel C: Turns are tabling, Vivi may not be in love yet, but he’s definitely impressed by Raha’s singing, and realizing that there's more to him than just the gremlin he knows. This's his first ever encounter of the serious Raha.

His own expressions are vastly different when he's alone, not having to perform for anybody.

Something something facing the darkness and the light :> ..And away from each other. Yeah. Whoops.

A juxtaposition of their attitudes: a silly dreamer and a realist/doubter.

Lack of communication and mutual insincerity/dishonesty. Vivi simply mirrors Raha.

Vivi's upset that this guy has basically chosen death over him. He's thrown off by the sudden change in Raha's demeanor, it shocks him into turning on his brain after a long while, alas it's too late.

The kbye could be expanded into "are you really throwing your life away? I was just beginning to get into you, thought it was mutual, where did that go? You’re choosing some destiny bs over the cool me? Screw you too then, here's something to hopefully make this uncalled-for moment unpleasant for you as well".

This's his inner monologue. He has to come up with something impactful on the spot, therefore he spits out the kbye. Well, considering the canon ShB events, if he was looking to make an impact, I daresay he succeeded :’D

Honestly I commend his ability to assess the situation and react/improvise within seconds, he did it in this scene and now again.

Of course this doesn’t automatically excuse his shitty behavior, as someone rightfully exclaimed, “Vivi how could you?!” - damned I be if this line isn’t Fragments in a nutshell x’D

I’ll always explain but never defend any of his actions.

MELTDOOOOOOOOWN \o/ He’s just so entertaining to watch when he’s agitated. I may hc him and Raha with british voices but Vivi’s body language turns him into a bit of an italian.

Raha’s being an asshole to Vivi? Debatable. To himself? Absolutely. Hence Vivi’s so upset. He rarely if ever raises his voice, this here’s one of the very few instances.

Earlier today, I posted a ficlet exploring Raha’s inner world after sealing the Tower and before putting himself to sleep. This event’s treated as suicide by everyone in Fragments.

Can’t believe the ARR arc’s over, and that it’s been half a year. I had some time to process the fact. Finally I can return to the “current” ViviRaha zone in my brain, that makes me so happy. Honestly do not worry about not being good with Maths or Science as I am just probably worse at them (I am an essay and arts person), it is why I am getting a degree in English to my family's disappointment so I can hopefully become an English Lecturer/Teacher(I can deal with sassy or just plain horrid children as I have my younger cousins).

I only know so much about diseases as I had to learn about some in school but mainly because the main and favourite cousin I babysit has a special interest in diseases. He is actually the inspiration for the Plague AU as he started talking to me about the Bubonic Plague one day and I asked about why plagues had humanoid forms or representations based on some research I had been doing to understand diseases more but mix it with my own special interest which led to them teaching me the symptoms and explaining how they would be represented.

So I thought of the AU and discussed the basic ideas I wanted mixed with the specific details I definitely wanted in the design which he mixed with what he knew of symptoms and how to make it logical to make sense with the disease. He then drew out the designs which made it easier for me to describe.

Also, the details I am on about are how it affected Simon but it is his design as it has many references and the same goes for his backstory and companions. But please do not worry about not knowing as some parts of the UK's school system are just as narcissistic especially where I grew up so I understand that not everyone will know.

The posts for Plague AU König, Makarov, Roach, Price, and Soap will be just as detailed and hopefully can become a game with all my posts to see who can figure out the most or all the details and what they are references to!

Also, sorry about the late reply as we had a Christmas tradition I could not miss (Mrs Brown's Boys is something I recommend to watch) and please do not worry about me getting hangovers as for some reason I never get them even if I drink like a fish.

Perhaps you’ve seen the schedule floating around and thought: “Oh that sounds interesting!”

Or maybe you were an artist last year, and are now wondering whether you could also join as an author.

No matter how you ended up here, if you are wondering whether you have what it takes to be an author for Scribbles & Drabbles, this is the post for you.

A quick & dirty guide to S&D fics

When it comes down to it, there is only one rule for claim responses in S&D, and that is that it should have 100 words.

What form these words take is completely up to you!

Maybe you would like to write poetry!

Maybe you would like to write a single drabble!

Maybe you would like to write a 10k epic (even though this event wasn't specifically designed with you in mind, we certainly won't stop you from doing that either)

All of these are welcome in this event.

But what if you're not that big on writing?

Well, good news!

You could also compose a song!

Or record a podfic!

For the latter, two options will be allowed as submissions:

The art you've chosen has been claimed by another author and they give you permission to record their work as a podfic.

Instead of writing a fic, you sit down with a recording device of your choice and tell the story out loud. In this case, rather than making you count the words you've said, we request that your podfic have at minimum 1 minute 30 seconds of pure fic (that doesn't include ratings/titles/warnings/summary etc. Just story).

Now that you know what you're permitted to write, let's consider the claiming process!

There are some things you should consider before the claiming process:

Each art will have an info section that includes Rating, Character and Relationship requests.

Your response must stay within those limits, so make sure you're comfortable with that before claiming.

There is also an additional section where the artist can put Must Haves (MH), Requests and Do Not Wants (DNW).

MH: Things you Must include in the fic response. This is mandatory.

Requests: Stuff the artist would appreciate to see, but if it's not in there that's okay, too. It is up to you whether you include this stuff.

DNW: Aspects the artist does not want to see in the fic. These are also mandatory, and there will be consequences if you choose to actively go against them.

Figured out what you want to claim? Excellent!

The claims form will have a drop down menu with all the different arts from which you can select 3 (three) arts in the first round of claiming.

Each art can be claimed up to 3 (three) times, so by 3 (three) different authors.

Once you have written 100 words for your three claimed arts, you can come back for more!

If we manage to have all arts in the gallery claimed 3 times, it's free for all, and everyone can write for all the arts they want!

Got your claims? Time to write!

You can submit unfinished fics, you can submit script formats, dialogue snippets, meta, whatever. As already mentioned, if you can fit 100 words in there, you're golden.

If you look at the schedule, you will see a submission deadline for the fics.

This is the date by which your fics need to be in the Ao3 collection!

Please note that we will not be granting extensions this year!

Instead we ask that you let us know by the drop-out deadline, whether you will be able to submit a story, but it will be late, or whether you will not be able to submit something at all, because real life got in the way, so the mod team can make sure that all artists will have at least one gift in their inbox on reveals day.

Sometimes I come across your blog and art. You amaze me everytime. The lines are steady but flowy, shapes have form and function, and the feel of it all is unapologetic. Remarkable.

It reminds me of marshmallows, and tea with milk and honey in a spoon. It's a beautiful feeling, and atmosphere.

Everytime you draw a character, you nail it everytime. And I have a request. I don't believe you have such thing as "ugly" drawings, so I ask you.

truthfully i struggle a lot with perfectionism in art. if something doesn't meet my own standards fast enough i become frustrated and usually end up scrapping everything... a habit/mindset im currently still healing from. so a lot of my self-deemed unsightly sketches (especially digital ones) are lost to the void unfortunately.

so instead here's a piece i never liked. it's my first d&d character! i love her to bits, though i never could get her portrait right for some reason (perhaps the rigidity of the pose? the aloof expression? idk). i was really into crosshatching at the time lol.

(Sorry if I was rambling- and I sorta of had this in my mind for awhile and I didn’t had the guts to ask cause of how shy I am-and sorry again if this sorta of sounds cringe or bad-I just woke up-)

So sorry for the delay with my response! I planned on answering rather quickly but my college schedule didn’t allow it, haha- I appreciate the compliment! And I’m glad you enjoy my content! : D

Assuming you mean to ask how I like to start sketching out my transformation pieces- Theres a couple main things to keep in mind:

Try to figure out what form you’d like to have your character go to first! Before I ever drew any Demon! Luca transformation art, I designed his full demon form and experimented with partial forms!

You’ll often notice with my transformation art that I tend to default to a certain partial form. When you do this, the most you need to worry about getting across is the emotion! I tend to go for fear and pain, but there’s a lot of different options!

Don’t be worried about things not making sense anatomy-wise! Transformations aren’t always pretty or predictable, so awkward middle stages sometimes have the best effect on the piece. “Ugly” mid-transformation characters are oftentimes the most beautiful in this type of art!

Furthermore, with anatomy, I like to figure out where the common points are between human and animal anatomy. The feet is where these kinds of studies are most important in my opinion, as it’s where some of the more drastic and difficult to understand changes take place.

Feel free to let me know if parts of this don’t make sense- I’ll gladly illustrate what I’m talking about in a separate post!

As a final thing, I’ll show the general process I go through while sketching out my transformation artwork:

First, I start with general guidelines. I use a circle for the head, crossed lines to indicate facial feature placement. I use a line to map out the curvature of the back, and I use a box to map out the chest. You want it to taper a bit towards the bottom to show the end of the rib cage. A horizontal line represents the hips, then I use circles for joints and lines for the limbs themselves. Arms are mapped out the same way.

Next, I start putting in the major details. This involves actually drawing out all the limbs in full, sketching where the hair is going to be, mapping the facial expression, etc. With the face, I put the nose where the lines intersect, put the eyes along the horizontal line, and put the mouth in the center of the vertical line, under the nose.

Finally, I add the rest of the details. This is ultimately just refining the sketch to make it nice and readable. I usually erase my guidelines and initial sketch work here so none of that interrupts the details of the final piece.

Hopefully this helps you a bit! It all comes down to a lot of practice and experimentation to really figure out what works and what doesn’t, but you’ll definitely get there! I always recommend studying art from your favorite artists and seeing what you can incorporate into your own style! I’ve definitely got inspirations of my own that have really built up my style to this date ^^

Monster girl designs because why not?

Heyyyyyy... It's been a hot minute... uh yeahhhh, but I'm back! Hi guys, or I guess literally anyone who may come across this post, how's it going? Today I bring to you some more spooky stuff, this time in the form of one of my monster girl OCs Candy!

For a while now, one of the staples of my art has been monster girls. When I was younger (and honestly even now) I loved monster high dolls and their movies. Since I could remember I have always loved the more macabre and spooky, and the idea of combining scary with cute is ingenious and scratches my brain very good good.

So recently, I've decided to create some of my own monster girl ocs, and the designing process has been really fun! Candy here was one of the first girls I designed, and I love her so much.

I based Candy off of Frankenstein's monster and the like, as she's a kinda zombie girl. As her name implies, I based her hair off of different candies, mainly multicolored lolly pops (with swirled colors) and candy corn. For her design as a whole, she's based on more modern traditions of Halloween and depictions of such with a more trick or treat type motif. (unofficially almost all of my monster girl designs are based on different Halloween or Halloween adjacent traditions, holidays, and celebrations).

For now, Candy is the only girl whose design is done and hopefully I can show off the rest of my ideas soon!
