Okay but like can Yurio and Emil be friends? Just imagine Yurio being like "Hey Yuuri go run into that wall"

"Uh no, why?"

"It'll be funny lol"

Then Emil's like "I'll do it" and just bolts into the wall for no reason (probably stops right before it so he's not hurt but falls over all dramatically and makes Mickey have a heart attack).

Yurio keeps telling him to do stupid dangerous stuff and he just does (or does a safer alternative that still satisfies Yuri) and that makes Yuri respect him.

If asked Yurio will be like "oh Emil? Yeah he's pretty cool, not like we're friends or anything though" like your text conversations would say otherwise Yuri

Yuri On Ice Headcanons: Phone Call Edition!

Yuri: He likes to be on calls and doesn't mind being in a call with someone for a while. Since he would sometimes be away from home, he likes to call his family to see how they're doing and his mother keeps him in a call for a very long time. The one thing he doesn't really enjoy too much is video calls, he doesn't really like to have his face up close and personal to the camera and his mom always calls him on facetime.

Victor: He most likely doesn't really get a lot of personal calls (spam calls or fans who found out his number) so he cherishes the calls that he gets from the people close to him, especially Yuri.

Yurio: Unless you're someone important, if you're calling him, he'll hang up on you immediately and ask what the hell you want from him in a text message. if he's calling you and he's not in a weird angsty grumpy mood, he'll make a quick conversation and then end the call, which at most takes 5 minutes.

Phichit: He'd be in a call for legit hours, you'd probably need to make up an excuse to leave the call or else he'll be talking your ears off. (He does have good tea to share though, mostly stuff that's on social media.)

this isn't a revelation or anything but i just wanna say as a person with extremely shit vision, meaning that objects too far away are literally just blobs without my glasses, people with terrible eyesight can still recognise people/objects from far away as long as they are familiar enough. The same way you can recognise a close friend or smth from the back of their head. Like if my sister was standing halfway across the street she'd look like a brown blob but id still be able to tell it was her even if she was surrounded by a dozen other brown blobs of people.

I like to think that in the same way, at the end of his performance when he's looking directly at Victor, even though Yuuri can't see shit without his glasses and Victor is surrounded by a million other people, he can still pinpoint exactly where Victor is because he's such a familiar person, the only blob Yuuri can fully tell apart. He is Yuuri's blob.

Yuri On Ice Headcanons: Ordering Edition!

(How the characters order food from a restaurant, also the first YOI Headcanon in the blog!)

Yuuri: He'd usually pick his favorite thing to eat if there is anything familiar on the menu or if he's at a familiar location. If there isn't anything familiar, he'll just stick to whatever he thinks would taste good and try something new. Yuuri doesn't usually speak up when ordering but that isn't because he's nervous or anything, he just sometimes isn't so sure about what he's ordering.

Victor: He likes to try something new all the time, no matter what location he's at. He has a good volume and is pretty confident when ordering food, maybe even making small chit-chat with the cashier/waiter while he's at it. If the employee is a fan of his, he'll maybe allow a photo but that depends on if Victor's in a good mood.

Yurio: He is kind of unsure about what he wants usually, it's not that he's picky, but it's that he's indecisive unless something truly catches his eye. He is a bit loud and impolite when ordering, but not down-right rude unless he's annoyed/aggravated. If the cashier/waiter is a fan, he refuses any photos being taken of him and will not smile if one is taken anyway.

Phichit: He really enjoys trying new things anywhere he goes so he can post the meal on his social media. He is pretty confident and chill when ordering, and is more than willing to take a picture if anyone is a fan of his at a restaurant, Phichit is even willing to tag them on his insta too.

Based on this self indulgent post I wrote the other day, about a Kuro AU feauturing 5 years old Ciel and a new demon dad who's doing his best. Suddenly this little scene popped into my mind, then I remembered my talented fren @grelleswife's Dadbastian fanfic The Wolf (link here!) so I guess that, even though it's not exactly the same setting, I must have gotten subconsciously inspired by it 😅

During his days in the cult all little Ciel could do was try to survive the best way his young mind could think about, and when he had just been rescued by the demon he was weak and sickly, barely alive even, and then pretty much catatonic. Once the dust has settled, however, the realization that his family won't come back dawns on him, and he starts having nightmares about monsters with deformed faces that laugh while hurting him. Moreover, even though he's supposed to be back at his house the place doesn't feel too familiar. The first night the demon hears the child screaming and crying, they try to comfort him as best as they can with the scanty knowledge they have about comforting children. After a while they have an idea, based on the partially burned portrait they found from which they could make out the shape of the family pet.

(You ain't foolin' anyone trash demon, you're starting to care about the smol).

When Ciel wakes up the next morning, he's still surrounded by the borzoi's slender but fluffly body. He yawns and rubs his eyes, and then sits up and just stares at the creature that looks so much like his late pet. "Good morning, child." the voice coming from the dog says, without really expecting an answer, "Did you sleep well?" After a pause, the child that up until this point hadn't spoken at all utters a single word, albeit almost in a whisper. "Hm? I am afraid I could not hear that. Come again?" Ciel lifts a little hand, points a finger at the animal and raises his voice a bit. "Sebastian." "Ah. Well, yes, I guess you can call me that from now on, if you so wish." the demon answers with a small nod, and Ciel could swear he sees his snout twist into a faint smile. Sebastian then sleeps on Ciel's bed, in the form of the soft borzoi, every night until the child is a little older and can be alone at night.

When Yuuri was just a fanboy, his phone wallpaper was always various photoshoot pics of Viktor. Always professional, modeling pictures. Yes, Yuuri loves looking at them because who doesn’t like staring at the world’s most gorgeous man, Viktor Nikiforov? But something about these pictures felt a little...detached. No one knew much about the legend’s personal life. It was something Yuuri had always wanted to know. But he respected his boundary as a fan, and knew Victor’s private life was his own business. ‬

Fast forward to engaged Victuuri. Yuuri’s lockscreen is still Viktor— But this time, it’s his own pictures of his fiancé. Viktor tying his skates at the rink. Viktor with his robe half open, reading his book with a very intense expression. Viktor‪, cuddling Makkchin on the couch in St. Petersburg, staring intently at whatever movie they were watching. A slightly awkward picture taken before Stammi Vicino, where Viktor puts up a small peace sign. Viktor with his headphones in, listening to Yuuri’s new free skate song with sparkling eyes because ‘It’s perfect, Yuuri!~’ ‬

and then the thought of him post-canon, feeling comfortable enough to sleep in with the person he loves. safe. for once yuuri wakes up first and victor’s hair is tangled, there’s a drool stain on his pillow, and he’s breathing with his mouth wideee open. yuuri reaches a hand out to caress his face, victor blinks his eyes open, and he just smiles. 🥲
