Oh, thank you so much!! This is beautiful, and I absolutely love how you’ve taken the prompt – they look so good in your art style (ahh, they’re so cute but also pretty), and I love the way you colour and shade – it’s so soft and lovely! And the posing, the expressions!! I can’t stop looking at their expressions, they’re so good... (and I just love the moments after battle, and this just captures it perfectly)

I apologise for rambling, but I really I love it a lot and I’m just a little lost for words, haha, since seeing this pairing get any kind of content at all just makes my day – especially since this fulfils all those tropes I’m a fan of. Aah, I love this so much! Thank you so much for drawing them – it looks perfect, and I can’t stop smiling! I absolutely love all the details you put into it – the fact that you included all of the Seventh Platoon in FEH (ahh I love them), the details on everyone’s clothes and the colours, shading and the entire atmosphere, I love it! I feel warm looking at this and it’s just festive and lovely, thank you so much!

My piece for @summonersecretsanta 2020!

I’ve been really lucky with getting some really interesting and outstanding summoners for this event (this year and the last). Each of them brought something new to my “summoner repertoir” and always made it really easy to come up with a setting and a story for the picture.

This summoner here is @20lait1 ‘s Einaki. My prompts were 7th Platoon, frienship/platonic, Einaki falling asleep while working and someone finding her. Since this whole task is so rare in nature, it would be a shame to not include more members of the 7th platoon so here they are! I hope you like it and happy holiday!

Oh, I didn’t realise you’d posted this! It’s my boy and he looks really good in your style!! I love the way you drew his hair and expression hh this is great — thank you so much for taking my request! (And I’m looking forward to seeing the other five too! And of course, the Awakening comics, if/when you make those — I’m very excited to see content for them! I wonder what kinds of interactions I would Lon’qu and Virion have...?)

Since I’ve drawn Marth at least once and Lon’qu a grand total of never, I chose him for @20lait1‘s request for the Six Character Fan Art Challenge.

And yes, I will get to making all six eventually. I am, as usual, just tiring myself out enormously. (This sketch gave me good ideas for Awakening comics, even though the game is quite old now.)

Oh, and I just remembered I drew this! I wasn’t very happy with my first few digital drawings of Roderick so I had to try again. I’m much happier with how this looks, and... have a developed a new chibi style? I don’t know anymore. But using thicker lines is kind of fun and I don’t know why I stopped doing it.

(...it’s hard when your favourite FE character is one of the least popular but it’s okay I’ll just drawmy own content–)

I’m going to throw out some greyscale doodles I’ve been doing because I found out that drawing without caring about making a finished product is actually kind of fun, so I ended up doing like… four. Or more. Something like that, anyway.

Out of the three characters here, I think Katarina is the only one with a chance of getting any sort of alt. (Luke and Roderick are like at the bottom of CYL so there’s no chance for them… unfortunately) Anyway, I drew fanart of Halloween designs for them, which were made by うにぃ on Pixiv – I’ll include a link to their Pixiv in a reblog because links get eaten by Tumblr.

(Anyway, I personally imagine Luke to be a red tome infantry, Roderick to be an axe infantry, and Katarina to either be a lance or staff flier. And Luke’s holding a glass of tomato juice… I mean, what else could it be?)

This was such a nice surprise to see – thank you so much for drawing Scorpio!! I... don’t know whether to be ashamed or not that I laughed at that. But yes, if this were to be an RPG game, he’s the one who carries the whole team. (You know, like that meme ‘when I die, I want you all to lower me into my grave... so you all can let me down one more time’.

But that aside, thank you so much! He looks great, and I just love how you’ve drawn his hair and expression. He just looks so irritated – I love it. (I need to pick up tips for how to shade dark hair too...) But really, this is amazing! I can’t stop staring at it, haha – and I’m like the detail with the symbol on his armour, too. (And maybe I’m seeing things, but his spear reminds me of a scorpion’s barb in a way!) I love it so much – thank you so much for the fanart. I really don’t know how I can thank you, haha – I really appreciate it. (And you reminded me I should probably be working on Daybreak’s Crest... but also I’ve gotten distracted with something else again. Whoops.)

Anyway, if you guys... uh, somehow haven’t seen their art yet despite how much I yell about it on here, please check their blog out. Their art is great, and I just really recommend you check it out, or take a look at their projects Alliance 5 and Knights to Meet You – I’ve been quite invested in the story and the character designs are stunning. So, uh, enough of my extended essay response (ha – I... don’t know if that was a joke or not), and... thank you, again!

I get back to my Daybreak’s Crest fan art spree, this time it’s Scorpio von Charon! I suppose all those belts are for the supplies and holding up the team as well as his garments, aha…. I should stop making jokes.

(Fan art’s a lot easier now thanks to my new tablet. Only my fingers are a little achy compared to my whole wrist like last time.)

Here’s Luke, 5* pitybreaker no more the rowdy squire of the Seventh Platoon. I don’t think I’ve properly drawn him before, so here he is! I’m hoping to get through the rest of the Seventh Platoon at some point.

Below’s a list of the characters I’ve completed in this mini project, because I like starting projects. Hopefully I finish this one. (The thick outline on Luke here was done with the ‘select and expand’ tool, rather than ‘mostly by hand’ method’ I did with Ryan. I’m just too lazy to switch pens each time I draw an outline.)

Ryan for FEH? (Maybe next year when the next Shadow Dragon/MoTE banner comes out... For those of you who didn’t know, Ryan is Gordin’s fairly unknown brother, because he comes from FE3/FE12, the latter not having been released outside of Japan.)

Either way, he’s my favourite green archer, and his permanent puppy expression in his FE12 sprite is... well, it’s cute, but it also makes me wonder what the Altean army is doing recruiting literal children into their army. But hey, it could be worse, right?

I didn’t know which one I preferred more so here are both. This was inspired by an image of a magazine cover I saw on Pinterest (Tumblr does strange things with links so if someone really wants the link for some reason... just ask?) and the variations of these ‘fake magazine covers’ I’ve seen on Instagram. I’ve always wanted to try draw Lucia in cool/fashionable clothes, just because that would be something she would do, but as it turns out, I realise I don’t know how fashion works and I’ll just throw a bunch of random articles of clothing together and call it a day.

Anyway, this has been a little been out of my comfort zone (tried new things; a pose that is a little more interesting, tried messing around with line weight, some sort of half tone thing... and I don’t think I’ve ever used such a bright colour in my life, even if it is just a background.) Oh, and not to forget, the clothing choices, too. I think I’ll go back my usual thing now...

I drew Cecil again!

(The background and Ladyblade is basically me drawing/colouring over images of the FE12 background and sword that I found on the Fire Emblem wiki.) She’s probably taking a break from training or watching Luke being beaten up in a match against some random knight.

I am shocked FE12 Cecil doesn’t have any proper, fullbody references, aside from the main FE12 art where she’s in the background and on a horse. Maybe if she gets into Heroes? Also, I don’t understand why she doesn’t appear to have sleeves underneath her shoulder pauldrons. It looked uncomfortable, so I gave her sleeves. 

Anyway, I was messing around with things (as you can tell), especially with the lineart. Thicker lineart is somewhat fun, and a lot less bothersome than the thin pen I often use. I might try this again some time.
